I want to send the parameter from one application say applcation1 to application2.Both applications are running on same server.
Can you suggest any solution provided by sun

Few of solutions are like
writing the parameter to xml file or inserting the parameter in database which are common resources to both.I want some other way to solve the same.

Is it possible to use the mask from one image in other images?

Hello,
I'm prepping a product shot to send to a designer. I always create a mask to 'drop out' the background, so that the designer can pull the product into InDesgin without picking up any of the background.
I would like to send the designer 3-4 versions of the same shot, with small changes to the shadow detail etc., but I would rather not spend the time creating the same mask 3-4 times.
Is there a way to create a mask on one image, and then copy that mask and place it in the other choices? Its the exact same shot with the exact same crop so each image would be an exact duplicate.
I realize I could ask him to choose and mask his top choice, but there is a bit of a time crunch here and a few layers of people to make the final selection, so it would make everything I lot smoother if I could simply send him the finished product without creating a lot of back and forth.

If the images are exactly the same size then make sure the layer with the mask
is the active layer and in the other documents go to Select>Load Selection and choose
your document with the layer mask under Source document and under channel choose the layer mask.
After the selection loads press the layer mask icon at the bottom of the layers panel.

Passing Record type parameter from one session to other session

Hi,
I have a package.procedure, in that I am calling custom workflow, inside this workflow again I am calling
same package.procedure (Its an recursive call)
I need to pass record type parameter in this package.procedure.
I tried with global variables but Workflow starts its new session so it losses all variables.
Now I am going with creation of Custom table.
Please advice, is there any way other than creation of Custom table.
I mean can we pass Record type parameter from one session to other session without creating table.

Sending cost centers from one system to other system( different landscape)

Can some one please let me know how to send the cost centers created in one system to other ssytem,
my requirement is sending cost centers from one sytem to other system:
1. when a new cost center created
2. when any changes happend to existing Cost centers.
The two system are in different landscapes.

Moving the object from one dimension to other in the cube in BI7.0

Hi Gurus,
I am new to BI7.0
We have a requirement wherein we need to move the object from one dimension to other dimension within same Infocube.I tried doing 'cut' and 'insert' from the context menu of the dimensions, but it didnt work.
Please let me know how do we do that..

Problem in moving the code from one system to other system

I am working on building a webservice. I started building the EJB teir compnents like (Entity beans, Sessions beans, data base schemas) using the SUN ONE STUDIO 5 and SUN ONE App Server 7.0.
The problem, if I want to move the same entity beans code from one computer to other computer.
I am using same platform except the operating system (XP, and Windows 2000), apart from this every thing is same (Sun one studio 5, sun one app server 7.0). The Entity beans are working on the source computer and tested the beans. But When I moved the code to other computer, I compiled the entity beans code and it compiled perfectly. Then I tested the entity bean, I generated the test client, and deployed it. Till now no problem. When I tried to excute it and invoke the functions then it giving the following error:

Hi,
YOu can do with ALE and EDI by configuring the systems as per the requirement.
You can create 2 Logical systems for sending and receiving in two different clients and can continue with idocs by sending them to the clients.

From the SAP standard menu, choose SE71.
On the Form Painter: Request screen:
1)Enter the name of the form (ZORDER01) in the Form field.
2)Enter DE in the Language field.
3)Click created and press OK.
4)From menu bar, choose form->copy from
5)In the popup, give formname as (ZORDER01) and language as EN and click ok.
6)Save the form and activate it.

here is the steps to move SCOTT's objects from their current tablespace to a NEW_TABLESPACE
would be:
1) do an export of all of scott's objects. Make sure no one modifies them after you
begin this process. You will lose these changes if they do.
$ exp userid=scott/tiger owner=scott
2) you would drop all of scotts tables. This will get the indexes as well. I don't
suggest dropping the user SCOTT but rather dropping scott's objects. Dropping scott
would cause any system priveleges SCOTT has to disappear and the import would not restore
them. This script can be used to drop someones tables:
set heading off
set feedback off
set verify off
set echo off
spool tmp.sql
select 'drop table &1..' || table_name || ' cascade constraints;'
from dba_tables
where owner = upper('&1')
spool off
@tmp.sql
3) You would modify the user to not have unlimited tablespace (else the IMP will just
put the objects right back into the tablespace they came from) and then give them
unlimited quota's on the new tablespace you want the objects to go into and on their
temporary tablespace (for the sorts the index creates will do)
alter user SCOTT default tablespace NEW_TABLESPACE
revoke unlimited tablespace from SCOTT
alter user SCOTT quota unlimited on NEW_TABLESPACE
alter user SCOTT quota unlimited on SCOTTS_TEMPORARY_TABLESPACE
4) you will IMP the data back in for that user. IMP will rewrite the create statements
to use the users default tablespace when it discovers that it cannot create the objects
in their original tablespace. Please make sure to review the file imp.log after you do
this for any and all errors after you import.
imp userid=scott/tiger full=y ignore=y log=imp.log
5) you can optionally restore 'unlimited tablespace' to this user (or not). If you do
not, this user can only create objects in this new tablespace and temp (which in itself
is not a bad thing)...

No. Home screen bookmark files cannot be added as attachments to Mail or Messages. The URL is the only available option.

Pass parameter from one jsff to other in bounded task flow

I'm using 11g adf.
I have a requiement to get parameters value from one jsff to another jsff .
In bounded taskflow , the trans.jff has parameters which i have to carry to couple of detaill.jsff (5 jsff).
In between trans.jsff and detail.jsff am using router to validate the path to call particular detail.jsff.
Issue now i need some parameter value to send from trans.jsff to detail.jsff.
i have used below in trans.jsff :

How to move the changes from one system to other without using CMS

In our project they are migrating NWDI 6.40 to NWDI 7.0.
During migration CMS won't be available.
Could you plesae tell what are the different options are there to move the WebDynpro changes from (NWDS) Development to Quality system and then production system without using CMS server?
If i will create a development package and import this packgae in Quality package will my new changes also be available in Quality server?

I wasn't completely sure, but from your description of your problem, it seemed like you would have access to your DTR during your upgrade. The following solution assumes as much. If this is not the case, you'll need to do things slightly differently, but the solution will still be possible.
Depending on the scope and size of your changes, it may be practical for your developers to deploy directly from their NetWeaver Developer Studio (or for a designated administrator to install the NWDS and do the same). To do so, from the Development Configurations perspective, create a new NWDS project for each of the DCs you want to deploy. Then right-click the project and choose from one of the deployment options. (Deploy new archive and run will allow you to see if your deployment has taken effect.) When deploying, the target server is the one set up as your J2EE engine in the NWDS properties - you'll consequently have to modify this when the target server for your deployment changes (from QA to production, or vice versa).
Note that this is only applicable in certain situations, and only as a short term stopgap measure. This sort of practice - developers or administrators deploying haphazardly to servers other than those intended for development - is precisely what the NWDI is designed to prevent (and is one of very few things it's fairly good at doing). For instance, if your QA and production systems are attached as TEST and PROD runtimes systems respectively in your NWDI, a full assembly and subsequent full deployment would usually occur to these servers when deploying with the NWDI. This is a much stronger guarantee of consistency than the build that will be performed within your local NWDS to deploy your changes. (Conversely, the rigidity of the assembly is perhaps the NWDI's greatest design flaw.)
