Linked css page not showing next to html page
i am not seeing the linked css page icon next to the html page icon unless i physically open the css file
Are you working within a Defined Local Site folder?
Part 03 - Setting up a Local Site | Classroom: Basic Site Layout and Navigation in Dreamweaver | Adobe TV
Is your CSS file inside your Local Site folder?
Are you sure your external CSS file is linked with the correct file path? For example, if working with new pages, you must save & name the page first. Then DW will update paths to external files for you.

Image not showing up in HTML page
I am running tomcat and in WEB-INF I have a simple HTML page that has is trying to show an image, but it doesn't show up.
Under WEB-INF I have:
mypage.html
images/logo.png
<html>
<head>
<link REL="SHORTCUT ICON" HREF="images/logo.png">
</head>
<body>
<img src="images/logo.png">Hello World!
</body>
</html>The image does not show up when I try and view it from tomcat (i.e. http://localhost:8080/mypage.html)
But it does show up if I just open up the HTML file with IE or Firefox.
Any ideas what I am missing?The page is invoked via a Servlet Filter. So I have mapped in my web.xml:
<error-page>
<error-code>401</error-code>
<location>foo.html</location>
</error-page>
In my servlet filter I have something like:
HttpServletResponse response = (HttpServletResponse) resp;
response.sendError(HttpServletResponse.SC_UNAUTHORIZED);..i have to check tomorrow when i am with the server again to see what the direct URL is to the image. Theoretically I'd assume:
http://localhost/myapp/images/logo.png
have to double check though -
Image from blog entry page not showing up on 'home' page of blog
My first blog entry went well. I created a blog first page, then created an entry, and dragged a picture to that entry. I saved, published, and all looked great. Even the comment area worked. But when I created a second entry page, and dragge a picture to it, and saved, the photo is not showing up on that first page of the blog, the one that reads like a list only with a picture and teaser part of the entry...See http://web.me.com/brendatharp1/brendatharpblog/OnTheRoad/OnTheRoad.html
The entry listing is there on the first page, and when you click on the title link, it takes you to the entry page and the photos are there. I noticed that on the first page, the Sept 13th entry with photo is inside a text box of sorts - this was the layered paper template I used and then modified. Dbl-clicking to make that box interactive shows the black floating box for dealing with the placement of the photo in that list; but that box only relates to that one photo from the 13th. If I drag and drop the 15th's photo there, it just sits over the text and doesn't interact. AND I didn't have to do that with the first entry. Any ideas out there? Thanks much, Brenda.Does this thread help http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1711038&tstart=15
I have experienced this and it was because I removed the placeholder and just added the image on the entry page. I duplicate blog entries and delete content to add new stuff so don't have to reformat every time, if you do that don't remove the image just add on the top - it should replace the previous image. Hope this helps, it is frustrating at times but the more you learn the easier it becomes. -
PO requisition notifications page not showing NEXT/PREV links
Hello All,
In the PO Requisition Notifications page, the region containing all the lines "ReqLinesNotificationsRN" doesn't show any NEXT/PREV navigation links if the number of lines are more than the default value set at Profile - PO:%Notif%lines%disp%Limit%
FYI,
1. I've checked with Profile - PO:%Notif%lines%Disp%Limit% and found it 20 lines by default. I've tried removing this value and made it to NULL. Still no effect.
2. Personalizing "ReqLinesNotificationsRN", which is a table region, I've set the option "records to be displayed" to 20. Still no effect
Can somebody please inform how to find a solution to this?
Thanks,
AnandMost likely, the Status column has been inadvertently turned off or repositioned too far to the right for it to show in the panel. Drag the panel into an open area of your screen and drag out its right edge to make it wider. If you still don't see the Status column, choose Panel Options... from the panel menu and re-enable it by ticking its checkbox under Show Column.

Green download link not showing in Firefox download page , currently using IE 6
I am currently running IE 6 on Windows 2000.
I want to install Firefox.
From the page
http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Installing+Firefox+on+Windows
I clicked on the link at "Firefox download page" to reach
the page
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ie.html?from=getfirefox
The "green download link " is not showing up on this page.
The message bar says " Done with errors"
Help is much appreciated. Thanks.Thank you cor-el.
I am redirected to
http://mirror.informatik.uni-mannheim.de/pub/mirrors/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/3.6.9/win32/en-US/Firefox%20Setup%203.6.9.exe
but nothing shows.
Something is blocking the download. Prabably because this is an exe file. There is a Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition installated, but I cannot find where the restriction is defined.
I am not that familiar with whether there is a some Windows configuration effecting this restriction
Also I am using Verizon FIOS, I do not suppose this is a source of the problem. -
Change Password link is not showing up in MyAccount Page
Change Password link is not showing up in MyAccount Page, eventhough the line
<class name="PasswordPortalSetting"/> is not commented out in DisplayPortalSettings.xml
We are using custom Auth source and not using plumtree Auth source, Is this could be a reason?
Any help is appreciated.I'm seeing the same thing as Simon, I changed the iOS device name in both places on an iOS device and the name in the Intune console is still "iPhone" which is really unhelpful as I'm sure you can imagine. Is there some other place
that we should be going to rename devices so they are more easily identifiable in the Intune console?
Thanks! -

