Install error FJS-00003: JAVA Add-In on AMD64 platform (NW04 SR1)
Hi gurus:
I came over an ugly error while trying to install the XI.
1. - I downloaded the corresponding software from the SAP Marketplace, as in the normal DVDs the AMD64 platform was not included.
2. - I copied the CDs for the EXPORT and the JAVA-Engine to one directory each, respective called export and JavaDVD. In directory JavaDVD I had to modify the LABEL.ASC file to be later accepted.
3. - I installed the ABAP WAS 6.40, unicode version. Everything worked ok. Also the post installation tasks could be carried out without problems.
4. - I wnated to install the JAVA Add-In. Everything starts fine, but the installation stops with the following lines in "sapinst_dev.log":
ERROR 2006-08-17 18:34:33 [iaxxejsbas.cpp:170]
EJS_ErrorReporter
FJS-00003 TypeError: fmgt.getNode(listOnCD) has no properties (in script InstallationScript_265, line 8607: ???)
TRACE [iaxxcwalker.cpp:301]
CDomWalker::processStep()
No way out - I can only stop the installation.
The respective lines in the install script are:
8591: var sdaPath = installer.getCD("J2EE-ENG")+"/FS";
8593: // OS400 needs its own kind of pathname
8594: if (installer.onOS400()) sdaPath = os4_convertPath(sdaPath);
8597: // fill table with SDA which are to be deployed
8599: deployUnitsTable.remove();
8601: var listOnCD = sdaPath+"/DEPLOY.LST";
8603: var sdaList = new Array ();
8605: var fmgt = new FileMgt();
8607: var fstream = fmgt.getNode(listOnCD).getFileStream("READ");
... (blank lines deleted)
I can not heal that problem, I only understand that such a file does not exist! The directory has the following files:

SOLVED
hi peers. Finally I've got an answer from SAP. The file was simply missing from the distribution! I created it in the corresponding subdirectory:
I:\JavaDVD\J2EE_OSINDEP\J2EE-ENG\FS\
with just one line of text in it:
TC_SEC_JAVA_CRYPTO_FS_LIB.SDA
This solved that problem - the step could be carried out without any more problems.
BTW: What I do not understand is that the file was missing. Not only from the downloaded media, also from SPA's original DVDs. No such installation can work....

Java Install error 1603 on Java 8u45
I am having issues getting Java to Install on a Windows 7 Pro PC in a stand alone environment.
Error Code 1603. Java is needed on this PC to be able to print shipping labels from FEDEX.com. I am trying to install using the administrator account. I have removed previous versions of Java. I have removed the MS updated KB2918614.
The java uninstall tool doesn't run because Java is required to run the java uninstall tool. I have run multiple Microsoft Fixit Tools. This is the second PC I have had this error with in this office. Does anyone have any thing more to offer that
might assist me. I have "Google'd" this error for 2 weeks now. Help would be greatly appreciated, Thank You!Hi,
According to official site of Oracle, This is a known issue with Microsoft KB2918614The root causes of these errors are under investigation. If this error still persists after uninstalled this update.
You could try following zooeyhall’s suggestion to download and install a previous version of Java or try creating a new administrative user account and install Java with the new account.
https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/78ac199b-316b-4fbc-8b2b-2c90e5425ff0/java-install-errors
Regarding to JAVA installation error, I’d suggest that we post at JAVA forum for further support. There you can get more effective suggestion by other experts who familiar with it. Your understanding is highly appreciated.

ECC 50 DI Installation error-FJS-00003 TypeError: f has no properties
Dear Experts,
Earlier we had local installtion of ECC50 (DEV/TEST and PRD-CI) with SQL2000 DB, WIN2K3 EE OS.
We want to install one new application server i.e. PRD-Dialog Instance, so we have kept all the systems on domain (changed from Local to Domain).
We performed below activities to put all systems on same Domain.
1. Down the systems
2. Changed Domain
3. Created SAP users SAP<sid> and sapservice<sid> on DC with Global&local admin rights
4. Changed owner of both SAP services with newly created domain SAP user SAPSERVICE<sid>
5. Updated Host file entries
6. started Servers with Domain user <sid>adm , it is up and running.
Now we logged in with new application server with <sid>adm domain user and started Dialog instance installation thru sapinst.
After inserting installation drive, in next step it throws below error.

Tuxedo 9.1 install errors with InnovationTargetException Java Error
Hi Everyone,
I have weblogic 9.2, tuxedo 9.1 and tools 8.49 installed on my Vista machine with no problems. Now another guy at the office is trying to install and when he trys to install tuxedo it pretty much closes immediately with the innovationtargetexception java error.
We have tried comparing his machine to mine and so far everything pretty much looks the same. I have java 1.6.03 and he has 1.6.05 but I don't think that is the problem.
Does anyone have any idea why he would be getting this java error this early in the install?
ThanksFor Vista Home:
1. Check the compatbility on exe file
2. set the registry values
3. Install the tuxedo91_32_win_2k3_x86.exe
4. Success
--- More infor--------------
Open tuxedo91_32_win_2k3_x86 properties & check the compatibility mode.. I changed into Win Serevr 2003 mode.. I avoided above LAX error.
Try creating the registry entry

