Interal document links messing with display...?

I created a eBook with many internal document links in Acrobat with a PDF file exported from Indesign CS3. When I open it in Digital Editions and start using the links, the layoout of the books gets all screwed up. Anyone out there have any experience with this or suggestions?

Matt, some features of .pdf files are not supported, and I'd be willing to
bet that your messed-up layout is among those features. I'm not 100% sure,
though. You can check ADE Help for more info, and if that doesn't help, you
can call Adobe and start a support case....

I've got Office 365 subscription (E3) with Office.
I can view and edit OneNote notebooks on Office 365 via browser, but can't open it in OneNote.
The similar problem exists for OneDrive for Business - some libraries are syncing, some cannot - asking for Enter credentials, but when I click - nothing happens.
There were two accounts bound to Office 2013 - personal Microsoft ID as primary account and corporate Office 365 linked to it.
Windows 8.1 corporate profile is linked to Microsoft ID account as well.
Something happen with these accounts after password was changed - it seems like some account information was cached and can't be cleaned.
I tried to uninstall Office and install it - no success.
I cleaned computer with
this utility from Support - no luck.
On other Windows 8.1 computer I created new profile (with Microsoft ID account) - surprise, there are problems there as well.
I deleted all Office15 entries from Credentials Manager - Office asked me about Office 365 login/password - I entered them, it is syncing, Haliluja, but, when Microsoft ID account was linked to Office 365 account in Office - problem appears again.
It seems that Office 2013 uses Microsoft ID credentials for Office 365 content.
I'd like to use Microsoft ID as primary account for Office and link Office 365 account to it, but don't want such problems. It worked fine, but I don't know what happened and how it can be analyzed and fixed.
Update: It seems I localized the problem, but still don't know the solution.
Scenario to reproduce error for me:
1. Create fresh new Corporate/Domain user profile on Windows 8.1 with Office Pro 365 installed on computer with latest updates
2. Go to SharePoint Online and browse some Libraries and OneNote notebooks - all ok
3. Start to sync them using OneNote and OneDrive for Business - ok
4. Link Microsoft Account with Corporate Account in Windows 8.1 - ok
5. Syncing of _some_ (not all) Office 365 libraries and notebooks stop working - errors with access, permissions. I'm trying to enter credentials but this doesn't help
6. Disconnect Microsoft Account and Reboot - all libraries and notebooks of Office 365 work fine again. But OneNote notebooks from OneDrive stop working :)
How I can fix this situation and have Microsoft and Corporate account connected?

Update 2:
I installed PowerShell for SharePoint online cmdlets and found this user using get-SPOUser.
I removed this user using remove-SPOUser -site
https://mysitename.sharepoint.com -LoginName
[email protected]
but when I'm trying to access sharepoint from the browser with Microsoft account credentials - new record for this user is created again and I can see it with get-SPOUser :(
So, problem is still not solved - this user is still can be authenticated (there is no such user in SharePoint site collection, there is no such user profile) and Office 2013 syncing doesn't work for Office 365 due this mess with accounts.
I know that I can remove Sharing with external users from Site Collection and information about these users will be permanently deleted - but I don't want to do this, there are several customers who work with our documents.

Issues in displaying upload document link in publisher taskflow

We are trying to do a feasibility analysis on the upload document feature of publisher taskflow, but are facing issues.
The Attach : File link is not getting displayed along with the publisher taskflow. The Attach: Link option alone is displayed.
Below are the steps i did to try out.
1. Created a new webcenter Portal application using JDEV 11.1.1.6
2. Created a new JSF file under /pages.
3. Dragged and dropped a publisher taskflow from Resource Pallete.
4. Set the username parameter to #{securityContext.userName}
5. Created an UCM connection in Application resources.
6. Deployed the ear to server.
7. Made sure the UCM connection is active in the EAR. (verified through Enterprise Manager)
8. To make sure the connection is proper, used a document presenter taskflow to display images from UCM in the same page
On running the application the publisher taskflow and the document presenter with images are getting displayed on the page. But the Attach: File is missing. Only Attach: Link option is available.
Am i missing any other configuration here?
Requesting help is solving this issue

Had to update adf-config.xml to have an try for <doclibC:spaces-repository> as below

Display messing with my Macbook's Airport?

Can display mess with the Airport? I've had a long litany of complaints over the last month https://discussions.apple.com/message/15926716#15926716 Now after reformatting my hard drive the next thing Apple's service center is doing is changing the display. Can this be it? Anyone have a similar experience?

The Airport hardware is in the display assembly, so changing it requires changing the display.

Help with BW Document Link, please.

