JSP HTMLB tags/Taglib

Hi all,
Are there any JSP HTMLB tags like there are in the portals environment? i.e., tableview, button, tray, etc.?
I know there's a mobilehtmlb.jar, but I couldn't find anything about htmlb tags for MI.
If you have any idea/info, please let me know.
Thx,
mike

Jelle,
I found the jars, but I am awaiting a response from the product manager.   Through a NoClassDefFound error, I found out I also had to add logging.jar.
Now this is what I'm getting:

Can anybody help me, what is wrong?, why I am getting this error? and how I should to fix it?

  • Bug in HTMLB JSP inputfield TAG ???

    Hello,
    we use SAP EP 6.0 NW 04 SPS16 (J2EE Cluster with 6 hosts and 2 j2ee
    servers per host) with a R/3 Enterprise Backend HR system. For the UI
    we use ISR forms. Platform is Windows 2003 Server with Oracle DB.
    Within a self develop ISR JSP form running in the portal we have the
    following problem:
    The result of the htmlb tag below displays 09:00:00 in the browser. The
    right time is 08:00:00
    <hbj:inputField id='<%= inpufieldname %>'
    type="TIME"
    value='<%= ISR.getValue("ZP_BEG_DIS",i)
    %>'
    disabled='TRUE'
    size="12"
    jsObjectNeeded="true" />
    When we use the coding below with type STRING the result, displayed in
    the browser is 080000
    <hbj:inputField id='<%= inpufieldname %>'
    type="STRING"
    value='<%= ISR.getValue("ZP_BEG_DIS",i)
    %>'
    disabled='TRUE'
    size="12"
    jsObjectNeeded="true" />
    The crazy thing is: The coding above with type TIME works until
    something in a J2EE server "breaks" from now on this server returns one
    hour more tham <%= ISR.getValue("ZP_BEG_DIS",i) returns. The server
    returns this wrong value until a J2EE server reboot.
    Any experience with this "feature" ??
    Regards,
    Gerald Eder

    That doesn't seem to work. On the login page we have the line (uses our own custom tag called "form"):
    <html:form method="post" action="<%=response.encodeURL("j_security_check")%>" >
    OC4J complains about this (Tomcat is happy enough). If I change this to:
    <html:form method="post" action="<%=response.encodeURL(\""j_security_check\"")%>" >
    then it won't compile in either OC4J or Tomcat... which to be honest is what I expected. The quotes is inside a JSP expression; it's not really part of the attribute.
    Or did you mean something else?
    Thanks,
    Phil

    This problem doexn't happen consistently. This occurs once in a while.

  • Jdev 10.1.3.0.4 jsp 2.0 taglib support

    hi,
    i am trying to use ZK jsp tag library(zkoss.org) for a project. ZK taglib needs jsp2.0 support. i have create a web project with jsp2.0 and servlet2.4.
    then i install taglib to the project and put required libraries under web-inf/lib.
    here is a simple jsp: (just imports taglib)
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
    <%@ page contentType="text/html;charset=UTF-8"%>

    <%@ taglib uri="http://www.zkoss.org/jsp/zul" prefix="zuljsp"%>
    <html>
    <head>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8"/>
    <title>Hello ZK World</title>
    </head>
    <body></body>
    </html>
    when i rebuild the project i get:
    Error(4): Invalid body-content value in TLD: SCRİPTLESS.
    Error(5): Invalid body-content value in TLD: SCRİPTLESS.
    Error(5): "http://www.zkoss.org/jsp/zul" is not a registered TLD namespace
    am i missing something?
    does jdeveloper 10g really supports jsp2.0 taglibs?
    regards, Engin.

    hi,
    jsp tag library definitions exist both at global jsp tag libs and project tag libs.
    my pc regional setting are turkish. i have changed then to english. then the error changed to:
    Error(4): Invalid body-content value in TLD: NONE.
    Error(5): Invalid body-content value in TLD: NONE.
    i guess the taglib file contains none value while its schema definition does not allow this? could it be the reason for last error? i found some none values at tld file.

