JMS Property Group ID value sent from PI to MQ

Hello,
We have interface scenario where our messages are being sent from PI7.0 to MQ. We have JMS Receiver adapter configured for sending messages to JMS queues on MQ.
We have set the adapter specific message attributes and setting the Group ID using dynamic configuration. In the additional message properties, we are passing the Group ID to JMSXGroupID of MQ. While monitoring messages in the Adapter engine, we can see the GroupID value populated in the dynamic config properties of message but corresponding Group ID value on MQ side comes as null.
At adapter engine level, I can see this:

Hello!
As you told us the problem is not with setting the property.
The problem is that when the message is sent to the JMS queue, the IBM driver does not set the property.
This could be because your target client is not JMS compliant, is this?

Use property data type ListGroup for multiselect.
To select values from another hierarchy you can use Node or MultiNode, or an Asscociated Node property, of which there are several types. I'm not fond of the property editors for Node data types and will often just use a string and validate the user input by defaultin prefixes and such with a derived property that is checked by a query based validation. Make sense?

JMS Receiver - set DCJMSMessageProperty value dynamically from message

I have a JMS Receiver where I want to set a DCJMSMessageProperty value to a value from the message contents
For example:
Scenario 1:
Message content field <EANCode>123456</EANCode>
DCJMSMessageProperty6 should be set to 123456 in this instance
Scenario 2:
Message content field <EANCode>99999</EANCode>
DCJMSMessageProperty6 should be set to 99999 in this instance
I know how to set this property to a fixed value using the module DynamicConfigurationBean but do not know how to make this value to use message content.

As stated earlier, I need to set DCJMSMessageProperty on the communication channel to a value held in the content not a fixed value.
I will use a UDF to do this now as there are only certain dynamic values you can use using the DynamicConfigurationBean such as message ID, interface name etc. I want to use something in the content so a UDF should be able to do this.

Extracting the tag value sent from PCo

Can anybody explain how to extract the tag value hidden in a PCo notification, which is sent to a BLS transaction as an XML parameter. Appreciate it.

Anyway I was able to extract the values once the notification is received into the BLS.

Adding jms-property

Is there a way to add jms-property tag in rout node action

Jms-properties are nothing else than custom JMS headers. Therefore in ALSB you can use the Transport Header Actions in the routing node to set your properties.

Attachments in a group email sent from outlook 2007 do not show in the message

iPad doesn't show attachments in a group email sent from a Windows 7 PC using outlook 2007. Doesn't matter what the attachment is, if it is sent to a group created in Outlook the attachments do not come through. Is this a bug in iOS? My Google Nexus 4 phone handles the attachments just fine.

Group MMS sent from my iPhone 4 - I did not send it

I had a group MMS sent from my iPhone 4 this morning - they sent it to 3 of my contacts and 3 numbers I do not know.
I was at work at the time the message was sent and it was zipped up in my purse.
I have my own office and none of my co-workers had/has access to my iPhone to play a prank.
It was a chain mail type thing, one was an image/picture.
Could this be a random thing or should I be concerned that my phone/MMS messaging has been hacked?
My phone is not jailbroken or anything like that - I've checked my data usage and it's low (only a few days into my billing cycle)
It was sent about an hour ago and no more have gone out since - just not sure what to do.

Receving Value Object from JMS queue

I want to receive a Value Object from JMS Queue. I am able to send Value object to JMS queue successfully using "Send Message to Queue". However, Receive message from Queue is not working as expected and throwing below error:

Hi,
As far as i know, JMS Object Messages is not supported by XI JMS adapter.
you need to have the JMS provider to transform the message to bytes messages.
(Refer to SAP note 856346)

Thanks for the reply - I think I've sorted it though and there isn't actually an issue.
The whole group wasn't receiving the NDR, only the group manager which I setup a few weeks prior. This is a new feature so it complies with certain RFC's, basically the group manager will recieive the NDR to let them know there is a problem.
Something to do with mass mailing and unsolicited mail.

