Is there an ADOBE plugin for MS Project 2010 to create Dynamic PDF files?

I wonder if there exist any ADOBE plugin for MS Project 2010 to create Dynamic PDF files?

We are not going to use form fields. An employee is going to create large projects in MS Project 2010 and want to share his projects with other employees. So the need is just a viewer. So I guess we need to check out all the third part MS Project Viewers which is out there. Thanks for your answers guys!

  • Doki, one of the biggest Adobe Air for iOS projects, released yesterday

    I am proud to present one of the biggest Adobe Air for iOS projects, that was released yesterday. Amazingly, the project completed in less that a year. Doki is a unique modern method of learning the basics of a foreign foreign language without the use of grammar and writing.  Through colourful animated scenarios and characters, Doki brings to life a number of languages through real life situations, humour and interactive exercises. Exclusively designed for the iPad 2, New iPad, and iPhone 4S, Doki teaches five different languages: English, French, German, Iberian Spanish and Latin American Spanish. Each language has two levels: Doki and Doki Further.  Both levels have been designed to teach the basics of these languages so that you can communicate with confidence.  In Doki, a beginner’s level, the learner navigates through 14 chapters or ‘places’ in Doki City, listens and repeats the phrases and then solves simple interactive exercises.  Each chapter is divided into lessons (a total of 51) that present key words and phrases in English and the other languages Doki covers. Doki Further, a more advanced beginner’s level, consists of 9 chapters with 28 lessons that take place in Doki City.
    The development of Doki is based entirely on Adobe Air . The result is spectacular. With a development team that consisted of 5 programmers, 2 designers, 3 language specialists, one assistant programmer, plus a team of 4 testers, the gigantic project of 14 apps was completed in less than a year, resulting in very low development costs!

    Hi Brian,
    You can create it in Word or excel and then you can Convert it into .pdf Format
    Here's a feature list that depicts benefits of PDF pack: Convert Word to PDF, Convert PDF to Word & Merge PDFs | Adobe PDF Pack

  • Creating a pdf file for more than a thousand images

    Please bear with me if this is elementary, I'm very new at this.
    I have over 1,200 jpeg images that I need to print out at Kinko's (it's for a school project). When I took it over there, they told me that unless it's all in a pdf. file, they have to charge me $60 an hour to print. I'd rather not have to do that if I can help it.
    Trouble is, I attempted to do this with adobe acrobat and it wouldn't let me convert more than 5 images. Is there an easier way to do this? I have adobe photoshop 7.0 and Acrobat, can anyone tell me the steps I need to take to accomplish this? Thank you so much.

    I'm not a Photoshop expert by any means. I can give you the basics but if you have issues, you'll want to go to the Photoshop forum.
    You would go to your actions pallet (in PS) and in the dropdown menu choose "new Action". Open a .jpg, save it as a PDF then close it. In the pallet again, choose to stop recording. At that point you'll have an action.
    Then you go to File>Automate>Batch. Choose that action, choose the folder that all of your .jpgs are in, choose a new folder to put the finished PDF's in and choose ok (there are some quirks to this that you'll need to talk to the PS experts about). Let the batch run for however long it takes then use the instructions I gave above to create a new PDF file from multiple files in Acrobat.

  • Using Acrobat X and creating a PDF File from EXCEL 2010, I notice that the Pagination restarts at 1 for each Worksheet included in the PDF.

    I use Acrobat X Standard and created a PDF file from two or more worksheets using EXCEL 2010.
    The resulting PDF file restarts the PAGE # (In header/footer settings of Excel) at 1 for each worksheet.
    However, a colleague of mine who has Acrobat X Pro version, using EXCEL 2010 and same exact file does the same task, he gets a file that starts at page 1 and second worksheet continues the page # from the last page of the First worksheet.
    We both are using the ACROBAT menu (not the print to Adobe printer) to create the file so that we can get Bookmarks included in the resulting file for each worksheet.
    We cannot figure out any option in Acrobat's preferences that controls the pagination on either of these versions of Acrobat.
    So is this just a feature that works one way in Standard version and another way in the Pro version, and the user has no control over it?

    This is so sad. I read your comments and I said, "Huh?" Haha!
    I tried the indexed color option and it did make the final file smaller. Around 600KB. But there's probably another way to make it even smaller like the gazillion-paged pdf file that I mentioned that was only about 300KB.
    And by saying a layout program, does that mean like Adobe InDesign? Does that mean that I should just make my graphics in Photoshop and then import using another program and finish the file there?
    What other layout programs can I use?
    Thank you so much!

