Java- Problem in tabbing order using Border layout

Though i have added components in particular order to borderlayout Panel,Order of tabbing is not in the order of components added?can any one say why is happens because the tabbing occurs naturally in the order the components are added to the panel . how to solve this problem ? Please.
Arun

I think that the border layout defines it's own tab order.
I think the grid bag layout does, also.
You could, however, try to duplicate the border layout using :
a) A box layout
b) A spring layout
Or, you could take a look at Focus Managers. That will allow you to set an arbitrary tab order independent of the component order or the default tab orders of the layouts.

  • Problem with Tabbing Order in LiveCycle

    I have a two page form.  The last field on the second page is an image field (the user can attach a graphic).  The problem is it won't tab back to the first page after this field.

    I, too, am having problems with tab order.
    I have a two-page form created in LiveCycle Designer. There are 66 fields on the 1st page of the form, and 65 fields on page 2. When I use Window > Tab order to examine the tab order, all is as it should be (except for one thing, discussed later). However, when I go into the Preview PDF tab (or load the form in Acrobat X Pro), field 4 on page 1 tabs to field 42 (on page 1). Additionally, tabbing from field 41 on page 1 takes me to field 43 on page 2.
    I can use Action Builder to ensure that the tab goes to the appropriate field, but that seems a rather kludgy way to go about it.
    And that additional problem: I've got three text fields on page 1 that are of type Protected. According to the documentation, "The protected field is not included in the tabbing sequence and it does not generate events.", yet all three fields are in the tab order.
    What (if anything) am I doing wrong?
    Thanks.

  • Please help me out with problems i am facing using Grid Layout

    i can't figure out what's wrong !!
    But the following codw doesn't make a grid of 5 x 4 rather it makes a grid of 5x2

    If you want the simplest experience out of layouts, you can try the custom layout I made. It uses the versatility of SpringLayout, but can actually be understood by humans. It has easily been my favorite creation b/c it has made my life SO much easier.
    Here is the code:
    import javax.swing.SpringLayout;
    import java.awt.Container;
    import java.awt.Component;
    public class CoordinateLayout extends SpringLayout
         //Container Variable
         Container cont;
         //Constructor
        public CoordinateLayout(Container ct)
             //Extend SpringLayout
             super();
             //Set Layout to Container
             ct.setLayout(this);
             //Initialize Container Variable
             cont = ct;
        //Method to Add Components -- (0,0) is top left of container
        public void addComponent(Component comp, int x, int y)
             //Adds Component to Container
             cont.add(comp);
             //Set both x and y SpringLayout contraints
             super.putConstraint(SpringLayout.WEST, comp, x, SpringLayout.WEST, cont);
              super.putConstraint(SpringLayout.NORTH, comp, y, SpringLayout.NORTH, cont);
    }And here is a basic program that just creates a frame and uses my layout to place the items. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
    import javax.swing.*;
    import java.awt.*;
    public class CoordinateLayoutTest
        public static void main(String[] args)
             //Create Frame and Panel
             JFrame mainFrame = new JFrame("TEST");
             JPanel first = new JPanel();
             //Create Layout and send it the Panel
             CoordinateLayout layout = new CoordinateLayout(first);

  • How do you set Tab Order using the Articles window in CC?

    I am in CC 9.2.
    The work flow I described below was working but then I upgraded and alas no joy.
    The instruction I found here seems to be obsolete for cc9.2. Tab order through the articles doesn't seem to work any longer.
    Basically. I have a log form with 3 text columns and 3 checkbox columns.
    I created the first group of fields.
    I created the article as instructed.
    I then stepped and repeated 10 times.
    When exporting to an interactive PDF, its not flowing in the order that I listed them
    As the other user stated "object/interactive/tab order" window is way to painful of a process. Can anyone help?

    I guess this confirms. Adobe... it worked before... do I need to down version my files? Because I have over a hundred forms I need to create and manually having to set each text box is going to be a major time and budget issue.

