Is it possible to copy and paste special add multimedia object to pdf?

I am trying to add multiple audio files to a pdf.  Is there a way I can automate adding the interactive object into the same place on multiple mages with the same image poster, with same advanced settings. I am happy to select the audio file itself manually.  Really need to copy and paste in place the multimedia object on multiple pages.

No.
RMAs can be copied and pasted, but you cannot change the media file and cannot store the settings from one RMA as some form of 'preset' for others to use.

  • Is there a way to copy and paste excel table contents to a pdf table form?

Is there a way to copy and paste excel table contents to a pdf table form?

It's not something I have tried before.  Have you tried it, and what's happened?
Basically, copy/pasting tables is a bit of a problem - anywhere.  Table formats are different in different circumstances - Excel, HTML, PDF, ...
If you copy a HTML table and paste it into an Excel sheet, the entire table will go into one single cell.
So most likely what you are trying to achieve will not work.

  • Is it possible to copy and paste a formula without changing the cell references?

I am trying to paste a formula to a cell adjacent to where it currently is but when I do, the cell references in it change. I am trying to get exactly the same formula in the cell (without re-typing it).

Just another quick question, is it possible to make a large number of cell references 'absolute'?
Individual cell references in formulas may have four distinct states: relative, absolute column, absolute row, or absolute column and row. These are set using the popup menu on the reference itself. Click on the reference in the formula and choose one of the four states from the popup menu.
Once set, you can fill the formula into the rest of a column or row using the Fill Handle (small circle at the lower right of a selected cell). Cell references in the new copies of the formula will remain absolute or adjst to their new position dependent on the setting for each reference. You can also copy and paste the cell (single click to select it, command-C to copy) with the same results.
You can also copy/paste without changing the formula's cell references if you select the formula (Drag across the formula in the entry bar, copy, press tab to deselect and reconfirm the formula in the original cell) rather than the cell. Pasted into a new cell, the formula will appear as if you typed it in exactly as it was in the original cell—neither absolute references nor relative references will have changed.

  • Is it possible to copy and paste a review quiz from on book into another?

I have a number of quizzes in an ibook which I have been using as a sand box.
There are 10 questions in each quiz.
I have copied and pasted a lot of the material from the trial ibook into a new book.
I would like to copy and paste the quizzes from the first book into the new new ibook also.
    Is this possible?

Its possible to make a duplicate of the quiz within an ibook, but I have tried CUT and PASTE but it does not work even though they are both colored black in the menu.
As CUT and PASTE are colored black, I thought that it might somehow be possible to copy them from one ibook to another.
I can copy the complete section containing the quiz from the first ibook to the second ibook. If I could then copy the review quiz to the appropriate section in the second ibook, and then delete the copied section, it might work.
However, it still will not copy and paste the review quiz, only make a duplicate next to the original quiz.

  • Most compatable file type to use when copying and pasting specially formatted text into html pages?

    Hello,
I have a simple web site at http://www.psychicmeatloaf.com which is an online poetry journal site. I use files people send me (mostly .doc or .docx) and cut and paste the text from those files into html pages in an older version of Dreamweaver and some of the text has special formatting (like this page: http://www.psychicmeatloaf.com/Chang-poetry.htm ). The best way I have found to maintain the special text formatting is to open the .docx files and "save as a web page" in Word and then open the web page from Dreamweaver and then "Preview the page" in Explorer and copy and paste from the preview into an html page in Dreamveaver. Even using this method, some text will not maintain it's special formatting and for those I just save the page as a .jpg file and use that, because I have no other choice.
My question is, is there a better way and is there a better file type to work from other than .docx?
    Thanks a milliom,
    George

That's a lot of steps to get to a single end that could be done with a simple copy & paste of the text into code. Like Photoshop and Fireworks, Word writes some very bulky and dirty code. I wouldn't recommend it for direct copy by the method described above.
I personally copy the text and paste it into code view. It takes a little more work, but I don't get dozens of lines of inline styles added with it and using a preformatted post div (saved and hidden in the code (<!--post block code goes inside-->), I can quickly put title, date, byline and links up with a cut & paste.
    That's just my $0.02 worth
Also, since nearly EVERYONE will use a different formatting in a Word doc, putting a bunch of differently formatted posts into a page will make it look like one of those ransom notes made of cut out text from different newspapers and magazines.  Better to keep everything in a single format (your format) so it doesn't become an eyesore.

  • Is it possible to copy and paste (or replicate) selected sections of a form to reduce form construction time?

I am building a very large form which will have the same group of question response choices repeated multiple times in the form.  Is it possible to replicate/duplicate these sets of identical response choices (by say, copying and pasting)?  Thank you.

    Hi Ned,                                                                                                                                                                      B"D
Thank you for giving an idea how to solve my problem.
You suggested to save a page as an .html in Word.
    This is what I did:
    1. In Word I formated title as Heading 1.( Formating-->Styles and Formating)
    2. Saved the page  as an HTML file.
    3. When I  pasted  this page into Dreamweaver  <h1> TAG was displaced in the source code.
    cheers,

  • 100s of possible answers - copy and paste?

Help! I have a question (drop down) on my form that has 100's of possible answers. I'm trying to copy and paste them into the answer possibilities in the form design but it ends up in one field instead of creating more? Is this possible or will I have to manually type them all out?

