JmsQueueConnectionFactory error post user role creation

Hi All,
I installed OIM R2 Ps2 successfully. I tried to create a user , got the error javax.naming.NameNotFoundException:While trying to looup jms.QueueConnectionFactory. But the user got created when i rechecked.
Same error popped up during role creation. But the role too got created.
please help me to resolve this error. I dont know what kind of impact this error will create later.
pls find the below screenshot.
Thanks.

Here is the solution :
The issue was with metadata that has been imported as part of patch deployment (BP06).
/db/ldapMetadata/EventHandlers.xml has been imported with wrong name. Just deleted meta data it start working.

Krishna

  • LS 2013: Error with User/Role Screen

I upgraded my LightSwitch application from VS 2012 to VS 2013 (VS 2013 Update 1).
Now, when I access the user/roles screen, I receive the following error now:

    Microsoft.Data.Services.dll
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\LightSwitch\v4.0\\Server\Microsoft.Data.Services.dll
    Version 5.6.0.0
How can I fix this error? Please help.

  • Security Issues with the BP Internet user role creation--SU01

    Hi All,
We are implementing the B2B Internet sales scenario using CRM 4.0. we
have contact persons who logs in and chose the distributor and then
start placing orders or look at product catalog .... Now contact person
is created as a BP in CRM and relation ship is maintained to sold to
(bp). During this process the contact person should be created under
the Internet user role which uses the SU01. so we will be able to
change password or change the roles of the users while creating BP
under the internet user role -- same as what we do in SU01.
This is now a security Issue because who ever can access the BP
(create/change) will be able to do the things we can do under
transaction SU01. But we still need to access the Internet user role in-order to assign the user id to the contact person . Is there any other
    way of doing this.
    Please advice ASAP.
    Thanks
    Vasu

    Hi Ashwini,
you need to modify the logon routine and then in the user management (isauseradmin application) to do this. Then there are likely changes to the catalog identification, and very likely to most processes in the shop. I really wouldn't advise doing so. As accounts usually have contact persons: Why does your client insist in providing a login for the organization and not for a person?
To achieve something that looks almost like the desired solution you, e.g., could model a dummy contact person for each account that shall get a logon, that then does the job. The contact person could be named like the company and then you are back to plain standard.

  • OAM 11g throws error when user store is changed

We have OAM 11g integrated with OIF 11g as the SP. We need to change the OAM User store from OID to OVD. I added a new User store in the OAM console and set that as the default store. In the OAM console, under System Configuration -> Common Configuration -> Data Stores -> User Identity Stores, I added the OVD repository we want to use and set it as the default store. When I make this change in OAM data stores, OAM throws an error.
On the browser I see the error: System error. Please re-try your action. If you continue to get this error, please contact the Administrator.
In the OAM diagnostic logs, I see the following errors:

the reason was a wrong definition in cutomizing
Partner Processing -> Define Partner Determination Procedure -> User Interface Settings
there for the relevant procedure we had to define this sequence of functions :
    1. Activity Partner
    2. Contact Partner
    3. Employee Responsible
    4. Sales Representative
    Regards

  • Database Error (maybe) while working on User-Role or Assiging a Cloud (Unable to connect to the VMM database because of a general database failure)

    Hi,
Suddenly I got this error in SCVMM 2012-R2 Roll-up 1:
When working with User-Roles (create/update) or assigning a Cloud :
"VMM encountered a critical exception and created an exception report....
search user forums for well-known failure root causes for self-help" (how sweet)... (if it's "well known", why not coding the exception handling correctly?)
The relevant part of the report might be this:
    "SCVMM Version=3.2.7620.0
    SCVMM flavor=C-buddy-RTL-AMD64
    Default Assembly Version=3.2.7620.0
    Executable Name=vmmservice.exe
    Executable Version=3.2.7510.0
    Base Exception Target Site=140717670746840
    Base Exception Assembly name=System.Data.dll
    Base Exception Method Name=System.Data.SqlClient.SqlConnection.OnError
Exception Message=Unable to connect to the VMM database because of a general database failure.
Ensure that the SQL Server is running and configured correctly, then try the operation again."
(side question: what does this mean: "Ensure that the SQL Server is ... configured correctly"?
    I can say that :
SQL is configured by the book, that all services are running (did a reboot of VMM server too) and that all other VMM functions work OK. I don't believe that SQL is only used for user-roles...
Acting as Domain admin and VMM admin.
    All updates are installed.
Please find the report @the and and a screen shot attached.
    Thanks for any help.

    Thomas.