  • Problem creating sales order using IDoc ORDERS05 (Inbound)

    Hello Experts,
    We are trying to create a sales order using the IDoc ORDERS05 with process code ORDE for creating sales order. I am getting the following error "VKORG, VTWEG, SPART cannot be determined for customer 0000006000 , vendor
    Diagnosis
    No sales organization, distribution channel or division were sent to the IDOC. This data is necessary if a sales order is to be added automatically. If this data is unavailable, you cannot create a sales order document.
    I was not able to find the fields to fill the distribution channel and divison in the Idoc structure. I have filled in Sales organization in E1EDK14 segment as 3000.
    I am not able to figure out the cause for the error.
    Same data works fine from BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2.
    Please help.
    Thanks,

    Hello Suma
    In this case I would recommend to debug the IDoc processing.
    Call transaction WE19 and start the inbound processing of your IDoc in debugging mode. The error message will most likely occur in function module IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS.
      LOOP AT idoc_contrl.
    * SET/GET Parameter und interne Tabellen neu initialisieren
    * initialize SET/GET Parameter and internal tables
        PERFORM initialize_organizational_data.
    * IDOC-Segmente in die entsprechenden Anwendungsdaten übernehmen
    * Move IDOC to internal tables
        PERFORM interpret_idoc_orders.                    "<= check here
    * Prüfen ob gewisse Segmente gefüllt sind
    * check IDOC-Segments
        PERFORM check_idoc_segments.                 "<= check here
    * Prüfen und Ermitteln von Organisationsdaten
    * check internal tables and determine organization data

  • Guidelines, Form Fields and Tab Order

    I've been fighting a form for about two weeks now with Acrobat 9 Pro. I used guidelines to make sure I could get 2 buttons and a field aligned properly. I have 92 instances of this arrangement. When I reopened the file after I had worked on it for a couple of hours (precisely positioning the guidelines so that I could have consistent field sizes), the guides were gone. What happened. It has now happened three times. I ended up keeping the computer on for 5 days just because I didn't want to lose the guides.
    I'm having a similar problem with the selection for tab order. I have right clicked on the page on the left panel, chosen page properties and set tab order to unspecified. I then reorder the fields in the field panel and save the file. When I open the file again, the tab order is unchecked and the fields are not in the order I left them.
    Does anyone have any idea why I'm losing my sanity with this Acrobat form. I did it in Acrobat because I thought it would be easier than LiveCycle Designer.
    I am duplicating a print form. This means there are 92 places where I have a small button (visible but doesn't print) which executes a JavaScript when pressed to show another button (because it has an icon which will circle the date indicated in a field. I'm thinking I should have the small button on top, aligned on the bottom with the field for the date and the circle icon as the bottom button. How do I get all of these fields and buttons (a mere 276) to go in the right order and stay that way?

    In the left panel, in the Sort drop-down list, you have Tab Order selected, right? In the Tab Order drop-down list, is Order Tabs Manually selected?
    I am not able to get any menu by right-clicking on the page in the left panel. Can anyone tell me, is there another way to view the page properties while in Form Editing? I'm not finding it in any of the regular menus (menu bar) and I'd like to verify the setting Warren mentioned, for troubleshooting my own problems with tab order.
    EDIT -- Of course, as soon as I type it out, I discover the cause. I thought he meant the page in the Form Editing view, but no, I have to open the Pages view and right-click on each page. (Oddly, no options were selected at all. Usually a radio button set will default to the most popular option.) So -- sorry, never mind me.

  • Multi TEB Tab Order

    Using Captivate 8.01  I've set up a slide with multiple unvalidated TEB's on it.  I've also defined the TAB order using the Tab Order feature in the slide properties editor.
    I also have installed the trial Captivate to Google LMS Widget.
    When I preview the slide the Tab order is not as I defined in the Tab order feature.
    I have searched the web and this forum and whilst I have found multiple instances of this problem I cannot find a documented solution anywhere.
    In addition to defining the tab order I also placed the TEB's in the order I want them to receive focus on the timeline. But this has no impact.
    This is a fairly routine feature and there must be a simple solution.
    Any pointers very much appreciated.

    I have also tried using this widget: TabOrder widget [en] | Chris Dorna e-Learning  but it doesn't work and I'm not sure it's compatible with captivate 8 anyway.

