  • Failed to load Hardware monitor driver

    I'm running XP and getting  a "Failed to load Hardware monitor driver" message when I do the following.  Log Off\Switch Users.  When the new user comes up I get the error message along with a request that I send the following files to Microsoft.   C:\WINDOWS\minidump\Mini042404-01.dmp and C:\DOCUME~1\HEIDIN~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER1.tmp.  It then blue screens and reboots.  I can boot up into all users without any problem.  I only have the problem if I try to switch from one user to another withour rebooting first.  Is this a problem with "Live Monitor" or is it a problem with my Samsung Monitor?  I downloaded a Monitor Driver from Microsoft recently.  This makes the one and  only time I have ever seen a driver download on the Microsoft update page and it happened to be for my Monitor but it seemed to be the same version that came with it.

    If you are running core centre on both profiles, this will happen. Fast user switching causes CC to load again, giving the message u have and will crash XP. U need to log off one user, then switch.
    Alternativly make sure CC is not installed as a shortcut in all users. I place mine in my gaming profile only and dont use it in any other one.
    If u r not running CC, mmmm, dunno

  • Failed to load kernel because driver won't build

    Hi. After I upgraded and restarted my computer Network Manager did not automatically connect to my wireless network as it usually does. Instead, when I clicked on the icon it says
    Ethernet Networks
    disconnected (in grey so I can't click on it).
    It only gives me the option of editing VPN connections. I saw another post saying that I should set IPv6 as link-local so I went into Network Connections and chose a network that I had previously connected to and changed the IPv6 on it to link-local which did nothing.
    I then tried things with systemctl in the terminal to try and fix things:
    sudo systemctl enable [email protected]
    went off without a hitch. However, then
    sudo systemctl start [email protected]
    was met with
    Job for [email protected] failed.
    I then tried
    sudo systemctl status [email protected]
    [email protected] - dhcpcd on enp3s0

  • Boot-Up Problems, fail to load utilities

    Booting up my K8N Neo2 Platinum i often get error messages which seem to indicate that something (BIOS?) is misreading my board and not loading utilities and thinking the utilities don't go with the board.  The error messages are
    The service has not been started
    Failed to load Hardware Monitor driver
    Failed to load driver
    No hardware monitor
    Core Center does not support your motherboard (which of course it DOES support my mobo)
    Then every once in a while everything loads like clockwork.  I don't understand what's going wrong and would love to fix it.  I think the Audigy card can have some compatibility problems with some processes/components - could that be it?
    I have an AMD 64 3400+
    2 512 sticks of Corsair memory
    Audigy 2 ZS sound card
    Plextor 716A CD-DVD drive
    ATI Radeon 9600XT graphics card 256 (Diamond Viper)
    Win XP Pro SP2
    Thanks for any advice and experience anyone may have to offer

  • Sun IDM Repositor Configuration Error: Failed to load JDBC Driver

    Hi Gurus,
    I am new to Java IDM and predictably failed in my first attempt to install Java IDM in a Windows machine with SQL Server 2000 SP3.
    I followed the Installation document step by step and I think I din' t miss any!!.. But still I got caught by an error, here it is:
    I successfully installed IDM but failed while configuring Repository. I have downloaded the JDBC driver from Microsoft for SQL Server 2000, SP3. Then after that I copied the Jar from JDBC driver folder to
    %WSHOME%/bin/lib folder. After this I launched the Repository configuration setup.
    I got the following error while trying to connect the waveset database with Repository type as SQL Server (JDBC Driver)
    com.waveset.util.ConfigurationError: Failed to load JDBC Driver 'com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver':
    ==> java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver
    The Parameters that I have given for connection are:
    URL: jdbc:sqlserver://127.0.0.1:1433;DatabaseName=waveset
    JDBC Driver: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver
    Connect as User: waveset
    Connect Password: waveset
    I have created the database and granted all access to user waveset.
    Please help me come out of this. I tried dropping and recreating the database with a different name. Still it did not work, looks like it is a JDBC driver specific issue. Please guide me if I did anything wrong.
    Appreciate any help
    Thanks

    Open your driver jar using winzip or something and check if the class: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver is present in the jar. I think you need to use a different class name. or your jar file is wrong. I think there are separate jars for SQL server 2000 and for SQL Server 2005.

