Jquery

Hi,
I created an mobile app using Apex .
In that I created one check box .
While creating the check box it showing very long (size of the Check box was too long).
I don't know how increase/decrease the size of the Check box in apex Jquery mobile.
I have to do any modifications in the CSS file or html element attributes?
Please tell me how to do this....
Thanks & Regards,
The Learner.

Hi petrib,
Thanks for doing the test, the unit test should display
the results in html, check it for example in PC/FF.
I've been trying to find out what the potential problem is
but it seems regardless what test its doing, sometimes it finishing a test okay, sometimes its not.
Given the easiness of reproducing it should be possible to run this in the debugger and to see a stack trace, and from there see why the browser gets a trap/core dump or whatsoever.
The Unit test is actually verifying real things that are
done on the web, and it would be nice if the unit test
at least could be executed so some sort of status can
be derived, it would be normal to show some deviations
(failing tests) e.g. Safari responds somewhat different to
the isFunction() call (introspection), but thats something that can be workaround/fixed.
I will try/look for upgrade's the firmware, perhaps the solution is there, although for the mass out there that got this version... ;-( ...

    Hi,
    According to your post, my understanding is that you failed to use the _spBodyOnLoadFunctionNames.push() function.
    Per my knowledge, the _spBodyOnLoadFunctionNames.push() is SharePoint's version of jQuery's $(document).ready() or $(function(){}).
    I recommend you to add a content-editor-webpart on the page and add the code below on the source editor to check whether it works.
     <script language="javascript">
    _spBodyOnLoadFunctionNames.push("FunctionName");
    function FunctionName(){
        alert(Test);
    </script>
    More information:
    SharePoint JavaScript – Page Load Add function: _spBodyOnLoadFunctionNames
    If it works well, the issues is caused by the functions you created.
    You need to check whether your code are correct.
    In addition, you can make init.js loaded before _spBodyOnLoadFunctionNames.
    Here is a similar thread for your reference:

    My wife has left me for four weeks, favouring to be with our son who lives 4,000 km away. I now have to cook for myself and the steaks taste horrible. What am I doing wrong?
    If you do not know what I have (not) done to make the steak taste horrible, my question is as hard to answer as your question above.
    Please give us more info like giving us the code that sends the page to the homepage rather than to the previous page.

    jQuery(document).ready(function($) {

    <script>
    jQuery(document).ready(function($) {
    $('#SWAP').cycle({ fx: 'fadeZoom'});
    </script>
    Assuming everything else is in the right place, that should do the trick. But here's a suggestion - put the two external links ABOVE the editable region in the template. That way, all files will link to those two jquery files (it won't matter since they are cached locally) and then all you'd need to put into the editable region would be the embedded script -
    <script>
    jQuery(document).ready(function($) {
    $('#SWAP').cycle({ fx: 'fadeZoom'});
    </script>

  • Dymanic action with jQuery selector not working in version 4.2.2

    Hi,
    We’re in the process upgrading to APEX version 4.2.2. We have an issue is with a report with a link that’s firing a dynamic action with a jQuery selector.
    The first sequence in the dynamic action is Confirm. When we click the link in the report it’s supposed to popup a confirm “Are you sure you want to save?"
    When we click the link nothing happens. This works in our current version 4.0.1, but not in 4.2.2. Do you have any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Joe

    change the
    in the url to
    javascript:void(0);
    The reason for your issue is that the default action of the anchor tag is not prevented and thus navigation occurs. A confirm action will return true or false, and execution of further true actions will stop when selecting cancel but this will still not prevent the default action from occuring. Similarly a cancel event true action is not adequete as this has to be run after the confirm so not accounting for the execution-stopping cancel of the confirm.
    That javascript in the url is some good ol' "hack". It'll run that javascript instead of performing a navigation and void(0) just does nothing, and the click dynamic action will be unaffected.

