Thats right, m3g files are 3d graphical models for J2ME. I'm trying to develop a GPS navigation software for mobiles, i have managed to create a 3d map model from an xml data file, this process is too slow and therefor i'm trying to save that 3d model as an m3g file so i could load it directly. To make long story short, i know i can load m3g files, but is it possible to save that 3d model as m3g files by code?
Edited by: 813096 on Nov 18, 2010 8:56 AMA bit out of my league I'm afraid - J2ME not my area. Perhaps someone else will have something for you.
In the meantime, I'll see if there's a better forum to put this in on here.

The image in question cannot be shrunk, so using the iPhone built-in Screenshot function (by pressing both "Home" & "On/OffSleep/Wake" buttons simultaneously) only produces part of the image.
    Thanks.

Generally in all Apple iOS apps, you can hold down on the image and the save image dialogue will pop up. Many third party developers adopt this method, but some also have other weird ways of doing it through menus. What appa re you trying to do this with?

  • No longer possible to save or print PDF files from browsers

I am suddenly having a problem saving or printing PDF files from the browser, but it extends to all browsers in OS X. I can view the PDF normally but if I try to print as PDF all it shows is two black pages. Then if I try to save as a PDF it tells me the document could not be exported. I just tried this with a PDF and the only way I could get it was via Windows running on Parallels. I've already tried resetting the printer by removing and adding it again with the alt key pressed but this made no difference.
This all started about a week or so ago and I just ignored it at first thinking it was something wrong with a particular file but now it's happening in all cases. I'm running the latest 10.7.3 on a new Mac Pro and everything is up to date. Does anybody know what might be causing this?
    Thanks

    Quit Safari.
Open the Library folder in your home folder as follows:
☞ If running Mac OS X 10.7 or later, hold down the option key and select Go ▹ Library from the Finder menu bar.
☞ If running an older version of Mac OS X, select Go ▹ Go to Folder… from the Finder menu bar and enter “~/Library” (without the quotes) in the text box that opens.
Delete the following items from the Library folder:
    Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db

  • Is It Possible to Save a Soft-Proofed File?

Let's assume that I have an image, foo.psd, open in PSCS4. I softproof the image for a particular paper and printer. When I hit Ctrl-Y, the image is shown in softproof mode, and the softproofing info is appended to the image name in the PSCS4 window. Is there any way to save a copy of foo.psd with the soft proofing applied, i.e. foo-softproof.psd?
    Reed

    Reed,
a print looks often different to the monitor. Quite normal
    - many monitor colors cannot be printed.
They are out-of gamut for the printing CMYK space.
The RGB image data are converted via the RGB profile
to Lab, which is large enough to represent real world
    photos without loss.
From Lab the data are converted to CMYK via the CMYK
profile. Here is loss because of the smaller gamut.
The colors have to be mapped from the larger RGB gamut
into the smaller CMYK gamut. This can be done
    a) automatically by Rendering Intent Relative Colorimetric:
in-gamut colors are not changed. Out-of-gamut colors
are mapped to the gamut boundary; this process isn't
    accurately defined by standards.
    b) automatically by Rendering Intent Perceptual:
all colors - even those which were in-gamut - are
shifted towards the gray axis. This process depends
very much on the scientist or programmer and is nowhere
    defined by standards.
So far one doesn't need human interaction, but the results
are not always pleasing. The third and optimal method is
    c) image based gamut compression. Reduce the saturation
and eventually rotate the hue in regions which are out-
of-gamut until Photoshop's Proof Color Gamut Warning
    doesn't show larger out-of-gamut areas.
Gamut compression algorithms and the color science behind
are explained in this excellent book:
    Jan Morovic (accents omitted)
    Color Gamut Mapping
    John Wiley & Sons, 2008
Manual image based gamut compression is demonstrated here
by many examples (but it's called 'Editing in Lab'):
    http://www.fho-emden.de/~hoffmann/labproof15092008.pdf
    Attention: 3.4 MBytes.
Chapter 9 shows visualized gamut boundaries for several
    color spaces.
IMO you're seeking the impossible (if I'm understanding
    you correctly).

  • Is it possible to save metadata to both files in an imported pair?  (Tiff & Jpeg).

I imported many files that were tiff & jpeg pairs (with the import preference box checked 'Do Not treat as seprate files when file names are the same') into LR3.  Since then, i have been unable to write new metadata, such as captions, keywords, etc., to both the JPG and Tif files.  LR3, and now also LR5 both only seem to want to write to the tiff files.  How do i get the metadata easily saved onto the jeg files as well?  (preferably without re-importing as separate files).  Thank you.