    You are trying to open a direct mode connection to 64-bit TimesTen from a JVM running in 32-bit mode. This is not possible. Run the JVM in 64-bit mode instead and thsi issue will be resolved.

  • UCCX 8 access db_cra from script add informix jdbc driver

    Hi,
    I want to use the db_cra database for the last agent routing from the call flow script.
    I will run a query which serach wihtin the last 24 hours which agent talked to the customer the last time.
    The problem is, that I'm not able to add the informix db into the uccx database subsystems.
    I can only select these driver classes:
    net.sourceforge.jtds.idbc.driver
    com.ibm.db2.jcc.DB2Driver
    oracle.jdbc.driver.OrcaleDriver
    com.sybase.jdbc2.jdbc.SybDriver
    But for the Informix Db I think I would need  the driver class:
    com.informix.jdbc.IfxDriver.
    Has anyone a idea how to add a driver class or how to access the db_cra from the script?
    I know that it is possible to use a differnt database (like MSSQL) and write each time a agent gets a call the data to this db and access this one for last agent routing functions. But I want to use the db_cra for this.
    thanks
    Markus

    Hi,
    there is no way to do it that way.
    You can't access the Informix DB directly from UCCX script.
    But you can use a SQL server as a middleware. So you have to setup a SQL server and add the Informix db as a linked server.
    Now you should be able to access the SQL server from the UCCX script.
    Kind regards

    we need to connect to is Informix 7.2. Since WL's jDriver can work with
    Informix, I'd assume we do not need to buy any additional drivers from IBM.
    1) Is my assumption correct?
    2) Not having worked with Informix before, what needs to be done on the
    Informix server to enable this connection?
    3) Is the WL jDriver for Informix reliable or are we better off buying the
    Informix JDBC driver?
    Appreciate any advice on the matter, thanks.

    Unless it is expensive, I recommend it.

  • 9iAS and Informix jdbc driver

    Hi,
    How do I configure 9iAS release 2 data source to access Informix database using Invformix JDBC driver? Has any one done it and can share the procedure?
    Sam

    Samir -
    I've not done this, but this is the general idea.
    btw - we ship the DataDirect JDBC drivers with 9iAS to facilitate connections to other databases such as DB2, SS, Informix, etc.
    What you want to do is:
    a) Take the JDBC library you wish to use and put it into the j2ee/home/lib directory (bounce the server since this directory is read at startup time and the classpath constructed. Dynamic additions are not picked up)
    b) Define an emulated datasource in the j2ee/home/config/data-sources.xml file using the driver class and specific URL connection string for the JDBC driver you want to use:
    <data-source
    class="com.evermind.sql.DriverManagerDataSource"
    name="InformixDS"
    location="jdbc/if/CoreDS"
    xa-location="jdbc/if/xa/XADS"
    ejb-location="jdbc/if/DS"
    connection-driver="informix.some.packaged.JDBCDriver"
    username="scott"
    password="tiger"
    url="jdbc:informix:....."
    />
    ** the connection-driver and URL attributes will be determined by the specific JDBC driver you are using
    c) Use the datasource like any other data source at this point - you should be able to lookup the datasource using the location entries and get a connection.
    If you are using the Oracle9iAS environment as opposed to the standalone environment, then the same set of tasks should be applied using the facilities provided (ie the EM console) by that distribution.