Installing the Java Add-In for an existing abap system
Hi, Currently we are Installing the Java Add-In for an existing abap system.
Following the steps (Installation guide):
1) We sucessfully installed the Central Services Instance (SCS)
2) We sucessfully Installed the Database Instamce Java Add-In
Our problem comes in the third step
3) Central Instance Java Add-In
When the system prompts me the SAP System Identification (Select the central instance of your local host).
I have a combo with two values: DVEBMGS00 of SAP System DEV and DVEBMGS00 of SAP System DEV
(The same value)
I chose anyone, and click next.
The system send me an Input error and says "Caught EKdException in Module call: single select return more than on row"
Any help is appreciated, and I will reward points if helpful.
RegardsI followed an advice made for a sap consultant, and delete some profile files.
I had the following files
DEFAULT.1.PFL
DEFAULT.2.PFL
DEFAULT.BAK
DEFAULT.PFL
DEV_DVEMGS00_bsomtymx005
DEV_DVEMGS00_bsomtymx005.BAK
DEV_SCS01_bsomtymx005
START_DVEBMGS00_BSOMTYMX0
START_DVEBMGS00_bsomtymx005
START_SCS01_bsomtymx005
after to delete the files, I have the following files
DEFAULT.BAK
DEFAULT.PFL
DEV_DVEMGS00_bsomtymx005
DEV_SCS01_bsomtymx005
START_DVEBMGS00_bsomtymx005
START_SCS01_bsomtymx005
Then, I restarted the installation, and the sapinst allow me to continue with the installation.
I really do not know if the installation will be sucessful, but this issue is solved.
Thanks shanji, I was working in another tasks, but with your help, I will try to resolve again this problem, and found the solution. -

i don´t know exactly what to do now? should i edit the xml file or what can be done?
or am i wrong with my assumption, that the system´s reference to the group isn´t valid?Hi,
i had the same problem too.
Actually i'm installing the "Sneak Preview SAP NetWeaver 2004 Slim Edition (Java)" on Windows 2003 DomainController. In this case the relevant settings are stored in "<Location_Of_SAPINST.EXE>\ADA\control.xml", which is being copied to "<SAPINST_INSTDIR>\j2ee_wp\installdefault\" during installation.
Before i started a new installation i searched the original "control.xml" for String "LocalAdmin".
I replaced:
'name:<u>host</u> + "
SAP_LocalAdmin"'
with
'name:<u>this.getDomain()</u> + "
SAP_LocalAdmin"'
and
'name:<u>host</u> + "
SAP_" + this.getSID() + "_LocalAdmin"'
with
'name:<u>this.getDomain()</u> + "
SAP_" + this.getSID() + "_LocalAdmin"'
The installation is still running at the moment, but far behind that point where the error always came up.
For me it looks very good.
SAP says installation on a DC is not supported, which not means that it would be impossible.
Remember to edit the "control.xml" at it's original location BEFORE you start the installation.
Good luck,
Philipp Kammerer -
How do you do the java Add-In installation either on NW04 or NW04s when the ABAP stack is on the latest support package level when compared to the support package level on the media you use to install the java Add-in.
Hi Bharath,
For a Java Add-In you would first need to create a new client on the ABAP side
which would be used during the Addin Installation. For more info please see the
guide @
http://service.sap.com/instguides -> Netweaver 04 -> Installation -> Web AS ->
Documentation -> Database -> Web AS.
As for the Patch levels, it will not be an issue as you
can patch the Java components later using SDM.

In sapinst I must decide for abap or java central instance. first, i install the abap central instance, i use the following p.a. sapsid ->sp7 and dbsid -->sp7. the install of abap central instance is complete successfully. SysNR00. Then i restart sapinst and i choose install java central instance with a new sapsid --> sp8, an the same dbsid --> sp7.For Java was create the following SYSNrs: JC1 --> 01 and SCS --> 02. Should I install the webdispatcher in sapsid SP7?
The following dbschemas was created ABAP --> SAPSP7 and for JAVA SAPSP8DB.
Thanks,

Livecache on MAXDB AIX install error
Hi
Currently we have an SCM DB running on Oracle(DSC) and a livecache system (DLC) running on MAXDB on our AIX server. I have installed another SCM DB on oracle (SCD) on an NT. The livecache system will be running on the AIX server mentioned above on MAXDB (I know this isn't SAP best practice, but I am not the architect of these systems).
I installed the livecahe back in Dec05, and it failed. I was told to unistall it (again not my call), which I did.
Now I have to install it again, and when I go to install it, it fails almost immediately in the "Database server account Creation" step with:
the file /sapdb/LCD/db/pgm/kernel not found
when I ignore this error, I get the following error:
FJS-00003 TypeError: linkTarget has no properties (in script InstallationScript_112, line 6383: ???)
Has anybody seen this?
Thanks in advanceHi Roland
Thanks for the prompt reply. I really appreciate it.

You might be right about me uninstalling the instance correctly (at least it would make sense). Should I try to uninstall it again??
As for your last question, YES, I am trying to install a livecache db on an AIX box that already has an SCM db running on it and the associated livecache DB. So when I am done, this server will have 1 SCM db and 2 livecache databases.
Thanks again for the help

Was Java Add in installation error FJS 0003
Hi all
does anyone have an idea about the following problem?
I am installing Java Add In on AS/400 platform. SAPINST termitaes with error:
FJS-0003 Output is not defined.
I cannot understand what's going on.
Hints are really appreciated.
P.S. Was ABAP 6.40 is already installed on host.
F.V.Hi,
i had the same problem too.
SAP_LocalAdmin"'
with
'name:<u>this.getDomain()</u> + "
SAP_LocalAdmin"'
and
'name:<u>host</u> + "
SAP_" + this.getSID() + "_LocalAdmin"'
with
'name:<u>this.getDomain()</u> + "
SAP_" + this.getSID() + "_LocalAdmin"'
