JavaScript tags case change

I an currently recoding a site to validate XHTML 1.0
Transitional. One of the changes is to make all JavaScript tags
lower case so that onMouseOver becomes onmouseover; onMouseOver is
not valid.
The problem is that DW rewrites these tags every time I open
the file even though I have made the correct settings in
Edit>Preferences...>Code Rewrite. I am using .PHP files and
they appear in the list of files not to be rewritten. Also, I have
set validation to XHTML 1.0 Transtional, so DW should know that
this is wrong!
This is very frustrating. Can anyone tell me how to stop
this?

Add an XHTML doctype to the page. Then you can use COMMANDS |

Need help in decoding javascript tag for HTML5 output.

Hello all,
I am working on a project in Adobe captivate 7 64 bit which consists of around 500 slides with most of the slides being text and image. The problem I am facing is very unusual which I guess I am the first one to experience (as per my search on google and forums). So, after I publish my project the output works fine in html (local and online) BUT when I run index.html (i.e., HTML5 output) the course does not run and screen is blank.
After spending a week on searching online and using the trail and error strategy I was able to find out that it was the URL text "F:\usrnew\purchase" placed in the the middle of the course which caused the whole damage. However the url was removed and the project was submitted.
After spending some extra time I found out that the letter "\u" which is a javascript tag was causing the problem for the HTML5 output. I don't really know much about javascripting but found out that the tag can be decoded using some programming strategy. Now this is where my knowledge comes to a standby and needs a lift from you guys.
Any ideas, help, knowledge sharing would be very helpful for me and all those who might face this issue in future.

Voila! The issue is resolved.
Solution: Change the single slash "\" to a double slash "\\".

Using Javascript function to change the value of a request variable

Have a javascript function that activates onchange within a form variable. Would like the javascript function to change the value of a request variable.
The javascript function is able to obtain the current value of the request variable ( which is 0 ) however I am unsuccessful in changing the value to 1.
I have been trying to use the following:
var vchange = 'request.changes_made = 1 ;' ;
eval(vchange);
Any ideas?

If the user makes a change to the content of the form, and then attempts to leave the form, a javascript alert pops up giving the user the option of cancelling the submit, returning to the form and saving it.
If there have been no changes, then the user is free to migrate to another page.
This process is to protect users from losing valuable information but not to annoy them with "R U Sure" messages.
Knowing the status of the form content is important to the functionality of the application.

How stop case changing in SQL developer editor

Dear Friends,
When I start editing in SQL developer(version 1.6), case i.e. formatting of words gets changed automatically.
Is there any option to stop case changing.

Assuming you are on SQL Developer 2.1.X try unsetting
Tools -> Preferences -> Code Editor -> Completion Insight -> change case as you type

2.1 EA1/EA2/RC1: Case change quirk from Formatter

Hi,
I love how the editors react to the automatic case change (as defined in the Formatter, not the button in the worksheet), but unfortunately I get its benefits less than half the time.
The problem is the formatter only kicks in after pressing enter/return, and only for the current line.
E.g. I go in an existing statement and want to add a new where condition. If I type on an existing line, it doesn't get formatted. If I insert a new line, the previous line gets formatted.
So this usually results in having 1 line different to the rest and/or not getting formatting where I wanted.
So my suggestions are to change the case whenever moving to another line (regardless if it was with enter/return, cursors, or mouse), and/or after typing words (on any whitespace), and/or change the case on the whole (current) statement.

Iphone outer case change

Hai all, i know this is irrelevant here. But i cant any place to post this question. I just wanted to know whether there is any way that i could get a new case for my iphone. I have dropped my phone a few times and now it looks badly battered. The touch screen is fine. But on the back side where we have the Apple Logo it is all scratched off. Does apple offer an outer case change.