  • How to update sales orders using B1WS in SAP 8.8 PL18

    Hello all.
    We are having a problem updating sales orders using Sap Business One Web Service ( B1WS ).
    We are running SBO 8.8 PL18, MS-SQL 2008, and all is fine when using the SBO client.
    But when it comes to updating sales orders through B1WS we just cannot get it to work.
    We can add new orders easily without problems. Updating orders always gives this error:
    \[ORDR.PayDuMonth\]\[line: 0\] , 'Field cannot be updated (ODBC -1029)'
    We have checked and verified multiple times that our setup is correct.
    Also the WDSL files are verified.
    We can update orders just fine using the sboclient.
    And using B1WS we can basically do everything, besides updating.
    We have also tried this on different company db's, so we are quite sure this is not
    something related to some general setting we missed, but who knows?
    We have tried different ways to "assemble" the order before updating, but it always
    ends with the above error.
    Here is an example of one of the tests, where we load an order by docentry,
    increment the quantity of all open lines by '1', and then try to update it.
            protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
                // First we login
                string sessionId = "";
                LoginService.LoginService l_login = new LoginService.LoginService();
                LoginService.LoginDatabaseType l_dbtype = LoginService.LoginDatabaseType.dst_MSSQL2008;
                LoginService.LoginLanguage _lang = LoginService.LoginLanguage.ln_English;
                string _server = "SAP-8_8PL18";
                string _licserver = "SAP-8_8PL18:30000";
                string _db = "my_test_company";
                string _user = "manager";
                string _pass = "********";
                try
                    sessionId = l_login.Login(_server, _db, l_dbtype, true, _user, _pass,
                               _lang, true, _licserver);
                catch (Exception ex)
                    Response.Clear();
                    Response.Write(ex.Message);
                    Response.End();
                if (sessionId == "")
                    Response.Clear();
                    Response.Write("No sessionId");
                    Response.End();
                // We are logged in and have a sessionId
                // Now load a valid open order by docentry
                try
                    OrdersServiceRef.OrdersService orderService = new OrdersServiceRef.OrdersService();
                    orderService.MsgHeaderValue = new OrdersServiceRef.MsgHeader();
                    orderService.MsgHeaderValue.SessionID = sessionId;
                    orderService.MsgHeaderValue.ServiceName = OrdersServiceRef.MsgHeaderServiceName.OrdersService;
                    orderService.MsgHeaderValue.ServiceNameSpecified = true;
                    OrdersServiceRef.DocumentParams docParams = new OrdersServiceRef.DocumentParams();
                    docParams.DocEntry = 31; // Docentry of a known open order
                    docParams.DocEntrySpecified = true;
                    OrdersServiceRef.Document order = orderService.GetByParams(docParams);
                    OrdersServiceRef.DocumentDocumentLine line = null;
                    for (int i = 0; i < order.DocumentLines.Length; i++)
                        line = order.DocumentLines<i>;
                        if (line.LineStatus == OrdersServiceRef.DocumentDocumentLineLineStatus.bost_Open)
                            line.Quantity += 1;
                    orderService.Update(order);
                catch (System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException ex)
                    Response.Clear();
                    Response.Write(ex.Message);
                    Response.End();
                catch (Exception ex)
                    Response.Clear();
                    Response.Write(ex.Message);
                    Response.End();
                Response.Clear();
                Response.Write("All OK");
                Response.End();
    I hope that someone has an idea as to why this happens.
    The customer often changes quantity or adds lines on their orders,
    and the only way to solve it so far has been to make a new order and
    close the old one.
    Thanks in advance
    J. Thomsen

    Hi,
    Welcome you post on the forum.
    Have you checked if you only update a specific line instead of a loop?
    Thanks,

    You can customize the look and feel of ADF Faces components using skinning.
    See a basic intro to the skin editor here:

  • JTable displays string in wrong order : my code problem or Java problem ?

    I have the following code that displays data in a JTable, most of the time it works fine, but I've realized when I have a cell with values like : "Snowboarding"+"[123456789]"
    It would display it as : [Snowboarding[123456789
    For a string like : "Chasing toddlers"+"<123456789>"
    It would display it as : <Chasing toddlers<123456789

    * TableSorter is a decorator for TableModels; adding sorting functionality to a supplied TableModel. TableSorter does not store
    * or copy the data in its TableModel; instead it maintains a map from the row indexes of the view to the row indexes of the
    * model. As requests are made of the sorter (like getValueAt(row, col)) they are passed to the underlying model after the row numbers
    * have been translated via the internal mapping array. This way, the TableSorter appears to hold another copy of the table
    * with the rows in a different order.
    * <p/>
    * TableSorter registers itself as a listener to the underlying model, just as the JTable itself would. Events recieved from the model
    * are examined, sometimes manipulated (typically widened), and then passed on to the TableSorter's listeners (typically the JTable).
    * If a change to the model has invalidated the order of TableSorter's rows, a note of this is made and the sorter will resort the
    * rows the next time a value is requested.
    * <p/>
    * When the tableHeader property is set, either by using the setTableHeader() method or the two argument constructor, the table
    * header may be used as a complete UI for TableSorter. The default renderer of the tableHeader is decorated with a renderer
    * that indicates the sorting status of each column. In addition, a mouse listener is installed with the following behavior:
    * <ul>
    * <li>
    * Mouse-click: Clears the sorting status of all other columns and advances the sorting status of that column through three
    * values: {NOT_SORTED, ASCENDING, DESCENDING} (then back to NOT_SORTED again).
    * <li>
    * SHIFT-mouse-click: Clears the sorting status of all other columns and cycles the sorting status of the column through the same
    * three values, in the opposite order: {NOT_SORTED, DESCENDING, ASCENDING}.
    * <li>
    * CONTROL-mouse-click and CONTROL-SHIFT-mouse-click: as above except that the changes to the column do not cancel the statuses of columns
    * that are already sorting - giving a way to initiate a compound sort.
    * </ul>
    * <p/>
    * This is a long overdue rewrite of a class of the same name that first appeared in the swing table demos in 1997.

