Indesign CS5.5 Problem layer with video with ipad and share video in a swf file on web

Hi Everyone,
I have two problems:
I'm just working on my portfolio
- I've a page with 3 layers (Cover, Video, base) I'd like that the "cover" layer hide part of the video when it's playing. With a preview as SWF file it's working fine but when i try the preview for ipad or upload on a device when the video start it stay on the top.
So doesn't "respect" the layer order. Why? how is that possible?
- I created and exported my portfolio as .SWF with also html file. In this portfolio there are 2 Video File (.mov .m4v) when i try the preview in local they work fine, but when i upload the portfolio with the resourse files and all other file created, i share it and all the aniamtion works fine exept the video. They doesn't show up. Why?
I mean all the folder ar shared, i don't want everytime download the folder in my desktop to watch also that video.
How can i do that?
I just want to share a portfolio with inside video.

That might or might not work. Let's try closing ID again, log in withthe old user, then delet the files, if they exist, inthe list you'll find at Adobe Forums: InDesign crashes at startup
Your user library is hidden in 10.8, so if yo don't kow how to show those files, see Access hidden user library files | Mac OS 10.7 Lion
Now restart ID using the Keyboard shortcut to remove the prefs (hold down Cmd + Control + Shift + Opt keys as soon as you launch ID and choose Yes when asked if you want to replace the prefs. If you don't see the confirmation message, you weren't fast enough, so you need to try again).

I believe there are a couple of similar threads about CC or CC2014 behaving this way that might give yo some hints, but CS5 is not supported on your OS and may not run properly regardless of what you do. An in-place OS upgrade or an attempt to migrate the application would both be major problems for ID, so if you did either of those things you'll want to uninstall, run the cleaner tool (CS Cleaner Tool for installation problems | CCM, CS6, CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3) and reinstall.

InDesign CS5 on MAC - ID Crashing (With Serious Error Message)

After going into Document Setup with a document open, and changing the document orientation from landscape to portrait, InDesign CS5 crashes after clicking OK with an error message (see attached screen shot). I've deleted the settings file by starting ID with Shift+Command+Option+Ctrl held down. I ran some maintenance using the app OnyX (cleared caches, repaired permissions, etc.) Any idea what would cause this? I've stopped short of reinstalling, but that may be the only option. Also, I updated CS5 with the latest updates, and that didn't fix it either.

At this point you may have corrupt recovery data that is preventing ID from starting if it crashes each time you try to launch it. Move everything out of the InDesign Recovery folder intoa safe place (you'll probably want to delete it later, but you don't know yet) and see if ID will launch. Then try opening any files that you were working on at the time of the first crash. Hopefully they aren't damaged and you've only lost work since the last save.
If you have a crash report, pleast post it on pastebin.com, then put a link to it here.

In fact, I find that if I cannot connect via Verizon, I can pick up my original iPad and connect right away ! Anyone else having this problem?

The solution worked instantly and my youtube plays super fast in hd just like verizons T.V. adds say they do. Now, that is.

DPS no longer supports CS5. You'll either need a copy of CS6, or will need Creative Cloud.

I recently updated my IOS software on my IPAD with the latest version and now video from some sites does not run. I did not do the update on my other IPAD and the video runs fine. Any idea why.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Try using icloud and that should solve your problem

InDesign CS5 problems

Every time I open InDesign CS5 the beach ball cursor comes up and it never goes away. I am totally unable to use InDesign because of this. Here is my pastebin of the activity monitor. I don't know what to do.

Restart your Mac in Safe boot mode. Shut down and while restarting the Mac hold down Shift key and keep it pressed until you see the spinning logo under Apple logo. Now Launch InDesign and let me know if you're able to use it.

ICS with Virtual AP DNS and Shares

I have configured ICS with an virtual AP for my WLAN adapter.
This is working well. I can connect to it and I have a internet connection.
Now my problem is that I have a Server with AD, DNS, DHCP and Shares on my network and I want that the clients have access to these.
Is it possible to configure the ICS so that the WLAN client will get in the same network as my ethernet adapter? So that they get the IP from my Server and not the local machine. If not, is possible get access to all other services of my server? And is possible
to get access to the Shares on that server?
EDIT: I have tested again and it seems everything is working only DNS is not working. I cant get that the clients has the server as DNS and not the local machine

It shows the backup as a file and shows various system info. but there are no photos or other files shown.

A PowerPC Mac, if that's what it is, won't be able to see an Intel Mac's formatted data. Also ExFat formatting is not supported by 10.6.3 or earlier. I would try viewing the backup on another Intel Mac with at least 10.6.4. If it isn't there, then the backup never really took place. I much profer a hard drive with Carbon Copy Cloner.

Since you seem to be using a new disk for Lion, Time Machine will consider previous backups to be for a "different" computer. Try doing a control-click or click-and-hold on the Time Machine icon in the Dock, then choose "Browse Other Time Machine Disks". This should allow Time Machine to see the previous backups.
In the worst case you should be able to open those Time Machine backups and copy your documents from there to your home folder.

the DCIM folder is just a folder called DCIM . Just like a camera would create, so does the iPad. Both your videos and your photos are located inside that folder.
In Windows Explorer: Computer\iPad's Name\Internal Storage\DCIM
Instead of Rick's iPhone it will have your iPad's name. whatever it may be.
