Is "The Java ME Device Table" available in XML?

Hello,
I read that the Mobility Device Matrix of Mobility Center has been updated. There is a web page to list devices by their J2ME capabilities.
Is there any way to obtain this list in xml format?
It'll be very helpful for server side of OTA deployment.
Thanks

according to http://www.sun.com/rss/ , there is no XML feed for this.
You could always make a simple application to parse the page to XML yourself.

  • Unable to burn iphoto pics to disk. Get the message"no devices are available for burning".

    I have been burning pics from iphoto to disc since I purchased my imac with no problem.  Now I just get the  message "no devices are available for burning".  Also, my system does not recognize a cd in the drive.  What is the reason? if it can only be that simple.
    thank you,
    Sonja

    The reason may be that your optical drive has failed. Try resetting the SMC and pram and if that doesn't help probably either a trip to a repair center or purchasing an external drive is in order.
    To reset the SMC
    Shut down the computer.
    Unplug the computer's power cord.
    Wait fifteen seconds.
    Attach the computer's power cord.
    Wait five seconds, then press the power button to turn on the computer.
    To reset PRAM/NVRAM
    Shut down the computer.
    Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
    Turn on the computer.
    Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
    Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
    Release the keys.

  • Codecs for the Java Media Framework now available

    Hi,
    Firstly, apologies for the "ad"...
    The "jffmpeg" project at sourceforge (of which I am a developer) is now producing a codec pack for JMF. This consists of a selection of pure Java codecs, and a JNI wrapper onto the native FFMPEG codecs.
    See http://jffmpeg.sourceforge.net/ for details.
    Please let me know if you find this useful.
    JonathanH

    Thanks a lot for your answer...!!!!
    I am not really a pro in codecs, and I think that it's the main problem. :p
    I want to find a solution (I have to ! ), but it's very difficult for me..
    For the mpeg2 Transport stream format : you've totally right !
    In the mpeg2 TS format, the main difference with standard mpeg2 is that there is a structure "packet by packet", with a given packet length (188 bytes)... Each packet has an header which gives some information as you've said : transport error bit, synchronisation bit, etc... (and to be true, I have some difficulties understand really what each packet contains... I've understood the IPB principle, but this format is not very clear for me...)
    How can I explain my program ? heu...
    after extracting datas (I work in real time), at time t, I have in a byte array many 188 bytes blocks
    (I store them in a big byte array in a Buffer)... What have I to do with it ? Now, my program reads each 188 bytes and when the time represented is > 100ms, I run the processor on it, and so the decoding process...
    Is my error here ? how have I to do ? is it really a problem of size ?
    I have transformed my program this morning so as to have datas incoming from a file (and not my peripherical) : so, now, in theory, I can read datas which are not mpeg2 ts. But I haven't made test yet...
    But, I suppose that I am going to have the same problems that I have already faced :
    if I try to take a large chunk of data, jmf generates an error (I supposed that it's because the videoformat definition doesn't correspond with what jmf is waiting for !):
    # An unexpected error has been detected by HotSpot Virtual Machine:
    # EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at pc=0x0c307669, pid=2992, tid=2604
    # Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (1.5.0_01-b08 mixed mode)
    # Problematic frame:
    # C [jmmpegv.dll+0x7669]
    # An error report file with more information is saved as hs_err_pid2992.log
    # If you would like to submit a bug report, please visit:
    # http://java.sun.com/webapps/bugreport/crash.jsp
    the famous error that we often see on this forum....!
    And, if I take a little chunk, I have a ffmpeg error (I have understood now why... thanks to you)!
    And so, in decoder output, null length datas... logical !
    Maybe, I have an error in my program, but I really don't know where...
    I have an other problem... I would like to know if it is normal :
    I can't register (via jmregister) the NativeDecoder (but I can register NativeEncoder !)...
    It's quite strange... I've tried on 2 differents computers, and I have the same error "can't add item"..
    Why ? (windows xp - jmf 2.1.1e) jmf error or jffmpeg error or my error ?
    I have posted here because I have no guarantee that the problem comes from jffmpeg... I am a jmf newbie...
    The exception access violation error is quite surprising...
    I know that the format I use is not standart, but ... !!
    But, I am going to work again this afternoon, and then, I will post to jffmpeg development !
    If my problem can be solved, or if I can prevent other people to have the same problem, I will do !
    And if I found the solution to all my problems, I will post it ! :)

  • When trying to connect by Bluetooth to cellphone both devices recognize each other then I get the error that device not available.

