JAI Mosaic from URL

Hello,
I create some RenderedImages from URLs (JAI.create("url", new URL(url))) and I mosaic them using the code bellow. The input files are RGB JPEGs. The result mosaic has unfortunatelly wrong colors. But if I save first the images on the disk ( JAI.create("filestore", ri, imageLocation, "JPEG", null), then reopen them and create the mosaic the mosaic is corect.
I am wondering if someone has an idea how I could create the mosaic directly from URLs. I would like to spare some time, avoiding saving the files on the disk.
Thank you.
          ParameterBlock pbMosaic = new ParameterBlock();
          pbMosaic.add(MosaicDescriptor.MOSAIC_TYPE_OVERLAY);
          RenderedImage translated =null;
          for(Tile tile:tiles){
               if (tile.x==0 && tile.y==0){
                    translated=tile.filename;
                    pbMosaic.addSource(tile.filename);
               else{
                    ParameterBlock pbTranslate = new ParameterBlock();
                    pbTranslate.addSource(tile.filename);
                    pbTranslate.add((float)tile.x*256);
                    pbTranslate.add((float)tile.y*256);
                    pbTranslate.add(new InterpolationNearest());
                    translated = JAI.create("translate", pbTranslate, null);
                    pbMosaic.addSource(translated);
          ImageLayout imageLayout = new ImageLayout(0, 0, width*256, height*256);
          imageLayout.setTileWidth(256);
          imageLayout.setTileHeight(256);
          imageLayout.setColorModel(translated.getColorModel());
          imageLayout.setSampleModel(translated.getSampleModel());
          RenderedImage mosaic = JAI.create("mosaic", pbMosaic, new RenderingHints(JAI.KEY_IMAGE_LAYOUT, imageLayout));

Actually, 540x540 IS correct for getImage(1). But I also get 540x540 if I call getImage(2) or getImage(3), etc.
The correct result should be:
0: 600x600
1:540x540
2:486x486
etc.

  • Can not read data from URL!

    Hello,
    I want to read data from URL (http://84.100.130.82:8000/;stream.nsv). But can not do it. Because when try to call function openDataInputStream() shows this error: java.io.IOException: response does not start with HTTP it starts with: ICY. How I can fix this bug?
    HttpConnection c = null;
    InputStream is = null;
    OutputStream os = null;
    StringBuffer b = new StringBuffer();
    String           response,
    responseLitle;
    c = (HttpConnection)Connector.open(“http://84.100.130.82:8000/;stream.nsv”);
    os = c.openOutputStream();
    os.flush();
    is = c.openDataInputStream();     // ERROR CODE HERE
    int ch;
    // receive output
    while ((ch = is.read()) != -1)
    b.append((char) ch);
    response = b.toString();Regards, Ramunas

    Hi, Im trying to do the same as above, get MP3 from a Shoutcast server.
    I got the same fault ("response does not start with HTTP it starts with: ICY") when I tried to open an HttpConnection as bellow:
    ============================================
    HttpConnection conn = (HttpConnection) Connector.open("http://64.236.34.196/stream/1074");
    Then I tried to open a socket connection as bellow:
    ======================================
    SocketConnection conn = (SocketConnection) Connector.open("socket://64.236.34.196:80");
    String get = "GET /stream/1074 HTTP/1.1";
    DataOutputStream os = conn.openDataOutputStream();
    os.writeUTF(get);
    InputStream is = conn.openInputStream();
    But then I got the following error:
    =========================
    java.lang.SecurityException: Target port denied to untrusted applications
    Could someone help me to find out what is going on?
    Thanks a lot!

  • How do I use the Parameters from URL to filter on Content Query in ItemStyle.xsl?

    Hi, I might need your help with code that Content Query under <xsl:Template...> that I need a filter for 3 parameter from url (from date, to date(for date range) and type.
    eg: www.mywebsite.com/pages/Filter.aspx?DateFrom=01/01/2012&DateTo=01/01/2013&Type=sports
    I've google for help and not sure they seem working so far.

