Ios6 calendar not showing event indicator

After upgrading to io6 my calendars app has gone a little mad. Normally when there is an event on a day there is a small black dot below the date to indicate the event. However after the update the events are still there but no indicators. Really difficult to see which dates I have free and which are full.
Any ideas?
Yal

I am having issues with calendar as well, except after loading IOS 6 I have lost all my data before the middle of August. I am quite frustrated as those entries were important references. I have tried syncing with my desktop iTunes and fiddled with settings etc. to no avail. I sure hope there is a fix for this!

  • Calendar not showing events in spesific views

Some of the iOS users in my organization reported back to me that calender events that covers more than 1 Day only shows the event on the first day. (except on whole day events) while using the Month or Year view.
This bug is verifed on serveral iPads running the last iOS software(inkluding my own). I have tested both with our Exchange and iCloud calendar.
Example: One event starts 9am monday and ends 4pm on friday.
Both week and year Calender view will only show the event on monday, but no event thirsday to friday.
    Is this a known bug?

    Melanie,
I would suggest two things, one small and one bigger.
1st, try quitting iCal, then deleting iCal preferences in your User Library: ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iCal.plist
If that doesn't solve the problem, Back up Database (File menu). Export each calendar. Delete each calendar. Then import the ones you exported.
Note: Actually iCal won't let you delete all of them (it has to have at least one) so just rename one so you can delete it later.

  • Ios 7 calendar does not show events 2 years in the future

Why does ios 7 calendar does not show events 2 years in the future?
I've entered the events more than twice and it all shows up in the OSX calendar but not on my iphone.

Just tested it works even 3 years ahead.
Tap Calendars (bottom, middle) is All iCloud selected (tick mark)?

  • Shared Office 365 calendars not showing up in iCal

We are using Microsoft's Office 365 and have users with a variety of devices and applications (Mac/iCal/Mail, Windows/Outlook, iPhone, Android, etc.).
I am the administrator of the Exchange accounts. I have created four calendars that are viewable by everyone within our organization (just general "company-wide calendars").
Users with Outlook are able to view those shared calendars just fine. However, I'm not able to add the shared calendars with users using iCal.
If I add them as a delegate, they can see all my calendars, but if I just share the calendar, they get a "no access" error.
Here's where I'm setting the shared calendar permissions. I've tried setting them as Reviewer, setting the Default as Reviewer, and setting them as Owner.
Because it works fine in Outlook, I'm wondering if it's an iCal problem. For cross-referencing purposes, here's my issue at Office 365's community: Shared calendars not showing up in Apple iCal

Hi All, after much trial and tribulation, this works for me on BusyCal. It is an app you can get on the apple store.
Calendar should be created then shared with the busycal user. The link does not work, but add exchange account as you would on  Mac Calendar under preference>accounts. The go to the sharing tab and  click plus and type in email of person who shared calendar. It will auto populate. For some reason it does not work under delegation in Mac Calendar
The  key and where I spent 4 days on the phone with apple and office 365, is  that the owner of the calendar has to share their calendar, named  :"calendar" They can just click the permission "show availability only."  Once they do that, any other calendars they have created and added you  as full permissions or details, you can see. I see nothing on their  calendar called "calendar"  Not the perfect solution, but it works. BusyCal is $30
If this does not make sense feel free  to message me or I will respond here.

  • Exchange 2010 calendar not showing on outlook 11 Mac

Exchange 2010 calendar not showing on Outlook 11 Mac on my iMac. It shows fine on iPhone and OWA.

Since this question is about a Microsoft product, you might have more luck getting suggestions if you ask in Microsoft's own forums.

  • My calendar widget shows events from several days ago.

My calendar widget shows events from several days ago instead of displaying the current day's events.

    Hi Bernard,
I've also had a few strange errors while making iOS apps - odd popup errors 'like the ones your getting' would appear saying something unrelated to the real issue.
Take another look over your code around the area where you think the error happens, I had a left over 'playdone' command copied across from a large block of code (very sloppy) - anyway it cause the same type of problem
I find It's better to go off the error messages from your dir code on the mac - then the iOS projector errors.
    regards

  • IPhone 4 iOS 4.1 - Calendar App List View Not Showing Events Immediately

After upgrading to iOS 4.1, whenever I open the calendar in List view mode the events do not show up immediately. I have to navigate to the "Day" style or "Month" style before I can see any events. All the events are viewable normally in both the "Day" & "Month" style calendar but the "List" view.
I regularly sync my iPhone with iCal events and with Google calendar. I did delete and re-added the Google account but the problem persists.
Has anyone faced this problem? I will be doing a full restore again today. My wife's iPhone 3GS is working fine with the 4.1 build of 3GS.

    Hello all,
I have the same issue with my iPhone 3G under iOs 4.1 (8B117) with one local calendar and three Google calendars. The first time the Calendar application is loaded, if it opens in "List" view, no events are displayed. Switching to another view is enough to get the items back. In "Day" and "Month" views, the events eventually appear after some time (~5 to 10 seconds).
My boyfriend has the same problem on his iPhone 4 under iOS 4.1 (less annoying because of multi-tasking).
Hopefully this will be fixed in iOS 4.2... :-S

  • Month and Week Calendar view - does not show events that span days?