I downloaded Sun's Java Run-Time Environment (v.1.4.2 02) last night so that I could use another program that requires it to operate. Everything went fine during installation, until the installation program asked me to shut the computer off and turn it back on before the installation would be complete. Since then I haven't been able to use my computer. I get the above message. I am upset to say the least. Please tell me what I can do to get my computer back.

This is not a Java issue.
This message only occurs on IBM systems; laptop, workstations and servers. The full value is 0176 and is hexadecimal.
The important line here is:
176 The system has been tampered with.
My inerpretation: For older servers by HP and IBM, they often forced you to run their configuration utility after you make hardware changes or if a stored checksum mismatches (similar to CMOS checksum error on personal systems).

Data case changes automatically somtimes

Hi All,
I have observerd sometimes data case automatically changes for few records while syndication from MDM.
For example : if a field data came Abc format and loads in repository same format but while auto syndication somtiems its case changed (Same map), even this not happens with all records.
Please provide what could be the possible reason.

As we knew Syndication server used datatime stamp for syndicate only records which was updated
But syndication process having few time, during that time syndicating record may be update and datatime stamp will change
In next syndication step that record will syndicate again

Safari 2.0: javascript can't change title of popup "Untitled"

With a javascript generated popup window, Safari 2.+ titles the window "Untitled" and will not allow the title to be changed with either html "<title>" tag or with javascript "document.title()" property. Safari 1.+, IE 5.0 and Firefox 1.+ all reset the window title properly using javascript. Does anyone know of a simple workaround to fix this bug in Safari 2.+?

Did the code tag implementation change?

Over in the UIX forum, we have been relying on the ability to embed XML content inside of a "code" tag - and for as long as I can remember this would automatically escape HTML/XML start/end tags so that they would be displayed in the message content. For example, users have been posting uiXML samples like this:
(Note, in this sample I have added a trailing whitespace in the opening code tag so that the forum software will display the tag instead of interpret it. Also, I have explicitly escaped < and > myself so that they will be displayed.)

Previously, the code tag would automatically handle escaping the open/close tag characters (< and >) to the appropriate character entities (&lt; and &gt;). This no longer seems to be happening. The end result is that embedded XML code is sent back to the browser unescaped, and ends up being interpreted by the browser as HTML - which generally makes such content unreadable. Here is what the above sample looks like now:

This change in behavior has two really bad consequences:

Was there a change in behavior in how the code tag handles HTML/XML escaping? Can we get the old behavior back?

Jsp ok but IDE display errors in javascript+tags and taglibs include file

The JDev 10.1.3 IDE display errors on running JSP in following cases:
1) When tag libs declaration in include file.
2) When jstl/struts tags are used in javascript
JDev 10.1.2 didn't diplay those errors

IDE displayed errors => jsp runs and compiles ok.
It is not obvious to reproduce those errors because they vary upon external or internal tag declaration.
Remark:
I tried replacing jsp tag declaration:

You don't have to remove the tag declaration, but I prefer to keep my jsp as clean as possible.
But I found another problem, this time it's a serious one, when you reformat the source ALL tag prefixes are removed.

Tag case : very urgent

is it possible to change the case of the tags of the soapdocument...
there are two methods in soaddocument class to change the case of the tag... its default (uppercase) and mixcase (upper +lower case Eg:Name) ..
i want to change the case of the tag to lower case completely (Eg :name)

Why does it seem that most newbies threads are urgent? Is it a lack of knowledge? Unwilling to use the F1 help in the Editor?

When iTunes upgraded, many of my song tags were changed by iTunes. This happened again when an update was sent this week. Is there any way to avoid this happening again in the future?

When I downloaded the new iTunes, it changed the tags on some of my tracks. As a result, I had to fix them manually. When I downloaded another upgrade this week, my tags changed again. How can I prevent this from happening in the future?

The cricual thing is to have a complete backup of your library that you could restore if needed.
What changes are you noticing? There appear to be some new as yet not well documented features designed to sync data across multiple libraries/devices which may have unwanted side effects.
