JavaScript errors on absolutely every page of these formus, maybe even site

For those of us who "Display every script error" to make sure their own sites stay error free, these forums are really obnoxious. There are errors on every page here. The same even when browsing out of the forums. I have not been to a page yet without at least one alert box poping up.
Surely you have people who browse with the same settings???

So get this. After disabling, uninstalling, reinstalling both the extensions and Dreamweaver. Even deleted some new printer drivers because that was the only other thing that had changed, it came down to this...the DOCTYPE!
Not exactly sure why, but the DOCTYPE on my page had changed from
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
to
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN">
That's what broke the extension. Apparently ADDT needs "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"! As soon as I added it back in, it worked without any issues.

Javascript error on EP6, refresh page

Hello,
I work on EP6. I've develop a page (I use iview) which I allow users to generate and download a file on his PC. This page open a pop up windows which allows to open or to save the file. If I choose to save the file, when I come back to my page I my page is like frozen and when I try to click to choose a funtionnality I get a javascript error (undefined error). But, I don't use javascript function. I have to click many times or to refresh the page to be able to do something again.
I'd like to know if forcing the refreshing is a good idea to solve this problem. If it is, I'd like to know how I can refresh without getting event. I suppose that because my page is frozen, I can not get any event.

Error message on every page

I have an error message 'The requested file /admin/ForumAdminView does not exist' on every page. So I can't to change page from Portal Content. Could you give me direct link to Portal Content (like http://<server>/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/pcd!...........). Thank you.

Multiple JavaScript errors on Flex LiveDocs pages

The newest beta 3
livedocs
don't work properly with Opera 8.5 and Opera 9 browsers.
Most annoying being Show/Hide Inherited... links not working
properly. As it stands, livedocs are quite unusable in Opera :-(

Small consolation : iWeb is a very advanced piece of software. So advanced that even highly skilled professionals have difficulty understanding and using it.
Anyway, your pages are NOT the same size by design. Which can clearly be seen. But also by checking the source of the pages.
The Home page is 665px wide and the Contact page is 820px wide. That doesn't happen by magic. It's user induced.
So do what I do : pay attention to every tiny detail. Especially when it's your business. No excuse.

Spry tabbed panels java script error screwing up whole page when I reopen document in dreamweaver

I need help!
I am creating a site in dreamweaver and I am using spry tabbed panels for my content on every page. I've created 4 pages. When I go to reopen the pages after quitting dreamweaver 2 open and work just fine. However, for the other two I receive a window that says,
this document contains javascript code for a widget that no longer exists. If you don't remove the code, the browser may display javascript errors when loading the page. Would you like dreamweaver to find all instances of this code for you.
I've selected both yes and no options and either way my entire page becomes all jumbled. I've tried deleting the script in code view and it doesn't help?

How to place two tables at a time in every page in a smartform?

Hi All,
I have a requirement in a smartform where i need two tables in every page. These tables should repeat on every page with regard to the data thats getting populated in it.If one table has more data it should not push the second table completely from the page.

If you see in real time printing of Smartform documents like PO or SO or Invoice
we will see two tables data one is header data which will have a single record per document and Item data which will have mulitple records.
So header data is fixed in all pages and the Item data is printed in MAIN window and overflows to other pages depending on the data.
SO Item table data will be printed in number of pages where as the Header table data will pe constantly printed on the header part(top part) of every page.
so you can handle the 2 internal tables data as above

Javascript error with HTML Editor

HI,
I was wondering if anyone could help me with a javascript error which appears upon page load. It only appears in internet explorer,
This person appears to have solved the problem but does not explain where abouts they made the change required.
FCK Rich Text Editor aka HTML Editor Standard IE Error/Bug
This problem also appears on the apex demo of new features.

