Issue of under absorption and over absorption
Dear All,
Audit is going on in our client and auditor found that there is and over absorption of cost in cost center, which mean we are valuating our product at higher price and thus showing less profit in system.
They are referring the cost center report S_ALR_87013611 - Cost Centers: Actual/Plan/Variance.
Example
Labour cost in primary cost element against cost center 1210 is Rs 5000
Power cost in primary cost element against cost center 1210 is Rs 25000
And activity cost corresponding to that cost element is
Labour 7000 Rs
Power 35000 Rs
So system is showing over absorption of 12000 (5000+25000-7000-35000)
So please suggest as how to correct this as auditor saying that absorption should be equal to Zero Always, and hence want to correct the price of material also.

Go to Co01or CO02 click on Good Receipt tab here you will get option to maintain the under delivery and over delivery tolerance at production order level. There is no other setting than this and material master.

Dear experts,
We did cost center assessment and COPA assessment. But our financial profit is not matching with COPA profit. We considered all the cost elements except Increase/decrease of WIP, Inc/dec of FG and COGS. Actually the difference between Finacial profit and COPA profit should be under or over absorption. But that amount is not matching with under/over absorption in cost centers(diff between debits and credits in cost centers after excluding assessment cost elements and COGS elements). Vast difference it is showing. How to match this financial profit and COPA profit. Please help me.

I would need some inputs regarding matching of FI vs Costing Based COPA reports on the following issues:
1. Costing based COPA reports are normally build on Billing.
1.a How would production variances be mapped against qty billed.
1.b How would production variances related to SFG be mapped against FG qty billed.
1.c How would material purchase related price variances be mapped against FG qty billed.
1.d How would material valuation related price variances be mapped against FG qty billed.
2. There would be certain incomes or expenses which may not be allocable at all to the product for determining its contribution. I presume, here we can build some logic for allocation.
But the prime concern is issue no.1, for which, I have at least not been in a position to arrive at a logic.
Would appreciate, if you can suggest on the above issues.

Over Absorption in Production Cost Center.

We are getting the over absorption in cost center after doing of actual price calculation settlement. we have done the following transactions at month end. eventhough we are getting over absorption (i.e., credits are more than debits) Credits are activity costs are transferred from production cost center to production/process orders or product collectors.
KO8G settlement of internal orders to cost centers.
KSV5 execution of distribution cycle.
KSII execution of actual price calculation.
CON2 revaluation at actual prices.
CO88 Settlement of Production/Process Orders.
Even after doing of the above trnasactions we are getting over absorption.

The same issue i am replicating in the development server i created one assessment cycle i gave one service cost center as sender and one cost element group, the group contains 10 primary cost elements(GL's), i done postings with 10 gl's respect to this service cost center, in my assessment cycle i gave one assessment cost element in segment header the sender rule is posted amounts, the receiver tracing factor contains variable portions, actual activity and no scaling, in receiver i gave cost center group contains 4 production cost centers, sender values is share in 100%, version is zero the receiver tracing factor tab contains variable portions as actual activity and one activity i maintained, the receiver weighting factor contains 4 production cost centers and factor percentage is 100%.
Now i execute the assessment cycle in KSU5 i am getting senders in cycle but receivers i am getting zero, when i took the actual activity, variable portions and no scaling i have to maintain activity price in KP26 and this cost center i have to maintain in process order that is fine please explain me how the cost will distributed to production cost center please explain the procedure in detailed.

Lync client gets user photos by first querying the Address Book Web Query (ABWQ) service on the server, which is exposed through the Distribution List Expansion web service. The client receives
the image file and then copies it to the user's cache to avoid downloading the image each time it needs to be displayed. The attribute values returned from the query are also stored in the cached Address Book Service entry for the user. The Address Book Service
deletes all cached images every 24 hours, which means that it can take up to 24 hours for new user images to be updated in the cache on the server.
To troubleshoot your problem, please follow the steps below:
1. Navigate to
“X:\share\1-WebServices-1\ABfiles\000000000\000000000” folder. (ABS file share)
You should see some photo files in this folder as the following screenshot.
2. Delete all the files in this folder.
3. On test PC, delete local cache files.