Thanks for the ultra fast reply.
Ugh... this is a major hurdle for us as the answers change frequently and we'd have to re-type several questions every month or so. Hope you can hook me up soon as I really want to switch to your platform.
Another feature request would be to access our domain user list using LDAP for the answer possibilites. That way i'd never have to update it!

  • Is it possible to copy and paste folders -- to a new point in timeline?

I have a flash file with various folders.  Using Flash 8 (but could import it into CS4 if absolutely necessary)
I have a folder in the fla movie which contains various elements.
I would like to copy  that folder and paste it into another position on the timeline.  (I will swap out some of the contents of the folder after I copy and paste it.
However I don't see a way (at least in Flash 8) to copy and paste a folder.  Is it possible?  Is it possible in CS4?
    Thanks
    Rowby

no, but you can shift-click and drag to copy all the layers and frames that you want.  you can them paste the copied layers and frames wherever you like and then add those layers to a folder.

  • Acrobat XI Windows 7 - unable to (copy and) paste form fields to a different pdf.

To maintain a consistent appearance and function in the forms I create for various departments, I copy a few form fields  (text, checkboxes) from an unrelated Acrobat PDF. Then I paste those fields into a different PDF document that I am making fillable.
I do this because Acrobat does not allow setting a default for certain attributes when creating form fields, i.e. an unchecked scroll option, a default font other than Helvetica (in Acrobat 8, 9, and X). Plus it is time-saving to copy and paste fields that are the same in another PDF, like name, address, phone. etc.
We just updated to Acrobat XI and Windows 7 and now I cannot paste copied fields onto a different PDF.
Using "replace pages" is not applicable as I am pasting to an entirely different form and copying form fields with the settings I use.
Is this a glitch or is something new that was not in Acrobat 8, 9, and X?
Also, question regarding this forum entry -  http://forums.adobe.com/message/5638333#5638333 - which is somewhat different from my current question.
The PDF creator could not paste copied fields on other pages of the same PDF. Was this ever resolved so that copy and paste worked as it has for the last 3 versions of Acrobat?
    Thanks!
    Joanie

Gilad:  You're right: when the fields are different, such as a checkbox and a text field, and you try to title them the same, Acrobat gives you a message. I received no messages, the field names are not the same or I missed one and Acrobat is no longer messaging about it.
My question is different. Acrobat XI will not let me paste any field copied from a different PDF.  I've been doing that for 5 years in three different versions.  Maybe Acrobat XI has a new process for that, which I could not find in Acrobat help. Maybe it's because all forms now have extended rights automatically in Acrobat XI and there is another method to copy common fields to other PDFs.
Any thoughts about the new Acrobat XI? It's different in many good ways, but different.
    Thanks for your ideas.

  • Is it possible to copy and paste All the infos in Itune Producer?

When I fill in all the infos in the Itunes Producer it takes a long time, and I have several books to load. Especially the part about rights and pricing, country by country. I have several books to load at the same price. Is there a way I could use all the infos about one book and copy it to another packages in Itunes producer, would be a great time saver !
    Tks,
    Serge

There is a "Group" button somewhere in iTunes Producer. I tried using it, but it appear not to work. If it does work, it's not obvious how to go about creating a group.

  • Is copy and paste possible

    Hi,
Is it possible to copy and paste while composing emails or editing contacts?
    Thanks, JJ

Thanks, but what a bummer for Apple to make such a neat device devoid of basic functionality
I guess it is really a media player trying to be a PDA also and unable to be both.

  • Copy and Paste  - "Paste Special?"

I did a copy of two entire columns and wanted to paste the formatting of those columns in adjacent columns. When I paste and copy style it appears to use the style of the formatting template not the actual columns that I have modified. If I copy and paste the formatting of the columns does not include the size of the columns.
I want the two columns (differing in size) to be repeated numerous times. I don't want to have to format the size of each pair. In Excel if you copy and paste special and then select the new larger range and paste special and repeat you can quickly get a large area formatted quickly.
    What am I missing?

    Hello
You simply missed that Numbers is not Excel.
Apple is not forced to build a product using a photocopier.
If you think that a feature is missing, go to "Provide Numbers Feedback" in the "Numbers" menu and describe your wishes to Apple engineers.

  • Copy and paste without keeping variable names

Is it possible to copy and paste frames without keeping the
same variable names for pieces inside of those frames. something
    like replication without duplication

isn't there a way to copy and paste text so that it takes the attributes of the recipient appThis is down to the "recipient app" to implement. For example, TextEdit has "Paste and Match Style" which does what you want. Microsoft Word has "Paste Special …" with various options. I don't know Filemaker, so don't know what is on the "Edit" menu.

  • Copy and paste text and graphics between Flash and Illustrator

When copying text in Illustrator and pasting them to Flash, some text would become drawing objects and some remain text. A drawing object is not editable. If I import the AI file, then text remains text but the placement of graphics can be a little bit off sometimes.
It's just not possible to copy-and-paste text and graphics from Flash to Illustrator.
Is it just me? If not, when will Adobe have better integration between the 2?
    Thanks,

Even though you can change your InDesign preferences for Clipboard Handling to allow formatted information to be pasted into InDesign from other programs, unfortunately Illustrator still won't allow you paste in text with formatting. This is due to how Illustrator and InDesign handle text differently. Even if you copy the text from Illustrator and paste it into a program like Word, which has a lot of different ways to handle formatted text, Illustrator just treats text differently than other Adobe applications.
