Is it possible to install folder level script automatically by any other application ?

I want to install folder level javascript through flex application .is it possible to do this or by any other technology.
1 way to do is to copy file using file stream of that application but as directory for folder level javascript is protected one therefore file operation give i/o error
any other solution .

I do not think any Adobe product will allow you to do this for obvious reasons. '
You can use any installer program the will perform the installation for users if the users decide to allow your request.

Folder level script? How can I use field value as a pdf filename in save as dialog box

I read somewhere that if you use a folder level script, you can do things like save a pdf with a specific filename - possibly based on a field name.
How would one set up a folder level script?
How do you execute a script from the PDF?
What code would you use to change the PDF name to the contents of the fFieldName text field?
Or, is this really just impossible to do?

File System in Folder Level Script

Is it possible to access the File System in a Folder Level Script. For example I want to check if a certain file exists in the folder containing active document & load info from that file in a dialog box.

Import Text Data to text fields with folder level script

I am using Adobe 9 professional and have a folder level javascript to import text into existing fields of a pdf.
There are multiple fields with multiple rows of data to be imported.
The folder level script is not working (but there are no errors in the console showing when run)
I have manually tested opening the text file with the following code in the console and the text file opens and populates the text fields, so the text file must be correct:

Working fine now, changed the location of the file path - could have been something to do with having an apostrophe.

How to search "ActiveDocs" in folder-level script

I am trying to perform a search in an Acrobat folder-level javascript like this:

I use the setTimeOut function to make sure that the document has had enough time to open before I start the search. The problem is that I get this error:
          GeneralError: Operation failed.
          Search.query:24:Folder-level:App:SearchScript.js
          No active document
It seems like I can't "see" active documents from a folder-level script. Is there any way around this?

A folder-level script can be used for two things:
- Execute commands relevant to the application as a whole, NOT dependent of
any specific document (e.g. adding new menu items).
- Create functions which should be available to any document or script that
might need them (e.g. formatting a string in a certain way).
What you're trying to do is neither here nor there. If you want to be able
to search existing documents, you can use a folder-level function, but then
you need to call it from somewhere else, like a menu item or a toolbar
button.

My laptop is authorized to the same iTunes account as the tower. If I do a software update for the iPhone on the laptop's copy of iTunes, will it wipe away my music that isn't from the iTunes store, etc?

By design, the organizer (and any other database management systems) is there to prevent you from duplicating your media files. The catalog management allows you to have the same image in different categories or albums. Duplication in different folders is to be absolutely avoided.
The same image file can have multiple tags like 'family', 'vacations', 'birthdays' and be present in three different albums with the same names. On obvious advantage is less disk space. Another one with your present folder system is that if you edit one of your duplicates, the other ones are unchanged.
I don't see an easy way to make your present folder structure simplified for the organizer ...

Can I use 'Macintosh HD' folder time machine creates like any other hard drive folder?

Very simply, is it possible, after using Time Machine to back up my Laptop, to use the 'Macintosh HD' Folder it creates like I would any other hard drive by selecting and extracting specific folders and backed up items as I see fit instead of going in to the Time Machine software and asking it to restore the drive to one of its 'backups' -essentially governing what exactly goes back in to my freshly cleared out laptop's internal hard drive? Will I run in to any problems? I am asking as I have picked up a software bug that I need to wipe off laptop hdd that would still be in the backups I have done and go back on to the laptop if I just asked Time Machine to restore.

Xine codecs installed. no video on youtube or any other site.

I have a connect by loop.

connect by nocycle prior child = parentThis works fine but i have an addiitional requirement to find the top level of this tree. By passing in any other level.
i.e.
if i have data as follows:

Then I need my query to always give me the value 1 (top level) even if i pass in 1, 2, 3 or 4.

Sorry, I don't know enough (yet) about your application to answer your question.
Whenever you have a question, post a little sample data, and the results you want from that data.
In the case of a DML question (like this one: how to prevent DML that causes a loop) post some INSERT statements that show the table without any problems.
For the results, post a series of DML statements (INSERT, UPDATE and or DELETE) to be executed in order, and say whether you want each one to fail or not, and why.
Make sure your sample data resembles your real data. For example, if your real table allows children to have more than one parent, make sure your sample data has an example of that.
There's no need to post a lot of data. If your real trees can go to 50 levels deep, you can post a tree that only goes 3 or 4 levels, and just explain that they can actually go deeper.

Well, the subject header pretty much says it all. My wife bought me an iPad2 for Christmas buit my PC has been on deaded for a while now. Is it possible to sync my iPad2 from another source, say my iPhone4? Assuming that is possible, will I ever be able to update my iTunes without my PC? Assuming that I can't sync my iPad from home, can someone at an Apple storepossibvly help? I have a sick feeling that I am S.O.L. here, but I hope that somrone here can tell me otherwise! If the new iPad 2 came with iOS 5 already installed, it may be possible to activate it without the computer. If it is not apparent, or the instructions in the box did not say how, you probably will need a computer to get started. The Apple Store would be the best place to go if that is convenient.

ITunes shut down scripting interface used by other applications

Everytime I try to close iTunes I get a dialogue box stating:
"One or more applications are using the iTunes scripting interface. Are you sure you want to quit?" Kind of annoying, anyone know how to fix this?

This is a fairly common annoyance. iTunes has a scripting interface that a host of applications use to talk to it. It could be any one of a number of processes that are running at the time. Usually it's some other media related application that can synch to an iPod but it could be some unsuspect application as well, logitech setPoint for example is often sited. To find out, see whats currently running in the background (Press <ctrl><alt><delet> and click on the Processes tab in Windows Task Manager). Make a list of suspects then try shutting down those applications. You have Task Manager end the process, but only if you know which ones are safe to terminate. Once you find the culprit you can possibly make that application run manually or remove it. Otherwise you just have to live with itunes quirks.

Can't drop files from Downloads or Documents folder on the dock to any other Finder window

I have been downloading some files and dragging/dropping them into another folder for the last 30 minutes or so. They're downloading to the default Downloads folder, and then I've been dragging them from that folder in the Dock, which opens like a fan, and dropping them into another folder (my Documents folder) in an open Finder window.
All of a sudden, I can't drop files from the Downloads fan anywhere else. I also tested, and can't drop files from my Documents folder or my Screenshots folder, two other folders that are on the right side of my dock and open up like a fan.
I can drag them, but when I hover over the folder that I want to drop them into, nothing happens. If I let go, they just stay in their original folder (the Downloads folder).
So basically something happened with the folders on the right side of the dock that's not letting me drop the files anywhere else from the Dock. If I open the folders in their own Finder window, I can drag/drop just fine. It just won't let me do it from the Dock as I had been.
Any ideas? I've tried restarting as well as sleeping/waking as I saw recommended on here, but no luck.

HFS File system with case sensitive is not accepted to install creative cloud? Is there any other way but install the whole MacOS again after formatting the drive. I cannot belief that Adobe is so bad to it's Mac customers..

After many hours setting up OS10.10 from he scratch the last step should be installing m Adobe apps again.
trying this I always get the error message that creative cloud does not accept case sensitive file systems and I shall use another drive.
This means I have to set up the whole machine again after formatting without case sensitive but then having copy problems with my NAS?
I cannot belief that Adobe is really demanding this. If so this would show how urgent this market need alternatives and some more competition...