    To separate them:
    0. Make sure the 'Treat JPEGs separately' box is ticked in Lr preferences, and
    1.   Invoke the 'Separate Jpegs from Raws' feature of RawPlusJpeg, *iff* it recognizes your tiffs as raw, or
2.1   Rename the jpegs temporarily (to an invalid extension), then resync the folder(s) (that will force Lr to forget about the sidecars).
2.2   Rename the jpegs back, and resync again, reimporting the jpegs.
That way, you won't need to re-import your tiffs, thus losing photo standing (e.g. collections, publish services, ... ) and edit-history...

  • Is it possible to save and sort document files in a single Cocoa document?

That heading probably makes no sense whatsoever. Here is what I would like to be able to do.
Let's say that I want to create a text journal on my car hobby. I would like to be able to open this document, pick the Ford category (from many auto makes) AND pick the suspension subcategory that I want to make new notes on, and then enter my notes.
I would also like to have the ability of creating a new subcategory under Ford / Suspension / entitled Torsion Bars and so on. I have a myriad of other menu items I would like to implement, but this is the basic idea of the text document that I would like to create.
I know that I will have to use the the NSDocumentController and NSDocument classes, but I am wondering if either of these classes has an inherent method or selector for implementing my goals. Or will I have to manually write these categorizing methods.
I hope I have explained this clearly enough.
    Thanks,
    Phillip

This will work if you all use the file syncing of the Creative Cloud desktop application and then you use the Collaborate option for the folder containing all the files. Then it will work on each of your desktops.
Links to files will not work in the browser when viewing the InDesign document from https://creative.adobe.com/files.

  • How do I save a password protected file without a password?

Someone sent me a password protected file and I want to save it on my computer without the password.
    Thanks,
    Scott

    Hi Scott,
It is not possible to save a password protected file without a password with Adobe Reader, you would require Adobe Acrobat to remove the password protection. Even with Adobe Acrobat you can only remove the security if you are aware about the password otherwise you need to contact the Author/creator of the PDF to remove the security.

  • PSE4: save layers to separate files?

Is it possible to save layers to separate files on Photoshop Elements 4? I want to create an animation, but I want each slide to have a different time. When I Save for Web and select Animation, all layers have the same timing.

No, the only way to do this with PSE is to duplicate layers so that the same one appears longer. So for instance, let's say you have three real frames and you want the first and last ones to appear for 2 seconds and the middle one for four: make a four framed image by duping the middle frame so it's in view for twice as long.
For anything more elaborate than that, you need a different program, I'm afraid.

  • Save image to a file got a blank image.

I need to save graphics image of a component to a file. Following is what I did.
    1. Call createImage() from this component.

    3. Call ImageIO.write() to save it in a file.
What I got from the result file is all blank. Following is the code.

    1. In my case, the label is visible on the screen, why I need to call the setVisible(true) again?
    2. Why use print() instead of paint()?
    3. I have to use BufferedImage.TYPE_INT_ARGB to create a new BufferedImage, otherwise the result image file is in black.
    4. I did not use the hints because it is very confusing. Fortunately, It worked without them.

  • HT201361 Is it possible to save the screenshot files to a different folder than desktop. How can I change the folder?

Is it possible to save the screenshot files to a different folder than desktop (that is the default). How can I change the destination folder? Thank you, Sal

To change the screenshot capture location to a new place on your Mac, first think of a location that would serve you properly. We like to place ours in a "Screenshot" folder located inside of the User's "Pictures" folder. To change the location to this new location, open the Terminal and enter the following command:
    defaults write com.apple.screencapture location /Users/[u]/Pictures/Screenshots/
Replace "[u]" with the name of the user on your system. Once you have entered this command, let's restart the screen capture utility by restarting the SystemUIServer by entering the following command:
    killall SystemUIServer
You can optionally log out and back in instead of entering this second command, thus restarting the SystemUIServer. Once restarted, all screen captures taken from here on out will end up in your /Pictures/Screenshots/ folder in the User's home folder on your Mac.

  • Is it possible to save / extract data from a MS SQL database 2008 using lookout 6.2?

Is it possible to save / extract data from a MS SQL database 2008 using lookout 6.2?
Now a days we are saving / extracting data in a excel spreadsheet, but we would like to do that using a database because it is better.

You can use ODBC connection to work with SQL Server database.
Use SQLExec object to execute the SQL statement. Here is a KB about the SQL statement.
    http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/4ADEEA04CD24AE0B862565E20002A16F?OpenDocument
To write data to spreadsheet is more straightforward because Lookout has built-in spreadsheet object. But you need to write SQL statement by yourself to interact with other database.
To read the data back is the same way. Just use "select" SQL statement to query. You can use Datatable object to query.
The "Data Source" can be "DSN = data source name;". The data source name is configured in Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Data Sources(ODBC).
