Is there a plan to have more artists provide lessons on Garageband?

I would like to obtain more guitar and piano lessons from the artists. It appears that Garageband hasn't added more.

Depends a great deal on what type of users they are. Simply running reports? Should be manageable. All performing complex modelling - more of a problem.
And of course it depends a large deal on your supporting infrastructure as well! How many interactive processes can your server handle?
But back to planning, if these are all planning users - not just reporters - perhaps the biggest issue will be planning level design such that so many users are not locking each other constantly.
Be aware that locks are defined by the package definition that a user executes a layout or function against, and locks stay in place until the users ends his/her planning session - which means exiting a planning FOLDER or correctly existing the web application.....

Is there any plan to have Maintenance Wizard on Windows platform?

I am planning to upgrade our 9i/11.5.10.2 to 11g/R12 on Win2000. The client doesn't have UNIX/Linux in the shop. It seems we can't use Maintenance Wizard for the upgrade. Is there any plan to have Maintenance Wizard on Windows platform?

We have considered this many times over the lifetime of the MW, but it seems the demand is never great enough. We hear from about 2-3 customers a year who would like to see this feature. It came back very low in the "desirability" ratings from our MW survey last year.
So I'm sorry to say that there is no plan to make MW installable on a Windows box at this time.
(It can be used for customers with Apps nodes on windows, but with the caveat that you lose automatic execution... See the FAQ, note 405263.1, for more details.)

Is there a way to have more than one Query view in the same workbook?
BEx allows us to insert Queries into workbooks, but not saved views.
I can open a view in excel & then save it as a workbook....but after that there is no way to add another view to the same excel. If I open a new view, it opens in a new Excel.

when u open some query in BEx analyser,u can save it as a query view as well as workbook.The difference is, workbook is if u work with the design mode which will be in the left side of ur screen and query view is wen u save after drill downing some char or key figures from a intial screen wen u execute query in BEx analyser

Is there any plans to have subversion (SVN) source control support in LabVIEW 8?

I was wondering if there were any plans or any workarounds to tie into a subversion (SVN) revision system control system with the integrated LabVIEW 8 source control.
We are currently using rev. 1.2.3 SVN.

Basically LabVIEW for Windows makes use of the Microsoft SCC API for
all version control activities and any source code control system with
such an interface can be used. The SCC API is treated by Microsoft as a
trade secret and you can't really get the specs without signing an NDA.
So there is not likely to be an Open Source SubVersion interface to be
out there soon but there is a company selling an SCC provider for
SubVersion PushOK SubVersion Proxy.

Is there any way to have more than 28 connection terminals?

I am using the application builder to create DLL's for a futures trading system and want a few more than 28 input/outputs... is this possible? I would pass arrays... but, the software interface on the other side is limited and cumbersome. If I could have 40 terminals, for example, my needs would be met when building these DLL's. Any way to do this? Any way to create a DLL with more than 28 input/outputs?

My first thought is that you really might want to reconsider this VI that you are developing. Is there another way that you could design it such that it does not require more than 28 inputs/outputs?
Some other information that could be useful: what do you plan on calling this dll from? just how many inputs and how many outputs are you looking at?
There is an example in the NI Developer which talks about using a structure in a dll to correspond with a cluster in LabVIEW. Using Structures in a DLL with Clusters in LabVIEW If it's possible, try and take a look through the example and see if this option co
uld work for you.

Is there any way to have more than 200 messages in your inbox?

My iPhone 3gs only allows 200 messages in my inbox per email account. On the contrary, my girlfriends blackberry will hold 1500+ emails.
Does anyone know how to change the settings to allow more messages to be kept in the inbox or if the new iPhone 4 will allow more messages to be kept in the inbox?

What you see in regards to the Show Recent Messages settings is the only thing available.
If a mailbox has more than 200 messages and you want to view more than the 200 most recent messages in the mailbox, there is a load more messages selection at the bottom of the mailbox or below the 200th most recent message.
Don't know if iOS4 will have different options available for the show most recent messages setting for a mailbox. iOS4 for existing 3G and 3GS iPhone will be released on 6/21. iPhone 4 will have iOS4 pre-installed.

Is there a way to have more than 2 aux channels?

I'm using ultra beat with multiple outputs and want to be able to break down the parts into different channels. At the moment I have it routed through two aux channels but I'm struggling from here on. I've done it before but don't remember how.
How does everybody else do it and can you create more than 2 aux channels?

Go into the environment window and create new audio objects. In the parameter settings for each audio object, you can assign them to new aux channels. Every time you assign a new aux channel, Logic will allocate more aux channels for you to use (up to 64).

i asked the team developing firefox hello about this. the feature for firefox on android is on the long-term roadmap but development hasn't started yet, so it's not possible to give a time-frame unfortunately (other than it's going to take at least a few months)...

Is there a way to have more than 15 items in 'File/Recent'

When filing email, I use the 'File/Recent' in the Thunderbird toolbar a lot and I have a lot of folders. It would be great to be able to allow for more than the last 15 folders to choose from.
Also, it would be great to make some of these folders 'sticky', i.e. they would stay on the list even if not used often.

I'm having difficulty visualizing what is wrong but try some basic steps first:
Launch Safari while holding a Shift key - this will start Safari with just your Home page
If you can see Reset Safari from the Safari menu, try that.
In addition to downloading and installing Safari again, try reapplying just the Snow Leopard Combo Update: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399 There is no need to uninstall Safari first.
Lastly try deleting Safari's Preferences file: ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist

We have 9 kids, 2 PCs, 6 laptops, 8 iPods, one iPad, and a Mac laptop. I need to authorize a sixth computer for my daughter.

I'm in a similar situation. 4 kids, but we have a couple of macs, a couple of laptops, a mac mini connected to a tv, and a server that we keep all the content on. We have some iPhones and AppleTV boxes too. Fortunately they don't count. 5 compters would be enough but the server needs to be authorized as well which puts us at 6.
You can try letting Apple know at http://www.apple.com/feedback. Family accounts would also be a really nice thing to have.

Then there's something wrong because when I added a second account with a different SMTP server, it changed the first account's SMTP server to be the same as the second one. If I then change the first one to be correct it then changes the second one to be the same as the first.
