Instantclient linux installation fails

Question

Hi Guys,
I want to use unixodbc with instantclient.
<makipc> isql -v databasename
[IM004][unixODBC][Driver Manager]Driver's SQLAllocHandle on SQL_HANDLE_HENV failed
[ISQL]ERROR: Could not SQLConnect
Segmentation fault
tnsnames.ora should be okay, since it works from windows
odbc.ini:
[databasename]

Driver = OracleODBC-10g
odbcinst.ini
[OracleODBC-10g]

I tried to google the error message, but couldn't find any usefull info.
Whats wrong?
By the way, is there any log what's instantclient driver doing?

I'm having the same error.
Debian Linux (Sarge - 2.6.8)
