Is it possible to advoid running rmiregistry manually?

Hi,
Who knows whether it is possible to advoid running rmiregistry manually?
I've tried to use LocateRegistry.createRegistry() to do so.
But no avail.
I specify the policy file with -D switch and set the pemission properly but only to find:
java.rmi.ServerException: RemoteException occured in server thread; nested exception is:
Java.rmi.UnmarshlException: error unmarshalling arguments; nested exception is:
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: access denied to class loader
Java.rmi.UnmarshlException: error unmarshalling arguments; nested exception is:
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: access denied to class loader
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: java.security.AccessControlException: access denied <java.io.FilePermission \.\- read>
<<no stack trace available>>

Hi,
the stack trace says it all: the security manager
applied does not allow to load classes. Did you
install your own security manager? You might have to.
Have fun,

  • I need to run rmiregistry automatically.. any one help me...

    hi
I am new to RMI, i created a simple RMI concept and it is working fine. I need to start rmiregistry by manually. Is there way to run rmiregistry as automatic when i execute the server program..
    please clear me..

    To start the rmiregistry programmatically:
    LocateRegistry.createRegistry(1099);To stop it programmatically:
UnicastRemoteObject.unexportObject(registry, true); However, you can also do it "dirty" (I tried this successfully):
    Runtime.getRuntime().exec(rmiRegistry);
// rmiRegistry is e.g. ".../rmireghistry.exe"The benefit of the last method is that "rmiregistry" is its own process which you can monitor (e.g. TaskManager in Windows) and kill seperatly if necessary during debugging.

  • [SOLVED] /dev/mapper/ dm : UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY; RUN fsck MANUALLY

I'm trying to boot my system from multiple machines using only a USB. I have a PC & MacBook Pro. When I have built & configued my system correctly from my MacBook Pro, I have tried to boot it from PC as well to make sure the boot process has no errors.
Booting from MacBook Pro is completely fine (1st boot). After that, I have tried to boot from a PC and the boot process is also fine (2nd). However, when I went back to MacBook Pro to boot my system again (3rd boot), I get an error:
    systemd-fsck: /dev/mapper/<dm_name>: Superblock last mount time (Tue Dec 3 15:25:41 2013,
    systemd-fsck: now = Sat Jan 19 18:29:54 2013).
systemd-fsck: /dev/mapper/<dm_name>: UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY; RUN fsck MANUALLY.
    systemd-fsck: (i.e., without -a or -p options)
I did run fsck and it says:
    fsck from util-linux 2.24
    e2fsck 1.42.8 (20-Jun-2013)
    /dev/mapper/<dm_name> is mounted.
    e2fsck: Cannot continue, aborting.
However, when I just run reboot, the error has disappeared but everytime I switch to PC and then go back to MacBook Pro, I get that error and it disappear after I reboot.
Can anyone explain to me why I get that error? is the problem related to time configuration? how to configure it so that it wont get that error again.
    I appreciate your help :)

Yes, it's related to time config. Apparently, the clock on your PC is correct but the clock on your Mac is very incorrect (Jan 2013). You need to synchronize the clocks.

  • How to run rmiregistry by my own programe ?

    Hello All,
    i make a simple rmi application i want ,
when i start my rmiserver programe then it first run rmiregistry
    auto means by my programming.
    please any body help me.
    i m thnksfull.
    Arif.

I didnt understand ur problem. U want to write your own registry and run it or simply u want to run an existing registry from ur program.
If u want to run an existing registry from you program use following code in your program.
    Runtime r = getRuntime();
    Process p = r.exec("start rmiregistry");
Make sure that "rmiregistry" is in ur PATH.

  • How to run rmiregistry each time windows starts

Can anybody tell me how to run rmiregistry each time windows starts.
I want to start my RMIserver automatically to work.First I need to start rmiregistry then I want to start my RMIServer class as windows service.

Stick a shorcut to it in your Startup folder or create a new Key in the registry @ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
If you have arguements to rimreg (like port number) create a .bat script and use that to launch it.

Would it be possible/reasonable to run Guitar Rig and Reason simultaneously on a MacBook Air?

Hi there, Klaus1, BDAqua and a brody,
Thank you ever so much for your kind replies! (I tried giving you the 10 pts. of 'Correct Answers' to each of you, but unfortunately it was only possible for Klaus1, so the points were distributed between him and BDAqua even though you were all helpful!)
My next question will naturally be: Is SheepShaver legal? My Google search didn't yield any conslusive proof that it was, nor any that it wasn't, but as the E-Maculation web page seemed quite official and above board I would assume that it is.
The next logical step would be to ask whether it's safe for both HW and SW to run SheepShaver. HW, it appears, is very rarely, if ever, affected by SW settings, so I would assume that hardwarewise, I'm good to go. Could it ruin the kernel of Mac OS X's Unix-based operating system?
    Kind Regards,

LV doesn't have any sort of Startup folder as we are a little concerned
about the security issues this brings about. You can specify VIs on the
command line for LV to open. And VIs can be set to run when opened.
Combining these features, you wind up using the system's Startup folder,
placing either a batch file or a shortcut to LV with the command line
options added to list out the VIs, and finally, set the VI properties
    so
that the VIs run when opened.