Hello Kevin,
This is a difficult issue as the init code for the editor item is being generated internally by the APEX engine, and we don’t have any control over it. As I see it, a complete solution can only be provided by the APEX team.
Until then I’m using a workaround, based on the original init code. The FCK Editor takes a standard textarea and convert it into the editor item, based on its init parameters.
First I’m uploading the FCK JavaScript code, using the page HTML Header Text (If you are using the editor a lot, you can define a page template to do that for you). The code is:

Javascript error for Inserting Pages from a source

Below is a script I wrote that isn't functioning properly on my large 200 page document that I need it to. Granted there might be a much easier way to script this, but I'm no expert. I have a 200 page document that needs to be 600 pages, basically every page needs to be copied twice (and obviously placed right after the original. So I have the original PDF, then I copied that PDF to use as a source document to copy from. (To clarify if I'm not being clear, the first 3 pages would be page 1, 2, 3,... it needs to be: 1,1,1,2,2,2,3,3,3 etc)

It gives me an error that I have no idea means, nor how to correct after only placing a total of 3 pages - so the doc went from 200 to 203 (2 of page 1 as intended, then 1 page of page 2, then for some reason it stops...
InvalidArgsError: Invalid arguments.

Why is it stopping? And please don't assume I know what I'm doing Thank you.

Have you read the Acrobat JS API Reference about the insertPages and the path value and restrictions?
insertPages now needs to use the "privileged context" when not being run as a console or batch event.
Safe path
Acrobat 6.0 introduced the concept of a safe path for JavaScript methods that write data to the local hard drive based on a path passed to it by one of its parameters.
A path cannot point to a system critical folder, for example a root, windows or system directory. A path is also subject to other unspecified tests.
For many methods, the file name must have an extension appropriate to the type of data that is to be saved. Some methods may have a no-overwrite restriction. These additional restrictions are noted in the documentation.
Generally, when a path is judged to be not safe, a NotAllowedError exception is thrown (see Error object) and the method fails.

Help! Why am i getting these JavaScript errors in Dreaweaver and how can I fix it???

This only happens whenever I try to access code view, and it won't allow me to add any more code. This is the error message I get:
"While executing DWMenu_View_Text command in menus.xml, the following JavaScript error(s) occurred:
Exception thrown in native function"
A third party tried to access my site, but the page froze, with an error message:
"Script error on line........."
I'm not sure if this has something to do with FileZilla, but now when I try to open it, I get number of error messages about, "failed to write xml file" and "Application Data\FileZilla\filezilla.xml (error 5: access is denied.)"
I've tried deleting the WinFileCache from Dreamweaver and disabled all extensions, but none of these helped.
Please help. does anyone know what's going on?

I get a Script error on every page i visit i uninstalled and re-installed still no fix

every page i load i get script errors and have to stop script i have tried uninstall re install and that did nothing wiped everything new profile and all and still no fix... running windows 7 if that helps

If you have problems with Flash in the future, here is some standard guidance that addresses the most common issues. I'm sure you've seen some of it before, but just in case:
(1) Make sure all recorders/downloaders that interact with Flash media are as up-to-date as possible, or disable them. These could be add-ons or stand-alone programs.
(2) Disable hardware graphics acceleration in Firefox and in Flash
(A) In Firefox, un-check the box here and restart:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced > General > "Use hardware acceleration when available"

Javascript Error after insert a Webpart into Page

Hi everone, have you ever experienced getting error just after inserting a Webpart into page? I'm using Sharepoint Server 2013. These steps what I did:
1. Create new page
2. Click 'Add Webpart'
3. Choose the webpart and click OK
4. Webpart showed on page (simple table form)
5. All ribbon controls are disable and there is javascript error on browser's console with message:
SCRIPT1004: Expected ';'

Per my knowledge, such error might occurred when we modify the HTML code of the page, through SharePoint Designer or Content Editor Web Part.
What web part you added into the page?
What if you create another new page and insert a list into it, will the error occurs?

Skillbuilder modal page 2.0 causes a javascript error in APEX 4.2

After installing the Skillbuilder's modal page 2.0 plugin in APEX 4.2, the following javascript error is shown.

Using IE8 debugger the following code seems to be at fault.

Check your popup page. You probably have an after-processing branch defined which will redirect to your original page. That is not necessarily bad, although i usually set it to redirect to the same page when using a popup. What will probably not work for you is the success message selector. If you defined "#success-message" as the auto-close selector, this means that the plugin will look for an element on the page in the popup for an element which matches this selector.
- What did you define for auto-close selector
- And on the page you redirect to after-processing of the form, how is the success message defined there
If (IF) you have set #success-message as the auto-close selector, and the popup is not closing, then this would mean that the popup message on the page does not match this selector!
