Invalid Orphaned Document User

We are running into an issue where my scheduled Library Maintenance task is unable to reassign orphaned documents. The user is valid. If you notice, there is a "g" where the username should be. The user is named gwadmin. Here is the log...Any ideas?

Awesome. Local GWCheck works when you specify a user that is on the same post office as the library. The server task does not work even though the user is on the same po. Is this a confirmed bug?

According to the xml schemas, the xml document is invalid. The reason is: Error::cvc-datatype-valid.1.2.1: '' is not a valid value for 'decimal'.

Ummmm Vikas,
Lemme bring out a better picture, so u get more clear on this one.
The developer has upgraded an already deployed BPEL process.
Since then, she has been facing problem. When she invoke those process they simply end up as faulted with a yellow color ! mark.
Now i as an admin, i tried everything to help her cos she escalated the issue to me, thinking maybe there is sumthing i could do to assists her.
Now i am not sure, how to help her, but yes i started with the logs. Both the oc4j container log for SOA and the domain log show the similar error.
But till then, i didn't know black and white of it. so i tried doing all testing possible from my end.
When i check on the faulted instances i see there is a Assign activity after Transform followed by Invoked being highlighted in red color. and when i clicked on it i get to see the error

The main problem was we were observing many SOA inactive threads in one particular database, and they keep building up minutes by minutes.
I suspect, that in the code connections were open but were not closed, there4 there were inactive threads in the database.
I had to stop the SOA application, to stop threads from building up. I guess they got build up when they were invoked. There is definitely some fault with the code. or tell me am wrong. tell me its sumthing else.
However other domains processes were working fine.
and oh, yes the developer also made changes in the database. when i asked her to revert back and see if it works, she say thats a huge amount of work.
Finally she end up saying that maybe it could be a problem with the new version.
Now as a learner, I want to know what is going on, and how do we go about solving it.
Am not much of a SOA techie. that u can make out. but yes ready to learn things. so there4 i beg you to explain to me like am a standard 3 or 4 kid. any more information needed plz feel free to write back.

Is the users table is in pointbase db or sql server, in the exception it looks like it is looking up in pointbase db for users table. check you connection @jc:connection data-source-jndi-name of your database control.

Invalid XML Document in BPEL Human Task - TaskService

I am getting the following run time error in BPEL console in my bpel process which has got a human task.

BPEL console is validating all incoming and outgoing XML document against the relevant schema since the configuration property, validateXML has
set to strict in the BPE console domain, which it has to be.
This complain is regarding the element expirationDate in the response message of the human task, which cannot be explicitly set in the bpel process.
Please help me to resolve this issue.

Invalid XML document can be inserted

Hi,
I'm using Oracle 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.1.0.4.0. I have a schema based (XSD) database where I'm trying to insert invalid document and it works :(
Here is an extract of the schema :

If I put a XML document with invalid data like "<quantity>230</quantity>" I have not error message from Oracle. The XML is inserted !
Is this error corresponding to "Bug 4329431 DBMS_XMLPARSER ignores errors while parsing invalid XML document" or is it another bug ?

Try doing a search on schemaValidate() in this forum. The gist of it is that you need to invoke the schemaValidate() method. By default we do a lax validation that checks things like mandatory elements are present etc.To perform a full schema validation use a trigger or procedure to invoke this method on the XMLType

I get the same error when installing connectors. Installed both the SUN DSE and MS AD Base connector now and see this error several times during installation.
Installation says is succeeds though.
Will move on to creating the IT resources now to see if they actually work.

I assume that I'm getting this error because Event Flow Dispatcher does not understand the schema as it's defined in an xsd file and Sensor Edge cannot find the xsd.
Can anybody help me with this. Where can I put my xsd file so that Sensor Edge can access it.
One solution is to define the schema inline in the BPELProcess.wsdl, but I do not want to do that for some particular reasons.
Please help!

Nimish, I don't have an answer to your question, but have a question for you. You talk about having the schema inline. Is there a way to have the wsdl document generated so that the schema is produced inline, instead of using a reference as in your case? If so, how do you do it?

Invalid pdf document

I get an error screen saying "INVALID PDF DOCUMENT" when I can see that it isn't.

Im trying to open up a photoshop document but when I click on it it says "Its an invalid photoshop document". Is there anyway I can fix this?