Create a New Group
Using groups in the SAP Enterprise Portal is another way to easily manage the content that is rolled out to a user. You can assign multiple roles to a group, and simplify your user management process by assigning a group to a user, instead of assigning multiple roles to a user.
1.     Choose User Administration ¨ Groups ¨ Select New Group button.
2.     Enter values for the following fields.
3.     Choose Save.
3.2.5     Add User to Group
1.     Choose User Administration ¨ Groups.
2.     Select Testers from the Groups menu

I have noted that only the attribute "type" is missing. It seems that when you create a "string" property, the attribute "type" is droped from the XML. If you use another type (as "integer" or "double") it stays there.
If you try to read your properties, except for the "type" attribute, you should be successful, as I am. If you need, please tell me your email, I can send you my code.

Messages sent from a shared mailbox aren't saved to the Sent Items.
In my enviroment , I have Exchange 2010 and Outlook 2007 - i have a shared mailbox called
ServiceDesk. I have added this mailbox to user "Mike" and given mike "Send as Permission" .
The problem
When ever mike sends an email from ServiceDesk
- the email goes to his personal sent items instead of the sharedmailbox
sent items. Is there a way to force any email sent from serviceDesk Mailbox to its own sent items folder? .

This is maybe the wrong forum for this question, but anyway;
Thie site you were pointing out's solution is valid.
Please look in to the following KB article that describes the steps needed to solve this issue. A hotfix package (which you might not need and a a "fixit" dowload for it, but will also change the registry key.

If you have a larger environment and would want to deploy the registry value, I'd suggest using Group Policy Preferences Registry settings.

JMS event generator extract custom jms property

Hi, I was looking for a way to enable a workflow/process to extact a custom jms property that is send with a jms message to the jms event generator.
So the client inserts name/value pair inside the jms message, the event generator picks up the message and starts a workflow. How can I extract that custom name/value pair once inside the workflow/process ?

Compares single value content property to single value property

I am using WLPS 3.2 with weblogic apps 5.1.
This is when regarding content selection rules. When u go into the rules
management and try to create a content selection rule : Then display content
based on:
we see 3 templates to choose from. Now if u look at template 2 it says
:Value with Property Example
This template compares a single-value content property to another
single-value property. content.investor_type equals user.investor_type
It says this template compares "single value" content property to another
"single-value property". What i did was set up a rule that comared a single
value content property to a "multiple" value user property (i.e. the user
property was allowed to have multiple values-check boxes). The rule was set
up fine. When i ran the rule with the <pz:contentselector> tag it dint
return the desired content object. Now if i set up the same rule to match a
single valued user property then it worked!!! Could you please let me know
why this happens and is this a limitation of the tool. What is an
alternative solution for me to compare a content property to a multi valued
user property.

You're correct on all counts. This workaround does move the content
selection into the JSP, rather than using a rule -- which is not ideal.
Also, your suggestion to build one query string to cut down on the number of
database calls is a good improvement.

i) The definition of this rule is hard coded and not administered thu the
tools interface.
ii) There are multiple database calls for each property value retrieved
every time the <cm:select> tag is executed which is very expensive.
iii) The query that i build for the <cm:select> or <pz:contentQuery> tag
doesnt support the in statement.
My work around was something like this:
Build the query string first which would look something like this
CONTENT.interest like '*Science*' || CONTENT.interest like '*Astronomy*'
Then run the <cm:select> or <pz:contentQuery> tag so that i have only one
database call.
Considering the user has 2 interests chosen Science and astronomy. I usethe
like so that CONTENT can be tagged to accomodate multiple values which is
very possible in a real life situation. For eg: <meta name="interest"
content="Science,Astronomy" >
Is this a better work around or am i totally out of line.

FYI, this limitation is not present in WLCS 3.5; it's much more flexiblein