  • Command to run kextcache manually?

For reasons I won't bore you with, I want to force the kextcache to run manually on my PPC 10.4.11. I've looked through man kextcache, but the components of commands I see there are unfamiliar territory. Can someone please help me out with the correct command?
    Or, would
    *sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions*
    produce the same result?

Thanks. Maybe I should supply a few of the boring details. For some reason, kextcache is running at every bootup and by itself consuming up to 80% CPU for about a minute and a half on this already slow enough G3. Then it appears to quit running and the CPU drops back down. Nothing in the log to indicate why or whether the rebuild is successful or not. (Verbose boot keeps showing 0 cached.) I tried trashing the mkext, but it wasn't recreated on the next boot (so I moved it back.) Applying the 10.4.11 Combo didn't fix this, apparently. Although, I am now seeing a newly created, or just newly dated, mkext and kextcache.
My idea in manually forcing kextcache to run is to see if it will give it a kick in the pants and make it finally stop running, if it is really successful. I think I would want to know if it was successful or not. I don't understand how to put the command together with the proper options.
    -t
Perform all possible tests on the named kext(s) and indicate
whether the kext is loadable (and therefore eligible for inclu-
sion in the cache), or if not, what problems it has. Note that
tests are performed in three stages, validation, authentication,
and dependency resolution; a failure at any stage can make tests
in further stages impossible. Thus, a kext with validation
failures may have unreported authentication problems or missing
    dependencies.
There are over 300 kexts, so If it is a flakey kext causing this I don't think the -t option would be very practical. I think that option must be meant for testing at least a small number of kexts. I guess I just need to know in general whether the rebuild is successful or not. I can't possibly test every single kext.
    DIAGNOSTICS
kextcache exits with a zero status upon success. Upon failure, it prints
an error message and exits with a nonzero status.
I'm not sure why the mkext wasn't recreated after trashing. Perhaps that is a big clue as to what is going on.
    (3) the exit status of touch doesn't reflect whether the rebuild was successful.
So, maybe touch will be successful, but it won't, apparently, provide any clues about what's going on if it isn't? Or, maybe touch will be good enough. I can just run that, reboot and see if kextcache kicks up again.

  • SSIS Package Runs OK Manually But Not From SQL Server Agent...Permissions?

I have a problem where I have an SSIS package (SQL Server 2005) that won't run properly from SQL Server Agent, but it runs fine when kicked off manually from Integration Services -> Run Package or when run in debug from Visual Studio.
The first step in the package checks for the existance of a file via a script task.  The script looks like this...
    Code Block
    Public Sub Main()
    Dim TaskResult As Integer
    Dim ImportFile As String = CStr(Dts.Variables("BaseDirectory").Value) + CStr(Dts.Variables("ImportDirectory").Value) + CStr(Dts.Variables("ImportFile").Value)
    If Dir(ImportFile) = "" Then
    Dts.TaskResult = Dts.Results.Failure
    Else
    Dts.TaskResult = Dts.Results.Success
    End If
    Return
    End Sub
This script runs fine and the file is seen as expected when I run the package manually.  But as a step in a SQL Server Agent job, it doesn't see the file.
The SQL Server Agent service is set to start up / log on as a Local System Account.  I've also tried setting up a credential / proxy (using an account that I know can see and even move / rename the file) to run the job as but that didn't seem to help.
The package is being run from SQL Server (stored in MSDB) and is set to rely on SQL Server for sensitive information, so I don't think that's an issue; other packages are set up like this in terms of sensitive data and run fine.
Any ideas why my script can't "see" the file I'm looking at when it's kicked off by SQL Server agent?  I've looked and looked...I can't seem to figure this out.  I would really appreciate any help you might be able to offer up.

If the variables are fine, then I think it is very likely that this is security related. Since the Agent is running under the local system account, have you verified that the local account can access the file? When you tried the proxy account, are you positive that it was set up properly, and that the account had the permissions to read the file?
Another thing to check - is this a local file or is on another computer? If it is on another computer, make sure you are using a UNC path and not a mapped drive.

  • GATP run ffecting manual Pricing from Quotation to Sales Order

    Hi SAP Gurus
We have a bit of problem, when we place a Quotation for a material and APO gATP is run it creates a sub-item for the material and thatu2019s where we add our manual prices(e.g Freight Charges). What than happens is the Quotation is later converted to a Sales Order and gATP is run again( I would think to still see if stock is still available) but all those manual Conditions are lost and our Users have to re-create those manual conditions. I checked in Copy Control(VTAA) to make Pricing type C(Copy manual Elements). Does anyone have an Idea what else can I do to make sure Manual Price is copied even though gATP is run again.
    Thanks
    Phenyo

    Hi Friend,
To copy the pricing from Quotation to Sales order without change you have to maintain copy control settings from  QT to OR
Goto the Transaction code VTAA then click on position and choose the Source document as QT and the Target document as OR
Then click on the item in the control tab and choose ur item category and click on Display
Now in the Pricing field change the value To D
Hope it is clear and work.