  • Lightbox (jQuery Lightbox Evolution) made in Adobe Edge, doesn´t work in Adobe Muse (oam file)

    Hi!, I got a problem that I can´t fix it, or I don´t know how to do it in Adobe Muse.
    First I have the Jquery Lightbox Evolution ready to do it in Adobe Edge.
    I could work the lightbox in Edge perfectly doing this:
    1. I added the JS files of the Jquery Lightbox Evolution into EDGE :
    2. I wrote this code in STAGE - COMPOSITIONREADY:
    yepnope({load: "js/lightbox/themes/classic/jquery.lightbox.css",complete: function() {}});
    3. I wrote this CLICK code into the blue box animation;
    {$.lightbox("images/4.jpg");return false;};
    4. Now, if I do a Preview, and if I click into the blue box animation, appears the Jquery Lightbox Evolution, like I want:
    5. Perfect, I publish the project like an Animate Deployment Package (.oam) to import this into Muse.
    6. Now the problems begins, I import the Edge animation into my Muse project, but when I see the preview of my page, the lightbox doesn´t work, Muse don´t recognize the lightbox CSS file because I see something like that:
    The blue box animation work perfectly into Muse!, but when I click on it and when it should appear the Jquery Lightbox, happens that problem, Muse don´t recognize the CSS file and the "lightbox" appears INTO the box animation, like if I put a "_self" code.
    Really I don´t know how to fix that, should import the CSS file into Muse? should write a code into Page Properties- Metadata?, write a code inserting a HTML?, change some code in Adobe Edge?
    Thanks!!!!

    I´m sorry, but any ideas how to fix that?

    Jeff

    Great post Jeff,
    With regard to Jquery UI and tabs I've contacted the Apex dev team and received a reply from them.
    All the jQueryUI files are included in the APEX 4.0 distribution, but not all jQueryUI components
    are loaded by default to avoid a huge initial download. It's not necessary to load your own version of jQueryUI, just load the missing component.
    For the "Tabs" you have to add
    <link href="IMAGE_PREFIX#libraries/jquery-ui/1.8/themes/base/jquery.ui.tabs.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
    <script src="#IMAGE_PREFIX#libraries/jquery-ui/1.8/ui/minified/jquery.ui.tabs.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    to your page template or the header attribute of your page where you want to use it.They did not mention which other Jquery UI widgets were not included so people need to check to see if they get any JS errors Like "$('#tabs').tabs() is not a function" this would suggest that tabs is not being loaded. To included it in you page header directly after #HEAD# you need to place the css and js as stated above.
    If you need jquery help just post you queries here or the is some other jquery links that maybe of some use

  • Problem with jquery slide show conflict with vertical navigation menu in Firefox & Chrome

    Problem with jquery slide show conflict with vertical navigation menu in Firefox & Chrome. Works in IE. This is my first time trying to post a question - so please be kind. I am also not good with code and am finding css a real challenge after learning to design based on tables. I'm using CS5.
    The "test" page with the slide show is: http://www.reardanwa.com/index-slides.html   The same page without the slide show is http://www.reardanwa.com/
    I realize the images are not ideally sized - I'll fix those once I get the pages to function.  Maybe I need a different slide show? I would prefer a widget that I can modify to required size & postition. Again - I'm not good at building with code from scratch.
    The problem is the naviagation links that are directly next to the slide show do not work in Firefox of Chrome. They do work in IE.
    I've read about using jQuery.noConflict(); code but can't figure out the correct way to use it in my case or whether that's even part of the solution. I know my code is not well organized as I have cobbled together from various sources in an attempt to format the page the way the client wants it. Also, FYI, I will eventually try to make the page work in Surreal CMS.
    I've spent sevaral days over the last several weeks trying to solve sth slide show/navigation conflict - so any specific light you can shed will be much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

  • How to get pop up window in mobile application using jquery

    i am trying to implement jquery in my mobile application.iam not getting how to get a popup window

    Ram,
    Write ur code in event <b>AT USER-COMMAND.</b> Create ur own screen and call that screen for example call screen 100 at 10 10. And after entering the date call the secondary screen.
    AT USER-COMMAND.
    Effect
    Event in interactive reporting
    This event is executed whenever the user presses a function key in the list or makes an entry in the command field.
    Some functions are executed directly by the system and thus cannot be processed by programs. These include:
    PICK
    See variant AT LINE-SELECTION
    PFn
    See variant AT PFn
    System command
    System command
    PRI
    Print
    BACK
    Back
    RW
    Cancel
    P...
    Scroll function (e.g.: P+ , P- , PP+3, PS-- etc.)
    Instead of this functions, you can use the SCROLL statement in programs.
    Since many of these system functions begin with "P", you should avoid using this letter to start your own function codes.
    Otherwise, the effect is as for AT LINE-SELECTION; also, the current function code is stored in the system field SY-UCOMM.

