JCOM manpulation error: weblogic Error BEA-210000 Export of object barred
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to access a COM (MSWORD.OLB ) object from weblogic .
I've writing a sample Java proggram to access some methods of my COM Object.
But during the runtime, i got the following BEA weblogic error :

Any ideas to solve this problem ?
Thanks

Sorry for delay!!
I tried W2KSP1, W2KSP2 and XPpro on several P3 / P4 with 256 / 521 RAM.

Hi,
One last question. Can you tell me more about what OS you have theWLServer
installed on (machine type, OS and version)?
Thanks in advance.

What version of WLS you are using?

I made a simple JCom-Helper identical to the one, delivered in the

Trying to create an object in VB couses the server to say:

In the FAQ I can read:
065070
There is a known issue with the logging of WebLogic Server jCOMerror
messages. COM warnings are incorrectly logged as errors, as in thisexample:
<Error> <COM> <210000> <IOXIDResolveropNum 5 invoked. This method is
not
implemented.>
So: I know, this is only a warning, but where is my object? ;-)
Can s/o tell me?
Many thanks,
Uli

Any help is really appreciated!
Thanks,
SKHi Faisal -
is your domain in development mode or production mode?
- While configuring my domian , I had selected Prod Mode, but pon start up when I see in admin server console, it is starting in developement mode already ?
Any idea how, why ?
if its production mode you can switch to development mode, change all the credentials in the config.xml and configurations under sub folders to cleartext and start the server..
- Let me still try these and get back to you.
Thanks,

Edited by: Sandor on Dec 9, 2010 5:04 PMIn that case (with customizations in xlWebApp.war), I will try to deploy the DELIVERED xlWebApp.war first.
If the problem happens there too, then it sould be environmental related (something changed).
OIM 9.1.0.2 is the latest Version of OIM 10g releases....
It is a Upgrade only Release and direct deployment is not possible.
You need to build OIM 9.1.0.1 - Then apply/upgrade to 9.1.0.2

Is there a way to change the Weblogic error page (404,500,...)?
By default we removed the "pumpkin" page. Many customers are not interested
in having the term WebLogic displayed by default. But, you should still be
able to change this error Page. The way to do this is inside of your Web
application deployment descriptor Web.XML.

I can't remember if it was in WebLogic 4.5 or 5.1, but we used to get a404
weblogic error page with a gold background and a graphic symbol of "w" for
weblogic. Now in WebLogic 6.0 we just get a plain white page with black
text for the 404 error. Is that available at all in WebLogic 6.0? Ifnot,
how can we get it? It seems like in the previous versions of WebLogicthey
allowed you to customize you error pages if you wanted in
weblogic.properties
I can't find any reference to doing that in WL 6.0 through the Console
(never mind that I can't find an actual weblogic.properties or equivalentto
alter manually). So any insight/suggestions on this issue?

On start node ina cluster a have Error OSB-Reporting BEA-473500
every time that I start my node in the cluster I have this error:
<Error> <OSB-Reporting> <BEA-473500>
I'm using Oracle Service Bus 11g
what I should do to solve this?Hi Alex,
I would suggest you to check with your network team because BEA-000109 error which points to the NIC card and the network issues.
Ensure that no physical problems exist in your network:
- Verify the network connection for each machine that hosts servers within the cluster.
- Verify that all components of the network, including routers and DNS servers, are connected and functioning correctly.
- Address conflicts within a network can disrupt multicast communications.
- Use the netstat utility to verify that no other network resources are using the cluster multicast address.
- Verify that each machine has a unique IP address.
Workaround: Try using a different multicast address.
Detail Information about the Error Code BEA-000109
Error: An error occurred while sending multicast message:
Description: An IO error occurred while trying to send a message over multicast.
Cause: An error occurred while trying to send a message over multicast.
Action :WebLogic Server will try to recover from this error. If the problem continues to persist, make sure that the network infrastructure and NIC are functioning properly.
a) Suggest you to change the address and port to be certainly unique to have another try.
Is your machine multihomed for managed server?
b) If it is, try specifying Interface Address for each server.
From admin console, you can go to the managed server -> Configuration -> Cluster ->
Interface Address.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,