4. Sign-in Lync with the test account.
5. Go back to the ABS file share, check if there is any Photo file in the folder.

I have just required the Audigy 2 ZS Sound Card so looking to install the latest drivers from CREATIVE'S UK WEBSITE. So I look into the date which is 9/4/200 on Creative's website. However I did abit more investigating into the issues from other consumer's from passed half soaked drivers that Creative are supposed to put right with their half asleep development team(what a joke!!).
AS I did more research? on this issue on the forums and hardware websites, it came across to my attention on a Brazilian I. T. Expert called Daniel Kawakami (surprisesurprise and I don't suppose Creative know anything about him other than trying to kick him the balls for his work to help others with their sound cards very good PR work Creative well done!!!!).So armed with all this information and believe me I have gone into alot of reading in the forums about the issues,and yes Creative Board Of Directors you are entitled to your Copy Rights,for now !!!
So I find out more about this super hero Daniel Kawakami? to Creative's miss givings to put right the Drivers for Consumers let down by Creative, I came across one of the driver updates for the Audigy 2 ZS Sound Card done by Daniel Kawakami, and Bingo most consumer's now have a working drivers by him.
So for all the hard work and precious time this Daniel Kawakami has done for Creative Consumers(including me) YOU SELFISH CREATIVE BOARD OF DIRECTOR'S go and kick him the face, so I will say this to you what about his rights as a creative product consumer? ,his driver copy rights and on top that his right to put things right that your team cannot put right in the first place. This is the EXACT PEOPLE WE NEED IN THIS HIGHLY COMPLICATED IT INDUSTRY, so what do you do you try and do, you bin him.
So Creative I am going to ask some questions and I EXPECT YOU TO ANSWER THEM with me as a CONSUMER OF YOUR PRODUCTS(customer is King not you!!)
1. The drivers you realised on the 9th April 200 are working drivers for the Audigy 2 zs for windows 7 ultimate.
2. So how can you convince me that they are working?
3. At the moment I can only trust Daniel Kawakami's? working drivers, since he has had over whelming praise for his work.What makes me think I can trust you with your drivers.
4. Your Drivers came out on the 9/4/200, Daniel Kawakami's Drivers came out on 9/4/200 its too close a call,since your development Team are too lazy to put things right, how can you convince me that you did not copy his Drivers into your download Driver website(I would not be surprised if you did, as it would certainly be a cost cutting exercise ,and taking away his copy rights for all the work he has done for nothing!!!)
5. Are you going to treat customer and consumers better service and support? in the Future,and that includes me,and 3rd party developers like Daniel Kawakami .

Creative will never respond. So it would be fair if Creative would publish his inability to speak and that even where the plates Audigy would work in Vista and 7. But by incompetence, since neither her new adapter works right, if it was to sell is poorly. Problems of memory above 4 gb, and so many others that Creative does not have answers; Daniel and Pax Drivers are alternati'ves, but which also has many limitations. I honestly think this time Creative come publico do a serious story, and describe clearly the limitations of your cards by putting an end-point on expectations, frustrations and forgeries. It is shameful that onboard realtek cards like that boards Creative work better; Actually, before it was a dream and pride have a CREATIVE product, became a nightmare and a shame. But anyway what to do, just wait a moment of honesty from Creative.

