Issue with Copy of events from Outlook Calendar to SharePoint 2010 calendar(mapped in outlook)
There is a issue while copying events in Outlook mapped SharePoint 2010 Calendar.
This issue only seems to happen when user copies an event from his Outlook calendar to the SharePoint 2010 calendar.
He is able to create a new event in the SharePoint calendar from Outlook.
He tried below steps, but still no success
1.
Open your Outlook calendar.
2. Open the event you want to copy.
3. From the File menu, select Info.
4. Click the Move to Folder button.
5. In the Copy Items To dialog box, scroll down to the SharePoint Lists item and select the SharePoint calendar to which you want to copy the event.
6. Click the OK button.
7. Click the Yes button when prompted to continue.
Please let me know if there is any possible solution for it.

I have done a test as your steps. I am able to copy an event from my Outlook calendar to the SharePoint 2010 calendar.
1. I suggest you test in another compute, perhaps your Outlook results to that issue.
2. Please create a new site collection, then test again, compare the result.
3. Maybe it will take some time before the copied event displays in the SharePoint 2010 calendar. So, wait a minute, compare the result.

It works here.
Control-Click the event and select 'copy'. Click on the calendar you want to paste the event to, so it is highlighted with a grey background. Then select 'paste'.

I've encountered this error myself upon occasion. If I remember correctly, it was a permissions/ownership issue with the some of the files I was copying. -
Issue with copy control of Delivery document to Billing document
Hi All,
I am having some issue with copy control of Delivery document to Billing document.
I am having two line items in Delivery documetn, one is for item to be delivered to customer and other which is created due to batch determination.
Now , when I create billing document (VF01) with reference to this delivery document , I want only one line item (for the one which needs to be delivered to customer).
I have used following things in copy contro from ZLF to ZF2:
Copying requirements: 004 ( Deliv-related item)
Data VBRK/VBRP: 007 "(Inv.Split (Rec/Div))
Is it correct or shall I use something else, so I have only one line item in Billing document.

File.copyTo - issues with copied Flash10 Project .app
I'm currently working on a project which has functionality to export a selected number of slides to a Folder, complete with a Flash 10 .exe or .app to play the files with.
I've been running into a major issue with copying the .app. Once the presentation has been exported from the Installed AIR app, the .app projector file will not open, it attempts to open and immediately closes again.
Funnily enough, it works perfectly when outputting from the Flash IDE (coding in flex) in the debugger, the .app file is copied fine and it works perfectly. It's only when attempting from the installed AIR app.
The code I have is:

I originally thought it wasnt copying over the .app directory as a package, but it seems to, so that was the reason for the trace.
I've even bought a copy of CS5 to see if the issue is resolved with the AIR 2.0 RC, it's downloading now.
I have no idea why this isn't working and I am on a tight deadline.
Any one got any ideas?

When running installed AIR app (Copy doesn't work):

When previewing from .fla in Flash IDE (Copy does work):

[EDIT] So it looks like I just can't copy from the applicationDirectory. But I dont want to have to include extra files with the installer I wanted to include it in the installer. Is there any way for me to do this?
[EDIT 2] I have tried a extracting a .zip included in the package with FZip and ZipLib, both produce the same results, the .app doesnt work. -

This should give you some good insight, I'd probably store them on an External HD on the old machine and then just drag and drop to the new machine.

To synchronize these libraries and lists, you must have Outlook 2010 installed on your client computer and you must have Collaborate permission to the library or list.
You don’t need any permissions for the user profile.

As required, I have asked my DBAs to grant privileges by executing the following scripts:

Outlook 2013 window missing Last Modified By information for Sharepoint 2010 calendar appointment
We have been running Sharepoint 2010 for about a year now, along with Office 2010. We have recently begun testing the upgrade to Office 2013. What we've found is that when in Outlook 2013 viewing a synced Sharepoint 2010 calendar appointment, you no longer
see the Last Modified By information at the bottom right-hand corner of the window. If you try viewing a shared Exchange calendar's appointment that is not on Sharepoint, you do see this information.
Can anyone else confirm this, and suggest whether anything can be done to restore the functionality?Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you can’t see the “Last modified by” information at the bottom right-hand corner of the window when you view a synced SharePoint 2010 calendar appointment in Outlook 2013.
In my environment, I create a calendar event in Outlook 2013, and the result is that I can’t see the “Last modified by” information at the bottom right-hand corner of the event window when I click on this event.
It’s by design that it will not show the “Last modified by” information at the bottom right-hand corner of the event window when we click on this event in Outlook 2013.
As a workaround, I recommend that you can follow the steps as below to change the current view to list view and show the information.
1. Open your calendar in Outlook 2013, go to “View“ tab, click on “Change View”, select the “Manage Views”.
2. Select the “List” view, click on the “Modify”, click on the “Columns”, select available columns from: All Mail fields, select the “Changed by” to add and move it up.
3. Go back to the “Change view”, select the “List” view and it will show all the calendar events with the “Changed by” information in a list.
And, if you want to set other settings of the current “List” view, you can click on the “View Settings” to modify it.

To get this done efficiently, SharePoint’s built-in calendar overlays are the way to go.
You can follow the steps as below:
Customize category column in the calendar list
Create views filtered by category column
Create blank view where the category filters for NULL value
Add the calendar overlays

Clicking Connect to Outlook in a SharePoint 2010 external list (ECT) produces the following message:
"The Microsoft Common Language Runtime 3.5 is not installed on this computer."

We have recently migrated from moss2007 to sharepoint 2010.We have a document library containing large no. of documents in it & for those documents there are some custom metadata columns apart from OOB library columns . We have user content DB attach
migration and after that we can see blank value under the custom columns for some records. However interesting point is we can see this metadata is showing for few documents.

What is your Office edition? When we create a managed metadata column in a Document Library, it will prompt that ‘Earlier versions of client programs might not support this type of column’. You should use Office 2010 to edit and create a document then save
to document library .
