Incorrect total is being added up on registration form and submitted to PayPal as an incorrect amount

We have an Adobe Central registration form for our event and when people total the cost and submit payment they are being billed an incorrect amount. Pay Pal says this is an Adobe Forms issue. Can you help?

Adding filename in PDF form and inserting the filename as the subject when emailing the form

I have created a form in LiveCycle and have added 2 buttons - Save As and Submit by Email (created successfully thanks to the posts in this Forum). Can someone please advise how I can:
1. Add the file name to the PDF document when the Save As button is clicked.
2. Use the file name as the Subject when the user clicks the Submit by Email.

Custom user registration form and custom user attributes.

I am wondering if anyone out there has any experience creating a custom portal user self registration form. This form would contain some default user attributes that are in the standard form, but it would also need to contain user attributes that are custom to the application we are deploying. Just wondered if anyone has any experience with this or how it might work.

Registration Forms and PayPal

Hello!
I have recently created a registration and ticket purchase form for a fundraising dinner. I linked our PayPal account to the form so that people can pay directly when registering. However, it still allows for the form to be submitted even if someone does not pay via PayPal. Is there a way to force people to pay online or else not allow the form to submit?

Thank you! The purchaser did select a purchase field. She completed the entire form (which registered onto my spreadsheet through Adobe) but when the form directed her to paypal, she didnt pay. So the form that populates to adobe with all of her info has everything except payment. Is there a way to force them to pay or else I dont get a copy of their registration and they cant reigster?

I'm not sure how to create one of those forms showing name, address etc. or does this come as part of pay pal. I need to register people for events, and let them pay for it online.

Registration form question...

I'm starting a new project and the client wants a registration from that shows what people choose in a separate box. To better illustrate:
What is being asked is a registration form in the "Main Content" area, where people can choose what classes they want to sign up for; and the choices being shown in the "Submission Form" area as they choose them. I'm just wondering if that's possible with dreamweaver or is it more of adobe flash I should be working with.
Any help with this would be appreciated. Possible links or some kind of tutorial around this. Thanks!

First, you definitely don't need and shouldn't use Flash for this.
Basically it sounds to me like you are looking for a cart type functionality without any payment processing. How well versed with you on server-side languages (eg: PHP), databases (eg: mySQL) and Javascript? If you are not,you may want to look for scheduling scripts ( http://www.hotscripts.com/search/php/scheduling ). That's where I would start and evaluate based on how much control the client wants on the backend for this registration process.

REGISTRATION FORM & LOGIN

I want to create an e-commerce site with HTMLDB 2.0. My site will have some public pages and some private pages.
A user will have to register using a registration form, and then login in order to see the private pages.

I don't mind answering my own question here. I went into the Dreamweaver Exchange and downloaded WebAssist products. Security Assist, Data Assist, Universal eMail - a package deal they had. (Researched user reviews first). Of course, I had just moments (OK, a few days) to get it all working. I had to purchase tech support from WebAssist for Security Assist to help me set it all up. Best money I ever spent. Their support is quick and very efficient. They understood my dilema and time constraint - helped get it all up and running in no time and taught me how to carry on for a reasonable price. If you're looking for an answer to my question here - that's what I did and it is all working great!!! By the way - you have to convert your site to php for this, which simply means change the .html extension to .php - so easy to do. I think I spent most of my time trying to get an answer to that simple question!! Good Luck!!

Where can i locate the registration form on my MBP (Leopard) ?

ok, 1st, let me tell how this problem went, i just bought my MBP on 27 dec ( 2 days ago )
and you get this registration form at the beginning of the setup right? at that time, my MBP is still using 10.4.10 ( so basically it's tiger ) and i did the registration form ( its done and sent )
the next morning, i tried to install the Leopard which comes in the box, and after i did, the same setup was asked for us to fill it in right, ( the registration form stuffs ) but the internet was down at that time, so i thought i can cancel the registration form and do it when the internet backs up, because usually it can be located on our Home Folder, but then later, when the internet backs up, i wanted to do the form registration, but it's not there
help me!, i know i can register in the Apple's website, but i really need to know where it went? because obviously i havent register the form for the Leopard ver

ok, and i did,...
and it did take me back to the welcome screen when i reboot
hmm.. there is just 2 things after i delete the stuff
the downloaded files are gone ( but the installed programs remained, only the installer which i download is gone )

my internet become so super crap slow ( i dont know if it's just a co-incident that the provider are having problem or not )
but apart from these 2, i have not found anything else
basically, deleting that parameters gives you back the factory default settings and also takes you back to the Leopard welcome screen, and it deletes the downloaded installer.dmg in the "downloads" folder
the updates remains the same (10.5.1) also the software updates that i downloaded are still there
and now im pretty statisfied because i know what happened, lol
and the only thing i dont like is suddenly my internet bcomes so slowww ( im afraid its the side effect, but i hope not )

