Yes, with a 3party tool.
There are many commercials tools, google is your friend.
There is (at least) one LGPL tool : jnative

    I'm using JDK 1.5.0_06 and Windows XP OS. thanx..

    You will need to use Java Native Interface JNI. Ther are many posts on the subject, please search, and this is the documentation:

  • Use .dll files in Java

    hi,
    i have a dll file thats present some function. i called DLL file from java . i got the some errors such as
    Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: Error looking up function 'USBIsConnected': The specified procedure could not be found.
    but I hope with in that DLL the function present. here i have used java 1.6 version . kindly give the ideas

    You need to have a good look at the JNI documentation.
    It isn't nearly as simple as you appear to think.

  • How to use DLL files in java?

    hi!
    i am working on hardware based java programming. the drivers which i have are in dll format. the manufacturers dont have a java based driver api's for the hardware. i want to invoke the dll file using a bridge between windows invironment and jvm invironment. more over i am not preferring to use native interface interface and c program to tackle this problem.
    is there a way out?

    Is it a COM dll? You could use JACOB. If it's not COM, there's also JNA which as I understand it, is simpler than JNI, although I've never used it

  • Using JavaFX directly in Java without scripting

    Group group = new Group();
    group.set$translateX(this.translateX);
    group.set$translateY(this.translateY);How can I now set the content of the group for example a rectangle and a text? Has anybody an idea?

    Thanks for your reply.
    But would you please elaborate on this sentence: create the fx class using Class.forName("....").newInstance()?
    Indeed I implemented an interface which was extended by the javafx class, and in the main java file I need to write following codes to use this object,
    Context context = FXLocal.getContext();
            FXClassType instance = context.findClass("packageName.JavaFXClass");
            ObjectValue obj = (ObjectValue)instance.newInstance();
            JavaInterface ji = (JavaInterface)obj.asObject();The problem that I encountered right now is, the exception was thrown at context.findClass("javatest.MyChart");, since it's not able for the compiler to find the JavaFXClass.class.
    I checked the folder build\classes\packageName and noticed that both my main JavaClass and JavaInterface have been compiled with .class file, while the JavaFXClass was not, which means the file JavaFXClass.class doesn't exist.
    What's the solution?

  • How to use dll in Labview ?

    I compile this code to dll file with VC++2010 filename is test_dll.dll .
    #include "stdafx.h"
    #include <iostream>
    #include <Windows.h>
    using namespace std;
    int main(int a){
        cout << "Test dll...............\n";
        return a;
    After that, I put Call Library Function node in editor and double click Call Library Function node. I browse test_dll.dll into Library name or path and set function prototype to int32_t main(int32_t a); but it show error Call Library Function Node 'test_dll.dll:main':function not found in libraly. How to use dll in Labview ?  And I have more question is what is differrent from Tools -> Import -> Shared Library(.dll) and use Call Library Function node.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    The issue you are having is that LabVIEW is not capable of using C++ DLLs directly. It only handles C DLLs. This does not mean that if you you cannot use the DLL if it's compiled with the C++ compiler as opposed to the C compiler. Rather, it means that you must take extra steps in order to use it from LabVIEW. The primary issue is that of name mangling or adornment. This is discussed here: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/4877. Basically you need to prepend extern "C" in front of your prototypes in your header files. I would also suggest reviewing this article: https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-14564.

  • Using DLL functions created with LabVIEW 6i in CVI 4.0.1

    I want use SQL functions from LabVIEW 6i in LabWindows/CVI 4.0.1. Building DLL with this LabVIEW-functions was succesfull, but after using DLL in CVI project and run, error message was generated: FATAL ERROR : LABVIEW.LIB was not called from a LabVIEW process. Can you help me? In attachment are VIs and build script for this DLL.