    * <p/>
    * <p/>
    * <ul>
    * <li>
    * Mouse-click: Clears the sorting status of all other columns and advances the sorting status of that column through three
    * values: {NOT_SORTED, ASCENDING, DESCENDING} (then back to NOT_SORTED again).
    * <li>
    * SHIFT-mouse-click: Clears the sorting status of all other columns and cycles the sorting status of the column through the same
    * three values, in the opposite order: {NOT_SORTED, DESCENDING, ASCENDING}.
    * <li>
    * CONTROL-mouse-click and CONTROL-SHIFT-mouse-click: as above except that the changes to the column do not cancel the statuses of columns
    * that are already sorting - giving a way to initiate a compound sort.
    * </ul>
    * <p/>
    * This is a long overdue rewrite of a class of the same name that first appeared in the swing table demos in 1997.

  • Use of layout tabs in IS RETAILS

    Hi  Guru,
    can u tell what is use of layout tabs in IS RETAILS.

    In IS retail the enterprice architecture will have a DC associate with several stores (in sap terms these store and DC all are plants only). Practically in retail scenario, every month or fortnight a new store would be opened. These store would maintain material in a special order to improve the customer attraction.
    Based on the consumer behaviour in a particular region the products will be kept in shelf in some order. For example if the organisation gets Rs.10 profit / Medimix soap where as it gets Rs 15 Profit / Lifebouy. So the company needs to arrange the shelf in store in such a way it contains more no of Lifebouy in Row with some special tags and some less no of Medimix. This will enhance the customers interest in purchasing new attractive one which is available plenty in quantity.
    The model that is used for arranging the products in shelf or rack or cupboard of store in such a way to increase the profit and presentability is called layout. It is also called planogram. Because this layout will be planned few months in advance. This is done in advance to intiate procurement and replenishment of product for new store.
    Hope I clarified you.
    Reward if useful.

    Which method implementation of Pageable interface should return the page number ?w.r.t. your first question: don't return that number but return page n-1-i when page i is requested; your document will be printed in reverse order. Your class should implement the entire interface and wrap the original Pageable. (for that number n your class can consult the wrapped interface; read the API for the Pageable interface).

  • Creating Sales Order using Web Dynpro for java

    Hi SDN,
    I am new to Web Dynpro for java. I have developed an application for creating a sales order using adaptive RFC Model using BAPI. It's working fine when i create a single order. I wanna create SO with more than one line item. I have used the Table UI Element to do so. But i could not able to enter the 2nd item details. Please suggest me how to pass more than one line item from the Table UI element.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Basha

    Hi Basha,
    Do you need to display the header items and detailed items?
    If the BAPI Contains Output values in R/3 side.
    I mean to say if BAPI  contains 4 line items.u can get thru wdjava the followinf way.
    1. Create webdynpro application.
    2.Import the model.
    3.Create Customcontroller and model binding .
    4. Write the execute method in controller.
      BAPI b = new BAPI();
      WdContext.node<BAPI>.bind(b);
       give inputs for BAPI
    b.setname(" ");
    b.setno("");
    wdContext.currentBAPI().modelObejet().execute();
    wdContext.node<output>.invalidate(); in try catch
    5. create view or when u give the dynpro application its
    in the add custom to view and drag BAPI custom to view .
    6.Crete UI for ur table thru insertTemplate table directly mapp the  output values.
    7. deploy and run
    U can get the out line items .
    Or any thing else post ur requirement.
    Thanks

    nowadays have many user have problem with update to ios7 and need active with apple id maybe in the future in order escape from these problems must be stop use these products else. Because of simple user don't know about this technology and sometime just hear from other user that it 's difficult to use then force they change phone that use to handle to another.

    It is a feature to discourage the theft of iPhones by making them useless if resold. It's not going anywhere. It's simple: just don't buy a phone until you make sure that the activation lock has been disabled.
