Issue in  pulling  the execution plan from awrsqrpt report.

Hi All,
In my production database , recently we faced some performance issue in daily job and i like to pull the old execution plan of that particular job from awrsqrpt.sql report but i got below error.
Interesting information is i can able to generate the addm reports & awr reports between the same SNAP id's Why not AWRSQRPT report ???.

Hi,
Are you using a cluster database (RAC), and running this report on the wrong instance?
This report validates the SQL ID you specify against the dba_hist_sqlstat view, so check there if you have that SQL ID:
select dbid, instance_number, snap_id
from dba_hist_sqlstat
where sql_id='b9shw6uakgbdt';Regards.

  • How to get the SQL Execution Plan from complex Extractors ?

    Hi

    Anybody has got a suggestion ?
    How to get this in SM50 ?

    Identifying the query is the hard part. If you can identify it(based on table access or some such parameter, getting the execution plan is easy in ST04 .

  • Tkprof not showing the Execution Plan for Statement

    Hi all
    using oracle 9i release 2
    I have issued the following statements
    alter session set sql_trace
    alter session set events '10046 trace name context forever, level 12';
    --then executed a pl-sql procedure
    after reading the traceout outfile it shows the Execution plan for statements directly wirtten under begin and end block and doesnot displays the plan for the statements written like this
    procedure a is
    cursor b is
    select ename,dname from dept a,emp b
    where a.deptno=b.deptno;
    begin
    for x in a loop --plan not found but stats are written
    select ename into v_ename from emp where empno=300; --does show the plan+stats
    end;
    what I am missing to get the actual plan in trace output file
    thanks in advance

    You have to exit sql*plus after running the procedure, example tkprof is below:
    declare
    cursor c is
    select ename, dname
    from emp, dept
    where emp.deptno = dept.deptno;
    begin
    for v_x in c
    loop
    dbms_output.put_line(v_x.ename || ' ' ||v_x.dname);
    end loop;

  • Same query at same time, but different execution plans from two schemas

    Hi!
    We just had some performance problems in our production system and I would like to ask for some advice from you.
    We had a select-query that was run from USER1 on SCHEMA1, and it ran a table scan on a huge table.
    Using session browser in TOAD I copied the Sql-statement, logged on SCHEMA1 and ran the same query. I got a different execution plan where I avoided the table scan.
    So my question is:
    How is it possible that the same query get different execution plans when running in two different schemas at the same time.
    Some more information:
    The user USER1 runs "alter session set current_schema=SCHEMA1;" when it logs on. Besides that it doesn't do anything so session parameter values are the same for USER1 and SCHEMA1.
    SCHEMA1 is the schema owning the tables.
    ALL_ROWS is used for both USER1 and SCHEMA1
    Our database:
    Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.8.0 - 64bit Production
    PL/SQL Release 9.2.0.8.0 - Production
    CORE     9.2.0.8.0     Production
    TNS for Linux: Version 9.2.0.8.0 - Production
    NLSRTL Version 9.2.0.8.0 - Production
    Anybody has some suggestions to why I experience different execution plan for the same query, run at the same time, but from different users?

    Thanks for clarification of the schema structure.
    What happens if instead of setting the current session schema to SCHEMA1, if you simply add the schema name to alle tables, views and other objects inside your select statement?
    As in select * from schema1.dual;I know that this is not what you want eventually, but it might help to find any misleading objects.
    Furthermore it is not clear what you meant with: "avoided a table scan".
    Did you avoid a full table scan (FTS) or was the table completely removed from the execution plan?
    Can you post both plans?

  • Error in DAC 7.9.4 while building the execution plan

    I'm getting Java exception EXCEPTION CLASS::: java.lang.NullPointerException while building the execution plan. The parameters are properly generated.
    Earlier we used to get the error - No physical database mapping for the logical source was found for :DBConnection_OLAP as used in QUERY_INDEX_CREATION(DBConnection_OLAP->DBConnection_OLAP)
    EXCEPTION CLASS::: com.siebel.analytics.etl.execution.NoSuchDatabaseException
    We resolved this issue by using the in built connection parameters i.e. DBConnection_OLAP. This connection parameter has to be used because the execution plan cannot be built without OLAP connection.
    We are not using 7.9.4 OLAP data model since we have highly customized 7.8.3 OLAP model. We have imported 7.8.3 tables in DAC.
    We have created all the tasks with syncronzation method, created the task group and subject area. We are using in built DBConnection_OLAP and DBConnection_OLTP parameters and pointed them to relevant databases.
    system set up -
    OBI DAC server - windows server
    Informatica server and repository sever 7.1.4 - installed on local machine and
    provied PATH variables.
    IS this problem regarding the different versions i.e. we are using OBI DAC 7.9.4 and underlying data model is 7.8.3?
    Please help,
    Thanks and regards,

    As a workaround, this is solved by granting select any dictionay (which I don't want) to the user A.
    Does someone have an idea about what privilege is missing?

    Hi Experts,
    We have a scenario, Inter-company PO with pricing procedure which pulls Material Price from Material Master (Std Price), similar to intra company PO
    Even after maintaining the std price in the supplying plant , system is not pulling the Valuation price from Material master only for a particular Material

    continuing my issue is it possible to that we donot have to change the gbb and vbr and still we can have the desired results.
    that is we are able to use different gl for debit while doing goods issue from a single stocked material
    or we want to have this result
    1.          repairs to p&m    1000    dr

    we donot want to change the GBB and VBR every time    or change the GL a/c while doing reservation.
    is there any third option where we get the desired result without changing or entering the g/l manually

    hi,
    phone works great but when on a call proximity sensor kicks in turns off the screen. When I pull the phone away from my head screen is still blank. The force hangup/lock is the only way to bring the screen back on.
    I purchaged it before one month onl. So i wont understand how it comes. Please help me. I am waiting for you reply.

    "Your face is so ugly, it broke your phone!" Ha ha. Get it? How I was joking there? About your iPhone not working correctly after... <sigh>
    But seriously, you said the situation only happens when you have been on a long call, so maybe the iPhone is just autolockng?

    Please read the forum FAQ on providing information for a tuning request, it describes how to generate an explain plan that can be shared.
    {message:id=9360003}
    This is an example.
    SQL> explain plan for
      2  select * from dual;
    Explained.
    SQL> select * from table(dbms_xplan.display);
