Intercompany Implementation Options (in Projects) vs GIS

Our company is project based and we utilize the intercompany billing between OUs. We've defined our Provider and Receivers in our Project module Implementation Options. We don't import any other non-Oracle intercompany transactions via interfaces. We've defined our AutoAccounting rules and clearing accounts. Can you tell me what we are doing differently than in GIS? What is GIS ?

If these are full size images, you really don't need to go above 300 ppi. I would save as TIFF or PSD unless you have a compelling reason for not doing so. JPEG applies compression every time you save and close the image, so you'll want to convert to another format for working anyway, and storage is cheap now. (There's a difference between ppi and dpi, although scanner makers ignore it. You want the highest possible dpi when printing, but the human eye cannot distinguish much difference when you go above 300 ppi. If you want to make extra sure, go to 600, but that's not going to provide more useful information to a printer, really. Mostly just a much larger file size.)
I would also scan in color. When you scan in greyscale you are saving much less information, and you might want that someday.

  • Update set of books in implementation options ??

    we are doing project setup[ in one of the test instance , How ever while doing thta in implementation options set of books is saved incorrectly and now it is freezed (not able to change the set of books field) ..Navigation setup -->system-->implementation options-->Systme Tab
    can we update this set of books from back end ..and if we do where all can we get an impact ..!!
    any suggestions ..

    Though the form field only updates the SOB in the pa_implementations_all table. It is not advised to do backend updates. I would advise to log a SR and propose your strategy which the Oracle Dev team will analyze and may approve it.

    The decision to which should be used in which scenraios.

    Inter project billing may be used within the same operating unit.
    Intercompany billing may be used only accross operating units.
    Inter project billing means the provider organization is charging a separate provider project.
    With intercompany billing provider organization is charging the same project as of the receiver organization.
    With inter project billing the provider project may bill the receiver in any billing method as any contract project. With intercompany billing the billing is based on transfer price rules which may be only applied to actual expenditures of the provider organization.

    Ways to find the exit triggering in the source code:
    1)first way
    1) If you hav that FM exit that was listed r used.
    2) go to se37 and type that FM
    3) In the source code of that FM double click the type of Message or
    exit result which has the Z<include>.
    4)IN order to disable the exit->
    utilities->system->sattus->program->attributes->package
    find this package
    5) in SMOD->Prject->F4help->giuve package name-give the found ones
    But here we cant see the implementation.
    2) second way
    1)goto SE37
    2)Give FM name
    3)/h(Debugging on)
    4) Display
    5) Break points->statements->(messages if used in exit)->execute
    Click on f5 until that Exit is triggered
    6) go and find out for each type of exit message shown ie til that exit functionality is
    actually triggered
    7)once u find that exit ur looking for->
    8)GOTO->SOURCECODE->give the include name that is found in debugging when exit is encountered
    9)copy this include name(ZX..)->keep a comment forthat exit in this include(ZX..) inorder not to process.
    10) se38->Zincludename(ZX..) and comment the code.
    11)save check n activate
    ->SE37->
    FM->name
    we can now view FM.
    3) third way
    1)FM->Name
    2)/H
    3)Break point at CALL CUSTOMER-FUNCTION statement
    4) It will stop at this exit.

    The function spec will be preparedf by respective functional consultant in the Implementation as well as in the support project.
    For example
    The requirement is related to SD,Sd consultant need to prepare.
    Functional spec is the formated document which communicate to technical consultant about the requirement.
    The functional spec template will be changed company to company.
    In the Implementation and support the format of the document i.e objective of the document will be the same but the requirements will be differ.

    SAP Implementation: SAP Implementation is the whole of processes that defines a complete method to
    implement SAP software in an organization. It is based on best practices and case studies from various
    literature sources and presents a collection of processes and products that make up a complete
    implementation method to allow any organization to plan and execute the implementation of SAP (ERP)
    software.The SAP implementation process is made up out of four main phases, i.e. the project preparation
    where a vision of the future-state of the SAP solution is being created, a sizing and blueprinting phase
    where the solution stack is created and training is being performed, a functional development phase and

  • Bug: Menu option "Build project" is disabled

    I have "Build automatically" disabled due to the poor compiling performance of FB (my project has hundreds of classes), and have instead attached a key binding to "Build project" to trigger a build manually.
    Unfortunately this option is very often not available, although I have made changes in the project (and saved them).
    Yet right-clicking the project, and selecting "Build project" does a build then.
    Obviously there is a bug detecting when a build is required or not.