    Would the problem be with cell carrier

    Bluetooth has nothing to do with the cell carrier, unless they have restricted its use in a network specific phone (some US based networks do this).
    Exactly which cell phone (make and model) are you trying to connect to which other Bluetooth device (make and model), and for what purpose?

  • How to get the column name and table name from xml file

    I have one XML file, I generated xsd file from that xml file but the problem is i dont know table name and column name. So my question is how can I retrieve the data from that xml file?

    Here's an example using binary XML storage (instead of Object-Relational storage as described in the article).
    begin
      dbms_xmlschema.registerSchema(
        schemaURL       => 'my_schema.xsd'
      , schemaDoc       => xmltype(bfilename('TEST_DIR','my_schema.xsd'), nls_charset_id('AL32UTF8'))
      , local           => true
      , genTypes        => false
      , genTables       => true
      , enableHierarchy => dbms_xmlschema.ENABLE_HIERARCHY_CONTENTS
      , options         => dbms_xmlschema.REGISTER_BINARYXML
    end;
    genTables => true : means that a default schema-based XMLType table will be created during registration.
    enableHierarchy => dbms_xmlschema.ENABLE_HIERARCHY_CONTENTS : indicates that a repository resource conforming to the schema will be automatically stored in the default table.
    If the schema is not annotated, the name of the default table is system-generated but derived from the root element name :
    SQL> select table_name
      2  from user_xml_tables
      3  where xmlschema = 'my_schema.xsd'
      4  and element_name = 'employee';
    TABLE_NAME
    employee1121_TAB
    (warning : the name is case-sensitive)
    To annotate the schema and control the naming, modify the content to :
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    <xs:schema xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xdb="http://xmlns.oracle.com/xdb">
      <xs:element name="employee" xdb:defaultTable="EMPLOYEE_XML">
        <xs:complexType>
    Next step : create a resource, or just directly insert an XML document into the table.
    Example of creating a resource :
    declare
      res  boolean;
      doc  xmltype := xmltype(
    '<employee>
      <details>
        <emp_id>1</emp_id>
        <emp_name>SMITH</emp_name>
        <emp_age>40</emp_age>
        <emp_dept>10</emp_dept>
      </details>
    </employee>'
    begin
      res := dbms_xdb.CreateResource(
               abspath   => '/public/test.xml'
             , data      => doc
             , schemaurl => 'my_schema.xsd'
             , elem      => 'employee'
    end;
    The resource has to be schema-based so that the default storage mechanism is triggered.
    It could also be achieved if the document possesses an xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation attribute :
    SQL> declare
      2
      3    res  boolean;
      4    doc  xmltype := xmltype(
      5  '<employee xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
      6             xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="my_schema.xsd">
      7    <details>
      8      <emp_id>1</emp_id>
      9      <emp_name>SMITH</emp_name>
    10      <emp_age>40</emp_age>
    11      <emp_dept>10</emp_dept>
    12    </details>
    13   </employee>'
    14   );
    15
    16  begin
    17    res := dbms_xdb.CreateResource(
    18             abspath   => '/public/test.xml'
    19           , data      => doc
    20           );
    21  end;
    22  /
    PL/SQL procedure successfully completed
    SQL> set long 5000
    SQL> select * from "employee1121_TAB";
    SYS_NC_ROWINFO$
    <employee xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:noNamespaceS
      <details>
        <emp_id>1</emp_id>
        <emp_name>SMITH</emp_name>
        <emp_age>40</emp_age>
        <emp_dept>10</emp_dept>
      </details>
    </employee>
    Then use XMLTABLE to shred the XML into relational format :
    SQL> select x.*
      2  from "employee1121_TAB" t
      3     , xmltable('/employee/details'
      4         passing t.object_value
      5         columns emp_id   integer      path 'emp_id'
      6               , emp_name varchar2(30) path 'emp_name'
      7       ) x
      8  ;

