It seems like I just missed the interval for the hard disk replacement program. I purchased in March 2009 a 24 inch Intel iMac . How much does it cost to have apple support at an Apple Store replace a hard drive?

My hard drive continually has the floating beach ball and will take massive time to fulfill a request. And then will not boot up...so then I have to do a restore and rebuild hard drive from a past saved time machine version. Works for a little bit...then the floating beachball comes more and more...until it will not boot up again. So then I restore from a previous time machine saved version....and again it works for a day or so ... until it happens again. Now it's happening faster and faster...so I think my hard drive is dying.

I'm planning to buy an Ex-Display MacBook from my local PCWorld but the casing has a pretty nasty scrape down the edge of the lid. I was wondering if anyone knew how much Apple would charge to replace the plastic casing of the lid? Otherwise the laptop is in perfect new condition!

Apple will not replace the plastic on the lid. They only replace complete components, which means they would replace the entire screen assembly. Probably bout a $500 repair.

Ever since I spilled water on my trackpad, the cursor has been going crazy. Most of the time it's either dragging the screen, clicking randomly, or moving the cursor on its own. Occasionally (although lately this has not been the case) it works perfectly fine. I was reading a few similar posts, and apparently I was supposed to bring this to the Genuis Bar... although, it appears that the only damage is to the trackpad, everything else operates normally.
If Apple can repair this, what price range am I looking at? My warranty expired a while ago.
Also should I not be using my laptop? (I'm currently using it right now )

It is definitely fixable, but the trackpad is part of an assembly that includes most of the Mac. Also, Apple is going to guarantee the repair so they are going to replace anything that could have possibly been affected by liquid damage including the logic board. This means practically everything is likely to require replacement, with the possible exception of the display.
I'm just telling you what to expect, since that is what you asked, even though I know you won't like the answer. There is no way to be certain of the cost until you ask Apple. Perhaps you will be pleasantly surprised.
Warranty would not have helped by the way - liquid damage is not covered.

Apple does not fix, they replace the phone. Cost for an iPhone 4 is US $149. Make an appointment at any Apple store.

I just bought my first Mac computer ever and I'm loving it -- and the battery life is phenomenal. I'm just worried that in a year it'll be half of what it is now which would not be unlike any other non-Mac laptop, but I really like the battery life this Mac gives.
