    Try to reset the iPod by  pressing the home and sleep button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data doing a reset, but it can clear some glitches after installing new software or apps.

    are there any events to script a component when dragged and dropped into the parsys area?

    The cq:listeners node of a component's cq:EditConfig has a number of events that fire with relation to the edit mode drag'n'drop stuff. You would probably want to hook one or more of the insert ones (beforeinsert, beforechildinsert, afterinsert, afterchildinsert).

  • Is there any bugs about flip4mac and fcp studio ....

    is there any conflicts between fcp studio and flip4mac ......

    I haven't seen any bugs at all, but for final conversions I tend to export out a self contained, close fcp and convert from QT pro. It seems to encode a little faster that way. For finals, I always use 2pass vbr.
    I export right out of fcp for quickie content approvals, they tend to be low bit-rate one-off's to e-mail to my clients.

  • Captivate 8 vs yosemite. Audio speech doesn't work neither on Captivate 7 nor Captivate 8. Is there any bug to fix this problem?

    I'm having problems when using Captivate 7 and 8 - specially audio speech management.
    As I use OSX Yosemite, I don't know why but it doesn't work properly.
    Any bug or way to fix this problem?
    Thanks in advance.

    Captivate for yosemite is all around really buggy. I also cant get text to speech to work, but I am experiencing issues with what I call "windowing". When I attempted to maximize captivate 8 to my cinema display, menus and modal windows spawned by captivate often appear behind other windows. In addition, Captivate can't seem to figure out how to maximize to the available screen real estate.
    These two things happen to be the most annoying bugs, but I have experienced many more:
    1.Timeline is really wonky. I can't select multiple timeline items and move them without the timeline completely falling apart.
    2. Selecting objects that are overlapping on the stage is terrrible
    3. Altering the duration that an item should appear in the timeline often creates an extremely annoying bug where other timeline items will jump to an arbitrary spot. This creates a ton of re-work.
    Adobe - Cap 8 is not ready for use in OSX Yosemite- please fix it!

  • Is there any bug in the documentation??

    hi guyes,
    i am refering "Oracle® Data Guard Concepts and Administration 10g Release 2 (10.2) B14239-05 August 2008" to configure physical standby database on my same host having my primary database.
    i told you it was my worst experience using any oracle documentation.
    i am using oracle 10g R2,and followd all procedure to configure physical standby database,but i think there are some bugs in this document.
    1. they have told to create controlfile for the stadby database but didnt ask to edit controlfile for new path of datafiles.
    2.they have ask to copy all primary datafiles to stdby location,but when you try to open standby database,it dosent match the path of stdby datafile due to same controlfile.
    these and there are many bugs are in this document.
    they ask to edit tnsnames.ora file but dosent provide the procedure to do so.
    i mean this is not the complete guide to follow.
    a hopeless thing
    is this a bug???
    thanks and regards

