i downloaded a game on my computer(itunes) and it dosent want to go on my ipod nano(the newest one mulit-touch )there is an option ipod games and i dont know how to download ipod games from the app store i cant find it!

I have an 8GB 4th generation iPod nano, I've downloaded a game for it and cannot sync it to my iPod. The game shows up in my itunes library in the applications tab, but not were the games tab is. I also don't have a games tab under my iPod in the devices tab. I've tried to drag and drop,but to no avail,as well as manual and auto synchronizing. If anybody could help with this I'd greatly appreciate it.

some games aren't for the nano... just to make sure you downloaded one that's compatible, what's it called?

Ipod nano game not working

i had phase and the sims dj which cost alot to buy and now they dont work since i synced my ipod in itunes do i get a refund cause its not fair

What happens when you try to play them? Have you tried a hard reset of your iPod or a restore of it in iTunes?

Is there a way to "reset" the games "played count" on the 5th Gen iPod Nano

I was just looking through my new iPod Nano (16 GB), and happened to select
all three games (Klondike, Maze and Vortex), but never played them, just looked and then
quit out of each game. Now I have a "game played" count on all three games.
I'm not sure if I may hang onto this iPod Nano or possibly look into an iTouch.
If I sell this new one on eBay, I would like to know how to reset the "game counts"
back to 0 or the original "default" of no game counts showing.
Any help would be appreciated.
By the way, why would Apple even need to show a "game played count" on any of
the iPod Nano games ... very weird.

I think the only way you can reset play counts on games is if you do a full restore of the ipod. But, then again, if you plan on selling it on ebay, it'd be probably be best if you do the restore, that way it'd be like opening a brand new ipod for the new owner.
As for why Apple would want to keep track of game counts...I have no idea.

I know it was possible to download ipod nano games on itunes. But now I can´t find anything. Did apple take them out or what is the reason for this?
Is it possible to download games somewhere else or would this be illigal?

Apple took out the click-wheel games over 2 years ago. If you can find and load them there is nothing illegal about it.

How do you know which games/apps on the iTunes store are for iPod Nano 4G

I am new to iTunes and was wondering if there is any way to determine if a certain game can be used on my iPod other thatn gioing through all the games and clicking on them to find out what the requirements are for each individual game.

or you can just go into the itunes store, click the drop down arrow next to app store. click on 'ipod click wheel games right at the bottom and those are the only ipod nano games. but if you want free ones click here because the ones in the itunes store are £3.99 pls rate this as correct answer thx

How do I find games for ipod nano 3rd generation

I cannot find games for iPod nano in iTunes even though all the support keeps telling me to select iPod nano from the Source list. There is no source list, no games tab, nothing that leads me to the iPod nano games. When I click on apps, and just go to a game, they are all just for iphones, ipads or ipod touches. This is frustrating. Any help would be appreciated!

I believe that a few really low quality iPod games were distributed as freeware a long time ago, however you're much more likely to find malware infested web sites than any genuine source if you go hunting for them, and you'll still be disapointed with what you find. If you want games get an iPod touch.

Downloading Applications to a IPod Nano 3rd Edition.

Hello to everyone out there.
I purchased my IPod Nano a few weeks ago and I downloaded free IPod Nano games (applications) to my PC/Vista software. I can not figure out how to transfer (download the games/applications) to my Nano. The games are listed in the applications folders on my ITunes main page in the upper left column. When I click on the my IPod in the left column under devices their not is a upper column in "my ipod" such as summary, music, games, movies etc. I tried importing the files with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

If you click on the links to any of those free apps, you'll see, in the descriptions, "Requirements".
For example, the top free app at this moment is Wikipanion. *Requirements: Compatible with iPhone and iPod Touch. Requires iPhone 2.0 Software Update.* If you check, you'll see they all say that.

Ipod nano purchases are gone

I purchased games for my ipod nano 4th generation. After synching ipod on new WIndows 7 PC. My Games are gone.
There is no way to even purchase games from itunes store for ipod 4 any more. Just Apps for ipads and iphones.
How do I get back my ipod nano games like Asphalt 4, Tiger Woods Golf, and Pac Man (which totally sucked)

The iPod is backed up before the sync, but if your bookmarks were on the computer, and not the iPod, there won't be any there in the backup file.
You can try to restore from the backup, but I fear they're gone.

IPod Click Wheel games compatible with ipod nano 5th Generation

I've found the iPod Click Wheel Games by clicking the triangle that appears next to the "App Store" tab and clicking the third option, "iPod Click Wheel Games." But when I look at the details of any of the games it says they are compatible with:
"This game is compatible with iPod nano (3rd and 4th generation), iPod classic, and iPod (5th generation) only. It cannot be played on your computer, nor is it compatible with other iPod models or iPhone."
Does this mean that I cannot use them on my iPod nano 5th generation? or is the iPod nano being referred to as "iPod (5th generation)"
I guess it just seems silly that a game is only compatible with older versions or that the newest iPod nano can NOT operate older games.
Can anyone explain this? or has anyone tried to download one of these iPod Click Wheel Games and found that it actually Does work for an iPod nano 5th generation?

Why does the 7th generation ipod nano not have games

I want to know why the 7th generation ipod nano does not come with:
1- games
2- voice memo

1. The iPod Nano runs the Pixi operating system, not iOS and has too small a screen for displaying the game and controlling it.

4th gen ipod nano - can't find games for it on itunes

I have just purchased a 4th gen ipod nano for my son and he wanted some games. Went onto itunes and purchased Crash Bandicoot Nitrokart game for £3.49. Couldn't get it to transfer to nano - but then noticed it's sitting in Applications (iPhone and iPod touch applications). Then went back into game and see that it says requirements are for iphone and itouch. Why did apple allow me to purchase this when I rgistered the nano when I setup itunes? Have searched for other games but all say the same requirement. Where can I find games that will download for nano? I have itunes 8.01 and ipod software is up-to-date
