Javascript openpage, winow.open, newPageOpen ? which one

Question

I guess this topic has been covered here but, my links
formerly opened pages just fine with the following lines
this.hit3.onRelease = function(){
getURL("javascript:openpage('www.crazyhummervideos.com/send/recform.php')");
but no more, now the browser is returning error "pageopen not
defined"
When I use ("javascript:window.open ('url')"); a new window
does open but not the appropriate url

the code is in the the "Send To A Friend" email button at the
bottom-right of the FLV player chrome. Instead of going to the
designated URL it returns the example page URL with the new window
URL appended.
Advice? And why doesn't the old "openpage" command work
anymore

The short answer is "yes". When your first JSP is requested, the server processes it and executes myclass.someMethod() followed by outputting the HTML to the response. The result is then sent to the browser which executes the JavaScript and requests anotherjsp.jsp from the server.
