Hi I have the latest drivers from Creative for my Audigy 2 card running Windows 7 ,but now only my right front and rear left are working , I tried many things but no go any ideas?Thks

Seriously though, this board is lit up with people completely floored that Creative has stopped supporting their hardware with up to date drivers.

People... These days hardware resources are not much to ask from today's motherboards. Performance hit's Nope.
Suggestion... stick with the mobo audio and shut Creative down. What are they going to rely on for revenue if people are not buying SB cards? The Zen? Haaa!
Make some stocks drop, and show Creative where the power is behind their lame a$$ company... DON'T BUY CREATIVE!

Windows 7 no internet, tried downloading drivers from bootcamp and get an error mssg saying they are no longer on server. What to do?

Found many threads but all seem old. Tried downloading to a thumb drive from boot cafmp but get an error mssg saying that drivers are no longer available. Any help would be great.

Two power cycles later and all working again. Not sure why, but hayho.

'? Well, I just bought the Creative WoW Wireless Headset which I know was a mistake. I'll return it when I get the chance of course. But I'd at least like to try it for a few days.
So now I'm trying to download the drivers for it but the download speed is currently 0.6 kB/s which means I should be finished downloading the 66 MB driver in a few weeks or so. I tried to go to the Canadian website but it doesn't exist anymore? (broken link maybe lol)
Is there a way to download the drivers for it without having to wait 30 days and lose my chance of being able to return it for my $200 back? Ex. someone upload the driver to an uploading site please!

I have actually tried various set-ups.
My first was to store my movies on an external drive attached to my iMac upstairs - Result = constant pauses. I also tried changing to different channels on my Time Capsule.
My second set-up was to see if there was a problem with the connection due to the fact my iMac was upstairs and my ATV and TC downstairs. So, I used my PowerBook downstairs, therefore it is in the same room as my ATV and TC - Result = Same problem as above
My 3rd set-up was to put my movies on the TC but still the same problem
Then of course I tried the wired set-up I spoke about and that's fine. I have also tried various other settings like changing the channel on my TC changing the Multicast rate etc etc but no joy.
The thing is my internet connection is fine, no problems at all and I also have a Sonos wireless music system which works without any problems whatsoever. I can only assume that for whatever reason it just does not like the amount of bandwidth needed to stream video. I have 3 computers that use the TC but when I try to stream anything I ensure everything is shut down and it is only the iMac that is sending data so not to clog up the bandwidth.
I should also point out that I am using a new iMac (nearly new) 2GHz Intel Core Duo with 2 GB RAM, so it shouldn't be a problem with the Mac.

Firefox blocking downloads from Dell and Logitech

To download updates from Logitech or Dell we are having to go to Internet Explorer. If I have to use Internet Explorer why do I need Firefox and I wish I hadn't upgraded from 3.5 to 4.
This firefox 4 was in beta just a month or so ago and should not have been released since there are some serious bugs in it.

Forget about either Norton or Firefox - seriously - decide which is most important to you and ditch the other. The future is littered with massive compatibility issues, that need someone to "give in" a lot to solve this recurring situation.
Over the past couple of years Norton has taken like 2 months '''''after''''' Mozilla has released a new version of Firefox to fix their Firefox extension compatibility for the new version. That happened with both Firefox 3.6 and Firefox 4.0; now 5.0 is here and the Norton extensions aren't compatible once again. IMO, Norton just can't handle Mozilla's new Rapid Release schedule for Firefox and something's gotta give. It was 3 months from 4.0 to 5.0, but the 6, 7 & 8 versions of Firefox will be released at '''6 week''' intervals
Unless Norton cleans up its' act considerably, their Firefox user's aren't ever going to have compatible Firefox extensions. Taking two months to fix their stuff for a program that is updated every 6 weeks just doesn't equate.

If I downgrade to Snow Leopard can time machine back-up my latest memory from Lion and keep it in Snow leopard?

