Lightroom does not show up in my Adobe CC app

Originally I installed Photoshop CC, Bridge CC and Lightroom CC on a clean iMac using the Adobe CC app.
However now Lightroom does not show up in the installed apps in Adobe CC. Instead it shows it in the list of adobe programs with "Install" by it.
I think this is why its not telling me it needs upgrading from 5.3 to 5.4 hence I cant use the new Lightroom Mobile.
How can I get it to show up in the Adobe CC app ?

This indicates there might be an issue with the time configuration on the device.
Go to Settings > General > Date and time. See if Set automatically is switched to on. If so, switch to off and ensure you set date, time and time zone manually and correctly.
Power off the device (hold sleep button for four seconds, then slide to power off), then power back on.
If issue persists, switch Set automatically back to on, and if not resolved then restore the device.

Lightroom does not show on the download list, why?

I have just jointed CC and DL'd PS, but LR does not show up on the DL list of programs....? what's up with this?

If you have a perpetual Licensed version of LR 5 installed or a trial version you need to uninstall it. With a normal uninstall your user files, presets, catalog will remain in place.
Shutdown your system and reboot, then open the CC application manager and Lightroom cc should be available for download.
Both versions of Lightroom are identical only the licensing process is different.

That's because you need the latest version of iTunes, and it requires 10.5.8 or later.

Control panel does not show the home page when Newsstand app is open - could this be a bug?

When Newsstand is open and I press the home button twice to access the control panel, the home screen is replaced by the Newsstand app. Is anyone else having this issue? Is there a fix?

Pressing the home button twice does not access the control panel ... at any time.
To access the control panel, press the home button once to get to the home screen. Then swipe up from down near the home button to view the control panel.
Pressing the home button twice generally shows you the apps that are running.

Lightroom does not show installed in Creative Cloud App

For the second time, I find out there is a Lightroom Creative Cloud update and when I go to the Creative Cloud App, it shows not installed. I have only installed it from Creative Cloud. If I select Install, it installs and works fine. Used to be I'd get a little flag that showed there was an update--no more. Any thoughts?

For me, in CC app LR shows as 'Install" ie. you'd think it's not installed. I'm on 5.6 still BTW, so it really should show in installed as "update" as PS does. Of course LR never actually updates, you get to use up 1GB of your download allowance because they'd like you to have both versions even if you only want the 64 bit, and you run it as an install.
The really brilliant thing about this is you can only "install" that 1GB download on one computer even though it's been downloaded as a separate exe file. If you also want it on your laptop you get to download that 1GB file all over again because it can only be authenticated by CC when it has been downloaded by CC on the computer you want it on. Do not make the mistake of thinking that because you have CC installed on the second computer that using the 1GB file from the first computer and doing the install that your LR will be authenticated by CC after the fact.
It's only been this way for a year, so I'm sure will be fixed soon. I suspect it's something to do with LR being a standalone product that's being 'patched' into CC's auth system. I think I'm going to go back to buying the standalone when LR6 comes out, I rarely use PS.

Metadata from LR 6 does not show up in Picasa or other apps

I just upgraded to Lightroom 6. Previously, any photo I exported as jpg would display standard metadata in other applications. I use Picasa a lot as a viewer, and all the images I have exported from Lightroom 6 since upgrading show nothing in the usual fields (shutter speed, aperture, etc). This carries over to posting images to Flickr and the like - all camera and exposure info is missing.
In the export dialog I have "all metadata" checked. Any help is much appreciated.

Let's confirm whether this is the EXIF metadata format issue described here: Lightroom CC: JPEG format tripping up other programs. The more problems we can document and the more people vote on that topic, the more likely Adobe will address the issue.
In the Publish Services panel on the left, right-click the PicasaWeb service and do Edit Settings. Go to the Export Location Override section and change Folder For Temporary Copies Needed For Export to a specific folder. Now copies of the actual published files will be saved in that folder. Next, select two pics, one whose metadata displays correctly in Google+ and one whose metadata doesn't. Upload those two pics to Dropbox or similar and post the link here (or send me a private message). I'll then examine the internal metadata layout of both.

Most likely you have set the wrong file as the external editor. You don't want the obvious one; that's just a link to the welcome screen. Go back and choose this one, which is hidden away inside the folder Support Files:

When I open an image in Photoshop from Lightroom it does not show any adjustments, without restarting photoshop between each picture.

I am using Macbook Pro, Photoshop CC, and Lightroom 5.
The problem is: When I start edit in photoshop from Lightroom, the adjustment in Lightroom does not showing up in Photoshop. This has never been happen before while using Photoshop 6.
I have tried to reinstall the products several times, including OS Yosemite. But it does not help.

The problem with write permissions for the OneDrive folder only shows up in Lightroom 6's export dialogue, that's why it's to irritating. Lightroom 5.7.1 is not having that problem nor does the file explorer. The problem also exists on both of my machines. LightRoom 2.3 Does not show up in "open With" when image right clicked..Why?

I noticed that when I right click on an image and highlight OPEN WITH LightRoom does not show up as a choice.. Just CS4 and other programs. Is there a way to get it to show up?

You can do it. Right-clicking and "opening with" LR is no different than dragging a file from Windows Explorer into the grid view. In either case the import dialog will be launched. If it's already in the catalog you'll get that dialog.
Windows is seemingly unpredictable from time to time as to adding file associations to the context menu. In any case, if you go to the bottom and click "choose program" you can select LR from the expanded list, or navigate to find it if necessary (which shouldn't be necessary).
Typically once you choose it once, it will continue to appear in the short list for that file type, though it depends what new pieces of software you install and how they're associated with file types either upon or after installation.
You can also drag the file(s) from your Explorer window into the grid view, or drag onto the LR icon on your desktop or in your quick launch, which will launch LR and bring up the appropriate dialog.