    Hi,
    If you want to filter a Content Query Web Part with the parameters from URL, we can achieve it with OOTB of Content Query Web Part by adding "Additional Filters" in "Web Part Properties"->"Query". We can add
    three filters like:
    date is greater than [PageQueryString:DateFrom]
    And
    date is less than [PageQueryString:DateTo]
    And
    type is equal to [PageQueryString:Type]
    Then redirect to the URL: www.mywebsite.com/pages/Filter.aspx?DateFrom=01/01/2012&DateTo=01/01/2013&Type=sports, the query results will be filtered.
    Please reply freely if I misunderstand your meaning or there any other questions.

  • Getting parameters from URL: use of Special Chars

    I'm unable to retrieve the Special Chars from URL parameters.  Does someone have an idea where to look for?
    Examples where no Special Chars is retrieved :
    ...App?param=Aménagement
    ...App?param=Am<é>nagement
    ...App?param=Am%E9nagement
    I'm using this code :
              IWDProtocolAdapter protocolAdapter =
                   WDProtocolAdapter.getProtocolAdapter();
              IWDRequest request = protocolAdapter.getRequestObject();
                                    String param = request.getParameter("param");
    Thanks!

    okay, So if I use :
    ...App?param=Am%E9+nagement
    How would you then integrate URLDecoder.decode in the following code?
    IWDProtocolAdapter protocolAdapter =
         WDProtocolAdapter.getProtocolAdapter();
    IWDRequest request = protocolAdapter.getRequestObject();
    String param = request.getParameter("param");

    Hi,
    Add this line inside your run() method, right before your call to repaint():
    if (image != null) {image.flush();}Hope this helps,
    Kurt.

  • Failed to read wsdl file from url

    Hi all,
    I am struggling with WL 9.2, consuming a WSRP enabled portlet at the following point:
    Having created a proxy portlet, refering to the WSDL of the WSRP producer, I did successfully deploy the portal. When accessing the portal and consuming the portlet the following exception is thrown:
    com.bea.wsrp.faults.TransportException: Failed to read wsdl file from url due to -- java.net.ConnectException: Tried all: '8' addresses, but could not connect over HTTP to server: 'www.w3.org', port: '80';
    The WSDL includes a schema (http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema). The URL is definetely accessible by the server.
    I am open for any kind of support ;) Thanks in advance!
    Kind regards,
    Matthias

    Yes, they are all local schemas. The way ALSB works, even if the import path in the wsdl or parent schema doesn't exist, relative to the current directory, you can specify which schema resolves that reference. My WSDL imports several schemas, all of which import others. When I was done importing all the schemas and resolving references, all the references in WSDLs and XSDs were assigned and valid. However, after all of those imports and reference resolution, it still says the WSDL is invalid, with the following odd error message:
    The WSDL is not semantically valid: Failed to read wsdl file from url due to -- java.net.MalformedURLException: no protocol: /XMLSchema/PaymentServices/Resources/PaymentServices-200802.
    That path listed refers to one of the schemas imported by the WSDL. The reference to that schema in the WSDL was resolved, and it doesn't complain about that reference.

  • Can not read file from URL

    I have this code for loadbitmap() function:
    String s = getCodeBase()+sdir+sfile;
    System.out.println("codeBase is=" + s);
    URL url = new URL(s);
    InputStream fs = url.openStream();
    BufferedInputStream bs = new BufferedInputStream(fs);
    And the file is a .bmp file, so I go on decoding this etc. It works fine within VisualCafe.
    When I created a virtual directory in IIS and run this applet from
    http://localhost/ImageApplet/ImageApplet.html address:
    I get in 1.3.1 Plug-in this error:
    codeBase is=http://localhost/ImageApplet/duke/some1.BMP
    Caught exception in loadbitmap!java.io.FileNotFoundException: http://localhost/ImageApplet/duke/some1.BMP
    If a type this as address in browser, it shows the image.
    Could any one tell me what I am doing wrong here?

