Issue loading ODS having single Data field when it is set to "No Updpate"

Hi Gurus,
I have a standard ODS object with 6 Keyfields & 1 Datafield.
I am updating it from an Infosouce with help of Update Rules.
In the Update rules:
The 6 Keyfields are mapped from the Infosource fields which has relevant data.
The one Data field needs to be set to "No Update" because there is no relevant field from the Infosource.
Issue is surfacing with this Data field being set to "No Update"
when I run the Infopackage even though there are relevant fields in Infosource for the 6 Keyfields none of them are getting updated.
But when I set the Data field to "Overwrite" and for Update method give some constant or write some Routine and give the Result as 0, the rest 6 Keyfields are also getting updated from the Info source.
My question is....
If ODS is having only one Data field, is it mandatory that I have to update it with some value ?
Can't I set it to "No Update" and load just the Key fields ?

Even I had to agree if there is only one Data field in the ODS I have to set to some kind of Update...
But.....I couldn't find it in writing (in document) no where from the Web.
Could anyone point out a document which confirms/explains this ?

Flat file data load - ODS - Look up data in Startroutine

There is a requirement that I have two ODS say 1) ABC and XYZ.
For Both ODS , We load flat file data.
First we load data to ABC for current fiscal period
During the data load to XYZ, We lookup part nos data in ABC for current fiscal period , if data there , for those part nos we load XYZ Flat file data.
My requirement is that , I need to fetch part nos data from ABC for Fiscal period < current fisacl period. Then I need to extract already loaded data for those part nos from XYZ and Mark the flag field as Non reportable .
How can we achieve this ?

I have done so. When I add lines of My Internal table data to DATA_PACKAGE, It gives the syntax error that both structures are not unique. We have several fields in XYZ ods but they are not in Communication structure.
Thats the problem. Also , if I write the code , will it be executed for each datapackage. I mean , for each datapacket process , my code will fetch whole data from ABC and then from XYZ. Repetion will be there?
Any other logic can i use ?

How can I populate a date field when document is signed?

I have 4 digital signature fields in a PDF form. Next to each signature field is a date field (m/d/yyyy format). I would like it so when the user signs the signature box that the date field next to it populates with todays date, then changes to read only (so it cannot be altered).
In Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 I have this form and it has the following fields
Signature1
Signature2
Signature3
Signature4
DateField1
DateField2
DateField3
DateField4
The Signature fields trigger a Topaz.GemSignPlus driver where the end user will be signing on an electronic signature pad.
How can I use Javascript to detect when one of those Signature fields is populated and then fill in the date to the approrpiate date field? I tried creating boolean variables initialized as false for each sig field. Then when the signature is done I try to change it to true, but for whatever reason my javascript detecting the value doesn't do anything.
I've searched the net endlessly for this solution. I can't believe I'm having such a hard time finding an answer. I mean how many places do you go where they ask you to "Sign and date here". Every signature based document I've ever seen also requires a date.
Anyway here's what I have. In Document JavaScript functions I have a script name called populate date:

I'm trying to change it to true see. My thinking is if its true than DateField1.value should print the m/d/yyyy in it from the built in Date() function.
But maybe I am not getting this context correct. I am new to Javascript in Adobe.

It's quite a round-about script... Why not simply use the signature signing script to set the value of the date field? The correct syntax for that is:
this.getField("DateField1").value = util.printd ("m/d/yyyy", new Date());

Focus lost in Date Field when the property autosubmit="true" is added

Hi,
I am using jdeveloper version 11.1.2.0.0.
The issue I am facing is when I add the property autosubmit="true" for a date field and if I am selecting a date value using date picker, the focus is lost for the date field. But when I remove the property autosubmit="true" for the date field and if I am selecting a date value using date picker, the focus stays in the date field. This I tried in sample application with the default converter and validator. Anybody can help me with this issue?

Can a today's date be added in a date field when the submit button is pressed?

I created a form with a submit button and the form is sent via email. Can the date when the form is submitted show up in a date field with the button is pressed?

I have created a date field in a dictionary with the datatype date.
In my webdynpro program to insert the date i am following the below format.

Hi Soniya,
Dates are internally stored as YYYYMMDD - so you must input them this way when you are doing in directly using ABAP.
IF SOURCE_FIELDS-REOBJVALTO is INITIAL.
RESULT = '20201220'.
ENDIF

LiveCycle ES2 - Auto Populate Date field when signed

Good afternoon,
I've got a signature field called "sgnPOC" and a date field called "sgnPOCDate" I'd like to have the date field filled in automatically when the sgnPOC is digitally signed.
I added the following to the postSign* event to sgnPOC.
FORM.Main.sgnPOCDate.rawValue = util.printd("mm/dd/yyyy", new Date());
and different variations including setting the date to yyyymmdd and like. It just won't auto populate. It passes the script check in the script editor.
any ideas?