  • Problems creating a PDF file w/ Word 2000 + Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional

    Hi all,
    we have a problem with some of our word files. When trying to create a PDF file w/ Word 2000 and Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional by pressing on the Acrobat button in Word, sometimes the PDF distiller gets stuck and doesn't create a PDF file. When pressing <Alt>+<F9> we see that the file is overcrowded with fields, e.g.:
    {PRINT \p para "[ /EMC pdfmark [ /StPop pdfmark"} { PRINT \p para "[ /EMC pdfmark [ /StPop pdfmark" }
    { PRINT \p para "[ /Subtype /P /StPNE pdfmark" }  { PRINT \p para "[ /StBMC pdfmark" ] { PRINT \p para "[ /Subtype /P /Title () /StPNE pdfmark}
    etc.
    When deleting all of these fields it is possible to create a PDF file (which is quite a nuisance). Does anybody know what these fields mean and esp. what can be done to stop Word/Acrobat writing the text felds into our documents?
    Thanks a lot in advance,
    Chris

    All of the marks are created to provide the tags and other items related to bookmarks, links, and accessibility. Sometimes there is a problem if your TEMP folder does not have enough room. You get these when you use PDF Maker (the create PDF icon in WORD). You can select the preferences in PDF Maker and deselect a lot of the items, particularly tags that tend to bloat the PDF but are useful for accessibility or going back to WORD (you should always keep the WORD file anyway). That may solve the problem. If you do not want any of the extra info, then print to the Adobe PDF printer instead.

  • Is there a desktop icon that takes one straight to Create a PDF?

    is there a desktop icon that takes one straight to Create a PDF?

    Hi,
    You can access CreatePDF from your computer more quickly in three ways:
    You can download and install the CreatePDF Desktop Application. More info is here. With this application, you can drag PDF files onto a desktop icon and have those converted to Office files. (If you subscribe to the CreatePDF service, this application will also allow you to create PDF files.)
    You can download and install the newest Adobe Reader and access the service using Reader's Tools Pane on right. Then, any time you have PDF open in Reader, you can (with a couple of clicks) convert that PDF to an Office file.
    You can drag the webpage icon from your browser to your desktop. This will create a shortcut to the CreatePDF website on your desktop. Here are some instructions for doing that using Internet Explorer or Firefox.
    Let us know if you have additional questions or issues.

    For sideloaded content the nook pulls the metadata from ePub file itself.  I would suggest looking at a program like Sigil or Calibre that will let you edit the metadata in the book to make it appear like you want.
    For the PDF vs ePub - No, that's the way PDFs work (think of them as graphics, not text), wheres ePubs are Web Pages - so  no you can't them to behave exactly alike without converting the files.

  • Is there something comparable to My Documents in Windows that will allow pdf files in Quickoffice to appear?

    I have an iPad 2. I need to send pdf files from Quickoffice to my school's copy center for duplication to distribute to my students. When I click on choose files at the SUNY's copy center, I am only able to access Camera Roll and Photo Stream. Is there something comparable to My Documents in Windows that will allow pdf files in Quickoffice to appear?

    Perhaps I am not clearly stating my problem. I always used my desktop or laptop to send files that were handouts to the copy center since I do not use a textbook for one English class. Both crashed within a two-day span so until I can get one fixed, I am hoping to use the iPad. I have all my files saved as PDF files in my email. I have added the Quickoffice app and transferred next week files from school email to Quickoffice. When I access SUNY's website to send my files to be copied and click on choose file, all that is there are photos. If there is not a central location in iOS, then how would I manually sync the files in Quickoffice to whatever is allowing the photo files to appear?

  • When I save a Word 2010 doc as a pdf file, it opens up in Adobe Reader as a blank page, no text, no background etc.

    When I save a Word 2010 doc as a pdf file, it opens up in Adobe Reader as a blank page, no text, no background etc.  I am logged on as the Administrator, running Windows 7, using Microsoft Home and Business 2010.

    You were right, it was a Microsoft problem.
    I got it...I am now able to save a Word 2010 document as a pdf file.  Here is what I did/found:
    In Word, go to File, Options, Display and make sure that "Print drawing created in word" is CHECKED.
    Mine was unchecked and when I checked it everything came back and is working as it did before.  The only thing I can think of is that a Microsoft Update may have changed this selection...I know I DID NOT make any changes in the options.
    One other thing I noticed in my saved documents folders was that a lot of my files showed up as PDF's and would still not open until I selected one and told it to default to open as a word document and then they all changed back and I was able to open them in word again.
    I hope this helps others out there.

    I am using Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard version in Windows 8.1 and when I try to create a .pdf file, I receive the following error message "Acrobat could not open "file name.log" because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged.  To create a PDF document, go to the source application then print the document to .pdf"  I am going to the source application and printing the document to .pdf yet it's saving the file as a .log file.  After reinstalling the software, I initially didn't encounter this problem but on my second and third attempts to convert files to .pdf format, this error message reappeared.  How do I resolve this problem?

    I have a similar problem which i did not have before...and it exists only in some powerpoint files which i want to print as a pdf file...and i get the same message as above.
    the log says the bellow details...what's the problem and how can i resolve it? thanks.

    You can remove the assembly tree by doing a roundtrip in 3D Toolkit, here's how:
    - start Acrobat 3D
    - drag & drop a CAD file
    - click on 3D Annot to activate
    - right-click on 3D
    - select 'Edit in 3D Toolkit'
    - 3D Toolkit launches
    - click in 'Scene Tree' panel
    - right-click on top assembly name
    - select 'Tools->Collapse Hierarchy'
    - select 'File->Save'
    - select 'File->Exit'

  • How do I create a pdf file that is 300 dpi in Adobe Acrobat XI?

    How do I create a pdf file that is 300 dpi in Adobe Acrobat XI?

    PDF files do not have a "resolution" - they aren't images. The pages are a mix of vector art and text, and raster (pixel-based) graphics. The raster items on a page can (and often do) have different resolutions.