    I have the TLD file and relevant classes in the jar file. I would like to know where and what kind of modifications have to be done to use the jsp custom tag library.
    I tried modifying some things in portalapp.xml but was not successful.
    Please help me on how to proceed with this? It would be great if you can provide the xml entry to use this tag library
    Thanks
    Santhosh

    Hi Johny,
    Thanks for the reply. Actually I am able to change colors etc. with out any problem.
    My requirement is to use XMLTaglib in mastheader par file. This tag lib is from apache tomcat. I have the relevant TLD and class files. I copied TLD file into taglib dir of portal-inf and class file in src api.
    And I have added the following line in portalapp.xml under component-profile section of default
    <property name="tlxtag" value="/SERVICE/Newmastheader/taglib/taglibs-xtags.tld">
    Is this the right way to use tag lib? Actually before adding this line I used to get the error saying "Error parsing taglib", but now the error does not occur and I am getting new error. This is an exception in one of the taglib classes.
    Could any one provide me some inputs on how to check this error?
    Thanks
    Santhosh

  • JSP xml syntax, taglibs not found

    Hello,
    I have JSPs look so:
    <?xml  version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
    <!DOCTYPE jsp:root [
    <!ENTITY nbsp "&#x00A0;">
    ]>
    <jsp:root version="1.2"
              xmlns:jsp="http://java.sun.com/JSP/Page"
              xmlns:afc="http://afclabs.com/tags/afc"
              xmlns:c="http://java.sun.com/jstl/core">
    <jsp:directive.page language="java" contentType="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"/>
    <afc:page>
    <head>
    <title></title>
    </head>
    <body>
    </body>
    </afc:page>
    </jsp:root>[/code:1:449443877c]
    If I use Tag Libraries panel, to insert , for example <c:out> tag, then the tag will be inserted along with this line: <%@ taglib uri="http://java.sun.com/jstl/core" prefix="c" %>, like so:
    [code:1:449443877c]<?xml  version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
    <!DOCTYPE jsp:root [
    <!ENTITY nbsp "&#x00A0;">
    ]>
    <%@ taglib uri="http://java.sun.com/jstl/core" prefix="c" %>
    <jsp:root version="1.2"
              xmlns:jsp="http://java.sun.com/JSP/Page"
              xmlns:afc="http://afclabs.com/tags/afc"
              xmlns:c="http://java.sun.com/jstl/core">
    <jsp:directive.page language="java" contentType="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"/>
    <afc:page>
    <head>
    <title></title>
    </head>
    <body>
    <c:out value="test" default="test"/>
    </body>
    </afc:page>
    </jsp:root>[/code:1:449443877c]
    I don't need this line, because the tag libraries are defined in the <jsp:root> tag.
    How can I stop the automatically insert of this line ?
    How to make, that the Nitrox "undestand" this tag:
    [code:1:449443877c] <jsp:root version="1.2"
              xmlns:jsp="http://java.sun.com/JSP/Page"
              xmlns:afc="http://itoolabs.com/tags/afc"
              xmlns:c="http://java.sun.com/jstl/core">[/code:1:449443877c] ?

    To my knowledge, only Tomcat 5 will use the 2.0 specs. Other servers will use the 1.2 spec, but the server docs should state which JSP spec they support.
    I found the 'Card' PDF the most helpfull. The 'Reference' is quick and easy, but you don't get as much info as quickly, IMO (for example I couldn't find the information to help here in the 'Reference' but it was right on top in the 'Card')

  • JSP applet tag X Html applet tag (what is the difference?)

    what is the advantage in using the JSP applet tag instead of a simple Html applet tag ?
    second question:
    I have an applet in a Html frame, and a menu on the left side.... When the user select the applet option at first time, everything runs ok.. after the user select another option and then select the applet again, it fails in some features .. Why ?

    well, if by "the JSP applet tag", you mean the jsp:plugin tag.. that will just generate the same HTML tag you would write. The only advantage would be it should be less typing to use the taglib.
    second answer:
    without seeing any code, it'd be hard to figure out the problem. The obvious thing is you are setting some state of something that is preventing further action.