    i am using oracle 10g R2,and followd all procedure to configure physical standby database,but i think there are some bugs in this document.I'm assuming that you specifically mean Section 3.2 Step-by-Step Instructions for Creating a Physical Standby Database
    1. they have told to create controlfile for the stadby database but didnt ask to edit controlfile for new path of datafiles.That isn't required if you follow the step by step guide since the example uses the DB_FILE_NAME_CONVERT and LOG_FILE_NAME_CONVERT database initialisation parameters. In particular see step2 and Example 3.5
    2.they have ask to copy all primary datafiles to stdby location,but when you try to open standby database,it dosent match the path of stdby datafile due to same controlfile.
    these and there are many bugs are in this document.If you have followed the steps as described in the document you won't get the errors that you describe above. You'll also note in the backup and recovery guides there is a similar example for database duplication on the same host which also uses the file_name convert parameters. If you still require help it might be useful to list the precise error and what you have set the relevant parameters to.
    they ask to edit tnsnames.ora file but dosent provide the procedure to do so.They do however, directly in the step by step guide, refer to the relevant manual - the Net Services adminsitrators guide - that contains a section http://max00994:7777/docs/db10gr2/network.102/b14212/naming.htm#sthref700 on managing net service names, if you'd read it you'll see that there are 3 different tools that you could use and that the exact steps to follow depend on your environment, given this complexity it isn't unreasonable in my view to link you directly to where the information can be found rather than to include the best part of an entire chapter on service naming in the middle of a step-by-step guide.
    i mean this is not the complete guide to follow.This particular guide does deal with standby configuration, complete with practical examples that do in fact work when followed diligently, I should know I've followed them previously on more than one occasion. It doesn't of course deal with underlying subject matter that is referenced elsewhere. I don't know what Oracle's target audience is for this book, but wouldn't think it unreasonable to assume that a dba considering building a dataguard installation was already familiar with Oracle SQLNet (it would certainly be required knowledge in my book).
    a hopeless thing
    is this a bug???As the documentation works as written I wouldn't consider it a bug. I don't personally like the particular names that Oracle have chosen for their examples, primarily because I don't like the idea of naming database services after physical location in a standby environment. You can however, if you have a support contract, log bugs against the documentation and Oracle do correct the bugs - though unfortunately in the next release of the docs and not online.

  • Is there any way to reference a component and its properties in a variable ?

    I have two custom components. Only one ever displays depending on the currentState value.
    <componants:wrUnapproved
        itemCreationPolicy="immediate"
        excludeFrom="SQLSERVER"
        id="wrUnapprovedComp"
        wrIdLv="{parentApplication.wrId}"
        userTypeCdLv="{parentApplication.userTypeCd}"
        width="100%"
        height="354"
        y="25"/>
       <componants:wrUnapprovedSqlServer
        itemCreationPolicy="immediate"
        includeIn="SQLSERVER"
        id="wrUnapprovedCompSs"
        wrIdLv="{parentApplication.wrId}"
        userTypeCdLv="{parentApplication.userTypeCd}"
        width="100%"
        height="354"
        y="25"/>
    Now I want to refrence whichever one is active and dynamically reference it
    Like
    myComponanet.init();
    where myComponanet is either wrUnapprovedComp or wrUnapprovedCompSs

    Found my own answer
    var pp:Object = wrUnapprovedComp;

  • Is there any bug on ReadOnly attributes IDM8.1 ?

    Hi experts,
    it seems to me that IDM8.1 doesn't protect resources attributes declared Read Only in resources schemas.
    Even if an attribute is defined "Read Only" on a resource, it could be modified by user forms.
    Is it so?

  • Is there any bug in java.lang.String literal implementation

    Consider the following program:
    class StringTest
         public static void main(String[] args)
              long freeMemInitially=Runtime.getRuntime().freeMemory();
              String s="Amarnath";
              //char data[] = {'A', 'm', 'a','r','n','a','t','h'};
         //String s = new String(data);
              long usedMemAfterFirstString=freeMemInitially-Runtime.getRuntime().freeMemory();
              System.out.println("usedMemAfterFirstString:= "+usedMemAfterFirstString);
    Run the program it will return 0. But why? As the java docs and java specification says that string litterals is the reference to the instance of java.lang.String object.Then where does this string have been saved except the java runtime heap?
    Message was edited by:

    basically, the simple explanation is this:
    the string literal "usedMemAfterFirstString" and the string literal "Amarnath" are both instantiated BEFORE the main method is called.
    hence, no object creation is done between the first and second invocations of Runtime.getRuntime().freeMemory().
    If you take a closer look at the spec, it will confirm this.

  • InputFile Component: Change Appearance

    Is there anyway to modify the InputFile Component? I want to remove the input text field that displays the file path, but keep the same functionality. Is this possible?
    Thanks,
    Tim

    Hi,
    no you can't. What you can try though, use Firebug to identify the ID or assigned style class of this file. Then add CSS to the page that hides the input field. My expectation is though that the upload button goes away too.
