Is this a bug or a feature in JDeveloper 11.1.1.4?

Hello everybody,
when I try to create a new "Reusable Process" with the composite editor in Jdeveloper, nothing happens on in the composite design view! I can see the process in the file structure and I can also edit the process in the bpm editor, but I can't see it on the composite.
This looks like a bug to me. Can anybody confirm this?
Best regards, Chris

  • Is this a bug or a feature with audio regions?

    ok so I have an audio part in a project then copy/paste in a later part of the arrangement and after that change the size of the new copied part with the mouse(dragging from the end of it)it changes and messes up the original version as well. I just recently switched to Logic from using Cubase so is this some feature of having the regions linked together somehow or is it just working wrong?

    I found the part that talks about how copy/paste is supposed to work, and it turns out that the manual describes how people want it to work instead of how the app actually works. It says that copy/paste makes a copy (a new region) and the two can be edited independently. Copy/paste is NOT supposed to create a clone.
    Unfortunately, the app doesn't work the way the manual describes. Here's the relevant part from the manual:
    "To copy a region (method 2):
    1 Select the region, then choose Edit > Copy (or use the Copy key command,
    default: Command-C).
    This copies the selected region to the Clipboard.
    2 Set the desired playhead position by clicking on the Bar ruler.
    3 Choose Edit > Paste (Command-V) to paste the contents of the Clipboard into the
    Arrange. The paste will occur on the selected track at the playhead position.
    If several regions are selected, their relative time and track positions are retained. "
    "*Copied regions are actually true, independent replicas of original regions. Changes*
    *made to a parent region will not affect child copies.*
    If you want this type of behavior—where changes to the parent region affect child
    regions—make use of the Loop function (see “Looping Regions” on page 329), or
    create cloned or alias regions (see “Repeating Regions” on page 324).
    *When you copy an audio region, a new region is automatically created in the Audio Bin.*
    *The new region will retain the name of the original, with a sequential number added.*
    As an example, kickingloop.1 will be the name of a region copy, if the original region is
    called kickingloop. A second copy will be named kickingloop.2, a third kickingloop.3,
    and so on."
    Looks like either the manual or the app is wrong. Hopefully apple will actually read the bug reports and fix the app.

  • Is this a bug or a feature? Failed to access remote jar

    I tried this thing:
    I have this aaa.jar which contains aaa.class and Data.class. In aaa.class, I use URLClassLoader to load some class from a remote jar (http://xxx/xxx/bbb.jar. In bbb.jar there is a class bbb.class and bbb.class has a method to use Data. Note, Data.class in already in aaa.jar.
    I run this aaa.jar without trouble locally, i.e. by
    java -jar aaa.jar.
    However, if I put aaa.jar into my server and write one jnlp file. Then I run aaa.jar from Web start from another machine. I got error:
    NoClassFound Data
    Note, bbb.jar is definitely downloaded from server to another computer. I also signed the jar, signed jnlp. I also set allpermission in jnlp.
    I am quite puzzled by this behavior. Can someone from Sun explain this for us. I personally think it is a bug of web start. However, it could be a hidden feature. If so, what is the way to overcome such difficulties.
    Of course, I can put Data.class into bbb.jar. But, that is not the point. I suppose not to do so since in aaa.jar Data.class is already there.

    Another thing you could do is to set your URLClassLoader as currentThread's contextClassLoader at the begining of your application:
    public static void main(String[] args) {
    ClassLoader cl = YourApplication.class.getClassLoader();
    URLClassLoader ucl = new URLClassLoader(urls, cl);
    try {
    EventQueue eq = Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().getSystemEventQueue();
    eq.invokeAndWait(new Runnable() {
    public void run() {
         Thread.currentThread().setContextClassLoader(ucl);
    } catch (Exception e) {
    e.printStackTrace();

  • Folder contents not displayed - Is this a bug or a feature?

    If I import a complete folder structure from my harddisk (referenced file mode), I get a neatly reproduced folder structure in the Aperture project window. However, if I click on of the folders, no pictures are displayed in the Aperture browser. Apperently, you have to click on the automatically created albums within the folders to see the pictures.
    Am I doing something wrong or is this (another) badly implemented feature of Aperture?