I (quite honestly) am one of those folks that generally do not read the KB articles associated with a patch or UR or SP - as you don't expect details like have been put into this particular one.
But as Kristian pointed out - within that KB article is the SQL script that modifies / updates this SQL Stored Procedure.
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/scvmm/archive/2014/01/29/how-to-update-scvmm-2012-r2-to-update-rollup-1.aspx
Needless to say, the feedback was given to MSFT that folks would overlook that this SQL script needed to be run.  So we are just trying to help out.

  • Creation of user roles

    Hi all,
can someone please explain me how to create the user roles.
is this a IMG part of Logistics? please explain me in detail.
    kumar

PFCG is the T.Code for creating roles,& you need to check in T.Code SUIM, which all are the roles that are currently being used in your organization by entering details, like you can enter T.Code: VA01 & execute, it will give you details of all the roles having T Code: VA01, also if you want to check, for any user that what all are the roles which are assigned to him then enter T.Code: YU03.....roles can be attached to to a user through T.Code: SU01..this part is normally done by the basis guys.
    Reward points if it helps
    Regards,

  • Restrict GL / Cost Centre combinations for users/roles?

    Hi,
Please could someone advise if it is possible to restrict Cost Centre and GL Account combinations during PO creation for specific users/roles?
    For example:
    Valid Combinations:
    CC A1  GL 99
    CC B2  GL 88
    Scenarios:
    Create PO with A1, 99   -> Allowed
Create PO with B2, 77  -> Not Allowed
I've found a related post, but not exactly my requirement - any other thoughts?  Or has anyone done this themselves?
Authorisations - User Profile for purchasing - restrict by cost centre

Use the user exit MM06E005 to control the CC and G/L for user dependent.
to do that - ask ABAPer to create the custom table for user, CC and GL combination and let teh user exit read the combination from the table and give a error or warning based on your requirements.

  • Error as Enter while creation of PO due to this PO is not created in ME21N

    Hi All,
I have an issue where one of my user cannot able to create a PO with refernce to Network and he is getting error as ENTER while creation of PO in ME21N and there is no long text for this error. Also user cannot able to create a PO whenever he clicked on save button the only option he got is Hold or Edit or cancel.
I have asked user to provide the same information (inputs while creation of PO in ME21N) to his colleague and check whether he can able to create a PO successfully or not. User confirmed that his colleague can able to create a PO successfully.
Please let me know what was the root cause behind this.
Awaiting for your valauble inputs & quicker reply.
Note: I have crossverified with technical team and they confim all the required roles are in place for my user.

    Hi Jurgen,
    Question from you
Just message ENTER is pretty unusual. Even if there is no long text, the message should at least have a message number, can you tell this number? In general there should be the field name next to the message.
    Answer from me
As you have said i have cliked on the error ie ENTERand got the message number as below,
    Enter
    Message no. ME083
    Question from you
Is there any userexit which may cause this error?
    Answer from me
According to me know because only one user is having a problem other users can able to create a PO sucuessuflly.
    Question from you
What happens if a different user enters the PO under the user ID of the user who can only hold the PO?
What happens if the effected user creates the PO under the user ID of a different user (who is usually able to save POs)?
    Answer from me
not tried will let u know on this later
    Question from you
Have you customized a new process, and this user is testing it?
    Answer from me
    No
Please let me know whether the above my inputs help you to identify the issue where exactly it was.

    Hello, experts!
I faced an issue with creation the BW project in HANA
I have already installed SAP HANA Studio, established connection to my server with HANA. Also I installed all necessary plugins:

I performed all steps from this guide: Configuring the ABAP Back-end for ABAP Development Tools
My user in the system has two ABAP roles: SAP_BC_DWB_ABAPDEVELOPER and  SAP_BC_DWB_WBDISPLAY. They are activated and correct, authorization profiles are assigned.
    The error is the following:
When I try to create BW project in HANA system, I'm able to choose my connection. The connection is insecure without SNC. On the next screen I enter my login and password and get the error message:

HANA user is differ from BW user if it matters
Dear experts, please, help me to figure out this tricky problem.