    You can try this, even though it is not supposed to be different from your original code:
    URL url = new URL(getCodeBase(), sdir+sfile);
    System.out.println("getting image from " + url);
    InputStream fs = url.openStream();
    BufferedInputStream bs = new BufferedInputStream(fs);
    I could understand a SecurityException but a FileNotFoundException... A FileNotFoundException... You are reading from a stream originating from a URL, not a file!!!
    Which line causes the exception?

  • "Create links from URLs" preference no longer working in sticky notes

    I work with reading other people's sticky notes in Adobe Acrobat X Pro (now version 10.1.1). When they wrote URLs in the sticky notes it used to recognize them as links; now they're just plain text. My Preferences > General > "Create links from URLs" option is checked ON. I aso tried View > Tools > Document Processing > "create Links from URLs" and it added two links but only outside of the sticky notes. I am on Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. Thanks.

    AFAIK, URLs inside annotations were never converted into actual links. I'm not even sure it's technically possible to do so.
    It might have happened if the annotations were flattened and the text in them became a part of the static text of the PDF. Then the URLs in it could have been converted into "live" links, but not before.

  • Get file list from URL/web directory

    Hey guys,
    I have created a script for After Effects that can download multiple images from URLs that are given in an array. Now ideally what I want, is to get all the filenames of the files in a certain browsable web directory to be put in an array.
    Unfortunately, I can't seem to figure out how to do this. Does someone have the knowledge here to help me out?
    Thanks in advance,
    Jorge

    This is more difficult to do than it seems. Since the files are on a remote web server, you need to find some way to get the server to divulge its local file structure, which is not something most servers will do. The absolute best way is to have control over the web server and run some server-side code (PHP, node.js, whatever) to generate the file list on the server side and then fetch it with your client/extension/script. Other than that it's almost impossible to get a 3rd party server to divulge its file structure as far as I know, mainly for security reasons. So the #1 question is: do you have control over the server/website that you're trying to fetch from or not?

    Hi Friend,
    Generaly if it is one time activity you can do it manually by copy paste in excel.
    But if it is weekly or monthly activity then you have to ask website provide to provide data in excel or CSV file and upload it into SAP.
    I have a situtation like this, and they (Rapaport price) provide it in CSV format with defined columns.
    So it is better to raise the issue to website provider.

  • Queries related to ADF Train Component, Region disable if 'No data Found' from URL service

    I have below few queries. I am using JDeveloper version : 11.1.1.6.0
    1. Train Component : I need to remove link which is on 'Train Stop' icon so user can't directly go to next stop.
    2. Hide region in case of Empty Result from URL Service Call :
         I have created a region  and in region put the task flow which have readOnly table calling URL Service data control.
         In case of empty result from service call, table is rendered and displays 'No data to display.' I don't want to show empty table in this case. and I also want to make region invisible (rendered=false).
    3. alternative of <optgroup> tag in adf: Do we have any alternative option to display <optgroup> tag in adf ?
    Regards,
    Niraj

    1. Train Component : I need to remove link which is on 'Train Stop' icon so user can't directly go to next stop.
    You can reference a managed bean from the view activity train definition to enable/disable stops dynamically:
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/issue-archive/2011/11-sep/o51adf-452576.html
    ADF Code corner has more train examples, just search for "train" : http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/adf/learnmore/index-101235.html
    The af:region is out of scope for the table. Instead use a dynamic regions that you switch to from a managed bean (see the product documentation about dynamic regions) and then you switch to an empty region when there is no values to display. Another option would be to hide the table instead of the region using its display property. Let me know which approach you go with and if you need additional information
    3. alternative of <optgroup> tag in adf: Do we have any alternative option to display <optgroup> tag in adf ?
    an af:switcher would do the same