    Feature. But not a very good one.

  • Could not register -- is this a bug or a feature?

    On "2012-01-01 12:20" the answer which I was getting for
    What is the output of "date -u +%W$(uname)|sha256sum|sed 's/\W//g'"?
    on my system was different from what was expected by registration.
    I replaced your expression with:
    echo 52Linux|sha256sum|sed 's/\W//g'
    and finally was able to register. Looks to me like a bug in registration.

    It does not look like timezone issue because of '-u' option for 'date'.
    From "man date" (GNU coreutils 8.5 February 2011):
    %W     week number of year, with Monday as first day of week (00..53)
    However I get:
    date -u +%W
    00
    Good that
    info coreutils 'date invocation'
    has valuable addition:
    Days in a new year preceding the first Monday are  in week zero.
    So, it registration does not calculate correct week number. They probably do not use posted expression, or their tool uses is of different version. Probably this issue happens only at the beginning of new year before first Monday.
    Still this could be a hidden quiz for new users...

  • Creating an alias - is this a bug or what??

    Please let me know if this is a bug or a "feature"!!! As I understand things (a few changes since OS 6.0.4 in 1989...) there are 4 ways to create an alias when one is in a folder. For example, I'm in my Applications folder with 300 items in that folder. Generally I put my aps into a folder with the name of that app and the word folder. (I used to use ƒ but read that Unix doesn't appreciate that symbol)-- OK back to the main point: ALIAS creation - 4 ways I know to do this:
    1. I right-click and choose Make Alias with the folder or icon selected
    2. I hold down the option and command keys and select the folder or icon, then drag it just a bit and voilà - an alias.
    3. I choose the folder or icon I want and then do cmd-L to create the alias.
    4. I go to the file menu after selecting the folder and choose Make Alias
    GREAT all 4 work (is there a 5th way?)--
    BUT when I do choices 3 or 4, then instead of everything staying in place, the alias is created and then the screen jumps to the very top - to the "A" or numbered labeled folders / apps!
    NOTE: My apps folder has the view choice to ARRANGE BY NAME. If I change this to none - then cmd-L or Make Alias just makes the alias in-place!
    BUT choices 1 and 2 also keep the window of my apps folder in the same location EVEN WHEN IN THE ARRANGE BY NAME mode.
    Again - is this a bug or a feature? Certainly annoying to make an alias and then have to go back and search for the alias... And note: If arrangement is SNAP TO GRID then choices 3 and 4 for creating an alias also have the screen jump to the "A" folders, i.e. the BUG!
    Any comments appreciated - this is a real pain as I keep many of my folders organized by SNAP TO GRID or ORGANIZE BY NAME.

    Thanks for your fast reply! There are 3 issues and I'm mainly concerned with #3- but I likely confused everyone with my long post - so let me try this:
    1. Moving Apps out of the Applications folder: You are right, it is best to keep the apps in the Applications folder. Especially Apple's applications - for the update and maybe other reasons and I do that.
    2. Creating an alias and where does the alias go: That's right, it has the same name and just the word alias added to the end so YES it stays right next to the original (especially when the folder is in the Arrange by Name view). So no problem there - mine is the same.
    3. Third issue is really my only concern: The act of creating an alias by cmd-L or the menu: In a window that scrolls, i.e. with many apps or several apps with large icon size (I should mention I'm talking in ICON view here)-- when you make an alias, the window automatically scrolls to the very top. So if you have a folder with 300 apps in it and you make an alias of ZEBRA FOLDER, then the alias is in the correct place but the window scrolls to the top (AARDVARK Folder or whatever).
    *ADDITIONAL INFO:* After several restarts - yup, this is now NOT happening very often. Mostly the window is NOT scrolling so perhaps I'm wasting your time and others with this post. Let me recheck the next few days and then post again- especially if the problem has disappeared... which it seems is the case... (I should remember to restart 2x when anything unusual before posting!)

  • Is this a Bug or Feature?