Will only the latest time machine back-up from SL work or can a back-up with lion be suitable in SL (when downgraded)?

Just did the downgrade, but Migration Assistant don't let you rescue any kind of information from the Time Machine backup. It just tells you to upgrade your system. I'm feelling like trying to downgrade my iPhone 3G from iOS 4 to 3. Impossible. Pretty f***** up...

FYI - Vista just had an update to NForce SATA drivers from NVidia - and my popping went away.

Just thought I'd pass that on; the update was titled 'nvidia update for nforce sata drivers'?And *SO FAR* I haven't had any popping sounds on my X-Fi card.

It just has to do with what versions of the drivers you currently have installed.
I have a NF 680i and I also got a Windows Update on the NIC but not the SATA. Maybe these updates are merely bringing users up to the drivers that were released as the 6.08 pack released at the time of the 780i release.

Dynadock u3.0 latest drivers prevent Google chrome from connecting to internet

I am using the Dynadock u3.0 on a Toshiba u845w-s400 and a 17R Dell. Both have Win 7, 64bit. When I initially let the windows find the drivers and figure things itself, Google Chrome worked just fine with Dynadock. The computers told me that I should install the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website and I did as suggested. After that, Chrome stopped working on both computers. Google Chrome opens up but when I type an address, it never executes. It just tries to load the page with nothing and then eventually gives up. Firefox and IE work perfectly fine with no other issues associated with printers or two external monitors or sound. I do not know what to do. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome with no luck. I generated new user folder under Chrome and that did not work either. I even rolled computers back to a previous date and reinstalled dynadock drivers with no luck. I would really appreciate any help on this matter as I have to use Chrome.

Creative and Vista supp

Recently I upgraded (clean install actually) to Windows Vista.
I have a Creative X-Fi XtremeMusic, which I bought about an year ago. I have Creative Inspire T7700 speakers hooked up to the X-Fi.
I'm really frustrated with the Vista support. I should have never upgraded if I knew there is such a lack of support.
Of course I installed the latest drivers, I installed ALCHEMY, Mediasource and etc.
What really disappointed me is that I made a serious downgrade instead of a proper upgrade once I tried adjusting my X-Fi. All my favorite functions were gone:
1. The Volume Panel icon in the tray is gone.
2. The new Volume Panel is extremely slow.
3. The THX Console is not working. (what is the point of having a THX logo on the volume panel if you can't actually calibrate your speakers !) e.g. Clicking on the rear right speaker in the THX console activates the front right speaker (in the volume panel it works correctly). Calibration doesn't work at all. The only thing that works in the console is the Bass Management.
4. The setting for adjusting DD and DTS output to 7. speakers is now gone.
5. There is NO DTS Neo plugin for creative MediaSource.
6. The nice DOLBY Digital / DTS logo that used to appear on the lower right corner when playing such content is gone.
7. Applying EAX effects requires to restart all the applications currently using the sound card (Otherwise sound just disappears)
8. No DVD-Audio. I have only album, though this really angers me.
and many others... such as emulation of SPDIF out and etc.. and not to mention all the applications such as Vienna SoundFont Studio, the Karaoke Player... all gone.
When is Creative going to release proper drivers and applications for Vista I mean whats the point in having an $50 X-Fi card when you can do all the things with an ordinary $0 7. sound card It has been more than an year now since Microsoft released Vista. People will start upgrading to Vista, and yes, customers won't be pleased with the so-called "upgrade".
And yes, I have the latest drivers, I have the latest software from Creative, Windows is configured to use 7. Speakers. It was all working fine under XP.

Magic Trackpad and Logitech keyboard hangs with Mavericks

Since updating to Mavericks, both my Logitech keyboard (DiNovo) and Magic Trackpad hang when chaning from one window to the next. I've reinstalled the latest drivers from Logitech, but that did not have any affect on the problem. Am I alone?