This error is telling you that this file does not contain the information required of a PSD. There are basically one of two things going on here: 1) The file is not a PSD, but is instead a JPEG, TIFF, or some other image format, it simply has the wrong file extension. 2) The file is corrupt and is missing contents.
In the first case, you can try changing the file extension to different formats and retry opening until you find the right one. In the second case, you will have to get a new copy of the file (if someone supplied it to you or you downloaded it) or refer to a backup (if one is available). In the case of a corrupt file, if the file was downloaded originally, it may not have completed downloading. Same if you copied from a disk or from a network source. If this was a locally saved file, it suggests another application on the computer interfered with the file creation process and resulted in an incomplete file. Such applications that are known to cause this type of behavior are antivirus (and other security software), backup solutions, and encryption. Additionally, bad RAM or hard drives can also result in this behavior.

Cancel Billing document User Exit

Hi,
The requirement at our client is as follows:
In transaction VF02, if the user selects to cancel the billing document "Menu: Billing document->Cancel", then we need an user exit to check that, for a particular pricing condition if an accounting document exists. If so, then put out a message and stop the cancel from happening.
Are there any user exits that get triggered specifically when cancelling a billing document so that I will have access to VBRK, VBRP and KONV data to read table BSET?
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

In configuration of the billing document type, there is a section for 'cancellation'. In this section, you can enter a copying requirement. In that requirement(probably your custom one), you can write the logic for your purpose. You can see this configuration by following the path
IMG--> Sales and Distribution
       -->Billing
          -->Billing Documents
             -->Define Billing Types
                -->Define Billing Types
Once you select your billing type and do the display, you will see this section in there.

1) I'm reading all document attribute characteristic values of the layout new lines from the user exit.
2) I've created one variable for each "document attribute characteristic"
3) I've created "COPY DOCUMENTS planning function" and included variables in the parameter group
4) user exit in step 1 fills all variables (fills only 1 value at a time) & passes to "COPY DOCUMENTS parameter group"
4) due to restriction of only single entry variables usage in
"COPY plannig funciton", I'm using "API_SEMBPS_FUNCTION_EXECUTE" and executing "COPY DOCUMENTS planning funciton" as many times as number of new lines
5) if there are 6 new lines, user exit in step 1 loops 6 times & calls "API_SEMBPS_FUNCTION_EXECUTE" 6 times which inturn executes "COPY DOCUMENTS planning funciton" 6 times
Am I on the right & effective path?
Is there any better approach?

Hi,
This is one way you can do that. The bad side of your implementation is that the planning function is called 6 times. It would be better to copy the coding of the planning function and modify it in such a way that you can do all of the steps in one go. If the performance is all right I would still leave it the way it is as then you do not have to change to coding.

Document user status not changed from follow-up document

Hi gurus!
My task is to set new user status of primary document (service order) from follow-up document (task) after follow-up document is created.
To do this I've created Badi-impl. of ORDER_SAVE Badi and in PREPARE method when saving newly created follow-up task I'm setting new service order user status using 'CRM_ORDER_CHANGE_STATUS' function. sy-subrc = 0 and, moreover, when in SAP GUI I'm pressing "Back" button I see new user status in service order. But after I'm pressing "Change" or re-open the service order - I see the old user status, so nothing happens at all.
Why could it be?

2. If ok - CALL 'CRM_STATUS_SAVE_OW' passing relevant header/ item GUID

Invalid Credential/Disabled User

Hi,
I have a requirment of capturing the message "Invalid Username/Password" or Disabled User on the OAM Login (Enterprise Login Page). For example -
I have 2 applications which are protected by the same authentication scheme and they are SSO enabled. If a user tries to access those applications will be challanged by the Login Page. If the user puts the wrong password or user name over to the Login Page, I should be able to caputre that message and show a message to the User saying that "The username or password provided are wrong". Similar is the case for the Disabled users, so if the userid is disabled and the user tries to get in to the application he should get a message "Your User ID is disabled" on the Log in Page. Is there any way I can achive this. Is it a Out of Box functionality of OAM or I have to write any custom scheme for this. Please help me on this.

Awesome. Local GWCheck works when you specify a user that is on the same post office as the library. The server task does not work even though the user is on the same po. Is this a confirmed bug?