I posted the following question in Business Exploer section with no response. Can anyone here helps?
If I created documents in rsa1 for basic cubes, these documents show up fine in BEX query property.
But this function does not work for ODS or Multiprovider. I created documents for ODS and Multiproviders and verify they exist after saving them. In BEX, open 'Query Properties' and click 'Documents', no document is availabe.
Can anyone help? Strange thing is it works for basic cubes but not ODS or multiprovider.
I went through RSA1 'Document Administration' and did not find anything unusal.
Any help is appreciated.

Is this a Basis thing?
Does BW Documents Link depend on Knowledge Warehouse?

Yet again you have managed to "fix" something that was not broken.
Creative cloud has been nothing but aggro since I installed it, wish I could stay on CS5......not that that is much better mind.
I have created documents with the fonts installed before I swapped to CC, now when I open them it replaces the font with default Myriad and the correct font has gone from my fonts menu. Why? the fonts are obviously already installed otherwise how would I have created it in the first place?
Please sort this out Adobe, your products used to be the industry standard. Now they are just SUB STANDARD with no competition, and most users feel they are being short changed because we don't have any other option. Not really good enough is it?

Problem with display of check boxes in 10.1.7

We create PDF versions of our infopath documents for users to download. Several users who have upgraded to 10.1.7 report that any checkboxes or radio buttons come out flat and blank. They display fine in 10.1.6 and older and version 11. Only 10.1.7 seems to be affected. Any one else seen this issue?

We can change a setting on our tool to add the fonts to the file and then they start working again but file size doubles.

According to your description, my understanding is that the add new document link was not working on machine where Office web apps set up with this SharePoint server after you upgraded SharePoint team sites
from 2010 to 2013.
For your issue, it can be caused by integrating Office Web Apps with upgraded SharePoint Site.
Firstly please make sure claims-based authentication is used by the SharePoint web application that is used to create the new document. Only web applications that use claims-based authentication can open
files in Office Web Apps. To determine the authentication provider for a web application, follow these steps:
1.In SharePoint 2013 Central Administration, click Manage web applications.
2.Select the web application that you want to check, and click Authentication Providers on the ribbon.
The authentication provider must be displayed as Claims Based Authentication for Office Web Apps to work correctly with the web application. To resolve this issue, you can delete the web application and recreate
it using claims-based authentication, or you can change the authentication method of the web application.
Secondly, make sure the WOPI zones match on the SharePoint 2013 and the Office Web Apps Server farm.
To do this, run the following command on the SharePoint Server:
Get-SPWopiZone
The result will be one of the following:.
internal-https
internal-http
external-https
external-http
Next, run the following command on the SharePoint Server.
Get-SPWOPIBinding
In the output, look for WopiZone: zone. If the results from Get-SPWopiZone don’t match the zone that is returned by Get-SPWOPIBinding, run the Set-SPWOPIZone -Zone cmdlet on the SharePoint Server to change
the WOPI zone to match the result from Get-SPWOPIBinding.
If not work, you can try to disconnect SharePoint 2013 from Office Web Apps Server and re-configure Office Web Apps for SharePoint 2013.

Open Document Link on PO Approval WF

In the PO Approval Workflow, if you have the proper responsibility, an "open document" link is displayed that, when clicked, takes the user to a screen entitled "Notifications to Releases".
This function is available to our Purchasing Super User responsibility but is not available for the Purchasing Approver responsibility. I'm trying to change that.
Using help, I determined that the form associated with "Notifications to Releases" is POXPOERL. That form is assocated with the following functions and menus:

I've tried, under Functional Developer, to add several of these to the menu for Purchasing Approver. When they show up on the menu and I click them, I get a message stating: "You are not setup as a buyer. To access this form you need to be a buyer."
All I want is for people to be able to see and use the "Open Form Command". Am I going about this the wrong way?

I was probably not clear enough in my original question.
We want people who are approvers - but not necessarily buyers - to be able to open the form from the link. I'm not set up as a buyer, but I have the Purchasing Superuser responsibility and I can open the form.
I guess, bottom line... some more information on how to make links to eBiz forms work from WF would be helpful. I've not found much in the Oracle-supplied documentation that we have; I've read what's in the Developer's Guide and the Admin guide. Can anyone suggest a web link or two that might shed more light on the process?

But when I click on the "Manage Document Links", I couldn't see my custom integrator to associate my word document with my integrator.
I could see only the standard integrators.
How to get my custom integrator in "Manage Document Links". I could see my custom integrator in define layout but not in this page.

I could follow all the steps, except the following,
The reason is, when I click on Manage Documents Links, I am not getting my newly created integrator.
If I link a standard integrator "HR People Details" to my document, that is opening properly.
But I am not able to link my document with my integrator(which is based on my view).
c. Now link the template letter to the Letter Integrator and Layout.
If not already done so, Add the function WebADI Manage Document Links to your Web ADI menu, and give it a prompt of Link Document.
Select Link Document option , and Web ADI Mail Merge page displays. Choose your Letter Integrator. Link it to the Layout, and a list of template documents uploaded to the database is displayed. Select the template letter to be linked with the layout.

