Is Hybrid Connection supported for API APP?

If one is building a custom connector using API app, most likely, one would have the need to access on premise resources, web services or SQL. Hybrid connection seems like the perfect fit here to enable for API app.
Since it's available on Azure Website and AMS, it is currently also available on web app and mobile app, why not enable it for API app?

Use node.js for API Apps

From the description for API Apps, it appears as though node.js is supported, but there is no documentation on how to use node.js. The existing documentation shows how to use Visual Studio and c#. I understand this is a preview, but was wondering
if I can bring over a node.js app that has been built using the hapi framework. If not yet, will node support be expected prior to GA?

You can definitely implement an API app in Node.js. We'll add articles and samples soon. Following is what you can do.
Create an empty API app from Azure portal. It's in the +New button. In Azure Portal, you can navigate to the API app blade, then navigate to the host of it from the essential UI to its hosting web app.
Use your favorite Node.js framework to implement your REST API. Add an apiapp.json file to the root folder of your project. Configure it as show in "Review apiapp.json" section of

For getting Swagger 2.0 in Node.js, you may want to check out

Unable create Connection pool for Oracle apps Adapter.

We are trying to create a connection pool for Oracle Apps adapter in 11G SOA suite.
However during the process getting the following error:
An error occurred during activation of changes, please see the log for details.
A <jndi-name> is specified for the resource adapter bean in weblogic-ra.xml, however no <resourceadapter-class> element is specified in ra.xml
Can any one help us on this.

I have configured BizTalk Services Hybrid Connection between Standard Azure Website and SQL Server 2014 on premise.
Azure Management portal shows the status of Hybrid Connection as established.
However, the website throws an error when trying to open a connection

Can you drop iOS 4 support for an app already in the App Store? What iOS version is good to target?

Now that AIR supports the MinimumOSVersion key, apps can set a specific minium version they will support. It wasn't available before, so it ended up in the app store with the default of 4.0.
Any device that AIR supported had to have ARMv7 anyways and I believe all ARMv7 iOS devices can update to at least 5.1.1, so would it be an issue with apple to drop iOS 4 support? Any device that could get the app before can upgrade to iOS 5+ for free to support it.
Only a small portion of people are still running iOS 4, and I get the feeling that most of those are folks with ancient ARMv6 devices that can't upgrade past iOS 4 and could never use the app anyways due to ARMv6. So why bother with testing for iOS 4 and possibly having to give iOS 4 related tech support?
If supporting 5+, is it a good idea to target 5.0 or 5.0.1 or 5.1 or 5.1.1 or what?

Any of the non-user generated resources is in the tmp or Cache folders (which are not backed up) on mine, so that shouldn't be an issue in my case.
I looked at the wiki for iOS 5 and i didn't see any developer-related features other than that 'do not back up' thing that were added between sub-versions of iOS 5, so maybe I should target 5.0?
I'm still wondering, how do you handle dropping older versions of iOS? Surly developers can't be expected to maintain support for discontinued versions of iOS forever just because their app has been around for awhile? Apps eventually need to advance and use new OS features and require performance of current devices. Just set the MinimumOSVersion key to 5.0 or whatever and that's it?

TimesTen Cache Connect support for Oracle 11g

The latest 7.0.5 readme mentioned that "Oracle Release 11gR1 is supported with TimesTen Cache Connect to Oracle on Linux x86 32-bit and 64-bit platforms, and on Windows 32-bit."
What about Solaris 10? It looks like on Solaris 10 only Oracle 10gR2 being supported. What is so specific about Oracle 11?

TimesTen 7.0.5 can be used to cache data from different versions of Oracle database.
The reason why the support for Solaris, AIX, and HP-UX were not at the same time as the Linux platform was because Oracle database 11g was not available on those platforms initially. So TimesTen 7.0.5 was certified to support only the ones available first, and support for other platforms was added as 11g became available on those platforms. It was just timing of the certification, code base is the same.

First, those are two different App Stores. The App Store app on your Mac is for the Mac App Store, apps for Macs, apps for OS X. The App Store app on your iPad is for the iTunes App Store, apps for iOS devices.
Many folks are reporting an issue connecting to the iTunes servers with their iPads for updates. I had 9 updates yesterday and had no such issue on my iPad 4. Some have used the work around of going to their Purchases List and updating each individual app that has an update from there.

ITunes Connect - contract for free Apps delay

Please can someone clarify if the App submission for a free-app is delayed by 'Pending contract'

How much is the 'charge' ? You aren't charged for downloading free apps (though some then allow you to make in-app purchases in them).
Did you add or change your credit card details on your iTunes account ? If you did then each time that you do so a small temporary store holding charge ($1 or approximate local equivalent) may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - it should disappear off your account within a few days or so.

Did you made share of /usr/sap/ or /sapmnt to you application sever.
if yes, then you have to just upgrade the kernal in CI & not in Apps
If no, then you have to manually upgrade the kernal on CI & apps.

Apple does not have an intutitive process for refunds, but I have gotten one me emailing customer support when I bought an App that falsely advertised its functions, so you might have some luck that way

Wireless connection speed for J2ME app on Palm VIIx device

I have just developed a J2ME app on Palm VIIx device. Everything works exactly as what I have designed, except that the wireless communication to send and receive infomation is painfully slow. It takes about 1 min. to send and receive 300 charactors on the Palm VIIx device. As for comparisons, it only takes few seconds on the simulator(connected through LAN/WAN) for the same application. And for other defaultly installed non-J2ME wireless applications on the Palm VIIx device, e.x., ABC News, Amazon, etc., it also only takes few seconds to retrieve 500~600 characters.
Does anybody know why the J2ME wireless communication on Palm VIIx device is so slow? Any solutions?

You've done nothing wrong with your code that I can see. I have run into the same problem on both the Kyocera and the Samsung palm OS phones. If you take the same code you have written here and put it on a motorola phone you will see a huge difference.
I can only suspect it has to do with the single threaded nature of the palm OS itself. Luck.