    The SQL toolkit appears to be an ActiveX program. Why not call the objects with activeX in CVI directly?
    There are several hits for labview.lib on ni's site. Goto http://search.ni.com/?col=alldocs&layout=TechResources&ql=a

    How? You provide almost no useful information.
    What is rtc3?
    Why do you think you have to use DLLs?
    What did you try so far that hasn't worked?
    What is it you want to accomplish?
    You see what you ask here is just about the same as if someone would ask you to tell them what screw he needs to fix his car.

  • Business partner migration using lsmw direct load .

    Hi,
    We need to do business partner migration using the direct load method.
    We are thinking of using direct input method of lsmw for the data transfer.
    Could someone suggest a proper object/ subobject for the same.
    Alternatively has anyone done the same using LSMWbapi or LSMWidocs.
    Inputs will be highly appreciated <<text removed>>

    Does this solution give any way to update the customer fields too ?
    We have few customer fields added to BUT tables ... How can we update these fields using LSMW and IDOC ?
    Could you please give your opinion on thesame.

  • How to use the direct bytebuffer in JNI? Accessing JDBC from C application.

    I am working on a project to access JDBC Driver within C application. The invocation JNI is used.
    To get better performance, I use the preparedStatement for dynamic sql. This need to transfer much parameter data from C to JDBC for PreparedStatement object in JVM. I think this maybe get improvements by using the new direct bytebuffer function from JDK1.4. However I cannot find an example code to get start. Could someone provide some ideas for this?
    Currently, I directly call JDBC API in C application through JNI, so there is no java codes. Only c file using JNI call.
    My understanding is to use the direct bytebuffer feature, I also need to have java codes to process the JDBC API call and then can share the same memory between Java and C. Please correct me if wrong.
    Any input is appreciated.

    I am trying to get the best performance for the solution, using JDBC libs in a C application. So I am considering to use the direct bytebuffer in the solution to pass parameters to JDBC and get result sets from JDBC side.
    For your questions,
    1. Why don't you just write the database access in C?
    You mean to directly call JDBC API in C through JNI, right? My plan is to wrap the JDBC API by java and expose seldom interface to C native code, so reduce the JNI call between C and JAVA. If directly call the JDBC API call from C, the number of JNI call maybe more.
    No I mean what I said. In C, no java at all, why don't you write code to access the database?
    2. The database access itself is going to be slower than anything that you do in C or java.
    Exactly. I just want to find each potential points to get performance improvements for the whole solution. I also did some optimization work for the database call. The goal is to get the best performance from C application to database through JDBC libs.
    Then I suggest you profile it.
    3. Why don't you use import/export files and the database tools? This is often significantly faster with volume processing.
    Sorry, I am not very familar with some functions of JNI. Could you explain, " +Why don't you use import/export files and the database tools+"?
    Nothing to do with java, jni nor C.
    Major (or perhaps everything that is a real 'database') comes with additional tools. Amounst those tools will be command line tools capable of importing and exporting data from the database. In processing bulk data they will always be faster than anything you can do in JDBC.

    Help.I uninstalled ios8 using the directions on the web site and now all my apps,mail are gone.I backed up to iTunes first but when I try to sync to get everything back,it starts and then says it has failed.What do I do now.Thanks.Jane

    The first time an iPhone is connected to iTunes that is used to sync with another iPhone or iOS device, you are prompted to transfer the backup for the other iPhone or iOS device or to set up the iPhone as a new iPhone.
    The former does as provided - it transfers the backup for the other iPhone or iOS device to the iPhone replacing all data on the iPhone that is included with the backup being transferred. The latter does nothing allowing you to make your various selections for the iPhone sync preferences with iTunes.
    This is designed to be done right away with a new iPhone.
    If you don't have a backup for the iPhone with iTunes on your computer and don't have an iCloud backup that hasn't been updated since choosing to transfer the backup for your iPod Touch to the iPhone, the data that was on the iPhone is gone.

    You have to use the Java Native Interface to use dlls. The JNI
    tutorial at http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/native1.1/
    walks you through the basics and provides a sample too.
    Hope this helps.
