You should be able to restore your iPod touch back to its factory defaults by restoring its software using a special mode known as "recovery mode".
To do this, see the following Apple support article:http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808
IMPORTANT: Performing a recovery mode restore will cause all content to be erased from the iPod touch.

How do I enter an iTunes U course code in iTunes on a PC? My teacher gave me a course code to enroll in their course (unpublished), but I don't have an iPad or iPhone. Can I use iTunes on my PC? There are two kinds of content available, "courses" and "collections". If you look at the iTunes U section on the iTunes Store, you'll note some are square (collection) and some have a faux wire binder and tabs (course); you can subscribe and watch collections from within iTunes, but courses only work on iOS.
The content you see in iTunes on your PC are "collections", while your teacher has created a "course". Collections are more like podcasts, with only audio or video episodes available. Courses have more structure and richer content, including assignments and iOS-specific materials like App Store links and Pages documents.
While the distinction is not particularly relevant for iOS users – one can subscribe to either type – it is admittedly confusing for desktop users since the distinction and terminology are not explicitly defined.

If you enter the wrong passcode six or more times, you'll see a message that says one of the following:
iPhone is disabled
iPad is disabled
iPod touch is disabled
You can also set your passcode lock to wipe the device after 10 unsuccessful attempts (Settings > General > Passcode Lock > Erase Data)

I have remote locked my mac using find my iPhone app via my iPad - I am unable to enter the unlock code as the mac keyboard won't pair with the mac - I guess that will teach me for playing...any ideas?
Thought so - ace - find my phone really needs an unlock function. - another £40...

I am trying to use Itunes to move my data from my iphone 4s that was backed up on my Macbook Pro. I keep getting an error code backing up from ITunes to new Iphone 5s:iTunes could not back up the iPhone “Karen’s iPhone” because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on the iPhone before it can be backed up. On the Iphone it keeps telling me to add another network. I have put our home network on the Iphone. When I put the passcode in the phone does not give me enough time to put my Apple ID password in and it shuts off. Help!

2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY. -
Enter verification code from iPhone
When renting a movie on AppleTV, it's asks for a verification code. I'm using my iphone as a remote. My code is 3 digits but there are 4 boxes. There is no way to navigate to "submit" from my iPhone (using as remote). I tried entering 0 and then my code but that didn't work either. Anyone else have this issue and solve it?

The number pad would not let me type in a 1 2 3 for my 4 digit code. After numerous tries, the phone now says iphone disabled connect to itunes. When I connected to itunes, it asked for the code which I was unable to enter. Help!
Open iTunes on computer, connect iPhone to computer with USB cable. Hold both Home and Power buttons on iPhone until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode. This usually takes about 20 seconds of holding both buttons. Restore the iPhone Firmware.

The home screen is the screen that shows all of your app icons. You can have one home screen or up to 11 home screens depending on how many apps you have. The home screen on an iPad is the equivalent of the desktop screen on a computer. If you are using an app, just tap the home button once to return to a home screen.

Ill try ti clarify. I was looking at the Find my Iphone app on my Ipad whan i was called away. When i came back, my sun had pressed "Lock this iphone"on one of my devices (My wifes Iphone)
This wouldn't have been a problem as it was for the fact that My wife doesn't use a Password on her Iphone. (So there isn't a correct combinatien to enter)

Forget iPhone password, when connect to computer "iTunes could not connect to the iPhone because it is locked with a pass code. You must enter pass code on the iPhone before it can be used with iTunes."
You have to restore it using a computer with iTunes per the knowledge base article above.
With iOS 7, if you have Find My Phone turned on you can login to iCloud from a computer and send an erase signal to the iPhone to clear it...that will erase all content and settings. -
I rebooted my Iphone 5S, when I pressed the home button to enter my pass code the resolution must have been reset. The font size is so large I can not enter my pass code. How can I resolve this issue?

After you get into the iPhone, Settings > General > Acessibility and set Zoom to Off.