  • Can't load jdbc driver in servlet

    Dear All,
    I have tried to connect to MS SQL SERVER 2000 through JDBC DRIVER FOR
    SQLSERVER. However I receieved an error: can't load jdbc driver class:
    null.
    The following steps were what I did:
    1.Set up SQL Server and create a few tables and users.
    2.Config Server.xml
    Add the following codes in /tomcat/conf/Server.xml
    <Context path="/persistence" docBase="persistence" debug="0"
    reloadable="true">
              <Resource name="jdbc/persistenceDB" auth="Container"
    type="javax.sql.DataSource"/>
              <ResourceParams name="jdbc/PersistenceDB">
                   <Parameter>
                        <name>user</name>
                        <value>kitty</value>
                   </Parameter>
                   <Parameter>
                        <name>password</name>
                        <value>abc</value>
                   </Parameter>
                   <Parameter>
                        <name>driverClassName</name>
                        <value>com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver</value>
                   </Parameter>
                   <Parameter>
                        <name>url</name>
    <value>jdbc:microsoft:sqlserver://localhost:1433;databaseName=persistence;selectMethod=cursor;</value>
                   </Parameter>
              </ResourceParams>
    </Context>
    3.Config my web application's web.xml
    Added the following piece of code in WEB.XML
    <resource-ref>
    <res-ref-name>jdbc/persistenceDB</res-ref-name>
    <res-type>javax.sql.DataSource</res-type>
    <res-auth>Container</res-auth>
    </resource-ref>
    4.Use Datasource in my code
    package persistence.database;
    import java.sql.*;
    import javax.naming.InitialContext;
    import javax.sql.DataSource;
    import javax.servlet.ServletContext;
    import persistence.*;
    import com.microsoft.jdbcx.sqlserver.*;
    import javax.naming.Context;
    public class DatabaseAuthenticator implements Authenticator {
    private DataSource ds;
    public void init(ServletContext sctx) throws Exception {
    InitialContext init = new InitialContext();
    try{
         Context ctx = (Context) init.lookup("java:/comp/env");
    ds = (DataSource) ctx.lookup("jdbc/persistenceDB");
    } catch (Exception e) { e.printStackTrace();
    public User authenticate(String username, String password)
    throws AuthenticationException, UnknownException {
    Connection conn = null;
    PreparedStatement pstmt = null;
    ResultSet rs;
    try {
    if (ds != null) {System.out.println("Success to get
    datasource");
            } else {System.out.println("Failed");}
    System.out.println(ds.toString());
    try
    conn = ds.getConnection();
    catch (Exception e)
    e.printStackTrace();
    pstmt = conn.prepareStatement("SELECT user_id " + .........
    5. put msutil.jar, mssqlserver.jar and msbase.jar under /tomcat/common/lib/.
    When I tried to run the program, I receieved an error: can't load jdbc
    driver class: null.
    I've got no idea what's going on.
    Any Suggestion?
    Thanks in advance
    Kitty

    Hi Kitty,
    The connection you're trying to set up points to nothing :
    Connection conn = null;
    So, you receive a complaint that that driver cannot be loaded. Please read
    http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/jdbc/basics/connecting.html
    download the right database driver and use that. Good luck!
    Wouter van Reeven
    public User authenticate(String username, String
    g password)
    throws AuthenticationException, UnknownException

  • Porblem loading Microsoft JDBC Driver for SQL Server

    Hi all !!
    Well, it seems there is a naming problem for the MS Driver, when Netbeans creates server resources for the Connection Pool and the DataSource, the default name for the connection pool's datasource classname is com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDataSource, but the actual name of the class within the driver's jar is com.microsoft.jdbcx.sqlserver.SQLServerDataSource, note the 'x' after jdbc.
    I changed this and the resource is created correctly (from the admin console, it pings to the DB server), but when I try to deploy the project, I get this error:
    RAR5038:Unexpected exception while creating resource
    RAR5117 : Failed to obtain/create connection. Reason : Class name is wrong or classpath is not set for : com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDataSource
    RAR5114 : Error allocating connection : [Error in allocating a connection. Cause: Class name is wrong or classpath is not set for : com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDataSource]
    WebModule[WebApplication2]java.sql.SQLException: Error in allocating a connection. Cause: Class name is wrong or classpath is not set for : com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDataSource
    java.lang.RuntimeException: java.sql.SQLException: Error in allocating a connection. Cause: Class name is wrong or classpath is not set for : com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDataSource
    I guess I must change the name of the classname in some other place, but I searched the admin colsole and Netbeans and failed to find where it should be.
    I'm using Netbeans 5.5 and SQL Server 200 with the MS JDBC Driver sp 3.
    Thanks in advance,
    Daniel