Has any one experienced issues with iCloud synchronisation and contacts over two or more devices? The primary machine is an iMac running Lion. Address Book was created from vcf file (backup of address book prior to moving to iCloud). iTouch replicates Contacts just fine and matches the Address Book on the iMac. The iPad 2 does not showing only 123 contacts where there should be 200. I have turned off iCloud on both devices thus erasing the iCloud content of both devices and staring from scratch with both devices with identical results. Even turned off iCloud on the iMac and erased the Address Book and rebuilt with the same results. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I am going nuts.....
To follow-up with this issue:
I ended up performing a security wipe on my device. The security wipe finished, and I was about to reconnect with Exchange when I decided to visit our host's web site to see if they had any articles covering the issues I was experiencing. While they didn't have anything specific, I did find a step-by-step guide to connecting a BB10 device to Exchange... and right there at the end, it said "Do NOT enable memo sync."
I contacted support, and the rep told me that OS 10 has an issue with memo sync and it can cause all sorts of unpredictable behavior. Now, whether or not this is accurate I can say this: So far, the device is not disconnecting and reconnecting like it was before. Problem is, is this a result of not enabling memo sync, or is this a result of the security wipe?
I may have overlooked it, but I don't recall reading anything about that anywhere else. I'm tempted to try re-enabling the memo sync to see if everything blows up again. At least that way I can see for myself if the memo sync is a real issue. Of course, perhaps it's an issue with SherWeb (our host) specifically. Hm...
Anyway, for those that were interested, and for those that may come along in the future with a similar situation, the strange behavior that I first reported is no longer happening. I just don't know if it was a result of a security wipe or a result of not enabling memo sync with Exchange.

It can only be serviced in the country where it was originally sold. Take it back to the US or send it to someone you know there to take it in for service.

you might have more than one inforecord per plant for same vendor and material.

Neeraj@iDevAfter a week's worth of debugging, I found the issue.
The Java type returned from the call was defined as ArrayList. Changing it to List resolved the problem.
I'm not sure why ArrayList isn't a valid return type, I've been looking at the Adobe docs, and still can't see why this isn't valid. And, why it works in Debug mode and not in Release build is even stranger. Maybe someone can shed some light on the logic here to me. -
Well as I said in the "question", I did a reset of the settings on my IPad2. however when it powered back on from resetting. it lets the the logo screen with the progress bar under it. The progress bar gets about 1/4 of an inch from the left then stops. After a few mins Ipad shuts off then turns on to the logo screen, then goes to the logo/progress bar screen, does whats said above, then off. That cycle just repeats over and over. Any help with this would be appreciated.

About 60% of the time when I plug my iPhone 4 into my computer iTunes comes up with the same error message: "This computer has been previously synced with an iPhone or another IOS". The of course I have the option of setting up as new or restoring. I only have this one iPhone and this is the only computer that I use it on!! Today I plugged in, moved some songs around and added a couple of podcasts, ejected the phone and went about my business. Came home a few hours later, plugged the phone in and get that stupid message again!! I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes per Apples suggested order, I have tried different USB ports but this keeps happening. (have not tried sacrificing a chicken or goat yet!).
I am on Win 7, iTunes Ver 10. I am at my wits end, I have been putting up with this for about 4 months now and am totally frustrated. I do not have an Apple store anywhere near me, so that is out of the question.
Any suggestions?The of course I have the option of setting up as new or restoring.
Have you selected restore from your iPhone's backup each time - not as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup? If so, as the old saying goes - insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
If there is a problem with your iPhone's backup in this regard or with something else, restoring from the backup will also restore the problem.
If you've only done the former, try the latter to see if this makes any difference. If not, doing so will not prevent you from restoring your iPhone again from the previous backup. Not sure how to proceed after that, but I'll check. -

I am running some code which lets me highlight text bits of text found with regular expression.
The code I have works fine
the problem that I am having is that I need to call setTextFormat() over and over again (possibly > 1000 times), and it becomes very slow (possibly because its redrawing over and over).
When commenting out the line with setTextFormat(), it runs brilliantly fast.
Is there a way to disable redraws of the textField while I make the changes to the text format, then redraw it manually?
Any help appreciated!

http://www.resultswebdesign.com.au/I think you should use a TextArea, and parse the text property. After parsing and adding <font color="#0000FF"></font>, set the result in the htmlText property (but retain the original text in the text property). That way you render once.
If you don't lie the TextArea border and focus outline set thickness of them to 0.