    I had the same problem. In your .tld change tagclass to tag-class and bodycontent to body-content and that should do the trick. The names slightly changed for JSP spec 1.2.

  • Initial problem with JSP Custom Tag devolopment

    Hi ,
    I have encountered a problem with my JSP application which utilizes a simple custom tag.
    First I created followinng directories.
    1. %TOMCAT_HOME%\webapps\testTags
    2. %TOMCAT_HOME%\webapps\testTags\META-INF
    3. %TOMCAT_HOME%\webapps\testTags\WEB-INF
    4. %TOMCAT_HOME%\webapps\testTags\WEB-INF\tlds
    5. %TOMCAT_HOME%\webapps\testTags\WEB-INF\classes
    6. %TOMCAT_HOME%\webapps\testTags\WEB-INF\classes\com

    8. %TOMCAT_HOME%\webapps\testTags\WEB-INF\classes\com\tek271\testTags

    1.TagError.java
    2.web.xml

    4.testJsp.jsp
    Then i put the files under these directories as given below

    Dear patreck ,
    It does not work.
    I have replaced the line
    <%@ taglib uri="/testTaglib" prefix="test" %>
    with
    <%@ taglib uri="WEB-INF/tlds/testTaglib" prefix="test" %>
    but now it shows the error ,
    description The server encountered an internal error (Internal Server Error) that prevented it from fulfilling this request.
    exception
    org.apache.jasper.JasperException: File "/testTags/WEB-INF/tlds/testTaglib" not found
    any more suggestion ?

  • Jsp include tag 1.1

    Hi all,
    i am getting the following error if my code snippet has a <jsp:include> tag

    Hi kesavramesh,
    I think some time ago, you're looking for something like this
    - Can I use jsp includes inside the taglib ?-
    See point 1 and 2.

    Normally when you call one JSP page from another you have no significant access to the result of the called JSP. So if I have
    Hi, I like nice clean JSP output
    <jsp:include page="gobbledegook.jsp" flush="true"/>
    Doh!
    When it would be much nicer to be able to do this:
    <%@ taglib uri="blahblah" prefix="myTags"%>
    Hi, I like nice clean JSP output
    <myTags:cleanUp>
    <jsp:include page="gobbledegook.jsp" flush="true"/>
    </myTags:cleanUp>
    Wahoo!
    This can be accomplish with the tag class:
    public class TakeOutTheTrashTag extends BodyTagSupport
    public int doStartTag() throws JspTagException
    return EVAL_BODY_TAG;
    public int doAfterBody() throws JspTagException
    try {
    if (bodyContent != null) {
    String messy = bodyContent.getString();
    String clean = takeOutTheTrash(messy);
    bodyContent.getEnclosingWriter().print(clean);
    } catch (IOException ie) {}
    return EVAL_PAGE;
    public int doEndTag() throws JspTagException
    return EVAL_PAGE;
    private String takeOutTheTrash(String messy)
    String cleanedUp = messy;
    return cleanedUp;

  • Code Completion on portal jsps & htmlb

    Hello,
    what I have to do to use the code completion within a portal JSP file ?
    The htmlb taglib is referenced in te portalapp.xml as follows:
    <property name="tagLib" value="/SERVICE/htmlb/taglib/htmlb.tld"/>
    Are there other settings needed for the project in the NDS ? The help is only referencing the standard web.xml
    Thanks.

    Hi Christian,
        You have to add a reference in JSP as well. Here is a sample portalapp.xml and a .jsp page.
    <b>Portalapp.xml</b>
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <application>
      <application-config>