    Build project is disabled if you have no project selected in the package explorer/navigator.
    Unfortunately, the logic for detecting the project associated with what objecthas focus is not implemented well in Eclipse (see https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=201650)
    That means that if you go to Problems view or switch between editors in a certain way, Build Project gets disabled.
    The short of it, it is an Eclipse bug and has been fixed for 3.6 (which is what the next version of Builder ships with).

    For existing projects, which are maintained with 'No project stock/Non-valuated stock' u can't change to 'Valuated stock'.
    When you create a new project, initially u can chose whether to manage with valuated stock or No stock/non valuated stock. Once u save the project, u can't make any changes

  • No option in project info window for code signing Provising profile.

    Dear Developer forum,
    I have one issue wth my application regarding provisional Profile.
    I have installed Distribution certificate.After that I have entered all information regarding distribution provisional profile in program portal
    I have got provisional certificate from portal.I have installed it
    And I have also seen its entry in home/library/mobiledevices/.
    But Now problem is arising at place when I am opening my project or target info window on that time in BUild->code signing option, I have only code signing endity but no code signing provisioning profile.
    where I can give my distribution provising profile name
    So anybody tell me howz it come????

    Make sure that you've done all the steps... "Generating a Certificate Signing Request", "Submitting a Certificate Signing Request for Approval", "Downloading and Installing iPhone Distribution Certificates", "Create and download your iphone distribution provisioning profile"...
    When I went through this process, I think I forgot to do the step "Downloading and Installing iPhone Distribution Certificates"... (skipping straight to "create and download your iphone disbritution profile") as a result the provisioning profile name wasn't appearing for me to select... When I completed that step, then the provisioning profile name appeared...

  • Webservice implementation options and their performance ranking?

    If I am to to implement a webservice from/to SAP ERP,  I consider I have at least 3 options:
    1) Without PI - generating webservice from an RFC enabled wrapper function module (or bapi) inside SAP ERP
    2) With PI, exposing a WS using RFC adapter in PI that uses an RFC wrapper fm (or bapi) in ERP
    3) With PI, exposing a WS using ABAP proxy in ERP where the proxy uses non-RFC wrapper fm (or bapi).
    Using ABAP proxy is recommended (instead of RFC adapter) for syncronous interfaces between PI and SAP applications I have heard, but still wanted to take RFC adapter as option.
    Does anybody have experience about performance comparison in these options, if you have tested them all? Such a test must use same context e.g. using BAPI_CUSTOMER_GETDETAIL and you should have a client that can use them all (you probably have different wsdl for each and your client must calculate/trace response times. I know it is possible to monitor response times inside XI, but practically absolute response times can be calculated only in the client.
    To be honest, I am more interested in hearing performance difference between generating WS from ERP directly or from PI. Options 2) and 3) are just PI variations. But if you have tested options 2) and 3) as well please let me know.
    I was thinking of testing all scenarios myself, but if you have experience already, then you would save my time.

    I think you have other options too.
    4) Create a service interface and implement the enterprise service in the backend.

    The option 1 that you mentioned and option 4 (That i have mentioned) will be of comparable performace.
    From a performance stand point, option 1(or 4) will be the fastest (at least in theory ) as we do not have any mediating system.
    But from a standards perspective, the option that i have suggested, is better (Read mre about SOA concepts to appreciate this more).
    General suggestion is that we should not be using PI for User- machine integration (which is your case).

Now I woujld like to change those chosen page layouts, but the setup options for the project are no longer available for me to change. How can I update the original chosen page layouts (for performance management) to different layouts or change the chosen layouts to the default (blank) layouts?

    It all began inside the settings of my Sanyo VPC-HD2000A when somehow the selection got switched from 1280 x 720 to that other setting with so-called 25fps. Also, I don't know whether the mishap occurred before or after I took my new footage.
    I edited the clips last night and now they are on my blog and channel and they seem ok but slightly fuzzy.
    I used a Sanyo VPC-HD2000A .7x wide angle lens with macro and I notice that when I zoomed in to the little sun conure, the picture blurred. I think that might be something that happens when one zooms the focus.
    Also, I was born and raised to a teenager in Hawaii, but now Southern California has me in its grip.