My Apple TV does not show up under devices, and more.
Okay, firstly, I am relatively new to Apple ptoducts. I was recently purchased an Apple TV and a 27 inch iMac by my lady. And yes, I realize how amazng she is. She bought me these gifts to ensure that the last two and the next 4 months go by smoothly. I was struck by a car while it was doing 65+ mph, than struck again by the same car, than ran over and jumped off of. Yeah.... So needless to say I have severe brain damage, lost memory, a leg that is now 52% titanium and worse, I can not use my right arm.... for now, it may recover with the next two years. so, I tell you this for a little "guilt" but mostly to excuse the formatting of this email. It was typed entirely on my iMac and entirely using one hand, and not my primary hand at that.
I am not new to iTunes, I had a few purchases before this issue. Between those purchases and my Apple TV "FUN" I have amassed quite a few: Seasons of TV and Movies.
1: When I log in to my Apple TV, I can see all of the purchases that I made using both the Apple TV and those that I made previously using iTunes on my Windows based PC. All is well. They are organized by type and sorted perfectly. That plus they stream quicky and completely.
2: When I turn on my iMac and start iTunes, I do not see my TV seasons or Movies under the "Library" section on the left side of my iTunes screen. I see the options, they are simply empty. I see no content listed within them.
3: I can however select the "Purchased" option under the "Store" section on the left hand side of the screen. Once inside that options area, I can click on "Download Previous Purchases" in the lower right hand corner of the screen. From there I can see all of my purchased TV and Movies, including those that I had previously purchased on my old windows PC and those purchased recently on my Apple TV set. That and I can download them and make them available to my iMac version of iTunes.
5: I am unable to see my Apple TV listed under the "Devices" section. I also do not see the "Devices" section at all, however I assume that is because it is currently emty.
QUESTIONS:
A: Can you stream data such as TV seasons or Moies while using iTunes on an iMac. Similar to the way that you stream them from your iTunes purchase histor while viewing them on an Apple TV? Or do I need to download them inorder to view them?
B: Is Apple TV shown under connected devices while it is connected to the Wi-Fi netwok? I can see my Iphone under devices when I connect it with a cable to my iMac. So I know that my devices section is working. I simply fear that my Appl TV is not showing up brcause of existing issues.
NOTES:
A: All of my devices are updated with the latest available drivers.
B: My Apple TV, iMac and iPad all work on the same Wi-Fi network. That and they are all connected to the same iTunes account.
C. My lady is using a different login for the iMac. Her iTunes is setup but is not usng my iTunes account, it is using her account and has access to her DATA. When I log in to the iMac, my iTunes is working and is different from the iTunes that is operating under her username.
Ok Guys..and Gals please help me out. The thing is, none of this is truly effecting me in a substantial manor. I can see my purchase history, I can download parts of it to my iMac via iTunes, and my Apple TV is smoooooooth. I mainly need clarification on the questions that I asked. Can I stream using the iMac, should I see my Apple TV under devices, and why do I not see my DATA under the library section of iTunes?

1) When I set up my iMac, I did not transfer any data directly from my windows PC. I simply used the same iTunes login and account. I have access to all of the files via the "Purchased" section of the iTunes store. If I click "Download Previous Purchases" text, I can download ALL of the purchases I have ever made.
2) I have the Apple TV 2, so good news, question answered. I thought maybe it was the Apple TV 1, but it is the Black model, so bam. Good response for you. Well the whole damned reply is an awesome response, just pointing out that one piece of awesome. I stated that it was an Apple TV 2, and yet you were still good enough to figure I could be mistaken, and provide me with knowleedge just incase.
QUESTIONS:
3) So can my iMac not stream the data directly from itunes, without download? Apple TV can, but perhaps that is something among many things that maker it unique, and awesome.