In the weekly and monthly calendar views, if you have an event, such as a show or an appointment where you will be out of town for several days, the view will only show the appointment for the first day, and not for the entire event life. For example, in MS Outlook, if you schedule an event that begins on Date 1 and ends of Date 2, spanning several days, the calendar will show the date range as blocked off. Does the calendar in CRM do the same? If so, is this a setup parameter?
Also, with the calendar, is there a way to have the small calendar in the left panel show the days with a scheduled event to be bold or somehow indicate that there is an event on that day?

    According to CRM Support
CRM Support wrote:the ability to block off a multi-day appointment in the Weekly and Monthly Calendar Views is not currently available on our product. However, we have submitted this functionality to our engineers as an enhancement request. At this time we are unable to provide an estimated time of implementation while this request is being analyzed and processed.
Simple things seem hard for the Siebel guys.

  • After Maverick, calendar not showing time of event

on Friday, my OS was updated to Maverick and now my calendar displys the events but no time on the month view. To see time of events I have to go to week view, which I do not like at all... Anyone knows how to get this resolved? The preferences doe nto give me that choice, at least as far as I can tell. Thanks for the help.

To see event times in month view, you can either make the Calendar window bigger, or, if you want to keep the window small, you can add the time to event titles.
(IMO, Calendar works best as a full screen app.)

  • Past events on my calendar not showing on my iPhone 5s

So I just started using iCloud to sync all my calenders...
My iMac and iCloud show events in the past (few years prior) but the events dont show up on my iphone. I have changed the settings under Calendars for "sync" and set it to all events. Still they dont show up.. Im looking to see events about 2 months prior....
I have tried a reset and no luck !!!
    please anyone help ?

double check that u have all calendars checked in the calendar app.
as for troubleshooting, u can try turning calendars off in the icloud settings of the device and then back on. if it asks u to keep, keep. if it asks u to merge, merge.
u can also try hard resettings the device. hold down power button and home button at same time until u see an apple.
if neither of these work then ur calendar events are probably gone unless u have them on some other program/email/device. if u do then u can just sync them back onto the device from there.

  • Family Sharing Calendar not "sharing" events among family members

    Hi,
I'm hoping someone has a similar issue and can shed some light.
I've setup a Family with myself as the organizer.
We have 2 iMacs, 1 MacBook Pro, 3 iPhones, and 3 iPads used by my three family members.
The "Family" calendar now shows up on all devices but events made on a single device are not showing on any of the other devices.
I've read all I can find and it appears to me that the "Family" shared calendar should sync across all family members without the need to "share" the calendar as we did in the past.
Can anyone confirm that is the case?
As a quick fix I simply "shared" the Family calendar (using email address's of the family members) and it is working, but this is essentially the same way we used to share a calendar.  Just doesn't seem to make sense to me.
Thanks in advance for any insight!
    Jim

I am having the same problem. I have done some testing and have found the following:
If I create an event in the Family Calendar on my Mac it shares it with all devices; however, if I create a new event in the Family Calendar on any of my iOS devices it doesn't share with any of my devices including my Mac. This has only been an issue since I upgraded to iOS 8.1.
I hope someone can help clarify if this truly is an iOS 8.1 issue and when they might come out with another update. This is a big problem for families trying to stay up-to-date with each others schedules.
    Thanks.

  • Calendars not showing up on iPhone

I have 3 "On My Mac" Calendars on my iPhone and one Calendar that is listed under my Google account name so that it syncs with my workplace's google calendar. Everything works great on my computer, and events add in any calendar show up on my iPhone.
The problem is, when I add a new event to my iPhone iCal, only the three "On My Mac" calendars show up, and not the one linked to the google account. This really does me no good! It means I have to add to a different calendar, sync to my computer, then switch the event from one calendar to another before it will sync with google. I add so many events everyday, I'd go crazy trying to move all of them.
How do I get ALL of my Calendars to show up in my iPhone so that I can add events in that calendar?
    thanks

    Help?

  • Why does my calendar not sync events created on my iphone

When I create an event on my iPhone 4 and then sync it to my MacBook, the event is not showing up in iCal.  I have "Sync all Calendars" checked in iTunes under info when my phone is connected.  This problem just started after I installed Snow Leopard.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
        1.    First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
        2.    Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
        3.    If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings.

  • Google Calendars not showing up on iOS 7 after deletion and re-entering of information

This issue started when I was trying to get a shared Google calendar on my device. When I deleted the Gmail account completely and re-entered information, none of the Google calendars would show up. The calendar sharing is enabled from the Google account. I know that for sure because I can see them on Calendar on my mac. CalDAV does not work.
    iPhone 5c
    iOS 7.1.2

I had a similar problem as you and went through the different suggestions with no success. What did it for me in the end was a simple "reset all settings" under Settings app -> General -> Reset. You will have to reconfigure a few things e.g. wifi password, wallpaper setting, ringtone etc; but you will regain access to your calendar sync.
(I updated from iPad 2 with iOS 6.1 to iPad Air, used the back up and restore option. The old gmail calendar (which used the exchange protocol) appeared but I soon realised that all the new events I added since then were not synced to the iPad air, i.e. the iPad Air is only displaying all the calendar items that were already there in the iPad 2 but it's not actually synced to the Google server. I then deleted the exchange account altogether (as I realised Google stopped supporting the exchange protocol in new devices), and tried to set up a new CalDAV account via the instructions by Google, and this is how I ran into "no calendar showing" situation)