    I would not expect this to work at all, but it does:
    CREATE TABLE WDD.TABLE_1
    ID_1 NUMBER NOT NULL
    CREATE TABLE WDD.TABLE_2
    ID_2 NUMBER NOT NULL
    SELECT
    TAB.ID_1,
    TAB.ID_2
    FROM
    TABLE_1 TAB,
    TABLE_2 TAB
    WHERE
    TAB.ID_1 = TAB.ID_2
    I guess that it works because the column names in each table are different. Even so, I would have thought that using the same alias name twice in the same query would have caused an error.
    So, is it supposed to work this way, or is this a bug?

    It's a wonderfull SQL feature (of which there are many)...

  • The new version of Firefox does not seem to allow multi-touchscreen pinch/zoom feature. Is this a bug or is there something I can do to fix the problem? Thanks.

    Since the new version of Firefox (which I love, esp the reduced menu bars at the top, leaving more web page viewable space), I am unable to use the multi-touch pinch/zoom function to resize pages. the scrolling still works, and all worked fine before.
    Is this a bug or is there something I can do to fix it?
    Thanks for your time.
    Mx

    Not a fix but if it's just a web site here and there that you find yourself using the pinch zoom feature you can use the IE Tab 2 addon to automatically use the ie engine and the zoom works.
    You lose the other firefox features on those pages but as I said, if it's just a few sites it's worth a look.
    I sure hope the Mozilla community fixes this in their desktop PC version soon. You can't gripe if it's free so I just keep waiting. :)
    Their android and iOS version supports it so why not the PC version?

  • Is this a bug or a "security feature" ?

    I had a nagging bug in coldfusion where every once in a while
    when people entered text and I inserted it into an MS SQL database
    it would throw the error "Statement is not allowed." I got a clue
    when a customer put in the words drop and program in their
    description for something, when I took the words out it worked
    fine. I gave the datasource permission to grant, revoke, drop, ect
    ect in the advanced datasource options and poof, it works! So is
    this a bug or some kind of injection attack prevention? The text
    was actually formatted in an FCK editor and put within single
    quotes in an UPDATE statement.

    It is not a bug, and you have definitely disabled a lot of
    security by
    opening up your DSN like that. It helps to look at this how
    each of
    various systems look at it.
    On the ColdFusion end, it is just working with strings. The
    security
    settings in the administrator are basically string searches.
    I.E.
    Don't allow these problematic sub-strings in the SQL string.
    Anyone who
    has worked with more then the most basic string manipulation
    understands
    how convoluted it quickly becomes and how nigh impossible it
    is to make
    up a foolproof rule.
    Once the database receives the query string, it tokenizes
    what it
    receives and starts processing the commands. If one just uses
    <cfquery...> than everything is received as one long
    string and the
    database must make it's best attempt to determine which parts
    of the
    strings are commands and which parts are parameters and which
    parts are
    data. It is relatively easy to confuse the database in this
    process so
    that information meant to be data is processed as a command.
    This is
    the essence of a SQL injection attack.
    If one uses the <cfqueryparam...> tag or stored
    procedures, the
    developer more explicitly defines which parts of the SQL is
    commands and
    which part is data. Now the database knows what part of the
    SQL is data
    and it does not even try to tokenize it for commands.
    Thus the simpler and more secure solution to your original
    problem would
    be to use <cfqueryparam...> for these fields that could
    potentially and
    legitimately contain strings that could look like SQL
    commands so that
    the database would know to not even look there. Generally its
    a best
    practice to always use <cfqueryparam...> tags in your
    ColdFusion SQL.

  • FAQ: How do I submit a bug report or feature request or otherwise give feedback about Premiere Pro?

    The best way to submit a bug report or feature request is to use the bug-report/feature-request form.
    The Premiere Pro team doesn’t  necessarily see and record every post on every forum and social network, but we do see, record, and track every entry  through the the official feature-request/bug-report form.
    It also helps a lot if you opt into the Product Improvement Program.
    Also, be sure to use the crash reporter.
    We really do read all of the bug reports and feature  requests, and the software really does get a lot of benefit from  detailed crash reports.
    Don’t forget about contacting Adobe Technical Support or Customer  Service, too. For information on how to contact Adobe Technical Support,  see this page. (Note that you must register your product before you can open a technical support case for it.)
    If you have tried to get help from our support staff, but the service  was inadequate, I can help you to escalate your issue if you send me  your case number at kopriva at adobe dot com. You must provide me  a case number. I am not offering to solve your problem myself; rather, I  am willing to forward your information to someone if you have already  hit a dead end with our Technical Support or Customer Service.
    If you have feedback about the content of the Premiere Pro Help document,  then please add a comment at the bottom of the relevant page. You can  add comments to add information, to add links, to make corrections, or  to ask for clarification.

