Did you already try to reset the sync history?
If you find that some of your data syncs to your device but you see an unexpected number of changes or modifications, you may need to reset your sync history. This causes iTunes to prompt to Merge or Replace information on the device when you next attempt to sync your information. To reset your Sync History:
Open iTunes.
From the Edit menu, choose Preferences.
Click the Devices tab.

I have never used it personally. I have seen people here having kernel panics, and removing VB cured the problem. But then, that's not good data, because I don't know how many people might be using it with no problems, and why those kernel panics might be occurring.

24" iMac any good for games (compared to Mac Pro)

I'm on my second Mac Pro and after no end of trouble so i'm hoping to exchange it for a 24" imac but i was wondering if it's any good for games?
I would probably configure it with the 7600gt and maybe the 2.33ghz proccessor.
My mac pro with the x1900xt ran Quake 4 and Doom3 etc at full stettings really well but i've just had to much trouble with it!

The iMac would be fine for games for now, but you are stuck with the configuration that you purchase as there is no way (for now) to upgrade the video card.
There is a thought that some OEMs might make an upgrade card, but as of now there are none.
The big advantage of the Mac Pro is that it has the PCI-express video card that you can remove the stock card from and add a newer, better card.

All such products are either worthless or outright scams. Avoid them. TTP is frequently cited as the cause of various problems reported on this site.
Use your Mac the way it was designed to be used - without burdening it with useless garbage.

Comic Life? Any good for photos?

Found this on my iMac and I wondered if it's any good for making photo montages?
I use an online lab for photos so wondered if the files it creates would be good enough for uploading for poster prints (some up to 30"x20")?

No, Comic Life is only good for making comics, it can't make any montages. As of today I deleted it, seeing as I won't make any comics on it. Also, it can't make poster prints because of the way the printing would turn out (think a lot of colored dots with no real picture).
So in short, deleting it would not harm anything, nor hinder anything. Just save up some space.

Is the included soundcard any good? want to compose music and stuff...

i am about to buy a Mac and i havent found infos about the soundcards. is there none or is it just a cheap noname card? should i buy and insert another soundcard?

The built-in audio of any mac will be fine for you to start out with Garageband. You do need a USB MIDI keyboard to make playing the software instruments practical. Figure out what your budget is for a keyboard and then search around on

to get an idea of what you get for your money. I would recommend at least 61 keys. A keyboard with assignable MIDI knobs and sliders would be more fun and flexible for the future as well. Less then $200 should get you there. If you are really on a tight budget or are unsure of how much you want to invest at this point, then a mini controller is $100 or less.
You didn't mention the need to record live instruments (acoustic guitar) or singing, but then you're going to need a microphone. For Garageband, you can get one of the USB mics (like the ones from Samson) and that will simplify getting set up.
The only Mac model that will accept a "soundcard" is the MacPro, but any Mac will work with the variety of USB and Firewire Audio interfaces that are out there. The cheaper ones will offer a modest if any improvement on the sound quality, but you will get more ins, outs and things like headphone outs and other monitoring controls. The sky is the limit on the high end....
When you are ready to go to the next stage, then you are going to want to invest in an interface and more powerful software. Digidesign makes ProToolsLE bundles that start at around $300. You can also use ProToolsMpowered with many of the M-Audio interfaces out there.
Apple's Logic is very, very powerful for the current price of $500 but you will still want a better interface at some point to take full advantage of it.
Go to your local bookstore and pickup Recording magazine, or Home Recording. These mags will often have sections for newbies explaining the whole system, and what kind of options you want to be aware of. They have info online too...
Good luck... Plan on being up way past bedtime working on your mixes. Be aware that this can turn into a very expensive hobby if you get bit by gearlust. I know all about that..

Saving collections and I suppose web gallery (although I have neverf used it) is really just a reference to file locations on your computer. So it will not work for any other computer that is not exactly like yours.

It's the Mac book air good for graphic design and video editing ?

I'm into graphic design for clothing logos etc. and I'm a photographer my question is, is the Mac book air good for these things?

ideally a 15" would be best for same, as referring to the 15" macbook Pro.
For a photographer, which I used to be long ago, either the Air or Pro are close in form factor for travel with only one moving part, and SSD.
The retina display in combination with the 15" would be idea as best choice for photo editing and graphic design.

Getting this error message as of this morning: The version of iOS on “iPad” does not match any of the versions of iOS supported for development with this installation of the iOS SDK. Please restore the device to a version of the OS listed below, or update to the latest version of the iOS SDK. I've downloaded the latest SDK and gone through the usual turn off and turn on again for iPad and computer, removed and reinstalled the iPad from Organizer and have no idea how to make apps build now. I was prompted to update the iphone too but there's no way I'm updating it if this issue can't be resolved.

Okay these are the steps I took to solve the problem - they may not be the right ones for you but they've solved the problem and saved time hunting for some other solution. Firstly I changed my MAC system to Lion with the £20 download, then I deleted the old Xcode and installed the new version that is app based and doesn't support Snow Leopard, then all was well. I can now update my xcode via the app which is quicker and more logical and can update my iPhone rather than chug along avoiding updates as I need to update my existing apps on the app store and upload a new one.

If the app is designed correctly, the no, you won't. However, you'd have to ask the people who wrote the software, Adobe.