I had the same problem. I had the DiNovo and the Magic Mouse connected to my iMac. After the upgrade to Maverics, both devices would hang frequently (both when I selected to a new window and otherwise).
I got fed up and installed a USB keyboard, decommissioning the DiNovo. I would have put away the Magic Mouse too, but I couldn't find my USB mouse.
Funny thing is, after I removed the DiNovo, the Magic Mouse seems to be working fine.

I can't install the drivers from AppleMultiTouchTrackPadInstaller64 on WIndows 8.1 (Bootcamp dualboot)

When I try to install "AppleMultiTouchTrackPadInstaller64.exe" (Apple Multitouch (09/04/2013 5.0.20) and Apple Multitouch Mouse (09/11/2012 4.0.3.0)) on Windows 8.1 I get an install failed. As a result of this, I can't use right click (does not even work with a two finger click) or scrolling.
Note: I have a macbook pro retina 15 inch from late 2013. I used Bootcamp to install windows 8.1

I already tried to install to drivers support software from "\BootCamp\Drivers\" I even tried to download the latest drivers from the Apple website: Boot Camp Support Software 5.1.5621
But I get the "Install failed" error.
@Loner T: They don't have seem to have a different driver for Windows 8.1 See the description "Windows Support Software (Windows Drivers) you need to support 64 bit versions of Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1 on your Mac."

Latest drivers for audigy ca

Hello i have installed the latest drivers from this site. but i think the new drivers messed up te decoding of cmss. i dont hear nothing from the center and other four speakers are the same as the front speakers. why cant they make drivers that its works and the latest drivers has a delay in it of 3ms please fix it

i got a audigy player (D400) and i got a dtt2200. all sounds are great if i install it from the cd. but if i get te latest drivers of it.
The cmss upmix is a little bit confused it's like there is no upmix at all it's like hearing 6 channels to same.and the center louds to soft and it has no surround. if i play games it's working great if i play movies it workig 00% but if i play music from winamp or mediaplayer it has no surround only like a 4. speaker set. do you think this is a problem with my speaker set or soundcard. i am confused when i install it from the orginal cd it's working all fine but, newer games won't work with older drivers.

I have: Fresh install, WinXP SP2, SOYO Mobo (P4X400), Creative Soundblaster Audigy 2 Platinum (driver: 5.2..443)
After installing the drivers from Creatives Website I thought I'd start installing the ap

However I have not been able to install any of them, no matter the sequence. I receive a "setup did not detect the required components." I have sound, I see the device and drivers in Device Manager.
Please tell me how to get around this "loud" stop error so I may complete the re-installation of my Audigy 2 Platinum card.

) make sure your sound card is snugly in the PCI slot and didn't pop out
2) using the dxdiag utility (Start>Run>dxdiag), use the DirectSound test to test if the sound you're getting is from a software buffer. If it is, you may need to physically reinstall your sound card.
3) make sure that the apps are for your sound card. MediaSource updates sometimes refuse to install if you do not use Creative's update detection utility to find the correct one for your card.

with the latest 335.23 drivers, games are freezing (f1-2013,Grid2, COD ghosts, Battlefield 4),is as if it move slow
if I were to install the 331.40 Beta drivers, it works correctly.
any subsequent driver to 331.40 does not work well on my computer
any idea what it may be?

I have tried to uninstall the Gforce xperience and the problem persist.
I think my installation is clean. the drivers installer has a "correct installation" option. This removes old dirvers installation, restart the computer and install the new drivers.
how could make a cleaner installation?

in f12013 noticeable only when starting the game. There is an F1 car rotating, the 331.40 working fluid with the following drivers will rotate with the stoppages. in the gameplay round curves with many graphics also has those stoppages or redraws

i downloaded the latest drivers from msi's website, driver version 2.29, unzipped it and updated my drivers. the readme file says video driver = 29.20, but when i checked it under desktop properties/settings/advanced/geforce2integrated...its still 2832, is this right?

At least the leaked 30.30 drivers had support
for integrated geforce2. The official 29.42 drivers did not.