    Hi,
    Use Apps diagnostics feature. It is quick and available on screen.
    To enable diagnostics set FND:Diagnostics profile option to yes for your user. Then you will be able to see Diagnostics link on the Right top of the page.
    Select Show Log on Screen radio bottun. Then go the screen you want to see logs for.
    The diagnostics written in the java files will be available on screen logs. (IMP: not the SOPs)
    Use following to write diagnostics
    in controller:-->
    if(pageContext.isLoggingEnabled())
    pageContext.writeDiagnostics(this,"your custom message",1);
    in AMImple and other BC4J java files :-->
    get OADBTransaction object reference...lets say it txn
    if(txn.isLoggingEnabled())
    txn.writeDiagnostics(this,"your custom message",1);

    How do you set the default version from within the SDK/Netbeans?
    And is there a way to prevent the Device Manager from starting?

    Go to: http://technet.oracle.com/tech/xml/oracle_xsu/
    Select [Software] from the tab on the top
    and download OracleXML SQL Utility.
    If you're using Oracle8.1.5, download version
    111. If using Oracle8.1.6, download XSU12.
    Unzip the archive file.
    Under the lib directory, there should be
    a jar file. This jar file contains the class
    you're looking for.
    You do not need to unzip this file. Just set

    Orders table based on this value.
    I have created a relationship between the two tables however when I use:
    =RELATED(Submissions[MaxDate]
    I get this error:
    "...either doesn't exist or doesn't have a relationship to any table available in the current context"
    I don't really understand why this would be, because MaxDate definitely exists and contains only numerical values. What is more strange is that if I try and combine the data through a pivot table it actually works! I can create a pivot with OrderID in the first
    column and then associate it with MaxDate from the Submissions
    table as the value.
    Can anyone help me understand what is the problem here?
    P.S. if it is useful the formula I'm using to calculate the MaxDate is:
    =MAXX(FILTER(Submissions,Submissions[OrderID] = EARLIER(Submissions[OrderID])),[Date])
    Thanks.

    Maracles, is this still an issue?
    Thanks!

  • I am trying to install the "Java Runtime Environment" plugin. It is continuously showing as not available. What can I do to get round this?

    I am asked to install this update by an educational website.
    The sequence of events is:
    1. Message appears at interactive site on page "A plugin is needed to display this content." along with an Install Plugin button.
    2.Pressing the install button brings up a dialogue box, "Plugin Finder Service" with "Java Runtime Environment" ticked.
    3. I press "Next" to install. New dialogue box comes up showing "Java Runtime Environment" as "Not available" and states that no plugins were installed.
    4. The only availablre option "finish," closes the dialogue box.
    I have tried following instructions in help but these always bring me back to the same process. I have downloaded the most recent Java software and nothing has changed.
    Any ideas to successfully install "Java Runtime Environment." Maybe there's a successor plug-in.
    All help gratefully received.
    Thanks,
    Andrew Bramley

    Hello Andrew, try download [https://www.java.com/en/download/faq/whatis_java.xml Java Runtime Environment (JRE)] from the next link : https://www.java.com/en/download/ . If you can not then try the manual way from the next link : https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp (select the Windows Offline, filesize: 28.0 MB). In.... general, try to use the official sites when you install Java or flash etc.
    thank you

  • How to generate the java code of a table's data model by parsing it's FXML?

    I have know how to create FXML file that describes a table. Meanwhile, according to [Oracle Tutorial|http://docs.oracle.com/javafx/2/fxml_get_started/fxml_tutorial_intermediate.htm#CACFEHBI], it is a best practice to implement a class that defines the data model and provides methods and fields to further work with the table.
    However, It's rather cumbersome and time consuming to typing the code. So, is there any tools that can generate the java code of a table's data model by parsing it's FXML describe file?

  • Is there any system table available to check no. of entries in the table?.

    Hi
    Is there any system table available to check the no of entries in the table.
    Note : the table may be whether SAP table or Z-table.(All tables)
    Regards
    Raja.

    Hi Raja,
    I don't think so. Instead, try to perform
    SELECT count(*) FROM dbtab.
    ...to get the number of records of the table dbtab.
    I hope this helps. Kind regards,
    Alvaro
