    Hi,

    Thanks in advance.

    I already install. The others application can run on this AS but it's develop on other version of Jdeveloper such as 10.1.3.1.
    Actually, I used JAZN on my project but when I deploy on AS I got problem that user cannot log-in to the application (look like login is invalid but I already generate janzn-data.xml and orion-application.xml). I think the reason is AS will authen through OID. So, I remove JAZN from my project. After that when I deploy on AS, I got this error.

  • Java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com.sun.mail.util.SocketFetcher.getSocket

    I am recieving the above error in a FileNet Content Manager environment. The full stack trace is:

    at com.bearingpoint.utilities.EMail.send(EMail.java:31)
    at email.main(email.java:11)
    I have spent many hours, fiddling with classpaths, ensuring that the mail.jar, mailapi.jar, smtp.jar, activation.jar are all from the same generation of JavaMail. With my classpath set correctly I can run a simple program constructed to just test whether the box can send out email from the command line.
    The code for the program is:
    public class email {
         public email() {
         public static void main (String args[]) {
              try {
              EMail.send("10.132.147.62", "[email protected]", "[email protected]", "test", "test");
              catch (Exception e) {
                   System.err.println(e.toString());
    Where EMail.send() is:
    public static void send(
    String mail_server_host,
    String email_from,
    String email_to,
    String subject,
    String message) throws AddressException, MessagingException, IOException {
    send(mail_server_host,
    (Authenticator)null,
    new InternetAddress[] {new InternetAddress(email_from)},
    new InternetAddress[] {new InternetAddress(email_to)},
    (InternetAddress[])null,
    (InternetAddress[])null,
    subject,
    message,
    null,
    null);
    which calls:
    public static void send(
    String mail_server_host,
    Authenticator authenticator,
    InternetAddress[] addresses_from,
    InternetAddress[] addresses_to,
    InternetAddress[] addresses_cc,
    InternetAddress[] addresses_bcc,
    String subject,
    String message,
    InputStream[] attachments,
    MimeType[] attachmentTypes) throws MessagingException,IOException {
    Properties properties = new Properties();
    properties.put("mail.smtp.host", mail_server_host);
    MimeMessage msg = new MimeMessage(
    Session.getInstance(properties, authenticator));
    msg.addFrom(addresses_from);
    msg.setRecipients(Message.RecipientType.TO, addresses_to);
    msg.setRecipients(Message.RecipientType.CC, addresses_cc);
    msg.setRecipients(Message.RecipientType.BCC, addresses_bcc);
    msg.setSubject(subject);
    BodyPart bpBody = new MimeBodyPart();
    bpBody.setText(message);
    Multipart mpMessageBody = new MimeMultipart();
    if (attachments == null && attachmentTypes == null) {
    mpMessageBody.addBodyPart(bpBody);
    msg.setContent(mpMessageBody);
    else if (attachments == null) {
    bpBody.setContent(message, attachmentTypes[0].toString());
    mpMessageBody.addBodyPart(bpBody);
    msg.setContent(mpMessageBody);
    else {
    mpMessageBody.addBodyPart(bpBody);
    for (int i=0; i<attachments.length;i++) {
    bpBody = new MimeBodyPart();
    DataSource dsAttachment = new ByteArrayDataSource(attachments, attachmentTypes[i].toString());
    bpBody.setDataHandler(new DataHandler(dsAttachment));
    bpBody.setFileName("attachment." + new MimeFileExtensions(attachmentTypes[i].getValue()).toString());
    mpMessageBody.addBodyPart(bpBody);
    msg.setContent(mpMessageBody);
    Transport.send(msg);
    As said before all .jar files are of the same generation, yet when I run FileNet and the underlying content engine, and try to send an email, I recieve this exception. I have run out of ideas, and any help would be appreciated.
    Things I've tried (multiple times):
    - Removing any old versions of the jar files and replace them with JavaMail 1.3.3_01
    - Have the content engine specifically import the JavaMail jar files.
    While I realize some of you may not know what FileNet is, perhaps you have come across this exception before. Any new ideas would be more then appreciated.
    Thank you for your time.

    I haven't seen this error before so I need more detail to reproduce it.
    It looks like you daisy chained calls to various static send() methods from various classes. Could you write a static main() for the class with the send() method actually doing the work? In the main() write the test case and compile it, test it and if it still doesnt work post it. Please include the import statements as it is germain to the solution.
    Its much easier for me to help you if I don't have to recreate "FileNet" to reproduce your error.
    As an alternative....
    The following code I got from: http://javaalmanac.com/egs/javax.mail/SendApp.html?l=new
    its simpler than you're code but gets the job done (without attachments).
    I've tested it and it works with:
    javac -classpath .;c:\sun\appserver\lib\j2ee.jar;c:\sun\appserver\lib\mail.jar SendApp.java
    java -classpath .;c:\sun\appserver\lib\j2ee.jar;c:\sun\appserver\lib\mail.jar SendApp
    Ran on Windows XP, Sun J2EE 1.4/Appserver Bundle
        import java.io.*;
        import javax.mail.*;
        import javax.mail.internet.*;
        import javax.activation.*;

            public static void send(String smtpHost, int smtpPort,

                // Construct the message

                msg.setFrom(new InternetAddress(from));
                msg.setRecipient(Message.RecipientType.TO, new InternetAddress(to));
                msg.setSubject(subject);
                msg.setText(content);
                // Send the message
                Transport.send(msg);

  • " java.lang.NoSuchMethodError" by stub

    Hi All,
    On changing beans business methods return type and input parameter, on deployement the stub gives the follwoing error " java.lang.NoSuchMethodError" .
    Regards,
    Vishal Doshi

    Hi,
    It seems that the Web Dynpro runtime version of the NetWeaver Developer Studio and the version on the J2EE server are incompatible. That's why the NoSuchMethodError occurs.
    Update the NWDS and WAS to the same version (patch level).

