Keyword and description fields missing when add bookmark

In a recent upgrade I notice the keyword and description fields are missing when "bookmark this page".
When view bookmark properties in bookmarks sidebar these fields appear

You can make the fields visible with code in userChrome.css ()they have visibility:collapse).
Add code to the userChrome.css file below the default @namespace line.

The customization files userChrome.css (user interface) and userContent.css (websites) are located in the chrome folder in the Firefox profile folder.

You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:
*Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)

How can I clear the description field of ALL my bookmarks at once?

Hello,
I would like to clear the description field of all my bookmarks. To do this manually would be horrible. Is there some tool that can do it? Or is there some trick to edit the sqlite file?
Also I'd be interested how I can stop Firefox from filling the description field when adding a new bookmark.

Adding keywords and description to filename

I've built myself an online gallery system to let my clients view and purchase their photos online. To streamline my workflow, the script that imports my photos and resizes them for web display will also parse the file name to pull out a description and tags (keywords). So I went in and added descriptions and keywords to a few test images and went to save them out to try running through the script, but when trying to save from Camera Raw neither keywords nor description were available to add to the jpg file name. I figured I could get around this by simply using Bridge to rename the NEF files using the keywords and description, then I could just have CR save the jpgs using the current filename, but even Bridge doesn't seem to be able to access this metadata (and this would add addition time to the process anyway).
I know I can work around this by simply batch renaming the sets of files that I would otherwise add this metadata to, and creating the file names manually before export, but that would add a fair amount of time into the process and eliminates me being able to use keywords in Bridge. I work two jobs right now and anything I can do to my workflow to shave precious minutes off of it is huge to me.
So I guess my questions are:
1) Is it possible to get keywords and the description into my filenames (without spending more time than this process was designed to save)?
2) If not, what's the point of having that metadata?
3) Is this functionality available in a newer version of PS?
I'm using Photoshop CS3 and the format my final JPG files need to have is: "[4 digit sequence number]_[Description]_[comma delimited keyword list].jpg"

Sorry about that, was too early in the morning when i posted that. No, you can't use Batch Rename to add keywords to files, i was thinking about metadata in general. The point of keywords is that you can search images for keywords and you can also use the Filter panel to show only images that contain certain keywords.
If you want Bridge to have this functionality then i suggest that you make a feature request here: http://www.adobe.com/go/wish

IPhoto Keyword and Descriptions

Over the last year, i have spent a lot of time scanning over 1,400 very old family photos into iPhoto 09 and have added keywords and descriptions. Now I would like to provide the enhanced pictures along with the keywords and descriptions to various family members as files on CD or DVD, but when I create a CD with the picture files (as .JPG), it doesn include the keywords or descriptions. Is there way to include the keywords or descriptions along with the photos so they can be viewed by users who have Windows PC's or Mac's? Thank you.

Select the photo(s) in iPhoto and export (file menu ==> export) checking the appropriate boxes to include the metadata - the selected metadata will be written to the EXIF and ITPC fields in the photo so any photo viewer can see it

How do I change Itunes:summary, keyword and description tags?

I have created my podcast in garageband and then uploaded it to Iweb. I submitted my podcast to itunes and it has been approved. The title of the Podcast is Heaven's Lounge and I put it in the music category. Below is the link.

Keyword and description not included in the Page Properties window

There is no Keyword and Description option in the Page Properties window (metadata). The only item available is HTML as <head>. How do I get Keyword and Description options included?

A master page has no keyword or description section, because it isn’t exported as HTML.

Pushing Keyword and Descriptions in PE4 to DNG files

I have a quetsion on assigning keywords to files. I use DNG files and want the descriptions and keywords I assign in the PE4 organizer to flow to the metadata of a DNG file. (I would like to use the organizer in PE4 becuase its well feature offers advantages over the Bridge CS2 options.)
When using DNG files in Adobe Bridge the keywords and captions posted in the metadata of the DNG file flow directly to the PE4 organizer.
When using PE4, I think I would need to go to the File Edit mode to change metafile properties. Saving this information in this mode creates a second file -- something I don't want right now. Does anyone have expereince in pushing keyword and captions/descriptions from PE4 organizer to the metadata of a DNG file? (I am a convert to DNG becuase it does not use sidecar xmp files, rather the metadata is embedded in the image file itself.

Thanks for the suggestion; however, I have tried to use the File/Write Tags for both DNG and JPEG photos and the metadata for the original photo file did not change.

Copy keywords into description-field

I have to work on many pictures so i don't want to do every step for every picture. I have no experience with scription so i ask you.
I'm searching for a script (or somthing else) that copies the keywords of one file into the description-field of the same file automaticly.

Receivables Items and Description Fields

Hi,
We are working in Oracle Applications 11i and I have an inquiry in the Receivabkes module.
From Transactions->Transactions Lines form (Form Name : ARXTWMAI) we have the info of item, description, etc.
As we are using another system to enter direct selling info/invoices, we are not using oracle order management module, and we have no setup regarding the items in oracle receivables module.
So, my question is: can we create a LOV for the two fields ITEM and DESCRIPTION? what are the possible solutions?

Not sure exactly what you are asking..but
A. Item field is not mandatory...so you can leave it blank..if you have no use for it
B. Description field is mandatory....you can enter any free text.....OR pull up LOV ...which will list standard memo line you've setup in AR and select one of the memo lines.

Material description is missing when replicating material from R/3 to CRM

I am facing middleware error.
I have replicated a material from R/3 to CRM system.
I am able to see all the details in CRM except the material description in CRM.
The material i have replicated from R/3 to CRM has a description in R/3 but the same description is missing in CRM and it is showing blank.

Go to the COMM_PRSHTEXT see the table entries is there are not. Pass product GUID in this table and check.

one for customer and another for contact with respective partner function.
but in my case it making only customer entry in IHPA.

Its really strange, why its wiping out the short text I am giving.

AD user account and description field

Has anyone ever encountered login problems if there was verbiage entered in the AD description field that had carriage returns(line feed) I am hearing that somehow the description filed is not just harmless text but can have
effect on login ability where as the comment filed is benign ?

The description attribute is not used during the logon process. So it does not affect the ability for the user account to log on.
I guess that if you are suspecting this to be an issue, you do see a problem with that account. Maybe other attributes of the user are affecting the user (logon time or logon workstation restriction for example).
Do you have some logs to share, error message or anything for this user?
