JTree icons render as defaults when popup is shown

I'm having trouble with JTree. When I right click to show a popup, the JTree nodes are not renderered with the icons that I sent in my specialized renderer. Instead they have the default icons. When the popup disappears they revert back to my special icons. I have a specialized renderer, and editor attached to the tree. I have tried turning of the editor, but it still happens. Has anyone seen this before?
I looked in the DefaultTreeCellEditor, to see if where it was getting the icon, and I found determineOffset() method that calls getLeafIcon(), getOpenIcon(), and getClosedIcon() which are set to the defaults. My tree is more complex that leaf, open, closed icons. Some leaves have different icons depending on their type. I was wondering if somehow it was getting those icons from there.

Are your treeCellRenderer, treeCellEditor extends from the DefaultTreeCellRenderer / Editor ?
If yes, you can overwrite those methods.
There are also the UI manager can force the default icons used.

Why do the bookmark icons return to default (the blue bubbles) when i clear history? This is using os x mavericks.
OS X Snow Leopard did not do this. It retained the site icon next to my bookmarks.

The webpageicons database may be corrupted. It can happen.
Quit Safari.
Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following:
~/Library/Safari/WebpageIcons.db
Click Go then move the WebpageIcons.db file to the Trash.
Relaunch Safari. It may take a day or two for webpageicons to re populate.

Suggest mouse pointer should be redrawn when popup dialogue shown

When browsing through photos in the library the mouse pointer is correct turned off to avoid masking the photo. Even returning to the gallery view (G) the mouse pointer is still turned off, which is fine. Moving the mouse bring the pointer back however if the mouse is not moved and then action taken to prompt a popup dialogue using the keyboard (say you tagged some photos as rejected and then ctrl+backspace) the mouse pointer is left turned off.
Still able to navigate popup dialogue via keyboard but suggest mouse pointer should be turned back on when popup dialogue appears..

Are you saying that when you bring up a dialogue box by using a keyboard shortcut, the mouse pointer stays hidden and doesn't reappear even when you move the mouse?
I can't reproduce that on Windows XP. The mouse pointer is hidden when the dialogue box comes up, but any movement of the mouse brings the pointer back.
Is your mouse driver up to date?

CINNAMON:Icons return to default when exiting session or shutting down

I'm experiencing this issue: a few seconds before closing the session or shutting down, icons go back to default.
Do you know how to solve this problem?

I'm using Cinnamon, I set my icons using the Theme settings menu and by "default" I mean Adwaita, which is the default icon theme in Cinnamon, I suppose.
I tried to create a cache file for the icons, it didn't change anything.

Seting the default JTree icons

I want to edit another icons than the default icons in JTree object.
I look in the javadoc at the several methods, but I do not find a method witch can give me the possibility to setup the collapsed and expanded icon.
If some one now how to do that, it will be cool.

There are two common ways to change icons:
1. If you want to adjust icons for a specific tree, use the DefaultTreeCellRenderer methods:
setLeafIcon
setOpenIcon
setClosedIcon
Of course, you can get the renderer using the JTree Method:
getCellRenderer
2. To change the look-and-feel globally, use the UIManager method put, for example:
Icon yours = . . .;
UIManager.put("Tree.leafIcon", yours);
UIManager.put("Tree.openIcon", etc...);
UIManager.put("Tree.closedIcon", etc...);
//now create JTree's--Nax

How popup window maximize default when it opens

I am making one interactive alv report.
When i click on a record i am opening that record entries as a pop up window.
Now my requirement is when popup window open by default it should open in maximize screen.
I have tried to set the second view screen size maximum width and height..that does not worked..

U can adjust accordingly
LO_WINDOW->OPEN().

Render quality drops when importing sequences from Premiere Pro CS4

I have both AE and Premiere Pro CS4, and, because my Media Encoder doesn't work (a common problem, apparently), I import my sequences into AE to render. However, I've noticed a marked drop in quality in the sequence when imported into AE as opposed to when it's in Premiere Pro. It's comparable to a "Full" dropping to a "Half" when changing preview render quality in AE. What am I doing wrong? Is there some simple way to match the quality of the AE Comp (that has the PP sequence in it) to what the original Premiere Pro project has? Should I not be putting the PP project into a new comp in AE before I render it out? Is there another way that can retain the quality of the original Premiere Pro project?
This is urgent, as I need this rendered by Monday. Any help would be appreciated! Obviously, this is the first major project I've done this "workaround" with. I wish AME worked, but it doesn't for me.

By default, the Ram preiew resolution is adaptative and not full quality, as it's just to "preview". You can switch this behavior to full quality, and by default, when you render, it will always be "Full quality" before being compressed by your output module.
You can check the Ram preview doc and the rendering doc from the AE help.

Yes, it doesn't work. I ran in safe mode. nothing changed. I uninstalled Mozilla firefox with only standard removal, no change. I finally uninstalled Mozilla with complete removal and reinstalled it, then it return to normal. Why does this happen? Thanks for your reply.

After I create say a word document, file it on my desktop and then shut down my machine. The next time I open up the MacBook the file icon has been removed from the desktop. I can still retrieve the file in a folder labeled with the month I created it. But why has the OS removed it from the desktop and how can I stop it happening?
It happens to alias icons as well!

If you for some reason must have many different folder make sure that you put the newst photo in the last folder so one can easily find a photo when I don't want to copy all photos to, let' say, my friend computer.

Fixed it!
1. Made sure itunes software was up to date
2. Pressed and held 'home' button and 'on-off' button at the same time for about 10 seconds till ipod reset (I hadn't done this step previously)
3. Connected to itunes
4. Pressed restore and update ipod
Update successful and ipod taken out of recovery mode

Quit the app and restart.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Or reset the iPad.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