  • Java.lang.NoSuchMethodError from CMP bean

    Hello guys,
    Iam trying to convert some of my BMP beans to CMP. I removed all the SQL from the EJB and changed my deployment profile. My deployment went fine..(i was able to generate the SQL's) and the tables were successfully created...but when i run the application it throws:
    java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: BookEJB: method ejbFindByPrimaryKey(Ljava/lang/String;)Ljava/lang/String; not found
    on ejbFindByPrimaryKey method..The primary key is of type java.lang.String which gets mapped to a VARCHAR2(255) on my table..Iam using J2EE RI with Oracle8i on win2000... My EJB doesn't contain the ejbFindByPrimaryKey method but my HOME interface contains the findByPrimaryKey method..
    ANy help would be appreciated!!
    TIA
    Clement

    hi!
    i think you should define ejbFindByPrimaryKey() method yourself, because its a requirment that you have to define ejbFindByPrimaryKey () .
    bye.

    I have read various threads with similar errors which suggested copying new versions of adf-faces-impl.jar, jsf-impl.jar and adfshare.jar into the project lib directory. However, I have tried this after JDeveloper started and the project was upgraded and I still get the error. Do I need to make any project or file changes in addition to copying the new libraries ?
    Thanks for any help

    Hi Trevor,
    weird - there is another thread related to this issue:
    Re: BUG 5930745
    Did you use the JDeveloper 10.1.3.1 Production or Preview version (see http://blogs.oracle.com/Didier/2006/10/22#a114)

    Thanks alot Matthew, reordering my classpath as follows when starting
    the server did the trick:

    Hi,
    You might try running ejbc on the jar file again. Also, if your server has a service pack installed, make sure it is at the head of the classpath when invoking ejbc.

  • WebDynpro : java.lang.NoSuchMethodError

    I have deployed a WebDynpro Application to a the J2EE server (SP17  ).  However the Webdynpro fails to run and returns with a "java.lang.NoSuchMethodError" error.
    Reading through the forums i see that this problem points to the J2EE Server and NWDS development WebDynPro Runtime versions being different.  But the NWDS version  is 2.017(200605050350) and the Server WebDynPro build being : 6.4017.00.0000.20060503180106.
    If i check the Plugin Information in NWDS for Web Dynpro Runtime the version shows 2.0.0, is the correct, am i looking at another Reinstall ?
    Is there something else i need to check ?
    Thanks,
    Daniel

    Hi daniel,
    I also faced the same problem today.
    I faced this while creating a dynamic node in my interface controller.
    Method i wrote was:
    IWDNodeInfo nodeInfo =
                   wdContext.getNodeInfo().addChild(
                        "DynamicPurchaseOrder",
                        null,
                        true,
                        true,
                        false,
                        false,
                        false,
                        true,
                        null,
                        null,
                        null);
    Which simply creates a node at runtime.
    And Error which i got is
      java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.context.Context.createNode(Ljava/lang/String;Ljava/lang/Class;ZZZZZZLjava/lang/String;[Lcom/sap/tc/webdynpro/progmodel/context/AttributeInfo;[Lcom/sap/tc/webdynpro/progmodel/context/NodeInfo;)Lcom/sap/tc/webdynpro/progmodel/context/NodeInfo;
    can you please share how did you manage to solve this error?

  • Anyone Know - java.lang.NoSuchMethodError:

    Hi, new to xml.
    Does anyone know what this error message can mean:
    java.lang.NoSuchMethodError:
    org.w3c.dom.Node: method getLocalName()Ljava/lang/String; not foundThis app works fine as a standalone on my terminal, but I'm trying to run it from a jsp on the server.
    Thanks

    You just had a thread about java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError. The answer to this one is identical: your server isn't using the same version of the XML software as your other system. And the advice about the classpath applies still, except: Your server is some software running JSPs. It doesn't use the CLASSPATH environment variable, it has its own method of deciding where to load classes from. This method is the one specified for whatever version of the J2EE spec it implements. So you'll have to read up on classloading in its documentation -- this can be quite complex.

  • Java.lang.NoSuchMethodError while invoking web service method

    Hi, I have a web service which has two methods exposed as
    A and B.
    I deployed it on weblogic server (7.0 SP4) and fired teh request when I got this error:

    <bea_fault:stacktrace xmlns:bea_fault="http://www.bea.com/servers/wls70/webservice/fault/1.0.0">java.lang.NoSuchMethodError
    I tried deploying the web service on another instance and there the method A was invoked but I got the same error when I tried invoking B.
    I tried it on third instance and there both the methods were successfully invoked.
    The methods A and B name start with capital letter (someone told me that method name should not start with capital letter but that does not hold good here)
    Any idea why this starnge behavior of web service?

    Hi Guys,
    I have solved the above issue by applying the PATCH 1 & PATCH 2 of the

    Hello,
    The problem is solved following these steps,
    "NWDS IDE is in SP04 whereas the WebDynpro Runtime is in SP01. So yo have to upgrade your WebDynpro in WebAS to SP04.
    All WebDynpro for Java patches are available on SAP Service Marketplace.Note 330793 explains how to download patches from SAP Service Marketplace. Note 1395865 explains how to find the Web Dynpro for Java related SCAs.
    Update your system via JSPM.
    Please refer the link to the official documentation for JSPM
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi711/helpdata/en/1f/c45b4211aac353e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm
    From WebDynpro perspective, we recommend you to apply both WD-RUNTIME.SCA and FRAMEWORK.SCA. So if any one of the archive is not mentioned in the 'SP Patch Level' tab, it is recommended to apply the same which is available in the service market place."