I have set up a Accommodation Registration Form and at the bottom of the form I want to add a SUBMIT key and when clicked on by the customer the completed form is sent directly to my chosen email address account. Can this be done and if so, How?

This functionality as described by you is not supported by FormsCentral. In FormsCentral only the data is submitted to the server, not the entire pdf. However, you can set up FormsCentral to send email notifications with the submitted data. This is accomplished by 1) Go to the Options tab and select Email Notifications. 2) Go to Distribute tab and click on Open button (this will publish the form and add the Submit button).
You can test all of this by going to the Test tab and clicking on the Test Web Form button.

Preventing help files being added to start menu after installing an application in windows 8.1 enterprise

Hi Guys
when we install an Application in windows 8 family, we see that in addition of Application executable file, user manuals (.chm) and PDF & other files related to that App are added to start menu (when we click down Arrow which shows all programs) and
so the start menu gets quit messy.
is there any settings to make only applications executable file be added to start menu & prevent other types of files related to that App being added here?

This issue is related to the programs package we installed.
• An installation package contains all of the information that the Windows Installer requires to install or uninstall an application or product and to run the setup user interface.
• The developer can specify installation context, and based on these properties, Windows Installer automatically redirects the values of folder properties and registrations to locations.
• The shortcut is added to the profile by these context
We could right click these file and could find out they are the shortcut mentioned above.

Every single website, or link within a website page is being added to my location bar/address bar drop down menu. How can I stop this? This just started happening.

I don't want everything added or saved in the location bar. Only urls that I used a lot used to be saved there but now every single url (and url within a url)I visit is being added to it.

A possibility is to open the links via the right-click context menu or a middle-click in a new tab to make sure that Firefox sees them as regular links.

I keep getting the message on iTunes that my Shuffle (which is current on updates) needs to be restored. It is showing up in devices, but when I try to add songs to it, I don't get the little progress bar showing me that the song is being added. ***?

I updated to the new iTunes last week. Today I plugged in my 4th generation Shuffle to add some new songs. The shuffle appears in Devices, but when I try to add songs, I'm not getting the progress bar at the top of the screen, so I'm assuming the song isn't being added. I tried ejecting the Shuffle and plugging it in again, and I got a message that my iPod needed to be restored before it could be used with iTunes -- even though the screen also said the Shuffle is up to date on the software. I finally gave in and restored it, but I continue to get the same message. When I eject the iPod and try to play it now, I'm getting nothing, and when it is connected to the usb port, the orange light is continually flashing. I've been trying to figure this out for about 3 hours now, so if anyone could help me, I'd be eternally grateful!

The 1st and 2nd gen shuffles do not have an automatic syncing mode, like later shuffles and the "big" iPods. It is maintained manually (or by using the Autofill feature).
If the iTunes sidebar (along left side of window) is hidden, from the menu bar, under View, select Show Sidebar. The shuffle appears in the sidebar, under DEVICES, when connected.
To add songs to the shuffle... Show a list of songs in the iTunes window. For example, you can select Music under LIBRARY (in the sidebar) to show your complete iTunes music library list. Select a song and drag it to the shuffle in the sidebar. You can do this with more than one song selected. Alternately, select the song(s), right-click the selection, and choose the command to Add to Playlist -> [name of iPod].
To remove songs from the shuffle... Select the shuffle in the sidebar. To the right, it's Settings screen is shown. Toward the top, where it says Settings, click on On This iPod (to the right). The list of songs on the shuffle is shown below. Select the song you want to remove and press Delete on the keyboard. You can do this with more than one song selected.
NOTE: At the bottom of the shuffle's list of songs, there are controls for the Autofill feature. You can also use Autofill to fill your shuffle from your music library or from a specific playlist.