I also tried this

Which also did not work, but wouldn't that need to know where to put the date?

Finding difference between Max date and Min date from single date field

Here I am with a scenario where i didnt find any solution in SDN and in most threads it is unanswered.
I have 1 KF which is a date field. With reference to Serial no, I want to find out the Max and Min date from the same KF. I created 2 CKF where the same KF is used in both CKF to find the Min and Max dates,

This is the way how I want the output where now I am able to get the values right till Max and Min and not the difference. I even created the 3rd CKF the find the difference but it is not working.
How can I find the difference between the Max and Min dates?

You have FM --DAYS_BETWEEN_TWO_DATES you can use this while Customer Exit.
Try to Have 2 RKF for Min Data and Max Date and create a formula/CKF on the same ..

SQLServer to oracle migration. Issue with table having image data.

I am using the SQL Developer version 1.5.0.53 Build MAIN-53.38. I am trying to migrate from sql server database to oracle. Sql server database version is 2005 and oracle database version is 10g (10.1.0.2 and 10.2.0.3). Both Oracle and Sql server databases are on windows-xp.
Everything (including data) migrated well except for the one table having blob (oracle) and image(sqlserver). I am getting the following error in sql developer while migrating data for the blob from sql server to oracle.

I have created sqldeveloper.cmd file as suggested in other threads and I am using the same java provided with SQL Developer 1.5.0.53.
The database alertsid.log shows the following error messages for this activity.
ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [ACCESS_VIOLATION] [0x34EF9E5] [] [] [] []
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kghasp1], [0x5F3B718], [], [], [], [], [], []

The error ORA-00600[kghasp1] refers to the problem with heap memory. I also restarted the database and tried the data migration for only this table but with the same error.
I tried it on both 10g release1 and 10g release 2.
Can someone please help me in resolving this issue.

Are you saying the Microsoft SQL Server bcp dump of image data failed? It has been tested, it results in a hex dump rather than a binary dump, hence the clob to blob, and hextoraw workaround.
What are the version numbers and what is the reproducible test case?

A record's field (SalesLEadLastModifiedDate) should be updated with current date and time every time any column in a record is modified. I'm new to SQL and can't figure out how to write this trigger. Could someone help me and also

Break it down into pieces. Write a small script that updates some small (but more than 1) number of rows. After updating the rows, write another update statement that will set your modified date column to the current date and time. Once
you have that working, you can easily convert that into a trigger. Pseudo-code would be:

update dbo.SalesPipeline set <some column> = <something> where SalesPipelineID in (45, 76);
update dbo.SalesPipeline set <your date colum> = ?? where SalesPipelineID in (45, 76);
select * from dbo.SalesPipeline where SalesPipelineID in (45, 76);
rollback tran;
Notice the transaction control statements. This will allow you to run the script, evaluate the result, and then revert all changes (leaving your database unchanged). In turn, this will allow you to run the same script over and over and over again
and achieve (for the most part) the same results with each execution. You can search the forums for examples of trigger code - just beware that many "solutions" are not necessarily well-written.

Getting a calendar to show up with a date field when using Adobe Standard 6.0.3

Is the calendar available with this version of Adobe Standard? I know with Adobe Reader 7.0 it is, but we have to use Adobe Standard 6.0.3 and I would like to make use of the calendar.

The calendar control was only implemented for windows in the AcroForms plugin for Reader 7. There is no alternative in 6.x.

Calculating difference of a single date field

I want to write a query that gives me the no of days between two executions.
I want the result to be like
4 days (between the first two executions)
15 days (between the next two executions)

Error with DateField fields when locale is set to French

Hi Guys,
I have the locale/language switcher turned on in my app def. When I switch the language to French and use the calendar popup (DateField) the date returned is in an invalid format e.g. '19-oct.-2008' The problem with the format is that there's a full stop after the month, which causes an error to be thrown when I try to save the row. Heres the error:
La valeur "19-oct.-2008" n'est pas une date valide. Exemple de valeur valide : "29-Nov-2005".
Where is this format stored? Is there a date pattern that is being used, such as in a property file? If it is being formatted programmatically where is this done?

The format is stored in your locale properties file generated by JHeadstart, and has the key 'datepattern'. The file is typically called ApplicationResources_fr.properties.
I guess someone accidentally put a . somewhere in that pattern, because (at least in JHS 10.1.3.3.85) the default datepattern for french is simply "datepattern=dd-MMM-yy" and works fine.