    Hi everyone!
The one I found out is authorization profiles for 2 roles were generated badly. Some of the auth. objects were added but some were not.
After regeneration, HANA allowed me to create BW project but there were also additional error messages. In su53 I checked that now is missing:
    -- S_ADT_RES object with URI
       /sap/bw/modeling/discovery
      /sap/bw/modeling/repo/is/dbinfo
    Keep on working further

  • Request Number is not generated for BRM "new" role creation

    Hello Gurus,
I have configured BRM in SAP GRC AC 10, along with the workflow .
I have selected the following methodology
    Define Role --> Maintain Auth >Analyze & Access Risk>Request Approval>Generate Roles>Maintain Test Cases
    Role name : Y_TEST_BRM_FUNCTIONALITY
So i do the following steps and assign
    1) Role approver as Mr. ABC & Alternate approver as Mr. QRS
    2) Assign the Required transactions and do the RAR i.e i am done till step 3 of methodology
When i click "Initiate Approval request"
The approval triggers , and goes to the 1st stage as configured in MSMP
    1) Power User Approval .
Here the Power User : EFG , open his workflow and see the request as
Role approval required for role Y_TEST_BRM_FUNCTIONALITY
The approver approves the request and then the request all together vanishes.
Unfortunately i am not able to search the request for that role from NWBC -->Search request by
Process Id : Role Approver Workflow
    It gives blank !!
Hence neither i am able to find the request no able to do any debugging of it using
    GRFNMW_DBGMONITOR_WD
Please note that the Request Id is created for any request in CUP.
Is it that i have to create a number range for BRM request ??
If so will you please let me know the object

    Hello All,
I was wrong in posting the cause of problem.
Please note no "Request number" is generated for Role creation Request.
The problem was i was unable to search the Role Request approval status from "Search Request" via  Process Id
It got resolved via SAP note 1643539 : UAM: Search Request not returning result for some Process Id.
    My Issues is Resolved.
    Thank You.
    Regards,
    Victor

  • Modify Script to Create User Role on Single Database.

    Hi All,
Below is the script to create user role on database. Here problem is when I execute this script, it creates user role for all database within an instance and I want it to create user role only on 2 database say TEST1 and TEST2
Can anyone help me to modify the script?
    --===================================================================================
    -- Description
    -- Database Type: MSSQL
-- This script creates a role called 'gdmmonitor' for ALL databases.
-- It grants some system catalogs to this role to allow Classification and Assessment on the database.
-- It then adds a user called "sqlguard" to all databases and grants this user gdmmonitor role.
    -- before runnign this script
--  you MUST CREATE A SQL LOGIN CALLED 'sqlguard'
--  This sqlguard login doesn't need to be added to any database or given
--  any privilege.  The script will take care of that.
    --  Note:
--   If you wish to use a different login name (instead of 'sqlguard') you need to change
    --   the value of the variable '@Guardium_user' in the script below;
--   (Look for the string: "set @Guardium_user = 'sqlguard'" and replace the 'sqlguard')
    -- after runnign this script
-- Nothing to do, the script already creates the db user
    -- User/Password to use
-- User: sqlguard (or any other name, if changed)
    -- Pass: user defined
    -- Role: gdmmonitor

  • Error with data source creation

Error during Data Source creation: weblogic.common.ResourceException: DataSource
(jdbc.GangsterDB) can't be created with non-existent Pool (connection or multi)
    (oraclePool)
I have already created oraclePool with the following properties:
    Name : oraclePool
    URL : jdbc:weblogic:oracle
    Driver: weblogic.jdbc.oci.Driver
    Properties:
    user=system
    server=myserver
    In weblogic-ejb-jar.xml file:

              <resource-description>
              <res-ref-name>jdbc/GangsterDataSource</res-ref-name>
              <jndi-name>jdbc.GangsterDB</jndi-name>
              </resource-description>
         </reference-descriptor>
    In ejb-jar.xml file:
    <resource-ref>
              <res-ref-name>jdbc/GangsterDataSource</res-ref-name>
              <res-type>javax.sql.DataSource</res-type>
              <res-auth>Container</res-auth>
              </resource-ref>
Do I need to make changes in my Entity Bean files? I have made a datasource called
GangsterDB. I do not know the reason for this error. Please do let me know.
Error during Data Source creation: weblogic.common.ResourceException: DataSource
(jdbc.GangsterDB) can't be created with non-existent Pool (connection or multi)
    (oraclePool)
    Thank you
    Ronak Parekh

I am still getting the same error:
Unable to deploy EJB: OrganizationEJB from sempire_bc.jar
The DataSource with the JNDI name: OrganizationDB can not be located. Please ensure
that the DataSource has been deployed
successfully and that the JNDI name in your EJB Deployment descriptor is correct.
In my console, I have created a connection pool 'oraclePool' and 3 datasource
    'jdbc.GangsterDB', 'jdbc.OrganizationDB' and
'jdbc.JobDB'. I have also specified the target server and there seems to be no
error. I have checked 'Monitor All Connection
Pools' and oraclePool is running. I still do not understand the problem that I
am getting and have no clue how to solve it.
    Thank you