    Hi qwerty,
    Dun tink that creative customer support sucks cos I had been dealing with them in the past and I can say that their service are quite gd and fast. If you wanted a refund, I tink you need to contact the store that sells you the product. Dun tink creative will refund you though.

  • Is this a bug? come in to see the code please

    I am using Flex Builder 3 code name "Moxie".
    The basic idea is having a linkedbutton on a panel, then if
    you click on the linkedbutton, both the linkedbutton and the panel
    underneath catch the mouse click event. Is this a bug? I am
    expecting only the linkedbutton is able to capture the mouse click
    event. Or is there anything wrong with the codes? Thanks in advance
    for help.

    no its not a bug its the "bubbling" feature ( use the search
    to get more infos about the event handling)...
    If you replace the code in the function, you can stop the
    bubbling:
    public function lkMouseDown(e:MouseEvent):void
    Alert.show("Mouse caught by LINKBUTTON");
    e.stopImmediatePropagation();

  • Is this a BUG???  Database Export not including Foreign Key Constraints

    I'm using SQL Developer 1.5.4 with both the 59.47 and 59.59 patches installed. I want to do a database export from a 10g XE schema, and include all objects in the resulting DDL. So, I select ALL the checkboxes in the export wizard and when I get to Step 3 to specify objects, I don't see any of my constraints in the listbox... no foreign key constraints, no primary key constraints, no check constraints, nothing. Is this a bug, or is there a workaround, or what could I possibly be doing wrong? We want to be able to use the database export feature to easily transport and track modifications to our entire schema using source control compare.
    Any help or alternate suggestions would be apprieciated.
    Thanks,
    Matt

    Thanks skutz, we just figured that out this morning. Also, it should be noted that you need to be logged in as the owner of the schema otherwise selecting nothing in the filter will give you nothing, but selecting items in the filter will give you those items even if you're not connected as the schema owner. I wonder if that is the detail of the Bug 8679318.

  • Is this a bug in APEX or I'm missing something

    Hi,
    I have a table chr10bug( id number , sample_text varchar2(4000)).
    I am using simple form with textarea to populate sample_text.
    I have a report based on above table.
    The report query is select id , sample_text from chr10bug. The Link tab has Target as URL. URL is javascript:void(0); and Link attribute has a very simple function
    onmouseover="alter('#SAMPLE_TEXT#')"
    Now, my question is when a user hits enter in the textarea eg.
    User enter some text **User Press Enter**
    User enter some text again
    In the reports the onmouseover="alert('#SAMPLE_TEXT#')" does not work for recrod where users pressed enter key. (In fact none of the function which accept string is working) . If we do not press enter while entering data in textarea... the above function is working...
    Example is here....
    http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=32555:1 ( report)
    http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=32555:2 ( form to enter data via text area)

    Hi,
    Thanks once again for reply.
    I create two report with same javascript function alert('#sample_text#')
    CASE1 >> Javascript function call is placed in Link attribute section as ** onmouseover="alert('#sample_text#')" >>> This is not working
    CASE2 >> Javascript function call is place in URL section as ** javascript:alert('#sample_text#') >>>> This is working however I'm not able to have onmouseover feature.
    Any alternative to have onmouseover=myFunction('#COLUMN_NAME#').

  • Is this a bug in LR2

    Is this a Bug?
    I was going to convert a sample bunch of files to DGN to see how it goes
    with LR2. I had a directory with about 35 files in it and I used the select
    all function to pick all the files in the film strip display. When I ran
    the conversion it just converted the first file I picked even though all
    the other ones were highlighted. So I then switch to the grid display
    selected all the files again just as before and they were all highlight as
    before. This time all the files were converted to DNG just as I expected.
    Is this the way its supposed to work? Or have I found a bug?