I've researched to death and tried everything but can't fix this.
Recently did a clean install on my iMac and since then iWeb won't work.
I have :
- Reinstalled from original disc then updated to latest version 3.0.4
- Deleted the com.apple.iWeb.plist file and com.apple.iWeb Cache Folder, restarted, and tried opening again
- I have removed my domain.sites2 file to try and open iWeb and initiate making a new site
iWeb is fully loaded and operational - in Activity Monitor it does not have a red flag - shows as being operational. I can access iWeb's Preferences, open and close various Inspectors, but the main window is simply not visible.
I am on Lion 10.7.2
I had updated my website using iWeb while on Lion 10.7.1
I have a small business and my website is outdated and will be losing me new customers at this point who will think I don't have the latest stock and information.
Any help appreciated - naturally no need to reply if 'fixes' are as per other posts and noted as having been tried above.Where is the main page not showing? In iWeb or online?
In Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
For opening your domain file in Lion or to switch between multiple domain files Cyclosaurus has provided us with the following script that you can make into an Applescript application with Script Editor. Open Script Editor, copy and paste the script below into Script Editor's window and save as an application.
Just launch the application, find and select the domain file you want to open and it will open with iWeb. It modifies the iWeb preference file each time it's launched so one can switch between domain files.
do shell script "/usr/bin/defaults write com.apple.iWeb iWebDefaultsDocumentPath -boolean no"delay 1
tell application "iWeb" to activate
You can download an already compiled version with this link: iWeb Switch Domain or from Toad's Cellar.
WARNING: iWeb Switch Domain will overwrite an existing Domain.sites2 file if you select to create a new domain in the same folder. So rename your domain files once they've been created to something other than the default name.

Dreamweaver Design view does not show parts of the page
Hello all,
I was working on a page update - page was created using a
template so
that the client can add content with Contribute - and have
discovered
that suddenly whole sections of the page are no longer
visible in Design
Mode. This caused me some panic until I viewed in code view
and found
everything still in there. Viewing in browser shows the page
there in
entirety too, and uploads just fine. But no matter what I do
- restart
the program, restart the computer - nothing changes, the page
design
does not show parts of this page. Everything is in an
editable area and
should be visible.
I have been editing the code as that was my only option, but
now I have
heard that my client cannot view those sections of the page
in her
Contribute either.
The page is here:
http://www.craft-design.ns.ca
Any help would be gratefully received.
Thanks

Normal template files have two editable regions in the head
of the page -
doctitle, and head
The one you linked does not.
That's what I was talking about.

I have stopped recommending it to my clients.

SEO Properties settings not showing in Term Driven Pages tab in Term Store
Hi,
Many people have documented the ability of setting up SEO properties to a term in the term store in SharePoint 2013, but I was not able to find a place to do that.
Can anybody help me on figuring out how to set SEO properties for a given term via the term store UI ?
I read somewhere that this can be achieved by setting the properties in the Term - Driven pages tab of a term but can't seems to have such option available.
Thanks and Best Regards,Hi Supun,
I have seen a similar post from you. You can take a look at the following thread:
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/d3900557-a3ed-422d-9340-a213be8b539f/seo-properties-settings-not-showing-in-term-driven-pages-tab-in-term-store?forum=sharepointsearch
I would suggest you to open only single thread for single issue. You can discuss your problem in this thread only.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
Best regards.
Thanks

Wism controller does not show url redirection spalash page
Hi
Wism controller does not show url redirection/splash page .
client takes the ip from the dhcp server. when browsing its not going to the authentication page as usual
Thank youCan you elaborate on your issue... really hard to follow. To me, it seems like you want to use a guest splash page. The client associates to the open guest ssid and get's an ip address. Now the user has to open a browser to get the portal page correct? This has nothing to do with the WLC, but the OS on the device. Some devices can detect if no internet is present after authentication and obtaining an address. This means the device will automatically open a browser to present the user with the splash page. Other devices will require the user to open a browser to get the login screen.

How to send information from HTML page to JSP without reloading HTML page?
Hello,
Is it possible to send information(row number selected by user) from HTML page to JSP without reloading HTML page?
Thanks.
Oleg.Yes, you can do this with framesets and a hidden frame.
You need a bit of JavaScritp in the "visible" frame that
sets the location of the hidden frame to the JSP.
Add the user's choice as a parameter to the JSP URL.
