Insert an HTML Table tag as a value in a Tree Table

Hi helper,
Can I insert an HTML Table tag inside a TreeTable (Hierarchical data) using AdvancedDataGrid as a value?
I need to create a Tree table in flex and I have beside normal int values some cells that need to show a certain images in an HTML Table I will create.
Is it possible?

UIX table tag's attribute VALUE is missing in jdev 10g production

In JDeveloper 10g preview, I handled my table's navigation manually and need to set the table's tag attribute VALUE in order to keep the record range.
However, when i convert my project to JDeveloper 10g Production, eventhought the page is still working fine, but in the design windows will show that the uix page is in invalid state and I found that the attribute VALUE is no more supported.
Could anyone please help me and let me know how do i set back my record range? Thanks!

It turns out that you're running into a bug that will be fixed in the soon to be released version of JDev 10g. The good news is that it's a design time bug, so your pages will still work at runtime. You can even fix the bug yourself if you want. In JDEV_HOME\jlib there is uix2-schemas.zip. Inside of that is ui/table.xsd.
Add the below attribute definition inside of the complex type for the table, and you should be all set.
<attribute name="value" type="ui:unsignedIntExpressionType" default="1"/>

How can I apply new attributes to a table-Tag in an JEditorPane?

I'm using a JEditorPane as a base for a small HTML-Editor. The manipulating of the attributes of an image-tag such as href works fine. But now I want to add the width-attribute to an table-tag.
The result: Nothing in the table-tag, but other strange things (width is set to any TD oder in every cell a new table is added.
How can I do this? Any suggestions??

By the way:
If you have only a width tag in your images, does it resize proportionaly, as in a normal browser or is the height taken from the original picture, as it happens with me?
This is quite nasty, since I do not know the original picture sizes.

When I have a yellow highlighted table tag, indicating there
is not a close table tag, I can never figure out where to add the
closing table tag. Is there a handy helper tool to help you know
how to fix a yellow highlight of an open table tag in the code?

I don't know of any shortcut. Just sight reading the code
looking for
missing or duplicate tag.
a note- with table problems, it usually isn't the first
highlighted tag
that's the problem. It's an error farther down in the code
that makes the
first tag invalid with the current way the code is. And that
other error is
frequently not highlighted.
just scan through looking for missing or duplicate tr td /td
/tr tags and
see that they are in the right order.
is this legacy code from some other editor, or current newly
produced pages?

How to use tree tables with CRUD operation for begineers ADF 11g

This is Friday night call for help.
This is only few sample ressources on the web for tree table and only one with CRUD operation.
I used this one http://jobinesh.blogspot.com/2010/05/crud-operations-on-tree-table.html because this is the only one that address CRUD.
And it is shaky. Deletion works fine but insertion not very well. This is working using custom code provided below.
Depending if the user selection in the tree, the code insert from the master node to the children node.
Any other options because it is not working well.
Also where Oracle describes how to use the row, rowset, itorator API? This is really hard to understand like almost if we should not use it.
then if not how can I insert in tree with two nodes and insert in the parent or children depending the users selection.
Lately I 'been posting questions on this forum with no response. This hurts. I understand developers cannot spend their time on this but People from Oracle, please help. We pay licenses...

I am looking for a sample that describe how to design a jsf page with a tree table.
So you have Department and employees. In the tree first comes Department and if you click the node you see the employees assigned to this department.
I need to be able to insert a new department or a new employee from the tree table by clicking on a insert button in the panel collection toolbar depending on user selection in the tree.
I got part of it working but not good enough.
By problem is the get insertion working
I have a createChildren method in my AM implementation that get in input a RowIterator and selected node key.
To goal is to create new records depending of the user selection and the input parameters get populated by the binding like this:

Filter tree table

1) i have a tree table,input box & a command button. i need to put keyword on input box
then press command button it should locate appropriate node or filer data.

down and selecting one node. when i press one particular node
tree refreshing and focus going to top node.but second time i can

DETACHED MODE ON TREE TABLE

Hi,
I have an issue with detached mode on Tree table. In one of the page, I'm having a Tree table in Panel Collection with "Detach" enabled. In Tree Table, I have a column "Actions" and it has links for every record. Using these links, user performs operations like 'allocate' and 'de-allocate '.
I allocated a resource to the Tree table, now the "Deallocate" operation is allowed on that particular row of Tree table.
Now I click the "Detach" button, Tree table is displayed in Detached Mode. When I click the "De-allocate" link of Tree table, allocated resource is deallocated without issue, but the Tree table no more stays in Detached mode.
Here whenever user allocates / deallocates resource from Tree table, I refresh the tree table. I use the binding attribute to refresh the Tree table component.
Can I restrict the Tree table to stay in Detached mode, even after refreshing the component?
Please let me know if there is any solution.

do your links perform a page refresh ? Make sure the links have their partialSubmit property set to true as otherwise they perform a full page refresh.

As you say, Flash does not support html table tags. Create your own tables using textfields and if you need borders around cells use either textfield borders or lines surrounding the textfields.

Would tomahawk selectOneRadio work in html table tag

the main problem is the radio isn't in the table, it came before the table and show at the top of the table. Is if i use tomahawk tag, i must use datetable in JSF?

We have successfully used the Tomahawk radio component within a plain table using JSF 1.1 (MyFaces 1.1.5) and JSF 1.2 (the Sun RI 1.2_04). We also use facelets however and so did not use the verbatim tag.
Did you try looking at the component tree to see if it is in the correct order?
What implementation and version of JSF are you using?
Which version of Tomahawk?
Did you check the generated HTML to see if it is what you expect?

