Infopath date Default Value ....

Hi,
I have a date field called "Date" and another date field called "Archive".
I would like archive to contain "21/12/Year of field date".
So i tried many things but i still have the same problem. No matter if a use a calculated default value or a rule to update my field archive, i always have the field underline like if the value wasn't matching with the expected field type ...
The formula is : concat("31/12/"; sous-chaîne(Date; 1; 4))
-> displays 31/12/2014 but with the field highlight
If i pick up the value in the picker it will display the same value but without error message !
Any idea of what's wrong ?

So ... i fanally got it :
So what i did was to use this formula : concat(sous-chaîne(Date; 1; 4); "-12-31T00:00:00").
Even if i use date format it seems that adding time to the formula solved my problem.
As Andrew mentionned, the point is that date format has to be entered this way : YYYY-MM-DD whatever your local settings are or the format displayed by InfoPath.

In the PRE-INSERT trigger, write,
     :CREATED_BY    := GET_APPLICATION_PROPERTY(USERNAME);
     :CREATION_DATE := DATE;And in the PRE-UPDATE trigger, write,
     :UPDATED_BY := GET_APPLICATION_PROPERTY(USERNAME);
     :UPDATE_DATE := DATE;Then your issue will be solved.

Under the Developer tab in Infopath you can manage Loading Events, unfortunetly i dont have Visual Studio on this PC so i cant laborate, but i believe it's rather simple to figure out.

Hello there - Before I explain my issue, I would like to point out that I have reviewed some other discussions on selecting default values for multiple selection listbox. But my issue is specific and different, and not answered by any of the discussions
I visited.
I have a multiple selection list box (say for example all countries in the world as values), and I would like to pre-select or setup multiple default values (say five countries) based on some criteria that I query from MS SQL database table.
I know we can go to Data | Default Values option to setup one or many default values for multiple selection list box. When I enter the default values manually this works. I also right click the field under the Multiple-Selection List Box group, then select
Add another Value Below and set the Default Value for this field to setup multiple default values.
However, if I reference a field (either an infopath field or a field from SQL database) I am not able to setup multiple default values. Infopath automatically selects the last field I selected for all instances and in the end I am able to see only one
default value selected instead of many. How to fix this problem? Why would infopath allow multiple default values when we enter it manually but not when we reference some fields?
Please let me know if you need more info. Appreciate your help.

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to set multiple default values for a multiple checkbox list in InfoPath form.
I did a test with SQL database table. I set three default values for the checkbox list by adding three values field under the group field(Data->Default values), each value field is for a default value. Then publish it to my SharePoint site, everything

Default value don't get displayed for Fetch XML report

Hi All;
i have a date parameter in a fetch XML report
i set its default value as 01/01/2010
when i run this report in SSRS i can see the default value of the date
But when the same report gets displayed on CRM 2013 online - report section the date default value dont get displayed
Any help for this much appreciated

I am afraid that you have mixed the WCF and WCF Data Service, here is a WCF Service example(it works with the Entity Framework while it is not WCF Data Service):

How to set a default value for a drop down list box and then apply cascading based on the default value in Infopath 2010.

Hello Everyone
I have two drop downs. Both are coming from look up fields from two lists. i want to set a default value(first list item) for the first drop down list box and then apply cascading based on the default value for the next drop down list box. I found one article(http://www.bizsupportonline.net/infopath2010/display-first-item-drop-down-list-box-infopath-2010.htm)
where in i can set a default value but i can't apply cascading based on that default value. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

How to Get Default Value of a Data Type in SQL Query.

I am creating a procedure which will take input the table name and Column Name.
In the Output i would like to have the data type and default value of that data type which will be used by a another procedure to blank the selected column in the database.
I tried with SET NULL on the column but as the database is of navision the table have property set to NOT NULL.
Here is what i have done till now.

Error giving a default value to a date column in the attribute settings.

When im giving a default value to a date column in the attribute settings i get this error when im running my jsp page (bc4j web application):
Error Message: JBO-25009: Cannot create an object of type:oracle.jbo.domain.Date with value: 31-dic-2099
How can i fix that?

My requirement is simple, to add one day to the default value of the Req deliv date under "General header data" in VA21.
I modified MV45AFZZ (an include in SAPMV45A).
I added this code:
if sy-tcode eq 'VA21'.
case screen-name.
    when 'RV45A-KETDAT'.
     write reqdate to RV45A-KETDAT.
   screen-input = 0. "don't let user change it back.
   screen-active = 1. " but let user see the field and the
endcase.
endif.
reqdate is the new value for RV45A-KETDAT which is sy-datum + 1.
This code does'nt actaully change anything. I tried to change other values of other fields using the same code and it works. Is RV45A-KETDAT the correct field to use?

You don't need to do that via user exit. You can configure the RDD defautls by document type in SD config, and adding 1 day to the current date is very simple. You can continue to use the FIELD_MODIFICATION user exit to lock down the field.
Also, as a general practice in the sales exits, don't use SY-TCODE, use T180-TCODE or T180-TRTYP, even if you're not using BAPIs to create documents.

How to set default value to current date in Webcenter Imaging Application?

I have created an application in Webcenter Imaging and have a field called as ScanDate.
While uploading documents against that particular application, i want that ScanDate field should default to Current Date.
I tried setting the default value but it becomes a static date.
Can anyone suggest me what to do in this case?

You can't do that anyway. The default values are saved as part of the VI and a built application can not do that. Instead, you will have to do this yourself by saving the data to a file, loading it and wiring it into a local variable of the control. You can do this, for example, with the configuration file VIs or, if you want to rely on the good work that other people already did, you can go to the OpenG site and download their file package, which includes saving control values to INI files.

suppose as your ex. if you are having fiscalyear variant in the dataselection tab then specify K4 in the from column, again the ficalyearvariant row and click on insert duplicate row at the bottom . you will get another row . In that enter Y2 in the from column. now you can extract K4, y2 values .

Per my understanding, you might want to set a default value to the Query String Filter Web Part.
It would not be able to set default value to the Query String Filter Web Part with the OOTB features available.
By default, with a Query String Filter Web Part in the current page, we can filter other web part in the same page by adding parameters and values in the address bar
of browser.
If setting the “Query String Parameter Name” of a Query String Filter Web Part as “t”, then we can filter the corresponding connected web part by inputting such an

It will be better to ensure the Master table contain data for each date (with some default values) and you will not have to tweak your sql.

I've got a report that presents data between a start and an end date.
I want it to check if it's a monday and present data from the previous week, otherwise present data from this week.
For the "Default" value of parameter @startdate, I've got the following expression:
=iif(WeekdayName(DatePart("w", Today)) = "Monday",DateAdd("d",-8,Today()),DATEADD("d", 1 - DATEPART(DateInterval.WeekDay, Today(),FirstDayOfWeek.Sunday), Today()))
for @enddate I've got default value:
=iif(WeekdayName(DatePart("w", Today)) = "Monday",DateAdd("d",-1,Today()),DATEADD("d", 7 - DATEPART(DateInterval.WeekDay, Today(),FirstDayOfWeek.Sunday), Today()))
but it doesn't appear to be working, I've checked
WeekdayName(DatePart("w", Today))
as an expression in a text box and it evaluates to Monday but my IIF statement above always uses the DATEADD line therefore not returning "Monday" as the value (even though it is).
Is it a problem that the parameters are of Data/Time data type and I'm trying to evaluate as type text?
Any help would be appreciated.