    Thanks for your answer !!
    Yes, the datasource classname is correct in domains.xml.
    I had the driver files copied into Appserver/lib, now I placed them also where you suggested me and restarted the server.
    Now I get a different error:

    I guess it may have something to do with any of the classpathes, there is a system or environment CP, one for the App server (with prefixes, suffixes, etc, and there is another in the Netbeans IDE tools Options....
    I also tried to debug into java.io.WinNTFileSystem.canonicalize0(Native Method) just to see the name of the file who raised the exception, but I couldn't attach the BPEL debugger, it gives me this error:
    11:57:24 Connecting to localhost:3343
    11:57:24 Unable to start a debug session : Unable to connect to localhost:3343 : Connection refused: connect
    I'm using a proxy but the system settings are set to not use the proxy for localhost addresses and so is netbeans.
    How much I miss the simplicity of the old Turbo Pascal days !!
    Thanks for your help !!

  • Initialization error: Loading jdbc driver

    Hi ,
    In a file-XI-JDBC scenario, i am getting this error. "Initialization error: Loading jdbc driver 'com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver' failed: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver".
    but i have installed/deployed third party SQL driver on J2ee server thru SDM.
    Can any one sort out this problem.
    Rgds
    Sridhar

    Hi,
    try looking into the log viewer in Vsual Administrator. Usually you can find more information about the problem there.
    Also try redeploying the driver again.
    cheers,
    naveen

  • Dynamically loading and registering JDBC driver from an archive (zip - jar)

    I'm programming an JDBC driver tester.
    I have to load dynamically any driver from an archive (jar or zip) after the user uploaded it.
    I think i did it well with my ClassLoader, i can get an instance of the driver and use any method like (getMinorVersion()) but when i registering it fail.
    There is no error but the driver is not registered.
    I rode the DriverManager log (with his logwriter) and he says :
    skipping: driver[className=oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver,oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver@5439fe]
    skipping: driver[className=oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver,oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver@2b7db1]
    (two times, it looks curious isn't it ?)
    This is a part of my code :
    Driver pilote = (Driver)Class.forName(driverClass.getName(), true,this).newInstance();
    System.out.println("Minor Version = "+ pilote.getMinorVersion());
    PrintWriter printwriter = new PrintWriter(new OutputStreamWriter(System.out));
    DriverManager.setLogWriter(printwriter);
    DriverManager.registerDriver(pilote);
    System.out.println("Driver registered\n");

    I have made a simple test :
    public static void main(String[] param)
    System.out.println("Loading Driver from JAR ...");
    try
    File jar = new File("c://mbm//drivers//oracle.jar");
    URL aurl[] = {jar.toURL()};
    URLClassLoader urlclassloader = new URLClassLoader(aurl, ClassLoader.getSystemClassLoader());
    Class.forName("oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver", true, urlclassloader);
    PrintWriter printwriter = new PrintWriter(new OutputStreamWriter(System.out));
    DriverManager.setLogWriter(printwriter);
    Enumeration listDriver = DriverManager.getDrivers();
    System.out.println("[---------Drivers-----------]");
    while (listDriver.hasMoreElements())
    Driver driver = (Driver) listDriver.nextElement();
    System.out.println("->> "+driver.getClass().getName());
    catch (MalformedURLException e)
    e.printStackTrace();
    catch (ClassNotFoundException e)
    e.printStackTrace();
    This displays that :
    Loading Driver from JAR ...
    skipping: driver[className=oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver,oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver@9ec21d67]
    [---------Drivers-----------]
    D:\www\tomcat\webapps\mbm\WEB-INF\classes>
    I think there is in this case only one instance