Word document links won't open in IE 9

I got a user who cannot open up a word document link in sharepoint online that should display a word dialog box basically in IE 9. When clicking, nothing happens even if pop up blocker is off, but he can access the word documents from the link in Firefox.
I also found out that I am able to open it up under my windows profile on that machine so it must be a corrupted windows profile.
I reset IE
Cleared cache
Verified in registry in class roots that .html is set to htmlfile
Anything I can do besides redoing the user's windows profile?

Can you try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away? You can restart in Firefox Safe Mode by either:
* Clicking the menu button [[Image:New Fx Menu]], click Help [[Image:Help-29]] and selecting ''Restart with Add-ons Disabled'', or;
* Holding the '''option''' key while starting Firefox.
If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme, or hardware acceleration.

Test results showing how FCP7 running on 10.6 messes with gamma

I've been running some simple tests to determine how FCP7 handles gamma when running 10.6.4.
Note that 10.6.4 now uses a gamma of 2.2 natively (as do PCs).
I created three images in targa, png and tif (also tried exr, but FCP won't read that) that contained squares colored in different shades of gray, solid colors and mixed colors.

When I brought these into FCP, the results were not good.
FCP changed the gamma considerably on them, so that all the colors were WAY off (127,127,127 became 145,145,145)
I was able to ALMOST fix this by applying a gamma filter (NOT the gamma correction filter, totally different) with a value of .82.
Now, in a 0.255 scale, my values were only off by one.
However, that is a massive color shift for anyone dealing with color management.
1. Is there a way to bring in an image sequence so that FCP does NOT tamper with the gamma?
2. If I must gamma correct, is there a 3rd party plug-in with more significant digits? I need more digits than .82.
I also did some testing on Quicktime.
QT10 is a total mess. When I output to a non-self-contained mov (after gamma correcting), it was WAY off.
QT7 is on the mark and matches what VLC shows.
The same goes for outputting to H.264. QT7 = good, QT10 = BAD.
I suppose I'll experiment with Compressor now to see the proper values to get ALMOST back to my original colors.
Hopefully I'm missing some hidden setting for 'give me back my original gamma'.
BTW - you can open the images I supplied in Photoshop to see the correct values.
Using the 'digital color meter' included with 10.6 is a quick way to determine the RGB values that are displayed on the screen in FCP, QT and other programs.
And a value of 127,127,127 is just an absolute value, doesn't really matter if you have a $10K reference monitor to display it on (although, I'm sure the same RGB values would look different on the reference monitor).
BTW, FCP7 and 10.5 also mess with gamma.

As I had such dismal results with getting h.264 from FCP7/Compressor to match my input colors when viewed in VLC and the Quicktime player, I decided to try using Premiere CS4.
Both Premiere CS4/AME and FCP7/Compressor produced h.264 that was pretty far off when viewed in VLC and the Quicktime player7, although CS4/AME was a bit closer.
As my final output is often intended for the web, I decided to try the same files when displayed using the latest Flash player.
The results were interesting.
The Premiere CS4 results were all within 1 value of being correct. 127,127,127 would end up as 126,126,126 - and the same for the other shades of grey and color combinations.
But the FCP7/Compressor display was a disaster. 63,63,63 displayed as 81,81,81.
127,127,127 displayed as 144,144,144.
So, at least for Flash viewing of videos on the web, FCP/Compressor just couldn't produce accurate colors, they were all WAY off.
I'll have to try the same tests for DVD and BluRay.
BTW - this is the very simple image I used for testing (this display is a png, I used a tga for the actual tests to eliminate any possibility of a color profile getting embedded by mistake).

Show 'Text' Document contents instead of using Document Links

I have a requirement from my customer that requires comments to be stored and display both on the planning layout and display instantly in query.
I am aware that documents which type other than text is stored in BIN form, so my first approach is just to assume to work with document with type 'TEXT'.
I am aware this can be partly achieved by using the document links, but are there ways to get round of using document "links"? We want to show instantly the content of the document when the layout is opened and when BW query with the right combinations of characteristic values are displayed.

Yes, for bex, it works only in workbook.
Check F.Group: SKWF_CONTENT. There are many FM for documents which you can use.

For the BW Web, you can searh in how to paper from Tobias Kaufmann. Or search for Doc: "WEB API REFERENCE". In that Doc, search for the topic: 'WEB DESIGN API FOR TABLES'. There you will get all info needed, about how to enhance BW Web application designer.

Document.links[0].onclick getting is null error in firefox 9 working fine below version 9

in js I have written following line of code to navigate back , home pages. this code works fine upto version 8 but not working in version 9 and above
