JNDIConnector datasource name= null,Problem in connection of Mysql and bean
Hi
I am using Sun App Server9.0, Mysql5.0, and Netbeans 5.5. When I am trying to run my facade, it is not detacting datasource.
Do I have to set some property in server.
I am getting this exception.

Problem to connect to mysql from servlet using a javabean

I'm new here and beginner on java to.
I have problem to connect to MySql database, by a connection javabean.
It's the following: a HTML page calls a servlet and this servlet imports the package connection javabean.
It has no problem when I establish the connection inside the servlet, with all its methods (public and private). But i want to separate the code connection from servlet.
Detail: there is no problem, using the javabean to connect to MS Access database.
I put "mysql-connector-java-3.1.12-bin.jar" file inside WEB-INF/lib application and common/lib directories.
I set the classpath:
SET CLASSPATH=%CATALINA_HOME%\COMMON\LIB\mysql-connector-java-3.1.12-bin.jar;%CLASSPATH%
I think that the servlet cannot create an instance of javabean, because passed by catch exception of the servlet init method.
But I don't know why.
Please Why?

Problems with connecting to mySQL
Hi,
I'm using JSP for web development and I want to use mySQL as my database.
My problem is:
When trying to create a new instant
Class.forName("com.mysql.jdbc.Driver").newInstance();
I get the following exception:
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.mysql.jdbc.Driver
Please note that I'm using NetBeans as my IDE. The IDE itself successfully connects to mySQL and gets the schema.

SaranMost likely culprit is the rs.next statement. If no records are returned rs will be null and rs.next will through a null pointer exception. try:

If that doesn't work try blocking off sections of code in seperate try-catch blocks to narrow down where the exception is occuring. -

I first had VS Express but it seems the express versions don't support that so then i went to get a VS Professional 2013 (trial i think) and this didn't work either.
Does anyone know any solution other than installing connectors (reinstalled them like 2 times already) or getting another VS ?

Problem in Connection between MapServer and Oracle Spatial

I am working on the Oracle Spatial and MapServer
I want to clear that MapServer is not Oracle MapViewer, this is Open Source UMN MapServer.
When I pass the query(shown below), the empty image is displayed in the browser without any map

Problems with connecting external Hd and iPod
Hi all, I really hope someone here can help and this problem is driving me up the wall!!
Before i installed Mavericks i could simply plug in my 2tb WD My Passport external hd into my usb and use it how you normally would but since going over to Mavericks i get this message appear...
The only way i can use the drive is to keep it plugged into my Macbook and restart it and then i can use it as normal.
I've contacted Wd (who are pretty useless) and have followed the steps they've suggested such as backing up the drive and re-enstalling Mavericks. I've also re-enstalled the driver software from the Wd page but still i get this. I can plug the HD into my partners Mac and it works straight away.
And now recently I have the same problem when i connect my ipod classic into my Macbook. The ipod shows in finder but not in itunes. I've also took that back to factory settings and then re-enstalled it but again, I have to restart the computer to get it to show in itunes.
I've gone into disk utily and followed the repair disk procedure and that only goes so far then does nothing!

HTTP 404 is a "Page not found" error. The request URL is simply wrong. Either there's a typo in the URL, or there is a typo in the servlet mapping, or the servlet is not there where you think. -
Connect Install Problem - Restarting Connect Services forever and ever

I have installed Connect Server on my server. I was using the Embeded MSDE for the install. Everything seems to go fine during the install and first time config as usual.
But, when login to use and meeting the services are restarts during i meeting. I dont know What wrong on my Adobe Connect Pro Server .

How have things gone since your install? Also I'm puzzled as Fedora IS Red Hat, just a variant "flavor". It shouldn't cause the kind of problem that you related. Any news or dicoveries since then? I'm getting ready to install on my goDaddy server and it IS Fedora Core 10.

Problems of connectivity between IpodNano and PC
Hi everyone,
I'm writing because I have a simple problem and I can't seem to find the solution.
When I connect my Ipod to my personal PC (via usb) nothing happens. I have Itunes installed, upgraded, but I have absolutely no reaction (not even a folder open like when you plug a usb key).
I have tried to plus into all usb plugs and still nothing.
And it is not a problem with my ipod:
-When I plug into a friends pc it works (with itunes)
-When I plus into my work pc it works (no itunes, but the pc recognize an external device)
-And I also tried to plug it into a laptop...works fine
Is there something special that can block the ipod from being recognized (like anti-virus I don't know)

Problem with connecting from Netweaver Session Bean to SAP R/3
Hi,
i just want a connection to RFC in SAP R/3 and with help of sap ("Proxy generation" etc) and wizard in NWDS i get the rfc. Now i want to connect and use it (like in handbook) but: Every time i create and use jcoclient.connect() system gets an error like:
"Class File Editor
Source not found
The jar file jrfc.jar has no source attachment."
I have add all files that are used to "Used DCs" or bind library into projekt as "Third party library", but the error is still there.
Any idea? Do i have to make something else? Some failure made?

Where can we download SAP NW7.0 (2004s) as Java Trial for testing? We only find ABAP Trial... Link? thxSo we tested some things that are described in the SDN or by SAP with Connectors.
We tested JCO version 2.0.12, 2.1.18 and 3.0 in J2EE Projects in netweaver and in Eclipse (Standalone).
For version 2.0.12 there is a failure that this version is not compatible with the other things in netweaver.
This version is for standalone and integrated sytems.
For version 2.1.18 is only described as standalone and so failure happened in netweaver that other classes are coruppted or missed. The internal test in "content administrator" (Ping and Test) do not work and had the same error.
For version 3.0 (that displace the other two versions) there is many to do in settings and coding that we do not have tested yet because project is not that small to write it for JCO 3.0 only for testing. When we only displaced files in netweaver the server do not start any more.
So:
Is there a way to call R/3 from session bean and 1. create an JCO client or 2. add a client to the "standard" pool of netweaver to use it?
Any ideas? help? links?

The problem Im having is that I get major error when trying to
access a EJB (Session Bean) in Oracle 8i from Servlet. The
servlet works properly when Im running it from another machine,
but when implementing it in OAS it won't work. What's the
problem? Im using the same lookup adress from both places, but
it simply won't work for me in OAS. IF someone could give me a
simple example that works I would be more than happy!

I created some visual beans, added it to the palette, and made use of it using the form editor. But somehow, I decided to move the bean to another package. Now, the problem is when I try to build my project, the forms referencing that moved bean is not updated. They still show(as fully qualified class names) the old package location of the bean. In simple saying, they were not refactored together with the moved bean. Please Help Me With this...Bet you had errors during refactoring saying that the occurrence is in guarded section and can not be refactored.
Try to replace old references in *.from/*.java files outside the IDE. -

You can download the 11.1.0.7 patchset from My Oracle Support -
support.oracle.com
as patch 6890831.
Once logged in click on 'Patches and Updates' and enter the patch number as 6890831 and choose whichever platform you are running.
the readme explains how to apply the patch to an existing 11.1.0.6 install.
The url you posted is only for complete product installs, but 11.1.0.7 is only a patchset that must be applied to an existing install.