  • Jquery menu plugin  integrated in Tab's (using a custom theme )

    Hi,
    I'm trying to use the jquery menu plugin and use it combined with tab's. I would like to get the effect which is also in the APEX IDE ( TAB's with submenu's expanding below the TAB ).
    So far I have my tab's and also my menu's which are show as a button on the page which expand when you click on them. But I would like to have the menu attached to the tab.
    I found somewhere (http://www.theapexfreelancer.com/apex/f?p=APEXFREELANCER:JQUERY_MENU_PLUGIN:0) that I should name the TAB and the LIST's on which the menu's are build exactly the same to achieve this, but so far no luck.
    Does anyone know of a cookbook describing how to achieve this or has any ideas what to check ?
    Regards,
    Bas

    The steps can be detailed as follows (I will make it specific to my theme -Application Builder- and you can replace what you want)
    0) a) My Page template name is WithNicolettePlugin.
    b) Put the Nicolette (Thanks alot for him) plugin on #REGION_POSITION_08# in Page Zero (Global page)
    c) the settings of the plugin as follows:

    - Tab set : main
    - Include single subtab : yes
    - Class first parent : ui-corner-left
    - Class last parent : ui-corner-right
    - File Prefix : #IMAGE_PREFIX#
    the others are empty
    1) link the following CSS's into the Header section of the Page Template of (Bluejay-22)
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="/i/css/apex_builder.min.css?v=4.2.0.00.27" type="text/css" />

  • How to work JQuery and content editor webpart functionality in sharepoint 2013?

    Hi all,
    I have a requirement to display the list data in share-point page by using JQuery and content editor web-part. could you please any one suggest the process to display the list data using JQuery and ContentEditorWebpart.

    Hi,
    From your description, my understanding is that you want to show a list data in a page using jQuery and Content Query Web Part.
    You could use SharePoint REST API to accomplish your requirement, please refer to this code below:
    <div id="listData">
    </div>
    <script src="https://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.11.1.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script><script type="text/javascript">
    $(document).ready(function(){
    //replace your list title
    $.ajax({
    url: _spPageContextInfo.webAbsoluteUrl + "/_api/web/lists/getbytitle('customlist03')/items",
    type: "GET",
    headers: {"accept": "application/json;odata=verbose"},
    success: function (data) {
    if (data.d.results) {
    var obj = data.d.results;
    for(var i = 0; i < obj.length; i++)
    $("#listData").append("<div>title "+obj[i].Title+"</div>");
    error: function (xhr) {
    alert(xhr.status + ': ' + xhr.statusText);
    </script>
    The screenshot below is my result:

  • JQuery mobile layout grid not working after 4.2 upgrade

    Hi all,
    I'm running a mobile application on a hosted Apex environment which uses lots of jQuery mobile. The environment has been updated to 4.2 recently, and since that happened pages that I had setup to use the content grid, to show content in 3 columns no longer works, there only appears to be 1 column now. Code as below: -
    <div class="ui-grid-b">
         <div class="ui-block-a">Block A</div>
         <div class="ui-block-b">Block B</div>
         <div class="ui-block-c">Block C</div>
    </div><!-- /grid-b -->Item 1 has the following as the 'before label and item':
    <div data-role="fieldcontain"><div class="ui-grid-b"><div class="ui-block-a">Item 2 has the following as the 'before label and item':
    <div data-role="fieldcontain"><div class="ui-grid-b"><div class="ui-block-b">Item 3 has the following as the 'before label and item':
    <div data-role="fieldcontain"><div class="ui-grid-b"><div class="ui-block-c">with a closing </div> after each. This was working OK in 4.1
    Does anyone have any ideas what has changed that would affect this?
    Thanks,
    Mike
    Edited by: Mike, UK on Nov 4, 2012 4:20 PM

    Hi,
    I haven't completely got to the bottom of why this was happening, but I have resolved this after realising the ui-grid-b and ui-block-x elements weren't being rendered, seemed to be related to the 'Before Label and Item' label template item, if anyone else hits this.
    Cheers,
    Mike