Logic for inserting values from Pl/sql table

Hi I'm using Forms 6i and db 10.2.0.1.0
I am reading an xml file using text_io, and extracting the contents to Pl/sql table.
Suppose, the xml

The tag may come in different order, sometimes some additional tags may also come in between,
So i cannot access it sequentially and insert like

The tag name is constant ir for sender id, it will always be SenderID , not something like sndrid or sndid etc..
So if i've to insert to senderid column, then i've to match the tag = SenderID, and take the value at that index in the array.
How best i can do this?

I am referring to how you are parsing the XML - as you can extract values from the XML by element name. And as the name is known, it's associated value can be inserted easily.

Line item dimension wont insert sid values in infoobject sid table

Hi all,
I have a strange problem, whenever I load data into a cube which has a line item dimension on 0customer without first loading the master data I am getting inconsistency in RSRV saying that no corresponding DIMid exists in sid table.
So there are Dimids in the fact table but the dimension table, which is same as the sid table in the the case of line item dimension, doesnt have them.
Can someone explain me why is this happening? I thought if a characteristic value doesnt exist in the master data but comes in through the transaction data it inserts the same in the sid table.
Is there a different rule for line item dimensions? Can someone point me to some OSS or documentation?

To clear up a few questions:
1. What I mean by "So there are Dimids in the fact table but the dimension table, which is same as the sid table in the the case of line item dimension, doesnt have them" is:
the line item dimension table /bic/D<cubename>9 which is really a view on the sid table for characteristic /bic/s<ch. name> does have all the sid values (or all the dim values) as the fact table.
So fact table has more entries for that dimension than the sid table.
2. Yes we are facing reporting errors where we cannot drill down by that infoobject and LISTCUBE doesnt show us any cube data when that characteristic is chosen for display.
3. I have checked notes where it seems to be a RSRV bug but in our case it doesnt seem to be as observed in the actual table mentioned in #1
Now it is apparent that I am right both from help.sap.com link and what I am observing that for line item dimensions master data HAS TO BE LOADED FIRST for the characteristics used as a line item.

The table has total different value than what I inserted!

I inserted "UID" values from 1 to 100 with preparedstatement. The code looks like this.

The strange thing is that the value of "uid" is different from what I inserted. When I use "select * from cfg2", then it shows exactly the values which I inserted. Like this.

..... Until the UID is 100.
But I can't get any special line, using "select ...where uid like '3(for example)'". So I let only the UID values be shown, using "select uid from cfg2", and then the astonisching result came. All the uid values are 77, like this.

I deleted the table and established another table with the same structure and tested again. The result was always same. No matter what I insert into "UID", the value which I got was always 77. Does anybody have same or similiar experience? Any help is welcome. Thanks.

What is your source material? Is it H.264? FCP does not work correctly with that material.
Click on a source clip in the FCP Browser, and once selected, type Command + 9 to see the item properties for the clip. Either report those properties, or take a screen shot of the item properties, and post that here.
Next, click anywhere in your timeline, and then type Command + 0 {zero} to see your Sequence Settings. Either report those Sequence Settings, or take a screen shot of the Sequence Settings and post that here.

INSERTING A VALUES IN A DDIC TABLE AT A PARTICULAR INDEX VIA WORKAREA

Can I INSERT a value at a particular index in a DDIC table via a workarea with similar structure.??
like if I have a DDIC table with four feilds and creating a internal table and a workarea with similar structure.
after fetching the values from DDIC table to our internal table and making some changes or wants to insert a values at a particular index. Then Cal I write like:
INSERT WA INTO zMARA INDEX 2.
IS IT WRITE?
OR PLEASE SUGGEST ME THE CORRECT CODE.

You can insert or rather update the row of table desired by using Primary key combination..
A Db table will have at least one primary key. So first select the desired record to be updated using
unique combination of primary key to get the row you want to modify in work area then change the
value of that field in work are and then use MODIFY db table from workarea.. Remembr you can't change primary key
If key combination is not found in DB table mentioned in work area then it will insert the row in ZABC..
Code..
consider ZABC having 2 fileds AA and BB, then consider AA as primary key.. and BB as normal field..
Consider row having value AA = 1 and BB = 2.
data: wa_ZABC type ZABC.
data: i_zabc type table of zabc with header line.
Select single * from ZABC into wa_zabc where AA = '1'.
wa_zabc-bb = '3'.
modify ZABC from wa_zabc.
if you want to change multiple lines in internal table and then update in DB table then use
Modify ZABC from table i_zabc. after selecting value of zabc in i_zabc and then change
value by loop .. endloop and then apply the Modify statement..

I Cant insert all values to the table But only Default Values r inserted?

i can insert only default values to the database. Other values are not shown in DB.
Steps I have done so far:
I have created EO based on VO and VO has the query : select * from emp. Attached to AM.
That AM is attached to the Page. The page consists of employeed details and SAVE button.
Set controller for that page and CO-PR calls create method in AM .
Default values for who columns and SLNo also set through sequence.
In CO-PFR I call apply method which commits the data.
when i run the page and giving values it is not inserted into table but only default values are inserted.
I checked with System.out.println(getattribute("my attr").toString()). It send output correctly.
But y other values are not inserted.?
Anybody plz plz help me in this regard. I am struggling with this for last 1 week. I have to apply this to another realtime scenorio? Deadline is near.

here i can get the values correctly printed in output as entered in the form.
I dont know where the problem is.

Passing values to action form in struts using html:link tag in struts

hi
As we can post values to action form bean in struts using a <html:text> tag in side a form.
Can the same be achieved by using a html:link attribute.
If not then how can this be achieved (i.e. posting a form on click of a link and populating action form bean property for the same).