Oracle errors in Weblogic Error logs appear in non english
We have a problem with weblogic error logging. Specifically, in a managed server's log file, Oracle errors such as ORA-XXXX show in Greek, not English. We are assuming
that this is because the timezone is Europe/Athens. However, the weblogic application server runs with user.language=en, user.country=US. What's more, there are 4 application servers and 2 of them have this problem. The oracle database is accessed via weblogic datasources.
Oracle database server Setup: Oracle Server 11gR2 running on Oracle Linux 64 bit, timezone set to Europe/Athens
Weblogic Server: Weblogic 10.3.5 running on Oracle Linux 64 bit, timezone set to Europe/Athens
The managed server, according to jrockit, the jvm runs with the following language related system properties:
user.language=en, user.country=US, user.timezone=Europe/Athens
The question is: How do we tell oracle / weblogic to log english text for the ORA errors?
Thanks,
ChrisI digged in the weblogic installation directory and it seems like the domain configuration wizard messed up the jdbc configs for the data sources.
The config xml files for the data sources in the /domain root/config/jdbc directory had oracle driver but the test query was for pointbase. I double checked from the database.xml file in the init-info directory and corrected the entry in the datasource config xmls and voila!.. the errors were gone.
I am not sure if this was the right approach and whether i have solved the issue or simply patched it.. so I am keeping the question open. If any one has any inputs I will be grateful.
If the mods/admins feel that the thread should be marked as solved I will surely do so.
Thanks. -
Error During INSTALL of Application Export File
An error is reported during INSTALL of an application that I am trying to copy (Import/Install) from a "development" Work Space into a "production" Work Space. The production (target) Work Space is on the same HTML DB instance as the development Work Space.
I am receiving the following INSTALL error:
ORA-20001: GET_BLOCK Error. ORA-20001: GET_STMT error. ORA-20001: Execution of the statement was unsuccessful. ORA-06550: line 15, column 1: PLS-00103: Encountered the symbol ",'39','RD8','8','S','10','U','43','UD','41','UG','11','W')) END)" when expecting one of the following: . ( * @ % & = - + ; < / > at in is mod remainder not rem <an exponent (**)> <> or != or ~= >= <=
Following is some pertinent (hopefully) information:
The above INSTALL error takes exception to part of a Region Select (sql) that works fine in the development Work Space.
The common HTML DB (v1.6) instance is on UNIX.
A new Work Space was created on the same instance.
A new schema name was created during creation of the new Work Space. However, this schema does not point to a database. (We were not certain how to setup the schema to parse to our live database.) I will be running DBLINK upon production application startup in order to access the database objects.
EXPORT INFO -
File Format: UNIX (also, tried DOS but received same error during INSTALL)
IMPORT INFO -
File Type: Application/Page Export
File Character Set: Western European Windows 1252
Target Work Space is newly created on the same HTML DB instance.
INSTALL INFO -
*Parse As Schema: COLLIVE17 (Again, this schema does not parse to a database. I intend to use DBLINK.)
*Build Status: Run and Build Application
Please refer to above error message.
Again, any insights or suggestions are appreciated.Urgently need help! I've read several other Forum messages having a related problem but none having same Install error message.
Again, my Export/Import from development Workspace to production Workspace is successful. The following error is reported when I attempt to "Install" into the production Workspace:
ORA-20001: GET_BLOCK Error. ORA-20001: GET_STMT error. ORA-20001: Execution of the statement was unsuccessful. ORA-06550: line 15, column 1: PLS-00103: Encountered the symbol ",'39','RD8','8','S','10','U','43','UD','41','UG','11','W')) END)" when expecting one of the following: . ( * @ % & = - + ; < / > at in is mod remainder not rem <an exponent (**)> <> or != or ~= >= <=
The "snippet" of Region Sql Select code that relates to the reported error is:
ELSE htmldb_item.display_and_save (5, DECODE (GET_GRADE_B93 (sac.stc_final_grade,sac.stc_verified_grade),'18','AU','1','A','3','B','4','C','7','CR','5','D','46','DR','6','F','47','FW','49','IB','30','IC','31','ID','23','IF','44','MW','9','NC','21','RD','14','RD0','33','RD1','32','RD2','34','RD3','35','RD4','36','RD5','37','RD6','38','RD7','39','RD8','8','S','10','U','43','UD','41','UG','11','W'),'GRADE_'||ROWNUM) END q_v_grade,
HTML DB version is: 1.6.0.00.67. I've also tried to Export/Import/Install the application into the "same" Workspace specifying the same schema, and only changing the Application ID. However, I get the same Install error (see above).
Any suggestions on things to try in order to get application into production is greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Bernard. -
