ITunes is showing music info in Hebrew

Hi, I'm new here and really want your help.
Earlier this evening, I was playing music on my iTunes, and when I opened it up, all of a sudden all the music info (Artists, Album, Genre, File Kind, etc) and the playlists were in Hebrew (the playlists are in English when highlighted, but the music does not change).

Does anyone know what caused it?
I have done a complete uninstall, but that didn't work.
I have restarted my iMac, but that didn't work.
I have deleted all duplicate fonts, but that didn't work.
Any ideas?

AirTunes not always showing music info

When ATV 2.0 works, it rocks. We can airtunes music and it shows the album art and music info.
Sometimes, it totally borks and shows "no info" and 1 hour for the song playing heh.
Anyone else seen this?

I ran into that last night. I had to pull the plug on the ATV and start it backpu for it to work properly again.

ITunes not showing music

I have all my music and itunes library on a Mac server on my home network. On my laptop, I cna connect to the serber, launch itunes and it shows the music on the server. However, from my iMac, when i connect to the server and launch iTunes it does not see the music. Preferences on both machines have been set identically, so both point to the exact same location for the iTunes media folder.
Why is it working on one machine and not the other?

I have no idea what is going on...it seems to only sync my music & apps. I don't know if something's wrong w/my iTunes or what....(I know nothing about iTunes)

I think I just solved this! I, too, was having the same issue.
Try this:
In itunes V11.1.5, there is a small line of choices across the top of the interface window that begins with, "Radio • Songs • Albums, etc.
Click on "songs."
Now, go to the iTunes menu > View, and select "Show sidebar."
Bingo! There is your Library; the list we've all grown so accustomed to, including ALL of our songs (not just purchased) and playlists.

the appletv will not display your movies in folders.
you could change the tags in itunes to include the genre in the "show" field in the "video" tab. this would replicate the view you want, but you will need to tag all your movies to do this.

But when the song is purchased and downloaded the Composer info has been deleted (and so has the copyright protection info that was in the comments window of the mp3's info in iTunes)???

Since your direct commercial relationship is with TuneCore, not with Apple, you need to address your question to TuneCore.
Tune Core often places the song at multiple music retailers (iTunes, Amazon, etc.) so you should check if the same thing happened at the others.
The fact that the Comments field was blanked out doesn't surprise me, but deleting the composer does.
Pls let us know what you find out.

In iTunes, why does music which has been ripped from a best-of CD continue to show the year of the CD release even after I change the year to the year of the song release in playlists?

I often rip music from CDs of artists that released songs in the '60s and '70s. When I rip the music, in iTunes it shows the year of the CD release, usually something in the '90s or 2000s. I change the year in 'Get Info' to the correct year, and it changes it fine. However, after a while, it will show the old year again, the year of the CD. This is a problem because I like to arrange playlists based on song years, and this messes with that.
Tell me: is there a way to permanently fix the reverting year problem? Also, when I spot a song that this has happened to, when I click on 'Get Info', the correct ear is still in there, and when I hit 'OK' it changes back. This is really frustrating...

In some cases the original iTunes Store metadata seems to be given preference over personal changes. If you are seeing this then
Go to Edit > Preferences > Store and turn off
Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases
Share details about your library with Apple
On any iOS device go to Settings > Music and turn off
Show All Music
Close and reopen iTunes and/or reset the device and you should see your version of the metadata for each track rather than the original store data. If not it should reset as you play through content, or you can use my script UpdateTagInfo to force iTunes to read the current data from the tags.

The Photos tab doesn't appear there. If you are on iTunes 11 on your computer then you may want to re-enable the left-hand sidebar via View > Show Sidebar (option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC), which might make it easier to navigate and my instructions may make more sense.
To sync photos, connect and select your iPad on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes (if you've enabled the sidebar), and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Photos e.g. :
If you select that tab you can then select which photo folders to sync to the iPad. There is a bit more info on this page. You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync.
If you haven't enabled the sidebar, then from your library click 'iPad' at the top right of the screen and you should get a series of buttons along the top of the screen, including one for Photos

My latest OS upgrade (to 6.1.3) resulted in loss of all music on the iPhone. It is still on my computer intact, but cannot get it back on the phone. If I click on music under the iPhone icon in iTunes, it shows me only voice memos. Help!

From the requirements point of view, you can happily move to iOS 6. From the user tranquility pov, it's a crapshoot. Remember that MILLIONS of iDevices have been sold, a couple of those just this past Xmas season and hence all with iOS 6 preinstalled. "Many complain in the forums" is a number that ranges in the 10's or 100's: i.e., a minuscule amount of the total devices out there. And. of course, nobody comes here to gush excitedly about how well his iGadget works; everybody here (save those of us regular users who attempt to help, we're not Apple employees) has a gripe, grumble or complaint.
I can tell you from personal experience that my i5 with iOS 6.1.4 works as desired. All my colleagues' iPhones with iOS 6 work as expected. And we have a particularly flaky Wi-Fi environment thanks to our less than stellar netadmins.
But in the end, it is entirely up to you. Will you bite the bullet, or wait some more? Check the new stuff that came with iOS 6 and decide whether or not to risk it.

Take in mind this is my first time to sync with this laptop(HP 15 ENVY) and as well my laptop is just brand new. just got it a week ago. so how do i fix this prob. and also when i open my itunes store and then view my account it says error occurred either debug it through Microsoft visual studio or close program. I tired copying all the .dll files to the itunes folder didn't help

I cannot address the sync services error right now, but the error that you receive when you change from sync to manually manage music is what happens when you change. Once you change to manually manage music, it erases all of the music and will only put the music that you want on the phone, content that you manually drag over to it. There is also an option to reset all data on the device with the next sync.

Hello to my always excellent community who always gives me the right answers. I switched my iPod Nano library from my PC to my new macbook air with the help of an excellent and courteous gentleman. The info on my Ipod and on iTunes still shows my Ipod Nano as a windows device, just want to confirm that is ok. Next issue, which is, as usual, is prob my wrongdoing. When I locked my iPod it used to show the time of day, don't even know how I got it to do that and can't remember if it stopped doing so before or after the swith. Can anyone please advise or help? In trying to figure out the above; I stumbled upon the link below which taught me how to change/update my iPod Nano to show Version 1.0.2. Mac rather than the windows version 1.x.xPC it was still showing after I transferred my itunes library from my old pc to my new macbook air......I didn't dowlnload the iPod updater 2006-06-28 for Mac and once I did....whoa!!! I got my calendar and reminders on my nano now it's like a new toy all over again, just follow the steps in the below article, if I can do it, a 2 year old can

You may want to do a Restore on the iPod in iTunes. The Restore button is on the iPod's Summary screen in iTunes. This will erase the iPod, re-install its software, and set it to default settings. If the problem is caused by data corruption in the iPod's storage, a Restore should fix it.
