IPhone app login- registered with Facebook but no ...
How can you login the app with Facebook? I don't know the password (wasn't given one and the one from FB won't work), I don't know my Microsoft email (have a Mac), can't get Skype to send an email with my password (I have the Skype name), and I've purchased 3 months of US/Canada calls. How do I make the app work????????????? So frustrating - it seems nothing Windows related works!!! That's why I have a Mac. Thanks in advance for any help.
Please....anyone know how to shut off the tagging feature? I like faces and the ability to use iphoto w/facebook however everytime I view a facebook album in Iphoto it retags all the photos. My kids are getting ****** at me... ) :

A friend used my pc to check his Facebook account, and used my account. Now, my pc thinks I am he whenever I try to register with Facebook. I didn't catch the mistake until recently and have been trying to delete the info but cannot. I tried to access all of my security settings and even tried to erase the history but I don't seem to be getting anywhere. I believe he mistakenly commanded my pc to remember his username and password. I am not currently registered with Facebook, but would like to be but I am having this problem. Is it significant or not? I don't want his info crossing with mine because of my ips numbers or something like that. He also, without my knowledge, accessed his e-mail, too. His username seems to pop up even if I try to "Like" something on Facebook. This is when I noticed the problem. Then, when I tried to Register with Facebook, I was mistaken for him. The registration boxes come already filled in with his info. I do NOT want to invade his privacy. His entire profile comes up complete with friends, pictures, etc...Please help! I cannot make a 'save' disk since I don't know exactly when this happened and I've loaded new programs, including security and related files.
I am very happy to report that my server connection tech, which I called via landline, informed me to : 1. Open Tools 2. Scan down to Clear Recent History 3. Delete All. That was it! Unbelievable! Six hours of searching through the Windows catagories. I checked the results on an internet site, and viola! It was gone! Mozilla Firefox seems to remember the usernames and passwords irregardless of the option window that asks if you if want it to remember the user and password. I finally got in touch with my friend and he said he did not answer yes to the window, even though he was aware of it. No damage. I surely do appreciate everyones' concern in this, now what seems to be, a very simple solution. Cudos to Firefox! Thank-you! P.S. I now have to enter my information at the beginning of any password protected sites...no harm done! My friend is now condemned to the 'user account' site! lol...

did you turn 'find my mac' ON your MBA BEFORE your it was stolen? if not, you will not be able to do anything to the stolen MBA

Yes, if you have iCloud set up on your phone and computer, then reminders will be synced through iCal.

If you received you phone as part of the contract then surely from a legal pov your contract is with 3 not Apple unless you bought Applecare, if you bought your phone outright then put your 3 SIM into it then yes you'd have to visit an Apple store with your phone's purchase receipt.

Keep on talking to Vodafone and keep pestering them until you get a satisfactory answer. Whether you get a 3G signal or not, is entirely the responsibility of Vodafone India because they are your carrier/phone company and nobody here can help you with that on a public user to user technical support forum.
Contact Vodafone as they are the only ones who can help you. -

My iPhone was connected to a wifi internet when I tried to activate it and when I tried activation by iTunes I was using my laptop with windows 7 which was connected to internet by cable.
I updated my iPhone to IOS 7 when I was in Egypt and I had no problems with updating it and I can't remember if finding my iPhone option was on or off before updating to IOS 7 and as i understood from searching internet that to use iCloud Finder on web from computer to find my iPhone it should be set up already on my iPhone and I didn't set up iCloud on my iPhone before and my Apple ID wasn't verified for iCloud till today, I verfied it by logging in iCloud from a friend iPad.
I was considering already the option that my iPhone has been hacked but if this happened so how I would unlock my iPhone and activate it to back to work? who would help me with that? I'm so tired of being without my phone for almost 4 days and I started to consider not having any Apple product anymore... I think that this way to secure the consumer has a lot of conflicts... -

I opened "find iPhone" app on my iPad Mini and my iPhone location is correct, but my iPad Mini is showing up at a past address 2000 miles away on the East coast. I have never even taken this iPad to that address. Any ideas?
You can't.
If its not a universal app, you are stuck with the phone version unless you buy the HD version.
Look for the 2x button on the screen with app open. -
Mac Locked through the Find my iPhone app having issues with unlock
I was testing out the Find my iPhone app and locked my 2013 MacBook Air running OSX Yosemite thinking that it would just lock the computer and show a pretty message or something. Unfortunately that's not quite what happened.
When I turn on the MacBook and hold down the option key it asks for the 4-digit pin I made when I locked it. (I know what the pin is). If I don't hold down the option key then it just skips to the message in the 3rd image.
Once the pin is entered it asks to select which partition to boot up. I select Macintosh HD. (My Windows 7 partition seems to be working fine.)
Then the Apple logo appears with a gray background (something I would expect from Mavericks) and this message pops up momentarily before the MacBook shuts down. It doesn't show up long enough for me to select any of the options.
Has as anyone else had this problem and is there a solution available?the lock screen you are seeing is not the Find my phone remote lock screen but the firmware password screen. Preventing unauthorised access to Start up options. Restart normally and see what happens.
If you get the same message, boot with the options key again and choose Recovery 10.9. Once booted open Disk Utility and Repair Permissions and Disk.
Restart.
Failing this you could be looking at booting again and reinstalling OS X either from a Time Machine backup or a fresh install.

I have an iPhone and lot of apps on it. All of them are syncing with iPad, but I want to see only HD apps on iPad. So, can I forbid to install iPhone apps on my iPad?
Thanks for answer!You just click on the iPad while connected to itunes, then click on the apps menu on the iPad in iTunes and you can select deselect which apps are synced. It has a drop down on the apps page to let you sort by date, device type, etc. There is also an option that prevents autosyncing of new apps.

First, I read the video data, the user selects, and store it in "MovieData" (it is NSData). I checked it and the NSData-object really has the value data of the video. Then there is a post function, which makes the upload (it worked before I included the video upload).

Open Activity Monitor, Show:>All Processes, sort on CPU%, see if anything using too much CPU% when this happens, click on Memory tab, do you have many Pageouts?
Open Console in Utilities & see if there are any clues or repeating messages when this happens.
